We hopped aboard Captain Tonys Fishing Adventures boat for some deep sea fishing for the first time this past week. The crew was phenomenal!! They were very attentive & made sure you were getting the full fishing experience. We also really enjoyed chatting with the cook aboard from Wasbash, IN! The boat was very clean & there was plenty of room for the crowd aboard. Restrooms were nice & maintained as well. We really had a great time!

The boat crew we had was nice and friendly. They rehooked our lines with bait and if the line broke. Worked with all of us so we would each walk away with a photo and, if we could, a keeper.

The boat is nice. The crew is always helpful.

Called the number on their website to reserve a spot for Saturday 2/13 to take my dad and nephew (Im local) out fishing. The gentleman that answered the phone, apparently the new owner, told us we do not need a reservation and just to show up at 9 that they leave at 9:30. Ok, great. My dad and nephew drove an hour and a half from Labelle and I came over from Cape Coral. We arrived at 8:30 and the lady in the office said they were not going out today because of scheduled maintenance and the owner shouldve never told us to come. While she was explaining that to us their deckhand had no problem lighting up a cigarette right in the doorway of the office right in front of my 11 year old nephew. We wasted our entire weekend trying to go fishing because of this company being so unprofessional. This place is a complete joke and I would not give them my business if I were you.

Went out night fishing on the boat last night. A bit chilly, beautiful sunset, nice crew. Problem here was the fishing, you pay a charter so everyone has an opportunity to catch fish. Not just a small group of people.Been on quite a few boats and i have never not come back with fish, 20 people around me and no one caught a fish or got bites. Buckets full of bait thrown away. I get it, location on the boat is important, experience level is important, slow night for fishing, wrong bait got it, no problem.But I walk 30 ft. to the back of the Boat and literally BUCKETS full of fish (1`2) buckets per person???I dont understand how the entire rear of the boat catches 10 - 20 people catch fish and everyone else catches nothing. That is just hard to phandom when you take your family out for that kind of money.If a group of people catch fish everyone should be catching fish.Someone has to walk around and let captain know.EMPTY BUCKETS

Great crew, very hospitable, offered assitance to guests. We were taken out to fish on choppy seas. Guests had to struggle to stay standing as the boat tilted up and down. The management certainly had access to weather reports ahead of time and they took us out anyway. They did not even offer a discount for future trips as had been done by the previous management and other fishing boats. Very disappointed.

I called a week and a half before my trip. Told them I was there from Saturday to Saturday. They picked for me to go Wednesday on the Queen Conch for $200. Sounded great. Planed out the rest of my trip. I get a call Tuesday night at 6:45 (Suppose to be at the dock Wednesday @ 7:15AM) Said they had to cancel because they only had 3 people and needed 5 to go. They sure wanted my credit card number to reserve my spot and incase I backed out but they canceled no problem. I feel they could could called Monday or at least 24 hours before we were suppose to leave to give me time to try and find another boat. They did offer me to go on captain tonys with 37 other people. I declined. Not what I signed up for. Place is a joke.

We had a great (first time) experience paddle boarding at the marina. Brandon was very helpful and made us feel confident. We paddled to Bunch Beach and back.

Lady Renee charter is a waste of time and money. Joey the deck hand is a dirty pervert and is more interested in my sons girl friend then fishing.Boat is very dirty and the captain brad does not communicate to his customers on his intent.As soon as the sun went down out came the cockroaches.Joey complains about the cost of the hooks he has to buy and when one get lost to a catfish.I go on many charters every year and this by far was the worst and most unconformable trip that I have taken my family on.Fishing reels where old and in poor condition, Deck hand Joey did not have enough fishing reels for 5 people to fish.Our trip was for 4 hours and we only went out 4 miles at a very slow speed because one of the engine was running hot. Captain was complaining about the owners son screwing with the engine.I hope that all the readers of this review will take it seriously. Im am not a disgruntle employee or anything other than a customer that was disappointed with the service that I paid 500.00 for.Thank you and good luck with your choices.

Great marina to be at you have a restaurnt next door you have other restaurants near by very quiet if youre staying on your boat

Took the 2 hour dolphin private pontoon with Brandon and he did not disappoint. I think like within 10 minutes he spotted the first one. Great time and worth every penny. Thanks Brandon!!!!!

A true old Florida marina. They have head boats for fishing as well as private charters for fishing and dolphin/sightseeing tours. There is also a bait and tackle shop. Love it!!

Will not be doing this ever again. Not a single fish was caught.

What a great full day at sea. 5 gallon bucket full of snapper, grunts and porgySeas were unusually calm..Capt Jake and the professional mates were very accommodating..the galley has the best food and services on the South West coast of Gulf of Mexico..cheers to the team and see you all early next year.

A great headboat to catch fish on! The mates are always friendly and do a great job of keeping you fishing. Weve been coming here for years and will keep coming back for years to come!

Had a great time with 2 of my fav girls. Water was warm and dolphins were out to play. The young lady who helped us was sweet and patient.

Captain Larry on the Reel Ality is very good at what he does. We have chartered his boat twice and have had excellent experience both times. We will continue to fish with him every time we visit Ft Myers Beach. Thanks Larry!!!!

Too many people on one boat. You can not fish only 1ft of space between each other and lines tangle every time someone reels their like in, even from the other side of boat. Horrible time on this boat.

Nice location and friendly staff. A starting point for a fishing charter. Shop can provide some last minute forgotten accessories like, coozies, sun glasses etc.

The guy was so helpful getting my mom on and off the boat we rented, which was super nice of him, the boat was super clean, had a great time. Will definitely rent from him again.

I didnt think it was called getaway Marina I thought it was called Captain Tonys we went fishing on Captain Tonys boat very exciting caught a lot of fish but the most exciting part of the 6 hour trip was one of the other guests on the boat had landed an 8 to 10 foot tiger shark sorry I dont have any pictures I thought I was video recording it unfortunately it was not recording

I get bait here. They always hook me up so 5 stars. Service is great.

Bunch of waitresses running around complaining about their job. Bartender didnt even know how to change the pop machine syrup. Other bartender too busy making drinks for himself, experimenting, having every waitress drink out of the same cup to taste what he had made. I was there with a 150+ group, youd think they would be more worried about customers.

Dont go. Dont waste your money. There are no fish off the coast of Fort Myers Beach. All you will be paying for is an expensive boat trip that will NOT tire out your arms as stated on their webpage. Paid $180 for 5 hours of traveling and 2 hours of not catching much. Go to the Fort Myers Pier instead and watch the tourists and catch the same amount of fish.

This has nothing to do with the crew and captain. Truth is, there are no fish worth catching anymore. Red tide has done damage and its apparent.

We rented a boat for the day and it was the worst experience of my life... The boat broke down half way through our day and it took 2 hours for them to come help us. When they showed up they acknowledged that their boat wasnt working properly and decided to tie their boat to ours to take us back to the dock... It ended up taking over an hour in the middle of a thunderstorm, while it was pouring down raining, to get back to the dock. The company offered a half day free on a future rental because of the trouble, which is a joke. We informed them that we would never consider renting from them again and are shocked that they would hold us responsible for entire payment today. Our charges are being disputed...

If you are serious about fishing stay away from the Getaway Marina. Harry who runs the bait shop is a con artist and liar. Everything he said about the fishing trip he booked for us was incorrect including his status as a Captain. The trip was a waste of time and money and I was embarrassed for my family and friends to experience this debacle.

Caught nothing. Sucked! Very tired 🙄
