Wouldnt honor coupons they sent me. Didnt have them at the time of purchase so I decided I was going to delay purchasing anything until I brought the coupons back. But instead I was dealing with a anything goes salesperson that insisted that I get the sale item now and bring the coupons back for a price adjustment.....never honored it. Then I get a call from the company stating they would like to make it right by offering me coupons to use NEXT time I purchase something. Thats not making it right. Thats making me spend more to get something NEXT time. What about THIS time?
Jareds is a great place to purchase your next or even your first jewelry piece. The treatment from entering their door to finishing your purchase is excellent, along with the quality of what they sell.
My resent visit to Jareds to get my bracelet repaired was awesome, the Jewelry consultant was very knowledgeable and quickly processed my item and was on my way. I recommend Bill and Jared for all your jewelry purchases.
Have traveled over an hour to the fairview heights location only to discover that the store is closed. Rumor has it they have no staff. I have called several times..no answer. Guess I will be traveling elsewhere to have my ring inspection done.
My consultant was very helpful and kind. He let me try on several pieces, cleaned and disinfected each piece without complaint and gave me guidance on which piece might best suit me. The whole experience was ver enjoyable and I would go back for my next purchases as well.
I received top notch customer service on my visit to Jared at the Fairview Heights location on June 16th. The whole staff was eager to help and made me feel valued from the time I stepped into the store to the time I left.
I purchased a ring before Valentine’s Day.The ring had to be ordered to correct size and I was told I could pick it up in two weeks. Almost 5 weeks later, the ring has not arrived. I have called a couple of times only to be told it has not come in yet. This has been frustrating. In my opinion, good customer service would have called to inform me of the delay, the reason for the delay and try to assure me (the customer) they are doing whatever they can to get my jewelry to me as soon as possible. They have offered nothing only to tell me it has not arrived yet. When I asked them to track the ring and let me know where the ring is coming from, they need to call me back once they get the information. Computer should be able to track the jewelry . I am disappointed by the experience and lack of customer service. I purchased two things that day, they should have been more realistic with the time frame of the order.
THIEFS...Double billed us for a watch cleaning, then would not help us with getting a credit. They told us to deal with the credit card. They lowered my credit rating when I refused to pay. I had to file a FRAUD statement with the credit card co to get my credit reinstated. I wonder how many people dont check their bill and get totally ripped off by Kay Jeweler. DONT GO HERE
The manager Kevin is so helpful! The alton store has messed up my ring FOUR times to the point that I didnt even have the same ring my husband proposed with. Kevin went above and beyond to ensure my ring was fixed exactly how I wanted it and made sure it was back before my wedding. Its very hard to find excellent customer service anymore, but he was truly excellent.
Extremely pushy and threw fits when we 1. Wouldnt sign in and 2. Give our names. We were just looking and we expressed this multiple times. When they asked for our names and I said no thank you, the sales lady huffed and stomped away like a toddler. Not professional whatsoever! We will never step foot in their store again.
The Fairview Heights location has been nothing but problems. The assistant manager Rick is dishonest and very poor in inspection of simple details in jewelry. We have had very bad luck with this location. We have been in there for little diamonds falling out of my engagement ring on two occasions. We live an hour away. Both times we have wasted gas driving there to see that the diamonds were replaced with milky ones compared to what I had before. We ordered a custom wedding enhancer from them stupidly in September. The wax came back with the pattern on the side reversed from the way it should have been. This should have been caught before we were called. We came in and noticed this mistake within minutes. Other than this it was perfect. So they sent it back to be fixed. He was there this day. We get a phone call everything looks great and that it was going in to be officially made because it was correct from him. So thinking everything will go OK now we wait and wait and no phone call. I call to see what the status was after about a month and the wax was still sitting at the store. So the girl I talked to had it sent over to the manufacturer asap. When I say over, I mean over to China. Already very upset with the way things were going we get a phone call finally in January the ring was done and looks beautiful and everything lined up. We get over there to pick it up very excited because I hadnt had my engagement ring in 5 months. We are there for only minutes and take my ring out of the enhancer to see how it lined up and the pattern on both sides is completely wrong!!! He inspected it himself. Assumed I might like it even though that is why it was sent back in the first place!! Long story short the place is very dissapointing and we will not be going back and I recommend not stepping foot into there.
Why cant a guy go into a jewelry store and just be left alone to look for something for his wife. Especially when he makes it clear he just wants to be left alone. Not gonna happen here for sure.
Went in to look at a ring and he told me about a sale on the 20th saying I would save about $500. When I called the next day to tell him Im gonna buy the ring since I can save $500 he then changed it to $100 so he could get a better commission. I never went back in after that. Love getting lied to my face

Called in to check whenever a cleaning was due for a ring that I purchased and they said that its up to the customer to know whenever that is supposed to occur, whenever they can look it up for me and I dont remember the exact month that I purchased it.
