NEVER AGAIN GOING THERE. What a way to ruin what should have been a beautiful Saturday family outing, 9/25/2021. Saturday is our family s burger and ice cream day; and today, we decided to go to Dairy Queen in Fairfield. While I was ordering thru the small counter window, another sales staff called another customer in line and then the manager called a third one in line - all of us being serviced through a small window. They were entertaining and taking orders of three customers at the same time. I asked them to please wait till the other customer leaves since we are still asked to social distance. And rudely, the manager says to me, they are not doing anything wrong. She was not going to listen to my request, which was to please finish taking and filling my order before calling another customer to the window. Well, what do you know, 2 of the 3 orders were wrong and my order which was something I regularly order from Dairy Queen was a Pineapple-Banana Blizzard was not what I got. Instead what I got was vanilla ice cream blended - really with scant pineapple and no bananas. Both me and the other customers got to talking and we were both astonished how they were insistent in entertaining multiple customers thru a small window at one time. We could not socially distance at all. I was so disgusted that when I told them that my order was wrong - they were still piling up the customers that they could not attend to me or hear me... so I simply left my order without eating and left. Sorry Dairy Queen Fairfield, you will never see us again come to your store. And yes, I will report you to the health department.

Such a memorable place to visit during summer time! Not exactly artisanal ice cream but the soft serve hits the spot!

Went mostly for nostalgia. Given the wrong flavor ice cream, but wasnt really worth it to have the teen correct the order with a huge line behind us.

As it happens, I didnt go inside, but the product sure was yummy!

Dairy queen is Dairy queen, nice ice cream and blizzards. What is driving this review is the service. The girl at the window was rude and nasty. She yelled at people because they weren’t forming the line properly. She reprimanded my group because 2 of us approached the counter and apparently it should have only been one person. Completely understand each establishments right to their own rules during covid, but its all in the presentation. She could have said all the things she said jn a kind tone instead of literally yelling at people. A job in Customer service is not for everyone

The best blizzards ever! They hold them upside down before they give it to you to show how thick and perfect they are!! Very clean and every employee and customer (6 ft. Apart) had masks on.

I havent been here for YEARS and my nephew had his tonsils out and I promised him a milkshake...come to find out he shouldnt have dairy...whoops. I pulled up to the same DQ that I had frequented 20 years ago and nothing had changed, except for the Orange Julius merge. I got there in time for small size Happy Hour and I got a non-dairy, fruit smoothie for him for $2! Love it!

Good ole DQ! Consistent with other locations and good ice cream...not homemade but you know that going in. Busy place but service was fast. Tricky parking when it gets busy but fast turnover. Good stuff.

Definitely my all time favorite ice cream place. Especially their milkshakes, which are to die for.

Who doesnt love DQ in the summer?! Fast and efficient service always! Only downfall of this location is lack of parking and hardly any place to sit and enjoy your cone, especially if you have kids in tow.

One of the only places in town to get ice cream. We have had multiple runs here at night to get ice cream and they have never disappointed. Its Dairy Queen ice cream but it is something. Its pretty good actually. Staff have always been kind as well. Be careful though there is sometimes a line here and it can get long. Also if you plan to eat there you might not find spots. There are no indoor seats. You can only seat outside on benches. But its okay somehow everyone manages.

The line was long but the Blizzards where good. Even got to try their cotton candy blizzard. Super delicious and sugary.

Whats better than really creamy chocolate or vanilla soft serve, with just about any topping to can think of? All blended together, if youd like. Fun place, super-quick service, yummy ice cream. Best item on the menu is a Peanut Buster Parfait, imho.

Little parking and on busy road. Otherwise, it was great! Very busy the day we went due to how hot it was. Nevertheless, the staff moved quickly and we were served sooner than I thought.

Poor customer service. Server shouted at my daughter for not telling her about her peanut allergy - she stated all toppings are cross contaminated at all times and this is not stated anywhere. Had my daughter gone anaphylactic she probably would have shrugged it off. Shopper beware - I will not be doing business there anymore.

How do you not love a DQ Blizzard on a hot summer night? Apparently, Im not the only person who loves em. When we got there, the line stretched along two sides of the building.

There was a very poor service and that person started yelling at us I have a severe peanut🥜 allergy and they were being very rude to me and my mother. They lost my Business!!!!
