I was leaving out of the car wash when my tire pressure indicator came on and said that my tire was almost flat. Luckily there was a Discount Tire right across the street.I drove my car over and went inside where I was greeted quickly. The store was quite busy but they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment. Since it would take a couple hours I decided to leave my vehicle there and come back to get it.Within about 30 minutes of me being at home that they called to tell me that my vehicle was ready. I was all smiles, especially with all the things that I needed to do that afternoon.The part I need it was at a great price and the service was impeccable. I will definitely be going to this location moving forward.

Bad experience… had my tires balanced but the technician put my lugs on crooked…. Well customer service was awesome! They quickly sent my vehicle to be repaired and apologized for the mistake. Mistakes happen that’s why I pray every morning! Never know when you gone have a troubled day.

On their busiest day they got me in because I had an emergency and did not feel safe driving with my leaking tire. In my opinion, THE BEST discount tire. Ive tried other discount tire but this BY FAR has the BEST customer service and super helpful.

Got some great Cooper tires here in May 2020. Took back for free rotation and balancing. Great service. Gives you confidence. These tires are sooo much better than the mfgr put on my 2016 Renegade. Very pleased all the way around.Now, May, 2021.. woke to tire with 25 psi, v s. 35, took to Discount Tire....took me right away, fixed it, balanced it, free...all included as I bought the tires there. Cant beat it👍👍👍

We had tire trouble a long way from home and came here for help. The staff was courteous, helpful, and very kind. They got our problem fixed in a timely manner, and we were back on the road. If we lived in the area, we would definitely come here again when we needed tires.

I have been buying tires from Discount Tire for over 30 years: the main reason; Road Hazard Certificates. When traveling around the US I do not want to have to worry about tires! It is extremely important to note that I had my tires rotated 4 days earlier at a different Discount Tire location - they didnt seem right the minute I pulled out of the driveway, but, since I had an appointment to get to, I decided to make appointment to have them rechecked a few days later. There are only 20,000 miles on these tires. After about 5 hours of research on the internet about tire noise I decided I would leave early for my appointment that day and checked and adjusted tire pressure in the front tires and took a 5 mile drive west on I-696. I got off on Orchard Lake rd and was going to turn around when I saw a Discount Tire! AND with no one waiting in line!Vince directed me into the bay and proceeded to rebalance all 4 tires- ALL 4 TIRES WERE OUT OFF BALANCE FROM THE OTHER LOCATION! Vince and the manager, Dustin were wonderful to deal with! I have found the only location in the area that I will buy tires from and have serviced in the future!

I phoned the store the day before explained my issue, booked an appt.4the next morning @ 10:30am.Discount Tire removed my front right tire approx.10:50am.Found metal shard, all 4 tires had 2b replaced, I was shown all the reasons why replacement was needed! I went inside the empty showroom w/employee,Dustin, I spoke w/Dustin on the phone the previous am. He listened to my $$ limits 2 spend, offered me options to purchase a# of different $$ and quality. Financing options were offered. The problem now, the store used to have a large staff, office staff and technicians in the work bays.No longer is their office staff, thus Dustin performs all functions to sell, repair install,handle customer paperwork w/filthy filthy hands due to tire installation.Thus receiving paperwork is undesirable. All in all Discount Tire will still be my store of choice. Covid has changed everything world wide. Pls. Vaccination, masks, social distancing is required to live on planet earths VIRULENT DANGEROUS WORLD.PLS.PROTECT ONE AND ALL LIVING CREATURES AND YOUR FELLOW HUMANS.

Kevin is a bad salesperson and has no customer service. I asked for my 2 front tires to be replaced and I was aware I had a broken stud. Was called and informed when taking the wheel off there was a stripped lug and it would need to be fixed. I agreed and told Kevin I had arrangements. Then began talking to me that it could be dangerous and so on and I agreed and told him I was aware and been driving like that for 1000s of miles. Then he ended his professional phone call with we will discuss the rest when you pick up the car. Saw my car and the new tires were on the back when I requested to be on the front considering it is a front wheel drive car. When I arrived another employee, do not recall his name, greeted me already knowing who I was upon entering and proceeded with, “All I got for you is it needs fixed” I said I understand but would of likes the tires put on the front as I requested. The employee began telling me that they didn’t put them on the front cause they were worried they were going to break a stud but didn’t get the okay to proceed doing the opposite of what I asked for. I would of taken my business somewhere else of got the problem taken car of before getting new tires

My tire only needed a patch but they were trying to replace it completely. But they called me saying there is a hole on the side although I just checked them with honda and they were perfect. The hole looked new and looked someone did it with a knife intentionally while putting the patch. The worst place ever. Will never come back and do not recommend it

These guys are really willing to work with you. Make sure you get the tire road hazard warranty. It is worth it. Michigan roads pretty much leave you needing it. Their customer service is excellent

I had a leak in my tire and I took my car to my dealer who said there’s a screw in the tire and I need to replace the tire for $270. I took my car to Discount Tire and they were amazing, they showed me the problem and they fixed it without charging me a penny! After this experience why would I go buy new tires anywhere else but Discount tires when they showed such amazing customer service.

This pandemic has caused a lot of stress for so many, including myself. Today on my way to work my tire went flat due to a nail and was stressing hard as I didn’t have much money and was on a time crunch. They got me in ASAP and started working on my car immediately. Andrew helped me out and was seriously an angel for helping me with this and I appreciate everyone’s help!! Will be recommending them to everyone!!

Brought in my classic car and they handled it with due care. Exceeded my expectations. I liked Discount tire before but love this location. Made appt., sat on my car, came and got me, pulled in, serviced right away and I was on my way burning rubber again.

This was the fastest tire changed Ive experienced! It took just over 30 minutes from the time I drove up!! They beat an already good quote I received by $60 and then, I also received a $70 rebate from the manufacturer. Friendly techs as well!! Definitely highly recommend and my go to from now on!

I am very sorry to write this because the people in the store seemed very nice but I have to report what happened when I took in a tire to repair a flat. I was told that they couldnt fix it because it had already been repaired and the repair was failing. I didnt remember having a flat in the past so I took the car to another garage where they found a small nail and fixed it. WTF???

The service person could have explained the warranties, I had to ask. Upon leaving, I saw a AAA sticker, I have AAA, was there a discount? The service was good. I didnt feel like I was a valued customer.

This is the first chance Ive had to get my summer tires on my husbands car as weve been stuck in Canada because of the coronavirus. These men that work here deserve a vacation for continuing on in this crazy heatwave.Thank you so much for showing up and helping people like me who have no idea how to switch over tires.

On the busiest day of the year, first snowstorm and everything, service was great. The guys had such a backup that they had to stay until midnight to get it all done. What a great staff. I do wish the system would send out a text for weather conditions that would make my wait longer, or a text when they start my vehicle instead of just when it is done.

I made an appointment I needed 4 tires I knew of at least 3 they were honest and gave me an appropriate price for 3. I still need 1 more. I will go again excellent service.

High compliments to the team at the 12 mile road store in Farmington Hills, MI. As I was leaving work last night, I hit a pothole on the roadway as I exited the parking lot. Damaged my front right tire. Naturally my day is ruined but I was able to creep 3 miles towards home and came to the 12 mile store per my husbands recommendation. Alex Phelps waited on me. He was very pleasant, extremely helpful, and guided me to make a comfortable decision on replacing the tires on my car. The price was very reasonable and my wait time was fine. The store closed at 6PM but what impressed me most was when an older couple came in at 6:12 pm and they were given such honorable service. The husband was in a wheelchair and I overhead them pleading for help as they had been given poor service at two other tire companies. I was absolutely impressed with the teams willingness to assist them even though the store was closed. Please pass along to the team what a great job they did on Monday, 2/12/18. This was my first experience with Discount Tire and I will definitely be back for future service. I really appreciate the great customer service..

Tried coming here to get new tires. The first salesman to help me was helpful and knew I was shopping around. He quoted me some prices which were fine and I left. I came back after looking at other places, and this salesman only wanted to push their #2 tire for my car. After I told him I didnt want that and I wanted something else, he proceeded to tell me that they arent capable of printing receipts in the store (I watched another man print a receipt. Everything works fine) and if I wanted service I would have to make an appointment. Never going here for service.

Exceptional hardworking team! With the first snowy week of winter, they were incredibly busy, working till midnight in this cold weather to get all the cars done! Thankful for all the professional and great work they do to help us drive safer this winter.

After blowing a tire on the highway from Detroit on our way home to Lansing, we pulled into Discount Tire on a donut. Elliott went out of his way to get our tire replaced as quickly as possible, despite there being many other customers waiting. We had considered driving the rest of the way home, but Elliott told us he would not feel right about it if we did. He even called another location when it turned out they didnt have the necessary tire on hand. Overall an excellent, fairly priced experience enhanced by a caring employee.

My tire kept losing air. I stopped in at lunch to see if someone could look at it. I waited in line for 10+ minutes while their two sales people helped other people and answered the phone. Finally someone acknowledged me. I told him that I was on my lunch and in a hurry. I couldnt be more clear. He took his time walking out to look at my car and then said he didnt know why it was losing air. He said I could get some air to get me through and come back (since I couldnt leave the car) but had to wait in line, at this point behind two cars. There was no one in the van in front of me and no one filling the tires. I waited another 10 minutes and finally left. I will never go back to the Farmington Hills location! Their hours are terrible and they were not helpful! Novi, however, rocks. They are very helpful, seem to be cognizant of peoples time and were nice and professional! Thankfully I made it to Saturday. Seriously no late hours during the week? Ridiculous!

I came here in the middle of a Michigan winter with a large crack in one of my tires, just as the store was getting ready to close up. There was a handful of people in the lobby who were waiting for their cars to be finished. I walked right up to the counter and someone helped me immediately, walked with me to my car and I barely had to wait 30 minutes before my tire was replaced. The worker offered me an option to protect the tire with their care plan, but I declined, and he was not pushy like a lot of other sales people might be.I was so relieved that they didnt push me away and that they were attentive from the moment I walked in. Im sure Ill return should the need ever recur.

Bought all 4 of my Nitto Motivo Performance tires here and never had an issue. Always fast and quick and affordable service!! Reaching out before you come to get more info on what you want to buy as well as scheduling an appointment to get the service done seems to be the best option! Either or theyre great!One technician also pulled me to the back to let me know that I needed a new Wheel as it was bent, which TROY AUTO CARE never did after my car was in a small accident.Thanks to everyone there!! Great turnaround times if you have appointment. However, cars I have brought over for tire rotation this last few timse, the valve cover is loose on one side and I lose one of two valve cover every time. WHY ???? Its not that hard to tighten it. Happened to every car the last time.

Been coming here for a while (because its close to home) so maybe the fact that Ive purchased here before meant I got better service BUT... I came in with a nail in my tire (8am). They fixed the tire for free, put it back on the car, put the spare back in the trunk and I was out of there within 30 minutes, even though there were 4 people in front of me when the doors opened.They did make some recommendations for new tires as mine were running a little low, but no pressure after I asked them just to fix the tire.

I normally take all my tire business to this store. It is convenient, friendly, and fair I was not happy with my latest visit. 9/15/18. I was considering replacing the front tires on my car. I will be trading in this car in the spring, so I was considering economy tires. When they didnt have exactly what I was looking for, I was ready to leave, and make the decision another day. The salesman (Mike) offered me a higher priced tire for the price of the economy tire, to keep me from walking out the door. The savings was $20 per tire, so I agreed. When I came to get my car, it had the low price tire, not the one that he had offered. I was checked out by a different salesperson, and I didnt feel like spending the emotional capital, or additional time to make sure Mike knew I felt he had cheated me. Mike, you win today, but I will not be coming back to Discount Tire in the fall to put 4 new tires on my other vehicle. I will shop somewhere else.

Excellent service every time I use this store. Really whenever I use any discount tire I really appreciate the customer service. When I frequent Bell Tire not pleasant always act if to overwhelmed to be pleasant or polite cold short answers if they can not assist you. Also, Im not just saying this I have written reviews on the lack of professionalism from Belle tire that I received on numerous occasions.

Great place, the service is awesome, the staff is fast, friendly, professional, and will talk to you about what they are doing, why something can/cannot be done. They will also go out of their way (picked up a tire after hours in personal vehicle for me) to help you. Oh, and they will price match tire rack and other places. Recently I have to go mostly for the air check. First they dont acknowledge you. You have to stay in the line at least 15 to 20 minutes. If no one ahead of you still sometimes it takes 10 minutes. Parking structure have little potholes as well so you have to be careful with it

Slow and with their free air check...took forever. I even called ahead but still took a walk into the building and wait to get someones attention. Service at this location has gone downhill for quite some time. They always seem overbooked. Always at least an hour or more on any type of service where they actually have to do more than fill the air in the tires.

This used to be a great location, but in the last couple of years, it went downhill - horrible service, rip-off artists. I used to service all my cars here and probably went through 10 different sets of tires in the last 10 years until recent management change. Recently, both the first hand experience and what I heard from my coworkers was just just horrible. Walked in at 10am to get my winter/summer tires swapped. One set of tires was purchased from Discount Tire, the other set is original. Store was almost empty with a couple people waiting. Nobody at the register. Andrew walked in from the shop, didnt acknowledge my presence at the counter at all, then 2-3 minutes later asked me whats up?. How about a Good morning or Ill be with you in a second. I told him that I need my winter/summer tires swapped, after 2 minutes of silence of him looking up my purchases in the computer, he said it will be $216! $216 to get 18 tires swapped - he explained it as its a BMW (3-series), $15 to dismount, $15 to mount, $19 to balance and $5 run-flat fee. Seriously??! Separate fee for dismount and mount? Did he pull it out of his behind? He said it with a douchy arrogant smirk too. I just said OK and walked out - shocked by this treatment and the rip-off price. Went to Belle Tire and paid $79 for the exact same job. It sucks because this place used to be my go-to place for tires - had the same exact same swap done many times before and paid $19.Coworker had exact same experience - you drive an expensive car, you should expect to pay more... what the hell kind of BS logic is that? I am hoping its just Andrew and his attitude and not the store policy...

I had my car towed to this place on a Sunday gave them a call first thing Monday morning at 8:00am to get ONE tire exchanged due to my warranty. I spoke with someone he said he’ll get on it right away and give me a call back. 3 hours later never got a call back so I decided to call and couldn’t get through for hours. Finally 5:30 comes around and I speak with someone who told me to come in at 8pm after their hours and my car would be ready. Now we’re 13 hrs into the day and my car is still not ready. I arrived at 9pm giving extra time and when I arrived they told me to wait another 45 mins. So now it’s 10pm the day is completely over and I wasn’t able to go to work because of the inconveniences. Personally I would never come back to this discount tire location due to the inconsiderate attitudes and how long it took to exchange one tire. Absolutely worst experience ever!
