Amazing experience! Loved Dr.Wood for my exam. Was quick and very detailed. Had so much help picking out my new glasses. They took the time to look up my benefits and explain the best way to use my benefits for contacts and glasses.Can’t wait to go back next year!

From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. I was greeted nicely by all of the staff. The doctor and the staff were very professional and personable. The doctor took her time to make sure that I understood everything and was very thorough. After my exam, the staff took the time to help me pick out new glasses and case. I would definitely recommend Vision Works for your future vision needs.

Took all 4 kids (ages 12,10, 8, & 5) at.the.same.time!!!! They were amazing. They made each kid feel special picking them out and teaching them about how to take care of their glasses. They gave me specific insurance details so I could make the right decision for each of my kids needs. Will recommend to everyone!

I highly recommend this place! I was nervous about getting glasses for the first time, but Stephanie Watkins was the best at helping me. She walked me through the process & helped me find the perfect frames. I took my daughter there a month later to have her eyes checked & get her glasses.

I asked for a trial pair of contacts to use for one day and the doctor was very very rude about giving me the contact. She finally agreed but did not give me the prescription release and now they are closed. Im trying to get the informatiom from the company.

Wow!! Vision works was so helpful!! I got the cutest frames for the lowest price! One of the workers named Asmaa helped me so much. They truly have the BEST staff who go above and beyond for their customers! I will always go back!!

I went to Americas Best because they had a promotional offer. It was a totally let down. I regretted that I tried somewhere new when all a long I had the best. Vision works has never disappointed me and they provide excellent services. They are sometimes very busy casing wait times but other then that, great in my opinion.

I went in for an eye exam and my prescription did change so I did need to get new glasses. The process was a little painful at the time since the staff did not know of any way of identifying larger size frames outside of reading the size on every frame or if by chance the brand had a label of ‘XL” on the lens. During the frame process a good customer service oriented business would make an effort to understand the style and frame I was looking for and provide assistance in finding those type of frames that would best fit me, instead the Vision Works associate returned to her desk and with another associate began to identify what new brands they were going to bring into the store on the next shipment.Once I had the frames I was going to go with, I returned to the associate who was still looking at new brands to bring into the store. We begin the last steps of the selection process and identified the lenses that would work best for my work environment and when the order was finalized I was told I could pick up the glasses at the store on December 3rd.On December 2nd I returned to the store with my daughter to pick up her glasses that she ordered the day after I ordered mine and I asked the person working at the desk if my glasses were still scheduled to arrive by December 3rd. When the associate checked the order status she told me it was still in their lab and there is no estimated delivery date so it could be an anywhere from a day to 2 weeks. I was not happy to hear this and requested that the manager give me a call on the third to provide me with a firm ETA.On December 3rd before closing I called the store since I had not been called to speak with the manager and learned that she had already left. The associate check on my order and told me that it “should” be back in the store by the 8th of December if everything went well. Still not happy I asked again to have the manager to call me when she returned on December 4th.December 4th, at 4 PM I decided to call the corporate customer service to see if they would be able to provide me an update on the status of my order, why the manager refuses to call, and how to get a refund. The only thing the customer service rep at the corporate level could do is contact the local store to see if she could get a supervisor or manager and ask about the status of my order. When the CSR returned to the call with a supervisor from the store I was told they had joined the line and the supervisor from the store asked me what she could do for me. Everything I had already told the CSR I wanted answers for was never rely to the store. When I told them I wanted a refund they did start the process and at the end of it I was informed since I used my Health Spending Account card the money would need to go back on the card and it would take up to thirty days to process.So at the end of the call I am out the 300 dollars for the glasses for at least 30 days or more and of course still no glasses.I DO NOT RECOMMEND using VISION WORKS for any eye care need, you are better off going to a competitor who at least may have decent customer service if not better selection and wait times to get your glasses.

Went here today for the first time. They was very nice and overall explained everything. If you have 2 appt though make sure you let them know off the back so they wont be caught off gaurd. I had me and my son appointment 15 min apart but after that it was smooth sailing and I will definitely be back!! Great selection and you do t have to wonder about price because its in the glasses no surprise payments!!

I was initially skeptical of Dr. Wood. However, she gave me great advice on how to better care for my eyes and contacts. I applied her wisdom, and four weeks later, I saw a huge improvement. She definitely knows her stuff, and I sincerely recommend her.

Ive been a Visionworks customer for many years in different states where Ive lived, and their customer service spirit is exceptional. The staff, manager, and doctors are extremely welcoming and friendly. Having said that, never have I had more trouble with finalizing payment for glasses than with the Fairview Heights store.My credit card was charged three times for my daughters glasses (and they were NOT cheap by the way.)The sales person helping me said she was having trouble running my card and kept swiping it (and assured me that multiple charges would not take place.)Well, my card was charge three times. I discovered this when I went to the grocery store later that day and HAD NO MONEY!My conversation with the managers at the Fairview Heights store about these multiple charges was frustrating because they kept blaming acomputer issue. Visionworks, from what I could understand from the managers I spoke with, has to work with another payment processing site to process payments and the managers kept telling me the problem was with a computer issue.I believe the problem was with the salesperson swiping my card multiple times... and the computer will process whatever you enter into it!Eventually the two extra payments were refunded.IF, and thats a BIG IF, I ever return to Visionworks... Ill bring cash.

Waste of time and money!!!!I went to Visionworks to replace my lenses in my glasses with my current prescription. Over a series of a few weeks, every time I wore those glasses, my eyes hurt and I got bad migraines. As if it wasnt the right prescription. I even went to multiple doctors who told me nothing is wrong with my eyes. So I went back to Visionworks and explained that I could tell a difference between the lenses I purchased from them and a separate pair of glasses with the same prescription, filled elsewhere. They said they ran some tests and found the 2 pairs to be identical in prescription and distance. When I said they must be mistaken, they argued with me. I then asked if I could just get a refund for those lenses since theyre now useless. Thats when she told me in the process of this testing, she broke my frames. Her response was Oops. Nothing we can do about it. So not only were my lenses wrong, but now I have a broken (expensive) pair of glasses. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN.

EVERYTIME my husband goes here, or I even call to refill a prescription, they make it impossible. The staff is clueless and must double check everything they do with someone else. The price is outrageous, they lose your orders, or they ALWAYS have trouble processing your payments. The only thing keeping us at vision works is the fact we cant get into another eye doctor right away and VISION WORKS REFUSES TO GIVE US HIS PRESCRIPTION INFORMATION that way they insure we are stuck dealing with their awful customer service and outrageous prices.

Bunch of IDIOTS!!!! came in for an eye exam and was told that its a 15 minute wait and i didnt need an appointment. i waited 45 minutes and come to find out they forgot all about me and they didnt do anything about it except ask me if i wanted to make an appointment for another day. do not come here they have a bunch of incompetent people working there. this establishment should just go out of business
