American Door Company was THE best home improvement vendors that we worked with in our time here in South Florida.The entire staff team was courteous, respectful, hard working, and very efficient. From initial sales/pre-installation to the install team and permitting. Everyone was a pleasure to work with on this project!American Door Company was the ONLY company willing to take on our project, which was a single door replacement for a new hurricane door. Their competitors snubbed their noses at us, turned us away, and wouldn’t bother to entertain our project. American Door Company took on our small project, without hesitation, and showed exemplary service at every step.I would recommend them to anyone and everyone in the area.

Read other reviews here and dont ignore them! Stay away from this company even if they offer you a remarkable price because its not worth the hassle they will put you through. The owner Paul is extremely rude and unprofessional. He will make excuses for everything, cusses, and hangs up on you when he gets upset which doesnt take much. Shortly after our front double doors were installed we noticed the routing lines on one door were not even with the other door. After many arguments, they finally came out, left us with a temporary door for months while they fixed it. Then six months in, the same routing lines cracked and the rest of the stain started to fade and peel. More arguing to come and fix/repaint. The repaint color was ultimately never matched correctly and we just had to accept it. Now two years in we have water leaking through the glass on the door when it rains. Paul of course refuses to acknowledge this or try to resolve. More arguing, but this time he says to take him to court so we will be taking him up onthat request since he has left us no choice. Over my lifetime I have had plenty of expereince dealing with different companies and contractors, some bad and some good, but this is by leaps and bounds the most unprofessional experience I have ever dealt with.

Owner super rude & made inappropriate comments regarding the origin of my husbands last name & spelling. We were quoted for work with a military discount, told the price included paint and then were gouged in the end without the discount and charged for paint. Owner also attempted to put a lien on our house, you’re lucky we even paid you what you quoted us for! Only reason for the 2 stars is because the door actually came out perfect.

Beware!! Read the reviews!! This is a bad company that does not stand behind the products & poor workmanship. Dave is rude and accepts no responsibility, there is absolutely no customer service. The paint bubbled & peeled soon after installation which I paid to correct and then the same problem occurred again. Now Dave places the blame on me, not the door and its installation. Stay away! Lawsuit is forthcoming!

The bad reviews on here, especially as they relate to Dave, are very similar to my experience with this company.We used them on a small project and found Dave to be very unprofessional, rude and snide in his dealings with us. He blamed everyone else for door measurement issues and for their delays on the project and then tried to charge us more than was agreed upon in their proposal.I would definitely NOT recommend them for any type of project. If they act this way when dealing with another company, I can only imagine how bad they are with private individuals.

We searched a lot of entry door vendors before coming across American Door. We wanted a two-tone door, white on the inside and stained to match our exterior on the outside - these folks were the only ones who were able to offer this; they also had a beautiful sidelight to go with the door. Today our new door is installed and youd think we have a new home - it is beautiful!Not only did they do an amazing job with our door, the staff was friendly and helpful through the whole process. We will recommend American Door to anyone.

Dave came onsite and from day one, we felt good about choosing American Door for our warehouse emergency exit doors and frames. He was fast, professional and knew exactly what we needed to meet our inspection. The material showed up ahead of schedule and they sent Mike out to do the job. Mike was here everyday (early) and worked all day until the job was done. His workmanship is exceptional! From sales to service, we highly recommend this company.

Top notch and professional from beginning to end. Dave, has a great eye and is a big help with the decision making. The owner is a really nice guy and very easy to deal with. The installer, actually a contractor, Steve does excellent work. Fit & finish all great, works clean and when he is finished, the job is done. Unlike other companies that dont put the finishing touches, be it cement, molding, filler or whatever may be needed for a truly beautiful and complete job.We would use them again in a heartbeat! Hard to find businesses like this today.

I have purchased three entry doors, two impact and one non-pact on three different occasions. All three installations were done professionally and in a timely manner. One entry threshold was particularly challenging as it had been cemented into place. The installer did an amazing job of chipping it out without causing any damage. I am a very satisfied customer with the whole experience start to finish with the owner, salesman and installers. Great small business with good customer service and a nice showroom for design ideas for doors, windows and hardware.

After some frustration getting answers on impact fiberglass doors at the big box stores or even color samples to choose from, I found American Door. My experience went from the frustration of unanswered questions and confusion to being in the hands of a professional team who does this day in day out. Because I tend to be a little indecisive when it comes to color, one of my favourite things about American Door is that they do their own staining and it was great to see the artisans working in the back on other doors and colors. Helped me a lot to see. The door is a beautiful impact door & hurricane rated for my wind mitigation needs. I love the installation and now the door is a part of my furniture rather than just separating me from the outside world. Communication was great as was the advice on look, color, scale for door and hardware. Thank you American Door!!

Went in on a Saturday to make arrangements for a new door and spoke to Paul. We spent about 15 minutes talking and I decided on a door. Arrangement were to be made about measuring the door and Paul handed me off to a technician who got my information. Dave was supposed to call me that same day or later in the week to see about coming out on Friday morning. NEVER RECIEVED A CALL. I WILL NOT USE A COMPANY THAT FAILS TO FOLLOW UP. IT REFLECTS ON THEIR WORKMANSHIP.

Horrible customer service! I needed one interior door installed. They said they would come out and install a door for me the following day. Some other guy shows up the next day says he lived near me and wonders around my house just looking it all over and criticizing things. I asked if he was there to install my door like I was told, he said I was wrong and no one would be installing a door for quite awhile. So why did you come over? He didn’t measure anything, didn’t give me a quote, and had no idea on an estimate or what he had in stock. It was very bizarre to just show up and want to look at my house! Waste of time and creepy!

This place has some very,very nice doors. Need a door. For the inside or outside they have them. Better than those box stores. Ask for PAUL.

Sales person came to my house. He shoved his key at the base of the door frame. His idea of a rotted wood test. Now I have a hole where there was not one before he came to my house.I asked for multiple options so I could evaluate cost. He gave me one, the most expensive option. I later asked for variations and he came back with the same offer, and didnt answer any of my requests.Waste of time and energy. I wanted to use a local company, but appears I should have gone to Lowes in the first place.

Took Over a week to get a call back and then was contacted by Dave. Talk about BAD customer service. He quoted me wrong prices and gave excuses of not having seen the job because I was a email or text shopper when he was the one who failed to come to my home to do any measurements or anything. After him sending me pictures of options and then sending me a quote of double of his initial proposal I decided to move in a different direction which is when called me names via email. I strongly encourage you not waste your time with this company

Just be careful with the employee Ted scardina he dont delivery what he said. Actually he owns me $3500 and dont even answer my calls ot text. Can I trust a company like this went the have him? No Im sorry but I will not recommend this company just because he is part of it

Asked if they had a 24 inch door in stock they said yeah probably, I asked if they could check since I had a long drive, their response was yeah we have it. Well you can yes I drove across town 45 minutes they did not have the door installed
