This is a wonderful grocery store for all your Indian grocery needs! The customer service is wonderful and I always feel like a part of a community when I come. The store is also well-kept and tidy, and is always a pleasant experience. Definitely recommend this store for anyone looking for a go-to Indian grocery stop!

The store has recently been started looking more organized. We can get fresh as well as frozen veggies. Many other frozen eatery opinions are available which are mostly Indian Snacks and foods. The staff is friendly and helpful. Has a huge variety of all the Indian products. Most of the items are fresh. Would definitely recommend this one.

This is the best DESI Indian groceries store, I am proud Gujju. Owners Pravinbhai & Mayabhabhi are always ready to help me. If they dont have a item you are looking for they will get it in less than week. Many Gujarati items are hard to find in other Indian groceries stores but owners themselves are proud Gujju too so it is very easy to explain what I am looking for..Fresh vegetables are plus point here.I am coming to this stotes for 15+ years in Fairfax VA & many more years I will coming here.

Very dirty place. Prices are higher than nearby India Bazar. Inventory is very limited. They do not take returns even if dry goods are completely sealed and never opened.

Please don’t go to this shop they are selling expired products, I bought sunflower oil on jan 21 2019. This oil was already expired(10/2018).I don’t know why this people are playing with others health.

Its small and prices are good but not very clean. This place really stinks. They have a small selection of vegetables which are mostly fresh. Large variety of snacks. But I just cant get past the smell at this place.

This is not a patel brother but we had to drive a long way to reach there hence thought of buying some stuff. The owner was polite but i thought my regular indian store that i go to is more cost efficient than this store

If you don’t check receipt while at the crowded counter due to Covid, you may be in for rude surprise when you see the receipt after coming home. I had an item duplicated ($12 worth, not a big deal in the schema of things) and hopefully an unintentional mistake!But the drama started when I called the store after coming home. They sounded genuinely interested in resolving the problem. They pulled the receipt ($118) and started checking item by item. When the duplicated items are identified, I get evaded responses like ‘you must have taken something else for that price.’ When I asserted that it was not the case, I get the answer ‘ok, fine, I will adjust when you come next time’ as if they are doing a big favor. Hope they will indeed adjust when I go next time, if I do go! I certainly don’t feel like going though with this bad taste! There was no sense of trusting the customer!

It has very good Indian groceries, some items might be overpriced, but its very good quality. I have been coming here for 5 years now and have never been dissatisfied. I wouldve put 5 stars if it werent for some overpriced items but overall it is a very good place and I would recommend it to anyone.

Fresh Indian veggies, Karela, okra, tiny egg plant, snake gourd - love it. Helpful staff. Well organized. Feels like (surprise!) being in an Indian shop :)

Good place near fairfax

It is a messy place. And the owner was wearing a very dirty face mask. Name is different not Petal Brothers. Took long time to locate it.

Not Patel Brothers anymore, they renamed themselves to Seth Brothers (sorry, wrong spelling). Still the same store with all kinds of Indian supplies. We try to go there and stock up at least once every other week.

Shop for your supplies anywhere but here. Owner is filled with arrogance and doesnt know how to treat customers. Half the time they are out of goods which are easily available at Lotte Plaza or other places. Their groceries are stale and you have to be really careful buying goods as it may be expired. If you ask or confront the owner about selling goods, he doubles down and tells you to shop somewhere else. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone else.

They give least importance to cleanliness. Most of the Indian stuff rotates fast and hence expired items are not found.. usually fresh stock is available

U get almost all Indian domastic needs including vegitables, condiments others at reasonble price

Its like the store of your neighborhood with friendly people whom you know by name. They mainly deal South Asian vegetarian groceries. Its well stocked. Though its shelves could be appealingly organized. Operators are always visible and accessible.

Great store and friendly service at low prices, but they need to have more parking spots for their customers or work with their neighborhood stores to accommodate them for 10 minute express parking, so they get more customers. Maybe I went on a festival (Diwali /Deepavali) weekend and I had to circle around a time or two for the parking. The parking experience was frustrating.

Negative experience. Owner & staff, both acted in a very patronizing manner. She does you a big favor by letting you in. A bigger favor by letting you buy things from them!I generally dont do reviews but this place made me feel very very uncomfortable. There are other Indian store options around with a much cleaner & organized ambiance and a far superior customer experience.

Cant find better place then Patel Bros for Indian groceries. They have everything! The owners are really cooperative. I had to take 1 star off just because of cleanliness they maintain.

They’ve charged two times for the same item when I was not paying attention to the register. They did this to me twice. They looked stumped when I called them out on this. Avoid this place, they’re frauds.

Extremely rude staff, the guy standing in the counter talks as if he’s giving you things for free, I’ve been here just once and would never go again. There are a lot better stores where you get Indian stuff like lotte, h-Mart and other places.

Has an okay stock of Indian supplies, but this is NOT Patel Brothers. Came all the way from DC and it turns out this is not Patel Brothers, not even close.

A good place to buy Indian stuff. You can expect Pickles, Indian ice cream, frozen veggies from India, snacks etc.

Good price and we can find most indian stuff. But customer service is very bad(zero). They wont allow us to touch most things and they were very sensitive about this.

Almost all the products are very expensive compare to other Indian grocery around Fairfax VA.. I found same product in other grocery more cheaper with good quality. I dont know why they charge more. On top you will not get any greetings from the owner or employee at the time of visiting or leaving the grocery. Besides these, I have visited several times, every time I found the store very dirty & messy. If you want to save your money.I would highly recommend to avoid this store..

Probably the most flourished Indian grocery store in Fairfax area. The staff is rude. Good option unless one needs some help from/has questions for the staff.

Great selection of Indian spices with rare to find indian produce. Good selection of freezer items as well such as paneer and easy to cook meals. The owners are mostly present when I have visited and they are really sweet.

Agree with all the negative reviews. I went to this place for years because it was one of 2 stores selling Indian groceries. I stopped after I discovered H-Mart Korean grocery stores selling Indian stuff and no more negative attitudes. A little language barrier but nothing like the insolents at Patel Bros.

Unlike all other indian store they have complete range of fresh produce.Other grocery is also lot of variety. You can probably complete your entire food shopping without having to go anywhere else.I am afraid i did not go there for months looking at reviews. If you are there for the products and not greetings feel free to go.The place is defintely above the stars it shows on google.

Your run of the mill indian grocery store. Lacks space and is crammed specially during weekends. Be advised, they do not take discover or amex.

Staff behavior can be lot better. Billing is still archaic. One cannot make out what items have been billed and at what price. However, the two stars for the stocking. They tend to keep most of the items required generally.

The man who works here was incredibly rude. I work for a family in Virginia who are looking for a live-in Indian housekeeper, but I live in NYC. I called on the phone to ask if I could put up a flyer in his store and if I could email him the information. He could simply say no. Instead he yelled at me for asking saying that he was the only one working there and he didnt know anything and that I shoudnt have called. Im confused as to how he thinks I should have known that he wouldnt know anything. Based on his treatment of me I would never shop there and would discourage people from doing so. No need to deal with people like that.

Must visit Indian grocery store. Try khakras they the in house brand - swad. One of the best available.

Patel Brothers is an Indian Grocery store. They have been in business for several decades and carry most Indian groceries. Their prices are for the most part competive. Usually on weekends they are busy and they try to speed up checkout.

Frauds! They sell ganpati murti saying its ecofriendly and will dissolve in water.But the murtis are plaster of Paris and dont dissolve at all.

I went there to buy an indli stand which the shop stocks. It was kept at a place inaccessible to me. After waiting for 15-20 minutes a shop attendant handed me a piece. I opened it and saw it was a very dirty item.I regret not taking a picture of it at the time. Normally I am not a fussy shopper but even I could not make myself buy that particular piece. I asked the shopkeeper for another one at this point after waiting for more that 25 minutes he asked me to basically take a hike.so thats what I did.

These people are thieves. More often, they charge twice for an item by entering the price very fast. You wouldnt notice unless you watch carefully. Wouldnt even sell an item back to you if are short of penny and they double charge you and sell food sometimes which are about to expire or already expired. Be careful and avoid this store if possible.

The guy at the counter is the rudest person I have ever met. He behaves as if they are doing a favour on us. They dont even provide a detailed bill, just say food item and price. One can never verify the bill.

A little crowded, good place for Indian groceries!

They have a good selection of items and prices are reasonable. However quality of anything they carry is below average and service is bad.

It offers a huge range of Indian goods. The only down side is that the owners arent as friendly as Id like. Also for a person reliant on public transit, walking here from Walmart (a ten min walk), particularly in summer and in peak winter, is not an encouraging prospect when theres another Indian store (Bombay Foods) right next to Walmart!

Expected it more BIG and More Varieties, Not up to limit alike Patel Brothers Brand Stores, With lots of varieties especially for the most of the Indian Community lives in VA.

Its a small shop, but somehow you can get whatever you need. Theres a problem with payments if you but less than 20 dollars, but you never end uo with things for less than 20 dollars.

This is small pawn broker shop with Indian spices and goods. The store items are Ok but the behavior of the store manager and the workers are very rude and mannerless. My 2 year kid was holding a plastic bottle and the store manger literally yelled at her in order to keep the bottle in place...how on earch a little child would know of that....He saw me controlling her but he did not cared!! He was like if the child drop the plastic bottle, he will loose money.....I have never encountered a person in northern virginia area having such bad etiquette
