Really bad experience. Dont ever get this snack. Its disgusting. They probably used oil that was used earlier several times deep frying other foods, when this was made. You can tell by the taste.Also, they have lots of food that was made over the weekend refrigerated and sold at a lower price. There are no date markings on any of the food. You really cant tell if it was left over from Sunday or 3 days before that.

I did shopping here yesterday. Lady employee was eating food. No greeting. I asked her one item. She refused saying she dont have it.I asked her again. She asked me to check that in freez and continue eating food.When I came to the counter I didnt realized their Pan are expired date which was starched with sketch pen selling for $3.99. Plus Castor oil prices is $1.59 extra compare to market price. She talk big about customer service but her employees dont know how to treat customer right.S

Rip off central!! They have the item I came to buy on sale with a piece of paper displaying that it was on sale. I pointed it out to the lady there but she said it was and she’s just leaving it there. Unless ur Indian they will take you for all your money. Do not go here!! Freaking scammers!!!

This store has a wide range of variety of Indian foods and gift items at a very reasonable price.. It is so clean and organised since their ownership has changed.. I love shopping here. Very professional, helpful and friendly staff.

I bought some items in this store the lady charged me wrong prices. Packets clearly say if you buy two its only $.99 but she charged me 1.49 per first item and 2 nd item $.99 and you cant see what their scanning price until you pay and authorized. You cant argue with them because they are very harsh. Once you buy it that is final sale no return weather good or bad. I never recommend this place to anyone.

Its a decently maintained Indian grocery store with a small space. We get mostly all of the Indian food at the same prices as in other stores. What I particularly like here that its clean and well kept. The cashier is usually an Indian and they are courteous and helpful.

One of the worst grocery shop, kindly check the expiry of goods before check out. I have purchased tablet which was expired 10 months back. After contacting owner, still haven’t got refund of my money even after 45 days.

One of the best Indian grocery stores in Fairfax. They have a good collection of everyday things ranging from spices, different kinds of flour, frozen items, vegetables, snacks, pickles and more.They serve good selection of sweets as well. The shop also has a restaurant managed by the same company right next to it. Restaurant has a decent selection and is very cheap.They also serve Chaat.

I LOVE IT THERE!They recently got new ownership and it is so clean I dont know any other Indian Store this clean. They have all up to date items with great PRICES!!! The lady at the counter is so nice. I couldnt find something and she walked me and helped me find the item, and she specially ordered this oil I wanted from India. It was just a really good experience and I honestly havent been to any other indian store like this one. MUST GO!

Friendly staff, reasonable price and a brass variety of products. The only one drawback is that Patel has a wider variety of products than Bombay Foods. However, the Bombay Foods staff are more helpful and friendly. They also have a student discount which is good for students who come on loans! Also, since its a one min walk from Walmart, it makes its location ideal for people reliant on public transit!

Good variety of Indian snacks and sweets. The space is a bit smaller in size. But theyve tried to include all the possible Indian items that are necessary for a typical Indian grocery store.I also saw some sweets such as Guzliya, Gram flour based sweets etc near the billing counter. They also have some Pooja items. Theyve a large collection for tea and tea related snacks such as rusk and tea biscuits.Friendly cashier.It can get a bit crowded during weekends or peak times.

Tried their food during Diwali Fest in VA, and it was disaster. No taste or quality. I started feeling sick right after eating their food.

Produce selection and quality could be better

Purchased a DVD that clearly said the movie has subtitles. However, once we got home and tried to watch the movie, there werent any subtitles. Went back to Bombay Foods and they did not care - no offer to exchange or refund and denied our request to do so. This is 3 out of 3 times I have shopped there with terrible customer service. Never again.

I bought rotis and was all fungus... they rack expired food.. beware !!

Congested and vegetables were spoilt

Probably the owner of this place has a deal with Patel Brothers which is near by. Things are pretty expensive in both the places. Certain items that are marginally over priced at Patel Brothers are marginally lower at Bombay Foods and vice versa.
