Called them Saturday afternoon when the alternator went out on my wife’s vehicle.Let us drop it off Saturday afternoon and had it back to us Monday afternoon. Most places around me wouldn’t even be open to drop off until Monday morning.Got it fixed and charged exactly the price quoted.Roy was great to deal with. 7 out of 5 stars would recommend !

Excellent service from friendly and hardworking folks! I had an alternator failure on a long trip. They worked hard to get the necessary part and get it installed quickly so I could drive the remaining 350 miles to my home. The cost was low, even though it was urgent. Youre lucky if they are your local shop. Roy and his crew are the best!

They accomplished the brake work that I needed in a timely manner. Their employees are plenty friendly but I did not like that my initial quote was almost double what it should have been. I did a double take but then realized that most of the stuff on there were things that they recommend I do instead of just what I needed done. I guess I dont mind to see a continuation sheet of bonus stuff they could do but if I just go in for brakes I dont need a huge list of things they want to do just so they can squeeze another $1,000 out of me

I was working in the area and found myself two hours from home with an inoperative alternator, and a quickly fading battery. All the dealerships told me next week for an appointment...Roy at Meineke told me “bring it now”. The truck was dead so Roy gave me the number of a trusted tow company. The gentleman came and got my truck and took it over to Meineke. This was at 3:30pm on a Monday. Next morning first thing, Roy called and said it was indeed the alternator and he had ordered both options for my truck the day before so they were going to get started. About an hour later at around 10:00 he calls and tells me its finished. About 19hrs from tow to done. Amazing. The price on the alternator was right, and had the truck failed at home, I would have only saved labor from what I could have got the part for. I owe getting home to Roy! Thanks fellas!

I went in for an oil change and to inspect my brakes. The oil change was on special and the brake inspection found my brakes in good working order.

I had an amazing experience today. I previously Went to a mechanic who replaced and messed up my brakes and that made me have a grinding sound when I cut my wheel to the right. Roy at Meineke told me to come in at 1:30. My car went in almost immediately and they figured out the issue. They didnt charge me for looking at my car and advised me to see if the previous person who messed up could fix it and if they couldnt, they advised me to come back to Meineke. Ill be back!!!! I cant back and got my car fixed for a decent price. I will come back again. Roy & Shiloh are phenomenal

I was not happy with the wait time on my car. I had my car towed to Meinke on Friday March 5th because it was leaking antifreeze. I was told it would be checked on Monday March 8th. When I called, it was not looked at. I called Tuesday he said the computer was down. I called Wednesday got the same excuse. So, Thursday I went up there to get my car and take it somewhere else.I was very upset about the service I go. When I got there to get my car, he tells me then what they found was wrong with it. I got not one call from them at all. I did the initiating. I told him just fix it so I can get my car. He promised it would be ready Friday the 12th. I went to get my car Friday and it was not touched. I was livid. A different guy was there . I told him my car had been sitting there for 10 days with nothing done to it like my car didn’t matter. He explained that he was sitting in for the guy and he was sorry the way thing were happening. He promised if he had to fix it tomorrow he would and he would make sure the other guy know. Saturday 11day at Meinke. So before I got there I called and was told my car would be ready before noon. I got the about 1:00pm and my car was sitting in the same place 11days ago. When I walk-in. He knew I was mad as hell. I had to wait an additional 45min. Just to get a thermostat housing on my car. I will never give them my business again. Another customer told me the same thing. I’d advise anyone not to take your car to Meinke on Lincoln Trail in Fairview Heights Illinois.

Roy at the Fairview Heights location always gets me in for an oil change on my Dodge Challenger. Ive been coming to his Meineke for years since I got my vehicle in 2017. I only trust them to take care of my vehicles needs.

Had my car for 6 days 08 mini cooper had excuse every day got tired of waiting so picked my car up. Evident their mechanics were not familiar with my car smh check engine light on.

I was very pleased with the service.

Roy was very nice! As a woman I always get nervous getting my car worked by myself. Other places always up my bill for other things but not here!!!Dropped my car off Thursday afternoon and their lot was FULL with other cars to work on with only two workers. I got a call my car was ready to be picked up by 1pm the next day!!!

I wish i could rate this place zero stars. i went in and told them i had a leak in my ac and knew i did. Ray told me i was wrong and that it was something else and fought me on it. i eventually gave up and just told him to fix what they thought it was. $225 later my ac didn’t work the next day!! when i called Ray told me they would fix it again no worries!! but for more money. this is after i told him i knew what was wrong with it but told me i was wrong when i obviously was not. they scam and i will NEVER go there again and i will tell everyone i know to not step foot inside their doors.

I came to get an oil change early in the morning at 8 am. I was out within 30-40 minutes and my car ran fabulously.

Technicians were thorough and fast. They met the appointment time and I was in and out in 30 minutes.

I took my car to the Fairview Heights location for the first time for an oil change with included tire rotation. I was there over an hour, which was more than enough time to get the job done. When I left, I noticed some road noise but thought it may just be from the rotating of my tires. Over the next couple days, it got louder and was accompanied by vibration so I knew something was very wrong. I stopped driving my car and had a friend with experience come check it out. He discovered that the lug nuts on all 4 tires were not tightened. This is extremely alarming as this could have caused an accident. I contacted customer service and got a call from the manager. He explained to me that the employee who worked on my car had been fired (sounds like he was fired before my complaint). He wanted me to bring the car back so they could check it out. I refused to do that since it wasn’t done correctly in the first place so why would I trust anyone there now, especially since this was my first and only experience with them. I’m also disappointed that he didn’t offer to refund me the money I spent there since clearly the service I received was not performed correctly.

Very honest people working here. Any time I come get my car worked on in any capacity, I always feel like they’re giving me the true solution. Other places tend to lie to you on what needs fixed or maintained on your vehicle. Meineke is great service ata great price.

Service was fast. Guy at front desk was nice and polite, BUT I asked for a diagnostic test to be done, because my car is having issues. Not sure if my transmission needed to be checked, or if I just need a tune up. Guy at the front charged me for my oil change, and I asked him what did the test say. He said the guy just “Looked” at it, and didn’t see a problem. Well it’s a problem, because my car is still doing the same thing it was. 🙄

I took my car to Meineke in Fairview Heights, IL. My car needed an oil change and I asked can they check my A/C and let me know what the problem was because it just blew out warm air. They called me back a few hours later saying they just need to do a recharge on the A/C. I said go ahead and do it. $265 later I got my car and took it on a drive. The A/C still was not working. I called them back up right away. Did they not check after they were finished if it worked? Did they even check to see if another component of the A/C was going bad or did they just do a recharge without diagnosing the issue? I have to take it back up Monday since they are closed on Sunday, but I believe I should be refunded the $200 some odd dollars if the issue was something else the failed to diagnose

Dont understand all the negative reviews. I took my G37 in to get the Catalytic Converters replaced. I usually only do my own work but I was stumped and didnt have the patience any more. Jason helped me through the whole experience and he offered the lowest price in town! After it was all said and done, I walked out spending HALF what I thought I was going to. This was about a week ago. Today I checked out the work he had done and I was very impressed. No complaints at all.5/5 Would RecommendAsk for Jason! Very honest and very knowledgeable.

My car battery needed to be replaced. Even though they were very busy the car manager took time to get my car back on the road. He looked up my records and made sure my warranty was used. This saved me on the price of a battery and only cost the price of labor

Went in for an oil change and a couple days later started noticing huge puddles of oil in my garage....Kind of Freaked out so I took off work in the morning to get it checked out at a different place and they found that the drain plug was loose and the access door was missing. No big deal I understand that mistakes happen Went back to Meineke and asked for a refund...Manager stated he could not do that and he would have the District Manager call me......NO PHONE CALL....NO COMPENSATION..JUST A SHRUG OF THE SHOULDERS AND A SORRY

I walked in (no appointment) with an exhaust leak. I left 1 hour later with problem repaired for just $76. I am very pleased with the job they did and not trying to sell me something I didnt need. ( It may have helped that I went in knowing what the problem was and what needed to be done to fix it). I will be bringing any future exhaust problems here.

The waiting room actually had a TV that worked and the service on my truck fast after they took it in. I was impressed.

My vehicle needed a new shifter cable . I called meineke just for an estimate I. Less than 45 minutes later a tow truck was at my house picked up the it was diagnosed and fixed less than 2hours later it paid off just be a rewards member I guess that’s what you call great customer service

There prices are high prices, I came for estimate and their labor charge alone was $600.00 for me. I sent another place and got a estimate that was sliced in half. But the employee was super nice and honest. Dont get that with everyone.

We had a new muffler put on here and had to go back twice after they installed it because it wasnt correct. We just recently relocated to TX and went to a mechanic for loud noise and low and behold guess what..... yep the obvious! It has a leak! We paid a lot of money and when we called to talk to customer service because it is still under warranty they told me I have to drive my car back to IL to have it repaired under the warranty! What there are no Meinekes near me? Oh yes there are! Unbelievable seriously horrible because we even told this location we were relocating and since we had been in twice to have it fixed after they replaced it with a new part we wanted to make sure the warranty would apply at all Meinekes. They assured us yes and well that was a lie! Seriously charged us then had to go back twice then you lie....NO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I went here to fix a hack job done by another meinkie. The guy told me he had to order parts but never heard from him. He had no interest in fixing what meinkie messed up in the first place. Dont completely trust their warranty policy!!!

I received air conditioning work that didnt fix anything. I was told by the employee that they didnt do a good job and that I would receive a refund and a call back when it went through. I never received a refund or a call back. When I called in to ask for an explanation, the man told me that even though it was their fault, his manager said that I would receive no refund on the work for which I paid and offered me no further explanation.

Very poor customer service we ask to talk to the manager we was told that hes unavailable and was handed a number we should call which should help us with our issue, when I got home to call this number, I noticed that she gave me a wrong number the number she gave me was to find me a meineke.
