I’m here today Halloween day at 9:30pm all lights are on and it’s closed. The store hours said it close 10pm. I spend gas to come here and they close early, not coming again it’s the second d time it happened.

Awesome! I decided to go to my local Carvel instead of Publix this year. First time I ordered a cake here and no regrets. Ive had pretty much everything on the menu over the years. Everything is always fresh and always excellent service! This design was created from an old photo and just look at it! Perfect!!

The girls here made me THE BEST Banana Split Ive ever had in my life. I can tell they really do take pride in making nice ice creams for everyone that comes in. The nuts and cherries were very fresh. The entry and decor of the place reminds me of a store from the 1980s. I will recommend this ice cream shop to everyone I know!

Ladies were friendly, but not trained properly. The ice cream was almost warm, and they didnt know how to properly serve a chocolate dipped cone. It was the sorriest cone Ive ever seen.

Today I went to pick up my brother’s 40th Birthday and the owner, Costas, helped me out graciously, politely and kindly. The cake came out amazing ! It had a printed picture on it and it came out perfect! Costas was very helpful! And the rest of the staff was nice too! I highly recommend this location just for the kindness when you walk in the door. Thank you!

Great customer service. Supervisor and New York clerk the reason I will return. Product presentation is good. I would not sell something that doesnt taste good. The ice cream I love. Get rid of the Italian Ice unless you can have a alternative to the only favor you have.

We came for a cake and chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches. This has bar far been the worst Carvel weve ever been to. Its an ice cream store yet it was filthy and the customer service was not awful but certainly not welcoming or helpful and we wont be back.

A whole bunch of staff too busy with each other to provide a good customer experience. Dont order the hard scooped ice cream. It was soft and didnt have much flavor.

Worst experience ever, Ive been going to this store for awhile and this is the first time Ive encountered such rudeness from a person. If you dont know how to treat a customer, then your place should not be here. Cursing at a customer because youre so incompetent that you cant even do your job and serve ice cream. I first walked in and this woman is on her phone talking like theres no customer there. I said what I wanted and she nonchalantly mumbled something that I had to ask her to repeat it and thats when she finally hung up the phone. When I noticed her getting an attitude, I told her to forget about the sandwich and let me just get some ice cream, I specifically ask her for rum raisin ice cream mixed with soft serve vanilla, she went ahead and just put rum raisin ice cream only. When I stated that thats not what I wanted, this lady had the nerve to argue with me saying she doesnt care about the owner when I said that I was going to let the owner know. I shouldve known better based on the treatment when I first got there and based on her whole demeanor and outfit. Who comes to work with a pair of flip flop, are you serious? No professionalism whatsoever. I feel sorry for whoever has to deal with this person. Get an attitude adjustment, smh.Beware of Manquia thats her name based on what her coworker said.

There ice cream is pretty good and the place is usually clean, but it is the necessary lacking the management skills to get it up to par. The last time I was there, I spoke with the manger personally and he was very rude. He took so long to serve us and the place smelled like old ice cream.

I spoke to the owner today a wonderful man, so charming. The ice cream is the best. I remember i got a childs ice cream it was so big i sat in the car for an hour eating all this ice cream it was huge and amazing just a little time out rewarding yourself and also spending time with griends and family this would be the quintessential place

The service is good, and the ice cream is OK. Nothing special though. I had a coupon, which is what brought me in. This is normally not a place I would visit. Thats not to say theres anything wrong with it, its just not my favorite.

This Carvel shares space with Blimpie. The place is clean and there is a nice selection of Cakes. The staff is also very helpful.

My son has egg allergy and the person could not tell me which ice creams didn’t have eggs. He immediately just said they all have eggs even the sorbets without even checking.

EMPLOYEES WERE FANTASTIC AND HELPUL.....BUT THEIR MANAGER SHOULD NOT BE IN MANAGEMENT!!!First off, I want to say that the customer service from the two women who were in the shop on both my order and pick-up days was absolutely perfect. They were very pleasant and did everything in their power to make sure hat I was taken care of. With that being said, I have never been handled and spoken to with such disrespect and lack of concern for the poor job that was done to my finished product, than I was when I spoke with the Manager at the 3600 W Commercial Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 location.I ordered a Large ice cream cake for my best friend’s 30th birthday party on 4/20. This cake was supposed to be a highlight of the night because the birthday girl, Pilot, hadn’t had a Carvel ice cream cake since she was little, and so for her 30th birthday, I promised her that I would get her this cake. the manager of the Carvel i places my order at (Costas Harris) called back to make sure he had my customized requests correct so it would be ready when I picked it up at 9pm. I get there and the drawing and handwriting was sloppy, plainly done, no punctuation marks like I requested, and just looked completely rushed and careless. The two women told me that Manager Costas was the one that did the writing. I paid $56.20 for that cake and I felt like I was scammed. The employee called Costas and let me speak to him. I calmly expressed my concern with the work and he immediately replied with “There is nothing wrong with that cake! I’ve been drawing on cakes for 20 years! That cake is perfect! What do you want me to do?” When I asked about compensation, (because I can’t come to the party without the CAKE) he said “If you don’t like it, leave it there and get your money back, but if you want it i’ll take of $10 but that’s it! There’s nothing wrong with that cake and you can take it or leave it!”There was absolutely no disrespect on my end so I was extremely offended and was handled like trash! The two emoloyees were understanding and offered me a free small cake, which i appreciated, but the giant birthday was still ruined and I was embarrassed to present this to my best friend. She was grateful and said she appreciated the thought, but that didn’t compensate for how I felt the entire night after I was insulted over the phone by that manager. That was unacceptable, and any other person with less composure would have tossed trashcans and cakes and destroyed that building in response to the disrespect. He should not be anyone’s manager and I will not stop until some form of action is taken because i’m certain that he has treated others this way before and will continue. I am never coming back to that place and I would never recommend anyone to his store! My weekend was almost ruined and my money was wasted.

Service was nice, but staff was poorly trained. Two counter persons between them couldnt agree what went on the Blimpies sub. As for the ice cream, drove way out west to have the Wednesday is Subdae promotion. Ice cream was ok, but very stingy with the hot fudge. And the hot fudge wasnt even hot. All in all, definitely not worth the trip..... even with the free sundae factored in. 😕😖😞. What a shame !!!! Maybe they should just stick to ice cream and not all the other food offerings that seemed a bit much for the two girls working at the time .

Me and my family came to this place we order 5 jr size cups and 3 kids size cups with 9 toppings in total and they charged us at least 10 dollars more .......they steal your money and give no receipt

I really wanted ice cream so my friend took me to this place. We walked in and stood up for 7 mins watching the employees on FaceTime and not even a hello or good evening or anything then when she was finished with her cell phone conversation she then spoke to her friend she had in the store and then said hi to us. I stood quiet and when she acknowledged me I asked her name Shian or something and then I walked out. I will not ever walk in this place again and I do not recommend it. They need to retrain their staff.

The Manager or supervisor was walking in front of me into the store and he did not even HD the door open for me. His attitude was very unfriendly during my visit. What a shame because I really do love Blimpies, as I am from Hoboken.

We came to the location right before 10:00. It says online they close at 11:00. She tells us “oh he ain’t change it on the google”. Okay the signs still say open and they couldn’t help ? Horrible experience. When we got back in the car to leave it was 10:00 on the dot. Won’t be coming back here.

I love carvel. Went to purchased a cake for my moms birthday. This place is ran down and extremely dirty and nasty. There were fruit flies in the topping eww. It made me change my mind. And if you want a certain flavor thats all gone. The employees tell you its in the back and too hard to scoop. I will not purchase from this place ever again.

The woman who answered the phone in the store today was kind of curt and didnt seem interested in providing any sort of customer service. I called to find out if they had a particular type of cake in the store, and was told that they didnt have that and it would need to be ordered. I then asked what cakes they had in stock, and she told me, seeming bothered by the question, that I needed to come into the store to find out what cakes were there. When I mentioned that I lived far away, in an even more bothered tone the woman described the limited types of cakes that they had on premises. It seems to me that if they only had a few items to select from, she couldve told me that straight away and (perhaps then) encouraged me to come in. Perhaps she felt like she was too busy to be helping customers over the phone, and therefore was eager to finish the conversation. I dont know. All I know is that I wont be coming into this store, ever. A brand like Carvel, whose franchise ranking has fallen in recent years, should be looking to stave off competitors by offering both a quality product and quality service. Hiring people into the franchise who will help it succeed certainly would be a good first step, and this woman didnt exemplify success to me.

If their employees were competent, they would turn OFF the OPEN sign when Carvel is CLOSED! Also, 3 out of the 4 times Ive been there they were out of vanilla soft serve. In this economy businesses need to concentrate more on satisfying their customers. Obviously, CARVEL is NOT. TOO BAD, I use to love Carvel. Im stickin w/ Kilwins on Commercial and A1A. I went to get ice cream it was a man with a huge dog that went in off the leash, not a service dog .I went to the store i wanted ice cream i would not go in I did not feel safe at all, other people stood at the door a little girl was terrified and did not want to go in ..I mean really everybody dont want to deal with a dog while getting ice cream ..
