Will never use them again. Pricey to begin with, but then they held our belongings hostage for 2 weeks past delivery date, smashed boxes and a TV, reimbursed us half the actual value. After all that they tried to charge us more money for extra storage days even though they kept our stuff 2 weeks past the agreed delivery date!! Good luck with your move hope this helps.

So far terrible. The Packers did not bring appropriate materials to protect the items that are being moved. We paid extra for the service. It’s been three days so far and I have not been able to get a return call from either the corporate office or the local A1 company. I’ll follow up after they come and pick up the articles and deliver them to Denver to let you know if everything arrives unbroken

I am moving from Palm Beach County to Ohio, and while I can only testify to the packing/loading side of this move, as of yet, I am quite satisfied as to how it is being handled.I was told by Penni, the coordinator when the packers would arrive one day, and when the loaders would arrive the next.On day one, Gerard (may be misspelled, sorry if it is) arrived with 2 others, and they packed up and taped up 62 boxes and many tubs/bins that I had filled previously. They were all nice gentlemen and quite professional as they got their work done expeditiously. It was done much quicker than I expected.On day two, to both of our surprise, Gerard was back for the loading. This time he was on Devons team. While Gerard was slapping tickets on everything going, and helping with wrapping and loading, the others were moving around so quickly, I wasnt even sure there were only 5. (I swear there had to be 8!!). Once again all professional and polite.As far as I could see, they were diligently wrapping my items in blankets and taking care to ensure they would be safe.I was very happy to see that they wrapped my electric tricycle (140 pound machine) carefully in bubble-wrap to the point they needed to lift it into the truck, since the wheels were encased in wrap too.Ill do another review on the delivery side, once it happens. But for now, I do recommend A1A Atlantic and Mayflower movers. Great job team..

I moved this past week and called Ryan Griffin ( sales manager) he cane out within 30 min and I had a team at my doorstep the next morning. This was a local move and I have seriously never in my life experienced something so professional from start to finish. I needed 2 days and had 2 teams. Both were impeccable professional and very very responsible. Drew and his partner and Tim and his partner need yo be commended. As I didn’t even have a box packed. They just handled it and the set back up in new home was impressive. I’m glad I’m not moving again in near future. But they were worth the reasonable priced. Quote was exact. Thank you so much. I used them to move my mother to a smaller house, they very easy to deal with and communicated very well. I live in Orlando and was able to have them pack everything one day and come back the next move everything in the new place the same day. Everything made it one piece and my mom couldnt be happier. We have been worried about this move for a long time and everyone at Mayflower made it very easy. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to move.

Other than the fact that they destroyed an expensive piece of hardwood furniture Ive had for 15 years, nearly caught my house on fire by placing moving paper on my electric stove and accidentally turning the stove top on, stole an expensive electronic item, and lost countless other items that mysteriously disappeared, the move was great. To make matters worse, they have a pseudo insurance system, whereby they present you with a phony bologna form, supposedly in order to report damaged or lost items. However, the sole purpose of the exercise is to make you feel as though somebody at Mayflower actually cares about their mishandling of your lost goods. In actuality, I never received a response. The items that were either stolen, lost or broken are gone forever. This was the most expensive move Ive ever made, and I have moved at least 10 times. When I say its expensive, its because I lost probably $500 - $600 worth of merchandise Ill never recover.

A1A Atlantic/Mayflower did a great job with my interstate move. Alex Trento was great in guiding me through the process and delivered what he promised. The moving crew was great - all my belongings arrived and there was no damage to the property. i would highly recommend this team for any interstate move.

We used A1A Atlantic to move from a one story home into a condo on the 15th floor. Despite the challenging logistics of a small elevator many feet away from the parking lot, Randy, Drew and Gerard were courteous and dedicated and made the entire move happen in one day! The office staff was always available for any questions and responded promptly.

This past summer I moved from Wellington to my retirement home in The Villages of Central Florida. I called A1A Atlantic for an estimate. Elliot, the salesman, showed up as promised and was very professional as well as very competitive.The packers arrived the day before the move and the movers led by driver Cherade arrived as scheduled on moving day. We had a little scheduling problem with the delivery which was quickly resolved with a Sunday delivery at no additional charge to me.This certainly was not my first move but it definitely was my best. I highly recommend this company.

I need to move on a very tight timeline from FL and IL. I interviewed and received quotes from several companies and chose Mayflower (A1A) and Im so glad I did! I highly recommend Atlantic Moving Service. They handled our long distance move from Key West to Jacksonville like the professionals they said they were. They fully packed our 4 bedroom stilt house, disassembled and reassembled beds and everything else. The gave me an estimate for 10 hours and finished in 9! The price was right and the service was excellent !

Quoted me $115/hour on the phone, roughly 3 - 4 hours plus 1 hour travel. So Im thinking max $600 - $650. He shows up and gives me an estimate for $1065!!!!! Claims they need an extra person and now 5+ hours. Then extra charges to wrap TV and provide wardrobe boxes. When I moved into my apartment, I had a moving company that did the job in 3 hours at $375. I was willing to pay a little extra for a more reputable company, but the guy, ALEX, was extremely rude and trying to run a con-game.There are other great movers that are far, far less expensive. We ended up scheduling the original company for $425 and 2 other companies I called quoted between $500 - $600 max with free wardrobe and no extra charges to move the TV.A-1-A sounds reputable, dont be fooled. They are a RIPOFF. Rude, con-game.

Have several issues including and delays, but they were fantastic in working with us to get the move under way.During the move and while tearing down one of guest rooms, they found my mother’s family jewelry which had been lost for five years!It was everything this grown man could do not to burst into tears when they handed it to us!My mother will be forever grateful and I will never be able to put into words how grateful I am!

Since 1998 my work has moved me well over 11 times across the country. Some experiences ok and some not so good. I recently used A1A moving to move my 98 year old grandmother into a new condo. The experience they provided was second to none! From the President of the company coming out to provide us with a quote, to our Moving Coordinator Penni who was amazing and constantly checked in on us and the moving team who were so nice to us, fast and extremely professional... I highly recommend using A1A for any of your moving needs!!!!

So bad. My husband and I use this company to move from Florida to North Carolina. They lose our stuff. Everything was delivered two weeks late. And they charge us more money than quote. They also yell at me on the phone, very rude. Very unprofessional. Never use them.

Weve used Mayflower associated movers several times in the past, had great experiences with them, and have referred them to others who have had positive experiences as well. This all changed after working with A1A Atlantic and Mayflowers lack of responsiveness when we encountered issues. Long story short, the movers were treated very well (Gatorade/water supplied, case of beer when the job was completed, and a substantial tip for each mover) yet they still decided to steal from us. The office staff seemed sincere enough however there was no offer to make amends for our loss and given the reviews for this place, this isnt the first time this has happened and likely wont be the last. And Mayflower - 3 weeks and no response to several emails I sent to them. Moving within South Florida? Look elsewhere!

Great place for storage and moving help.

Total trash business. I requested they stop sending me emails and warned them Id file a complaint with the FTC after the second time I told them I was not interested and telling them over the phone as much. They then immediately sent a harassing text message to my phone. Unfortunately for them all of that was submitted to the FTC and complaints carry a $1000 fine per harassing message. So not only do they have bad customer service and apparently overcharge and under-deliver (if they deliver at all) but they also dont know when to stop bothering customers who knew to avoid them.

Worst moving experience of my life. The movers that showed up to my apartment in Stuart Florida were awesome they wrapped everything and put it on the truck. However the quote that I was provided over the telephone and it up being 1000 and change short of the “that the shippers told me I would end up having to pay after they loaded the truck. This is where they get you they give you one quote upfront and then after they have your furniture hostage on the truck they tell you it’s gonna be $1200 more. But the real kicker is when they delivered my furniture in Manassas Virginia my brand new furniture that I had just bought three months before was all dinged up in damage. They obviously did not exercise any type of reasonable care and handling my furniture while it was in their possession. I have sent two certified letters to their headquarters. My certified letters have gone on responded to. Don’t use these people.

What a horrible company. I was quoted a price to move my mothers furniture and stuff from Florida to NY. I had the sales agent come in and we showed him everything that was going from Florida to NY and they gave us a quote. The day of the move was a complete mess. They told me that they cant take furniture apart and reassemble. That requires an outside 3rd party to do that. Can you believe a moving company has to hire an outside company to take furniture apart. Then why the hell did I hire you. Arent you a moving company. They wanted to charge me an extra $1020.00 to take move 2 pieces of furniture.They also sent the most rude and unprofessional mover Cesar Avina. I can not believe how rude this guy. Common your sales agent made a mistake and this guy would do nothing to make a customer feel good about choosing this company. This guy has the worst attitude and customer service. I would never recommend this company again. I used Shleepers moving in the pass and I wished I used them again. This company took everything apart and reassembled everything without any extra charges or attitude for the movers. Till this day I still have not received a call from the company with an apology or to see how everything went. DO NOT USE THEM. They do not care about their customers

Moved an entire home from lauderdale to the west coast of florida. They did it on time efficiently as promised and with no damege. This was my second time using this company and would use them again.

AIA moved us from Florida to NY. From start to finish, everything worked very well. We choose to let them pack. They did. Everything that could be packed into boxes was done in less than a day. The next day they came and loaded the truck. While 2 men loaded the boxes, another two packed everything else, bed, dinning table, chairs, etc. I think the whole procedure took 4 hours. When the furniture arrived in NY, the movers unwrapped all the furniture and placed everything where we wanted and put together everything they dismantled (dinning table, for example) back together. All the boxes were labeled and they put them where we asked them to. With both packing and unpacking, all we did was watch. A1A took the stress out of moving.Everyone was very professional. When I emailed Penni, the moving co-ordinator, about a concern, she answered very quickly. When I emailed Alex about a night table that was not listed in the written estimate, he said not to worry. I didnt.I had 3 quotes before I selected A1A - theirs was completely in line with the other two. I liked the guaranteed price too. There were no surprises.I definitely would recommend A1A to others.

After having utilized a few professional moving companies in Miami that caused multiple nervous breakdowns, screaming matches and never ending costs - i found A1A Atlantic Moving & Storage. We utilized their services to move from a high-rise in Midtown Miami (2400sq ft) to a home in Cutler Bay (5000 Sq Ft) so the move impacted everything - drive times on a Friday before a holiday weekend (Easter 2014); Elevator Police at the high-rise (3 hours to get everything down and out or you pay hundreds an hour more for each hour IF no one else is moving out) and guard gated community and two floors LOL - if there was a hiccup to be had i was SURE we would encounter it - to my utter pleasure - it went off without a hitch with time to spare. A1A did in less than 7 hours what other companies we hired couldnt do in double that time. And, in the end, for less money.They do an in-home walk through, provide a price and THAT IS WHAT YOU PAY! Serioiusly - no hidden fees, no we need another truck no we need a four hour lunch - up front pricing and peace of mind - Im still grinning thinking how great the move was!From the second i started dealing with everyone involved, it was professional and personal. The movers themselves were courteous and eager to get to work. They were in and out in record time - 3 hours to move 2400 sq feet out of a tower!! The other movers we have used have taken from 6-9 hours for the same thing.All service was exceptional - not one single thing was damaged. Nothing. Nada.When they say you get what you pay for - with A1A you do - fast, prompt efficient service with friendly and professional people. All around terrible experience with A1A. My furniture arrived late and almost all of my larger furniture pieces were damaged to some extent. My marble coffee table was broken in half. Do NOT use this company.

Terrible company!! Quoted me one price, then added another $1000.00 to the price on moving day because the estimator did not estimate properly. Took over 2 weeks to move my stuff less than 600 miles away. The owner Alex Trento is a world class assclown who has no customer service skills. Was very disrespectful with a nasty attitude. Do not do business with this company!!3 years later: company responds to my review, 3 years later claiming I never used their company 🙄 I definitely did. And you don’t make a great case for yourself taking 3 whole years to respond to reviews 👌🏾
