I ordered a part from online and one week later it arrived broken. When I went to exchange it the team there didn’t seem to have a clue how to process a return. I ordered a replacement part and was told it would arrive in 1-2 days. I received an e-receipt that confirmed my order. 5 days passed and I did not receive a call so I called the store. There was no record of my name or my order in the system. Additionally the same person I placed my order with still was clueless about what he needed to do. I think this store lacks training. I received my refund. But won’t get the time back that I wasted dealing with your organization. My car is still not fixed all due to your inability to manage your supply chain properly.
Our battery kept dying so we needed a quick replacement before we were stranded again.. Mark was very kind and wore a mask while he helped us with changing our car battery. He was very quick and answered all of our questions. This place is also nice because it gives a military discount which goes a long way.
Friendly service every time I go. Usually have what I need, this last time they didnt have my cabin air filter stocked. Nonetheless the service they have here always bring me back.
Wow! Just called the mary esther autozone looking for a 6 rib 103 in serpentine. The woman on the phone looked for 5 seconds and said we dont have it. I asked for 103.5 or 104 in and with no hesitation she said dont have it. I asked if she knew the entire inventory to know they didnt have it and she hung up. Lost a customer today. Sad customer service.
My battery on my truck had died by the time I got it charged enough to drive it to auto zone it was close to closing. Kaleb didn’t hesitate to check my alternator and battery! I use to love going to autos zone. It is the only place we go. But now a lot of the workers their does not know how to search in a computer. They are not willing to learn . Example we call for a part and they said it is available at the other store so my husband reserve the part employee said he reserved it . We went to the other store and guess what they did not have it. So that store said that the other store had it, so we told them that they said that this store had it. So we went back and they did have it. This has happen to us 3x already. A very sad way to loose your customer

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Needed just a battery for an older model Mercedes. Great price for the battery and it actually worked!When installing, i went the wrong way with the nut on the positive terminal and it fell into neverland. I drove the car back up there and they gave me one for free...awesome.They also tested my lights and blinkers for me...great guys, i thank you again.I will be back for sure!Ashe

I wanted to share the Excellent Customer Service I received today from the Store Manager, DONALD who went above & beyond on a defective battery I purchased. Not only did he honor the warranty, changed out/ replacing & installing the new one. At the end I offered him a tip that he refused! Seems like during this Pandemic the lines are long, hold times on calls are longer and everywhere is so isolated in customer service but Customer Service is ALIVE & well at Auto Zone in Fort Walton Beach on Mary Esther Cut Off. Great service. I recently purchased a used car and the check engine light came on the following day. We took our car to this AutoZone and had a quick diagnostic done. They printed out the report and even referred us to a local mechanic to get the issue fixed.
This place was legit. My girlfriend and I both had issues with the battery on our car and Jefferson came out to help us immediately. He had a positive attitude and answered any questions we had. No matter your skill or knowledge levels, they will answer your questions and offer suggestions and tips based on their own experiences. They really endeavor to provide accurate info because they want you to be able to drive the car they just helped you fix.Remember this: Parts are parts and are ready available. Guidance, suggestions, and useful tips are not so easily obtained. AutoZone has both available.
The store manager Dontrail was awesome . He and his team Helped me with my overheating car and installed my battery which was in a difficult spot in the fastest way possible. If wasnt for him and his team I would have not made it work 👍👍👍

A few months ago my mother and father had to pick up my mothers car from the Honda dealership on Highway 98 that have been getting repairs done and return the rental car back to Enterprise car rental. My family did not know it at the time but my father was in the early stages of dementia and he got separated from my mother in traffic. It appears that the only landmark he could remember after being retired military and in this area over 25 years was AutoZone. He went in and asked if he could use the phone to call his wife because he did not know where she was at, and could not remember where he was supposed to be meeting her. In fact my father couldnt even remember my mothers cellphone phone number or his home phone number. Kim D recognized that he was very disoriented and agitated. She asked him where had he come from and he stated hed lost his wife at the Honda dealership. Kim D got my fathers last name and called the dealership to see if my mother had returned to look for him. The dealership told her no she had not returned but was supposed to be going to Enterprise rental car to turn in the car she was driving. Kim asked if they could give my mother a call to let her know that my father was at AutoZone and he seemed to be under the weather. Kim then called Enterprise rental-car to see if my mother had made it there and she was told no but they were expecting the rental car within the next 30 minutes. To make a long story short Kim made sure that she got my father to the rental car company without incident or embarrassment. Dad never bought a thing while at AutoZone that day, but Kim went above and beyond her duties to make sure my father was okay. I didnt have time to stop in the store and thank Kim because of the holidays and different appointments with memory care specialist for my father until the alternator in my car went out. When I did, I was greeted at the front door with... Hi welcome to AutoZone what are you working on? As aggravated as I was I said my car!! The young lady said Okay well give me your year make and model and let me know what part you need so we can get you back on the road. She gimped towards the counter with a medical boot on her foot. And as we made it towards the counter I looked at her badge, and it said Kim D. I thought to myself you are such a jerk, this is the person that went above and beyond to help dad and look at how sarcastic you were to her. I IMMEDIATELY apologized to her and told her it was nice to meet her. I told her I wanted to thank her for what she did for my father and my family because the situation could have been worse. She accepted my apology and told me she was glad everything worked out. I purchased my alternator and went directly to the ATM in order to give her a token of my familys appreciation, plus I still kind of felt guilty for how I snapped at her. While I changed my alternator my wife got a card the family signed it and we placed (2) $100 bills in it. When I returned my core later that afternoon I handed Kim the card. Kim said Thank you but you didnt have to do that. Kim did my core return and I walked out of the building. When she opened the envelope she immediately ran back outside the building and handed me the cash back she said she couldnt take it and it would be wrong to take it. I told her no one would know but us. Kim said no I would know. I told her that I wanted to do something nice for her because she gives customer service that you rarely see anymore and its genuine. Her reply was my grandma always told me its just nice to be nice. I asked her was it anything I could do for her to make her day a little brighter, her response was we have the Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner on sale buy one get one you can purchase one of those to help me get my numbers up, and I did.......in all actuality she didnt think about herself per say...she thought about the sale. Kim does more than just provide customer service, she provides the GOLD STANDARD of SERVICE.
My chain came off my motorcycle I didnt have the tools to tighten the chain up I went there and they help me out by loaning me the tools I needed! Great store! Good bunch of guys that work there.
Two of the associates were so doggone helpful it was amazing. I had a minor problem, but one I was clueless to solve. They took the extra steps required to ensure it was solved correctly. They need a raise for their superb customer service skills.I highly recommend this store!

Bought 2 cans of freon for a total of about $50.00 and still my cars a/c unit is blowing hot air. The AutoZone salesman couldnt help me and I wasted fifty bucks! I am not happy.

Very kind staff, I needed a new battery. The first store did not have it in stock, so they looked to see which stores did. I got to the 2nd store, he looked up my vehicle (2014 Ford Escape) which told him installation could take 45 min. So before trying to sell it to me, he went out to see if he would be able to install it. Which he could not. The under the hood design in this vehicle is ridiculous, you cant even get to 1/2 the battery. So while they werent able to help to the full extent they wanted too, they were still very kind and helpful!

Salesman went out of his way to help find a plastic knob for the Fan Blower . They didnt have one that fit, he want on eBay and found one for my car, AutoZone will not order it for you . You should be able to order it through them just leave them a deposit, but management doesnt want to do that .Overall sales help in there is above and beyond !!!!!!!
