Not a store I frequent but something must have changed since previous negative reviews. Stopped by yesterday and was immediately greeted upon entering; and very pleasantly. I initially turned down assistance but when needed, I was pleased to receive additional help from two employees only too happy to assist me. Am pleased Ultra has remained open here in Farmingto, NM in spite of the pandemic.

The lady employees rather its the managers, their attitudes are like sour lemons. This store shows NO positivity to the people who help keep these doors open, The Customers. You want to be pretty, one should learn to treat people with respect.

They had what I was looking for and able to get a color match that a consultant helped with.

I love the selection and the girls always seem to match my foundation just right. I love shopping at Ulta

They always have in stock what I need. The service was great and the store and bathroom was very clean. I would recommend having paper towels and at least a trash can. It is not sanitary to wash your hands then open the bathroom door. Most people I know, use a paper towel to open the door. I had to use tissue and there was no trash to throw it in and toilet was too far from door to throw way. Had to leave on your floor. Hated to do that, but get a trash can.

I had my hair done at the salon it was very expensive but well worth it. Alyssa is Awesome!. I love their sales. The rewards system is amazing. I bought 4 BedHead curling wands for the price of 2. The midnight mermaid set that was originally 30 I got for 14.99 which was an amazing deal. watch their ads. It is well worth it!

I stopped by this evening knowing that the store was going to close within 14 minutes, and even a store associate named Diana had told us. I knew what I wanted and I had every intention of making a quick purchase. Minutes later, Diana told us again that they were closing in 10 minutes at that point I was like “ok, you just told me not too long ago what time you were closing and then again? I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere since it seems to be a problem that I came in late.” She told us how the mall security guy will chase us out. The way o see it is, she chases us out before closing time. Now I’ve worked in a as restaurant for years, and I have never treated me guest like that because they chose to spend money there and that’s how she should have looked at it. I went to Sephora and got the help that I needed, nobody reminded me of when they were going to close, and I was outta there in 10 minutes. Now maybe the store associates should help there customers and then maybe wed me outta there quicker instead of looking for someone to help us. Thank you Diana, I will be closing my credit card here and will start shipping at Sephora more. Customer service is a big suggestion for the store associates at this location because her attitude reflected the entire store..

The management called my boss and complained because she didnt feel my dieing husbands well being was a good enough reason for not coming in and updating theyre cosmetic wall for them on a certain day. I choose to quit my job so I never have to step foot in this store ever again.

I love shopping at Ulta. I love this location. I decided to check out the salon today to get my haircut and I DO NOT regret it!!! Nate- my hairdresser did an AMAZING job. Professional, friendly. My hair looks and feels great. I will definitely be extending my trips to Ulta to be more than just beauty.

Well place my first oder with Ulta and I thinknmy last..Promo advised free gift with $70 purchase online..So my order was 85.00..the free gift did not show up so I assumed I would recieve what was available at the time of shipping..I called to follow up and get this I am supposed to add to cart..wait what? How can I add something that never showed to be added? And get this Ulta wont add item either...So disappointed..thought Ulta better than than that...

I don’t know much about skin care routines and needed information going in today. Diana approached us and helped me so much! She was very knowledgeable about natural products for eczema and had such positive energy.

Have never received any help at this ulta. The employees don’t even bother to greet you or show you where a product is (if they even know the product you need is). It’s not hard to be friendly nor is it a huge or difficult task taking two minutes to show someone who is interested in your products where one is so they can purchase it. Sephora is 10 steps away and actually has customer service.

I have shopped here several times. Was disappointed in service & helpfulness. I went today & was more than pleasantly surprised. A pretty, sweet, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful associate, Ashley, is a definite asset to this location.She greeted me as soon as I walked into the store. Very knowledgeable of products and very helpful.

Rude staff

Went there for a haircut had great customer service. I was greated right when I walked into the store. Employees were very helpful and knowledgeable about helping me find my wife a Mothers Day gift. Very clean and organized. Made suggestions and told me about all the free gifts available with my purchase. Would definitely recommend

I absolutely love Ulta as a company they have really good prices and products. I do not however love this location Sam the manager is very rude has been everytime Ive gone in there. Everyone needs to get on the same page of the Rule Book if one of you tells a customer something honor it!! Its more convenient to go into a store buy the product and have it right then but I would much rather go online and paying a shipping charge and wait a little while then deal with the people who work here!

Love the salon always clean and the girls are friendly. Adrienne is the best a hair unicorn if you will i brought her a picture of a hair color that was close to impossible to get and she managed to achieve it! My hair is also way healthier thanks to her

Since the store has opened I have only been there 4 times, each time I went in I felt uncomfortable. Not once was I helped and when I did ask for help it seemed to be a burden. So I stopped going there. Well I decided yesterday to go in and hope someone could help me with foundation and the associate Lacon was super super helpful! She made me feel comfortable and not nervous to ask for help. She was amazing and made up for the past few times I have been there. Her service was the best and I will be returning to the store for her advice and service.

I went in just for a couple of things, and ended up getting an hour long facial. It was great!!!! Vivien took care of me and she was amazing, she showed me different products for my skin type she didnt rush she took the time to help me figure out what I needed. And she was very professional. I will definitely be back soon!!! Pricing was reasonable

One star for the salon. Girl was suppose to bayalage my hair and she ruined it . It turned orange plus I asked for a specific hair cut and style but she didnt come close to what I wanted. I do not recommend this place for any hair salon services. The store itself has a good variety of cosmetics and hair products.

2 expensive and no one knows anything

Apparently the folks who work at this ulta beauty dont understand what theft is. Or how to accuse the right person. Or that using a dumpster you dont pay for can have legal repercussions.My husband has been accused of stealing trash out of a dumpster. My husband does not steal things, let alone garbage make up. He and I dont wear it and have no use for it.Maybe you should look into the gaggles of females that work in the mall daily. Or the customers that have public access to the dumpster, that you dont pay for. Just because a person has to be near the dumpsters frequently to do their job, doesnt mean theyre the ones taking things.According to the Supreme Court case of California vs. Greenwood, dumpster diving is not illegal. So when you do finally figure out who it was good luck with pressing charges.One last bit of advice: Id be careful not to accuse too many people, defamation of character lawsuits can be expensive.*Oh yeah, you may want to ask your employees why theyre throwing away perfectly working, expensive flat irons.

Never been to an ulta where the employees are as rude as the ones at this location. I have never had a good experience at this ulta and Ive been to it several times. When you ask for help you get a very rude look from the employees like theyre annoyed with having to do THEIR JOB. You practically have to beg someone to help you in this store. I mean come on Is it that hard to find decent employees who are actually happy to help customers?

Great selection, I just wish the employees were more helpful. I was buying a new full set of make up and I had to practically beg to have each product put on me so I could see the completed look.

This is the best Ulta..I’ve lived in Denver, El Paso and more. Employee Lakyn is a sweetheart and super knowledgeable. My mom has had her eyebrows done by Val and she took her time to teach my mom how to fill them in. One time I had a return issue but the managers made sure I left happy.

I scheduled 3 appointments here for my wedding a month in advance. Two days before my wedding I get a call confirming my 1 appointment, I corrected the lady letting her know it was actually 3 appointments myself and my two bridesmaids. She stumbles over her words then says ok, we will see you tomorrow. I say ok thank you it’s at 1 right? She responds with no we rescheduled it for 12 due to scheduling issues, I politely agree and let her know I’ll see them Saturday. The following day I get another call that’s says they only have two girls to work on all of us so we all need to show up at the same time and we will just have to wait until they will get to one of us. I again say ok frustrated but say thank you. I then get worried and go into Ulta to speak to someone to clarify everything. At this point I’m told they have again rescheduled my appointments and the last one will be at 3:45. Enter panic mode, I explain to this woman my wedding is it 4:30 and there is no way this will work and expressed my frustration with all the changes the company took upon themselves to make without even letting me know times had been rescheduled and changed even though I had made this appointment a month prior with specific instructions it was for my wedding and what time we needed to be done but I received no apology instead was told to just show up the next day and that’s all. I leave feeling completly defeated but at this point it’s the day before my wedding I have no other choice. At 7:30 that night I received another call from them telling me I have to be there at 10:30 in order to get all of us taken care of in time because the other girl helping her is brand new. Less than 24 hrs before my wedding day they drop this on me. I ask her about our hair because we had appointments for 3 full makeup’s and three hairstyles and want to make sure that the two of us that are using clip in extensions will still be ok and was told we can try but the girl that specializes in those had an emergency and wasn’t gonna be there. This woman wanted me and my girls to show up at 10:30 in the morning to have all of this done in time for a 4:30 wedding so explain that it isn’t going to work because that’s to early, hair will go flat and our makeup won’t be right for the wedding. All I was given was well that’s the best we can do. Mind you all of this was going to cost roughly 350 dollars. I was completely devastated and had no idea what we were going to do at this point. Luckily the Dillard’s girls were able to take us all as well Regis was able to do our hair, thankfully my amazing husband who went out at 8 at night to fix the mess Ulta had made. Take what you will from this review but use caution when trying to schedule appointments with them especially for any special occasion.

I was quite scared to trying a new place due to my original hair stylist retiring from her buisness. So after I did some review checking, like you are now, I found Adrian @Ulta Hair Salon, with some of the best reviews dedicated to her. I made my appointment and the whole process was very professional and easy, they also text and call you two days before your appointment which is also nice. Once Adrian was cutting my hair it was an experience that everyone should have. She primarily asked you what you were looking for and what you wanted, I also showed her pictures to get a better understanding. But as she did her thing, she simply made you feel like family, and so did the other hair stylists and employees in the business. Whenever she would do a small change to your hair she would say “okay do you like that or would you like more” and then she would give her opinion and professional advice, of being the manager of ulta salon and having many many many prior years of experience. And most importantly SHE LISTENED!! Adrian will listen to what you want, exactly to the T. She doesn’t stray from what you’ve asked her to do like many hair stylists here in Farmington. But to wrap this up, she has an amazing talent and buisness and employees working with her, and I will be coming back to get my services done here. :)

Always find just what I am looking for

Costumer service was horrible. When I finally did find somebody to help me, she basically said she had no clue about the bare minerals make up that they sell, what color I should use or what might work for me, and walked away. I ended up standing there staring at the new products wishing somebody would help me. Instead I ended up calling the bare minerals store in Albuquerque, and told the lady on the phone the types of makeup in front of me and she explained them to me, but also said I would need to do a makeup match to find the right color. to bad there was no one around to help or acknowledge me. Needless to say it looks like I will be traveling to Albuquerque tomorrow in order to get the same makeup I could have got here, had I been able to get someone willing to help me. Super disappointed. I wouldnt suggest going here unless you already know what you need and dont need help.

Employees waltz around not making eye contact with customers. One person works the register with seven customers standing in line. This is why I shop the Internet.

This is absolutely ridiculous.... they should put more people at the check out and less people wondering around doing nothing! Every time I come here o have to wait forever to check out, IF there’s anyone at the check out because sometimes it’s completely empty! And I mean empty with no employees at the check out at all.
