The military discount is great, but you have to contact them every 3 months to let them know you’re still enlisted/retired so they can reapply it. That’s annoying, and it’s almost like they do it in hopes of you forgetting so they get more money. Their prices go up every 6 months or so, and sometimes they’ll send an email about it…sometimes they won’t. I had issues a few times with my discount not being applied, even though I reached out every 3 months to ensure it was attached to my account. It wouldn’t have been a huge deal, except we are station overseas and had to pay international call fees every time to get it fixed.

I asked her to show me the different units physically and she was happy to do so. Worst location upto date. Second time coming here being completely taken advantage off and long story short any credit card saved on file this location will charge whatever they please without alerting the individual. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Sadly one location can make a franchise look horrible.

Very friendly and helpful. Parking lot is a little small, so plan drop off of large trucks accordingly. If you are towing a trailer, go to the left and save yourself from having to back the trailer back out.

This is absolutely the worst Service I have ever experienced. The storage was not cleaned. Puddles of water around storage. Cars, vehicles, parked any kind of way. Most importantly the Service. Management terrible. Would never store anything there.

The staff was very polite and was able to assist with all my questions and concerns. They even made sure to ask if I understood my lease and if I had any questions.These ladies are awesome. I chose this location after visiting it. I believe people leave bad reviews because they don’t read their lease thoroughly or didn’t listen while it was being explained. These people are rip offs! THEY tell you one price, with a so call 10% discount, and then come up with ridiculous extra charges through the month!! I havent made it through my 1st month with them! Please be advised and beware!!!! And customer service is very very rude might I add....

I am extremely satisfied with the assistance I received from StoreSmart Self Storage. I spoke with Paul (regional manager) about a billing concern and he was very kind and attentive. Paul and the local staff resolved the issue quickly and I strongly recommend them.

Lance the Facility Manager runs a top notch location. He says he is a one stop shop and he is not kidding, If can’t find items needed to move or store you are not looking. Lance treated my wife as if she was the only customer in store at the time ( 2 other people in store). I really appreciate the home town feel that Lance showed and provided. Definitely 5 stars and will recommend to anyone needing storage or moving needs. Keep up the A+ service.

Have been with this storage facility for 6 straight years, even when it was Hope Mills Mini Storage. During the covid pandemic my monthly rent suddenly went from $144 to $216 a month for a 10x30 unit. Reps from the storage facility called the sudden price increase fair market value. A sudden 50% increase is fair ? Put in my notice. Stay away from these people who suddenly price gouge even their most loyal customers.Even my credit card company contacted me to make sure if my regular charge was correct.

Infested with roaches never put your stuff in there.

Questionable practices such as charging you an extra month for not providing 30 day notice, charging for insurance you do not request, not fixing broken door even when requested twice. There are plenty of other storage units to rent from. Avoid this storage facility.

If you’re military don’t waste your time with this place, they switch staff and lose paperwork then blame and ask customers to pay for it. Completely unprofessional. They don’t even follow their own policies and fail to contact customers when issues come up

Great service. The staff took great care of my storage needs in a timely manner. They made the process easy for me.

Staff are not in sync with each other as far as giving out information on vacating. Has a bad rat infestation. When i moved my belongings out of it there was rat feces on all of my furniture and in my boxes!! Evidently they do not monitor infestations in their facility. I will never be a customer with this company ever again and i would not recommend this storage unit to anybody!! Then they had the audacity to tell me i was responsible for paying for the month following my move out and i moved my belongings before the first. The manager Brian was no help at all!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I wouldnt have even gave them 1 star they deserve no stars!!

I have been a customer at this place since 2006... climate controlled units. The ownership has changed 3 times. I had no issues until the first change in ownership. Rates started going up with the justification that they were competitive. After 2 or 3 rate changes, I discovered that the rates advertised online were considerably less than what I was being charged... I addressed this with the manager, and he graciously gave me a discount that brought my rate back down to the advertised rate. No reason was given for the difference. I had to pull a TWC a couple of times to get my rate back down after it went up, again. Then, in 2017, there was a mysterious leak into my unit from the ceiling and evidence of a leak under the wall in the back of my unit. After informing the staff, there was no offer to find me another unit to move to while they investigated the leak... just that I should make a claim for any damages to my insurance company. Luckily, nothing was damaged, as my things were in containers and the leak from the ceiling fell onto some cardboard and the floor. It was found out the the air conditioning unit located behind my unit brought the leak under the back wall. The ownership changed not long after the after the leak issue. I had to pull another TWC to get my rate reduced. Again, I was not given a reason for the advertised difference... just told since I was a long time customer the manager would give me a discount from $340 to $235 (yes, is was a large climate controlled room) for (I forgot how many) months and I would need to get him to adjust it again when it went up, again. Then in Dec 2018, it went up, again. The staff didnt know anything about adjusting it, so I talked to the manager. He told.me he could no longer give me a discount and that the company will not allow him to give discounts anymore. I have moved my things out, sooner than later because of the rate.Calling today, the 31st to let them know I moved out last week. My notice was given in the office and signed before the 5th.

Paul and Darlein will walk the line to assist you. I rented a cargo van twice and they were clear in what my charges were. I was going to rent with a competitor until I found out there was a robbery on site. There is a manager on-site 24/7. Though it was hard to find them on-line, I did more research. Location is close to the airport, video security, 24/7 on-site management, collaboration with local police department and fire department. Ive rented storage units before, and I am impressed with the service.

I have had nothing but trouble with this place. It first started when I got the unit, I was told it would be a certain price and then when our first bill came it wasnt the price we agreed upon. I call and tell them and they say they are sorry that I was told wrong. NOW I have left the place in March and I paid my final bill in April. Well guess who charged me This month??? (June 2nd) They say that I gave my 30 day notice in MAY 02!! Which is false because I couldnt possibly be there since I DONT LIVE THERE ANYMORE!! So now I am jumping through hoops because these people dont do a damn thing when it comes to refunds and the female manager there says she is doing her best when she really isnt. Dont do business with these people they will lie to you and take your money without you authorizing it.
