Being from Miami and finding great Cuban food in Broward is hard. This restaurant has mastered the taste of authentic Cuban food. I’ve been a customer for a while and the food has always been on point. The owner is always a pleasure to speak with and the services is great. Before you go somewhere else and be disappointed, come to this place, you won’t regret it. Steak with onions, pork chunks, and a Cuban sandwich.

We stopped in to have a bite while in Hollywood for the Big Smoke and Whiskey fest. Little did we know we had stumbled into one of the best Cuban Restaurants we’ve ever been to. The food was amazing but so was the hospitality!! We were made to feel so welcomed. Ended up spending a couple of hours there enjoying great food and wonderful company. Ended the meal with Cuban coffee ☕️ delicious!! If you’re in the area you must stop in and enjoy!!

Seriously, such a wonderful place. My husband saw this place and this place had great reviews, so we decided to try it out. The food was really delicious and fresh. The vibe was relaxing and the owner and staff were really nice and down to earth. Definitely coming again. Oxtail was super tender and savory.

Very very very great food three of us got different food BUT it was awesome food chicken (soft) best I’ve had other than my mom’s fried chicken. Wife’s pork steak awesome!!! My fried beef awesome. Side’s we’re more then we could eat black beans rice yuca etc. Come extra hungry! I wish they were in Illinois

We were traveling from Miami to Palm Beach and didn’t want to get stuck in Little Havana traffic so we found this particular Little Cuban Cafe. It’s very casual and affordable, but the food is authentic and the restaurant is clean and aesthetically inviting. We really liked the cortadito and the steak sandwich . The Cubano Supreme was filling. I like their platanos and the desserts. I love the rice pudding too. My husband is spoiled because his sister makes flan and tres leche but he liked the desserts here. The ladies here were really nice and friendly. We will definitely make this a regular stop on our way from Orlando to Miami.

OH MY GOODNESS IT WAS SO GOOD! After having read the reviews for all Cuban restaurants in Miami/FLL, I knew Little Cuban Cafe was the one I had to go to. From being greeted upon entry with the biggest masked smiles, to the excellent and most attentive service, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. My server, she was amazing and had the best recommendations for what dishes to consider. After having chosen her recommendation of the Carne con Papas, I knew I made the right choice coming here! It’s too bad I live 1000miles away, cause I’d be coming here every day for lunch just like I saw so many others doing! The owner was super friendly as well. And the Croquettes....Dios mío....I can die happy now after having had them fresh and hot! The rice was made perfectly, the beans were plentiful and warm, and the plantains were cooked to perfection and sweet as ever! I don’t have any cons about the dish I tried, cause there are no downsides to dining in heaven!Thank you so much Little Cuban Cafe, you have made a huge impression on me and I can’t wait to try your next dish! Best Cuban Steak sandwich outside of Cuba!!! I am Cuban, and this is not an exaggeration. Have been coming here for 4 years and it only gets better! Staff and owner treats you like family. Entire menu is also great but the steak sandwich pan con bistec takes the cake, cherry, and everything else!

Hopped in for some empanadas I was craving. Service was instant and kind! Typical empanadas...dough felt as if it was freshly made which is a plus. Got a beef and chicken...wished they would have filled them a bit more with meat, but they were tasty.

Ribs stew is phenomenal. Owner and staff are fantastic.

The staff is amazing, super friendly, the empanadas on the other hand are lacking that unique sabor that would make them addicting. Instead the empanadas are bland and greasy, I threw half of mine in the street, for the birds. I ordered a Cuban sandwich with no pickles and it seemed fine, except when I opened it the pickles where inside. Also, they put too much pork in the sandwich, the ratio was off - sometimes less is more. They gave me my money back and wanted to make it right, Im just not so forgiving.Too bad, I really wanted it to be great, it being near a gas station and all.

The food was good and the owner is a real gentleman. We enjoyed the food today. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the waitresses (I did not want to penalize such a good guy over unskilled employees). They looked miserable & their service was equally miserable and subpar. They were not attentive & would grunt like a hog whenever we asked for basic things, you know... like a spoon. They were rushing us & took it upon themselves to not even ask about the check split or anything. They just made assumptions for us and gave us an attitude when we had them correct the check split. Perhaps the waitresses there should work as security guards or some other job where having a personality & pleasant attitude isnt required.

Chef needs a raise. EVERYTHING was delicious and large servings. White rice and black beans best Ive had. Yuca was very tasty. Not to mention best service. Owner came to every table to check on customers. Definitely coming back next trip to South Florida. I hope they have same chef when Im back.

This is the best Cuban food we had during our family vacation in Southern Florida. The pork chunk has so much flavors and tasty that we came back couple days later to get more. Their white rice is amazing too and in a way better than our own jasmine white rice. Hands down the best food we had during our vacation in Florida. I had dinner with my family at Little Cuban Cafe and the food was great! I’m Cuban and I know how good Cuban food should be. The food at Little Cuban Cafe was very authentic and delicious. I had the Vaca Frita, the sazón was perfect almost as good as my mom makes! The owner and his family were very hospitable. He stopped by our table to ask how the food was. It was a very nice experience. I highly recommend Little Cuban Cafe and I will definitely be going back again!

For $8 you can have your choice of meat and three sides. I had the roasted pork, arrow Moro, plantains and black beans. The portions is really good and the quality and flavor is good. A lime wedge is the only thing that could have made it better 😋

Great for right after you land in Fort Lauderdale, as it is 10 minutes from the airport! What a great find. We will definitely be stopping by again!

My family of 10 just arrived in Florida on vacation and gave this place a try based on the reviews and there arent enough star to give this place!! The food was incredible, and despite the large size of our party it was ready quick. The staff was so friendly and helped is understand the menu items. Even the mojito is the best ever. Our only disappointment is that we are not staying closer to this place to eat here every day!!!

The owners were on the floor serving and chatting with guests. Very nice, friendly people. They were telling us their personal story of how they came from Cuba on a raft! I was dozing off this morning after dropping my wife off at work. I decided to stop in here to get a Cuban coffee and a Cuban sandwich. Although my server was gorgeous, she seemed unhappy to be there. Now I have lived most of my youth in Miami, where you can get a decent Cuban sandwich just about anywhere. The sandwich I got here was NOT edible. I asked for it extra toasted which it was not, and pork was SATURATED in oil, very salty. When I picked it up to take the first bite it was sitting in the grease from the pork, I squeezed the sandwich and it literally poured oil like out of small nozzled bottle. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed . Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Great little place - a little hard to see, right next door to a popular Greek restaurant. Im not Cuban but if I were this would be food like my mom would have made - huge portions and delicious. Make sure you get a banana shake. Great service and an owner that cares about quality.

A fantastic place for dinner. Spoke to the owner about his families incredible journey on a raft from Cuba. We ate, we drank, we shared stories, then we drank Cuban coffee. Outstanding family owned business!

First time coming to this place.Cuban sandwich is the one to get. The pulled pork (instead of dry sliced pork other people use) is flavorful that blends well with the cheese and pickles. Im sad I didnt get more pickles.Also got the pulled pork with sides and it was just as delicious.I regret not getting a dessert.Staff was friendly and in point.Edit: There are plenty of Pickles on the sandwich. I personally should of asked for more.

This was the best hospitality I’ve had out in Florida. The owners greeted us as soon as we walked in the dad and son told us the history of the restaurant and attended to our table so we’ll made us feel at home. So beautiful. We are from Boston and I wanted to show my friends some good Cuban good. What a successful outcome!!! I wanted authentic Cuban food last week and found Little Cuban Cafe in Dania beach. I ordered Moro with Yuka and grilled chicken. All I can say is that I was full and extremely happy since the food is FANTASTIC! Service was great, friendly staff and great location. I had the pleasure to meet the owner who came over to check on me. He was super sweet and hooked me up with the best coffee ever. The Coffee is a must try you will be awake for a week :)

Best Cuban food Ive ever eaten in my life! Superb customer service and rich, quality food. Wed just come from the beach and decided wed make a special trip to the Little Cuban Cafe. We felt like we were part of the family. Of all of the states Ive traveled and lived, no one other than my own family has ever treated me to such specific care and attention as does here. We ate a Cuban sandwich, beef empanadas, shredded beef with rice and black beans with a side of plantains. Until today, our daughter had never eaten a plantain. Were grateful for this place and very pleased with the food. As we sat, we were visited several times. Our glasses never reached the bottom and every family member of the owners spoke with us. This. This is what American culture should be like. This is great dining with great pricing. Personally, I think its worth the drive from anywhere.

The grilled chicken with onions had no soy. The fried items did have soy though. The flan was not too sweet, delicious and had no soy.

My cuban sandwich here was very good. The only reason its not 5 stars was because the bread was extra crispy. The flavors of the meats and everything inside were tasty and delicious, still enjoyed my food. A less harder bread wouldve have made even more enjoyable for me. Service was wonderful. Definitely still a good 4.5 out of 5 star restaurant worth dining at again.

I only get Cuban coffee and toast. I loved the way the owners wife use to make it. I was sad to hear she was no longer able to work. Also, Robert and his sister are no longer working the family business. The current staff was very friendly, but no habla Ingles for a some.
