Update to the update Update! They are open and life is good! Awesome donuts to be had!UPDATE! I talked to the owner and said they will reopen on the 22nd of October.14 October. Not open. No posts, signs or anything. Looks like they are renovating.Otherwise it would be 5 stars if they were open. Their donuts are the best!
Dont let the line deter you. It moves quickly, and these doughnuts are amazing. I especially appreciated the Gluten Free options for my 2 restricted diet eaters. Its hard to beat the honey glazed, but were giving it our best shot to find something better this visit with a big assortment. Also, parking is limited, but if you come in off the side street, there are more options and the walk is very short.
Not sure if I have reviewed this place before or not but the donuts here are like no other. Similar in appearance to the cronut but with a sweet taste. The ones I had were covered in sugar then coated with a flavor of glaze icing. I highly recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth or looking for good quality 🍩
Don’t even know where to begin. You will come into the shop with a line but it DOES move quickly as the staff are very prompt, attentive and polite to the customers.I was greeted with a smile as soon as my wife and I were the next to order. I believe by far THEE best donut/croissant I’ve ever had in my life. Flaky, fresh, delicious and chewy. As I bit into the perfectly baked strawberry shortcake donut, all of the wonderful sensations and flavors hit me all at once and I felt like My taste buds were floating on a cloud of strawberry goodness. Extreme freshness and wonderful sweetness. These donuts were thicker than a bowl of oatmeal but pillowy soft. The only thing that I’m upset about is the fact that I didn’t find out about this place sooner. 2 thumbs up!!
Tasty tasty tasty!!! You definitely want to try these delicious doughnuts. Interior is setup greatly. Plenty of natural light due to large windows and its not overcrowded with unnecessary items. They also have tables setup in the outside. Prices are very reasonable. They also have their own branded patches, mugs, T-shirts, growlers, pins and etc. Staff is super friendly and willing to take their time to explain about each flavor. There are only two downsides: 1. Since its a popular place, be prepared to wait in line for some time. 2. Because its located in a small business heavy location finding a parking space may be problematic at times. Thus, be willing to park a little further out and walk. Overall, an excellent place to have some delicious breakfast with family and friends.
I love this place! The donuts are so good! Best donuts I have had for a long time. The donuts actually croissant like texture donuts and thats why they last longer in the fridge. As a sweet toothed person, I dont just buy one donut ever, a dozen is what I always go for. These cronuts have been in my fridge for a week and they are still soft when warm up unlike the usual store made donuts. The ladies there are nice and welcoming. They were patient with us while we were figuring out what to get. The place is spot clean and they even have a bathroom for customers. Thats a plus for me whos with kids.If youre in town, pay them a visit. You wont be disappointed!
We did arrive much later in the afternoon, but there was still plenty to choose from like chocolate and marshmallows, raspberry filled, and maple and bacon. Plus, they also offered to make a fresh batch of the one I wanted, it would have just been a couple of moments. The doughnuts are large enough to split, if you want lol! If you love layered doughnuts, will love this place! They also had breakfast sandwiches, drip coffee, and flavored lattes.
Great little eatery in Ft. Walton Beach for some really good donuts and breakfast sandwiches. We purchased a variety dozen donuts and several different sandwiches and they were all delicious. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. They were busy when were there, but the wait was worth it. They have plenty of parking. They are located on the Miracle Strip just west of the Perry Street intersection. Great place.
🤤 Definitely stop and get you some. Not crazy sweet, but soooo good. Made like croissants with yummy toppings and filling. More the $2 a piece, but if you like donuts well worth it. The staff was friendly, the shop was clean and tidy. Nice outdoor covered seating. Get the maple bacon. You will thank me.
I stopped in unexpectedly this morning to get some donuts. Man, was I impressed! Some of the best donuts I have ever had! A real must do if you are in the area!
The kind of small batch, fresh, local doughnuts that were willing to drive through tourist traffic for every week! Its clear that the staff love what theyre doing and that shows in the quality of the unique croissant layered doughnuts here. Double down on one of their great coffees and youll find yourself spending an hour enjoying the weather in their awesome outdoor seating area. Love this place!
They have now closed with no notice a few times. The first time they kept pushing off the date as well. This time they didn’t even write a note on the door then days later put something on their website. It just wastes people’s time and isn’t consistent. I’ve talked to a lot of locals who are annoyed by it. They have good cronuts but their coffee is awfulll. They also have Christian music blaring, which is fine it’s their establishment but it just feels uncomfortable for our Jewish family. I find myself just annoyed when I go.
I came here based on the good reviews and because I wanted to try a local donut shop. I was surprised when I saw the donuts because they didn’t look like I expected, they call them layered donuts but they may also be called cronuts in other places, they seem to be made from croissant dough. I had the maple pecan and absolutely loved it! I also had the coconut cream and it was good, but I probably won’t get it again. If you are strictly looking for traditional yeast or cake donuts, these are not them, but they are fantastic and I highly recommend them. They also have other breakfast items on the menu that look good. Two thumbs up from me!
Doughnuts were very tasty, kinda pricey but not terrible for a once in a while treat. Stopped by to get some for work because of all the good reviews. Got there at 6:15 come to find out they didn’t open till 6:30, had to get to work and missed it that day so kind of strike for locals that have to get to work early. Stopped back the following weekend, line was long but moved at a good pace, they would make different flavors if they didn’t have any out for display. The reason for the 4star review is the server that helped us kept grabbing her phone and would stop, and ask again what we were getting. Sorry, if it’s that important for the phone at work you should step out and take care of business, then get back to work.
Definitely worth a try.I was thrown off when i bit into it expecting a doughnut but getting a bite of croissant instead. This to me is more of a dessert croissant which would be a yummy after dinner treat, very heavy for a morning treat! But absolutely delicious! We had strawberry shortcake, chocolate chocolate, carnival & i believe it was called fireside (marshmallows on top).I do wish they had a child size option. My 4 yr old was only able to finish 3 bites.
What can I say about these delightful deserts? They are super delicious...they are a bit flakey, a bit moist, ooey & gooey....Are they croissants? Are they doughnuts? Whatever they are theyll make you go nuts 🙄 honestly... They make a mean Maple Brown Sugar Latte. And they make their own cold Brew and that too is #Solid #justthebest #forreal
Edit: went again today and the process was flawless. Loved the lavender latte, all the donuts I got, and the dogs loved their dog donut! Cant wait for their kitchen to open in Sept to try their other goodies.Concept: cool. Location: great. Donuts: SCRUMPTIOUS. Wait time?... too long. But they were worth the wait! Hope to see them cranking out more donuts once the storefront opens. Ill be back for sure!
The donuts are delicious with lots of creative flavors only found here. The staff is very friendly and eager to help answer any and all questions. They explained the different flavors of donuts, and what they consisted of, as they have some very unique flavors (raspberry pistachio, french toast, carnival, etc.). We also had a couple cups of coffee which didn’t disappoint. I would definitely recommend checking out this little donut/coffee shop when in town!
Amazing food and iced coffee. I am very picky about both things. We went 2 of our 4 days of vacation. French toast and the bourbon doughnuts were the best, but you can’t go wrong with any of them.
Incredible artistically yummy doughnuts reasonably priced and served with a smile by super friendly service. A must visit place if you love doughnuts and things of the such. Cant say enough good things you must try it!❤️😎
Not Your Average Doughnuts.., Croissant Crossed Doughnuts, How CoolIs That?! I Always Like To Spoil My Friends/Family/Clients/Coworkers, When I Buy These, It’s Usually Gone By The Time I Turn Around. So I’ve learned to grab one first and hide it before I put them out lol. I’ve Tried All The Flavors, My Favorite Is Plain Glaze.
This was so worth the drive we came back twice! They accommodated my wife’s gluten allergy well and the regular donuts are freakin’ phenomenal! Every donut we got was on the sweeter side so we Shae them down with coffee and lattés which were spot on. I’m sad to be leaving and when I come back to town Parlor Doughnuts will be my first stop for breakfast. Pics have a selection of donuts from my family’s two trips to eat here.
I was so excited to see a Parlor Doughnuts near where we were staying in Ft Walton! Omg. My only regret is not trying the jelly filled version. I think these are cronuts? Im not sure. I dont think ive ever had a cronut but ive had croissants and ive had donuts...and im pretty sure if you combine the two it would be what Parlor Doughnuts makes. We tried the Reeses, Honey Glazed, Strawberry and Blueberry. If you cant decide just get 1 of each! I wish we would have because they were all SO GOOD. They lasted for a couple of days but if you seal them well they might last longer. The coffee drinks were good too!We were lucky to get there right before a rush. This place stays pretty busy (we were there week after Easter) but its worth it. The line goes pretty fast and all the employees work hard to get everyone taken care of.
Cute place!! absolutely the nicest people u will ever meet .. wish I lived closer will definitely visit again .. the whole dang town was amazing
This was recommended while getting a pedicure as to how great the donuts are. They didnt steer is wrong. The donuts are fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When Im in the area, I will definitely go back.
Never have I experienced a cronut-type of deliciousness as I did at Parlor! These pastry masters know what theyre doing and they do it with magic! To all who experience this, I hope you walk away happy and satisfied.
This place is absolutely awesome! If youre in the area and in the mood for a gourmet donut, stop by this place! You wont regret it.
Absolutely the best donut I have ever had! For those complaining of the price just go ahead and do yourself a favor, buy the dozen! I highly doubt any flavor could disappoint!
The donuts here are huge! I had the Turtle donut and it was pretty good.I was a bit disappointed in the coffee which was kinda weak. The counter servers were not very friendly. I was so excited to be there and they definitely did not want to be there. I’d probably visit again but grab coffee elsewhere.
Love this place... they need a good coffee though. Those yummy donuts deserves a very good coffee.
Excellent place to go if you’re in Destin, Fl. Very friendly staff, clean storefront, amazing selection of donuts and the prices are fair! Highly recommend you stop in!!
The doughnuts have great flavor and arent too sweet! Try the caramel bourbon and the honey glazed. There was a bit of a wait because they are serving out of a food truck with a high demand. I would expect this to be a different story upon the building opening. I highly recommend you give them a try!
This place is a must for any visit to FWB. I live here and I have to cinvince myself not to eat here more often - it’s not health food but dang is it good. These things are amazing and worth every penny. The coffee was great too, but the cronuts are incredible.
Love the depth of flavor on the donuts.A real treat. Have to taste to believe. Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!!!
My daughter flipped out over these decadent donuts! They looked sloppy but dee-licious!!! I liked the reeses cup one. Peanut butter and chocolate with drizzles. Yummy!!
OMG 😍 Hands down the best doughnut I have ever eaten in my life. Flakey like a croissant, sweet, gooey, and just-made warm. My only complaint is how difficult it is to choose a flavor. Great customer service, ample parking, cute shop located in the heart of downtown. Will be coming back for more… maybe later today 😂
Pretty good, lots of unique flavors. They are unique in that their donuts are buttery and flaky inside (Think of a deep fried, glazed croissant). The only drawback is that it is far too rich for the average Joes blood. There pricing is incremental, where if you buy one donut, it is $2.75 each. Buy 12 and the price drops to $2 each. Even at the incremental pricing, that puts a dozen at $24. The average price for the other well-known, local shops is about $16-17 for an assorted dozen. So while it is a unique and quality product, it definitely comes at a price that most would not frequent. It would be nice if they sold their Cronies in a glazed variety. Even if you arent ecstatic about the price, it is definitely a must-try at least once though due to the novelty that it brings to the concept of a donut.
We went to Parlor Donuts for the first time this morning. I’ve eaten a lot of donuts in my days but NOTHING compares to these! Best donut I ever ate...for sure. Go there ASAP and try one of each. You won’t be disappointed!
Personally my favorite donuts I’ve ever had... I would recommend them to anyone.Majority of the time you will have to wait for this deliciousness. Their “cronuts” (croissant/donut) are wonderful and flakey. The ones I ordered don’t have a filling like typical donuts, instead the glazes are on top. My personal favorite is the raspberry pistachio.Iced latte was decent but the drip coffee was stellar!!! So delicious!Don’t forget your fur baby when you order! They sell doggie donuts 😁 I got one for my pups and they loved it!! 🐶Wasn’t a fan of the cronies... but I also didn’t get any glaze on them...All around great donuts and the staff is amazing and always smiling. Wonderful customer service.**Side note: this last time I ordered they lost my ticket (there was a lot going on). If people after you are getting their orders, don’t be afraid to ask.Yay donuts 🍩🍩🍩🍩
Came here because they said they had gluten free on there menu but when we showed up at 6:30 AM when they opened they told me that were out. Then my husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and we waited over 15 minutes for them to tell us that they were out of bacon and couldnt make it. Very disappointed.
I got there early, because I plan ahead, and I don’t mind waiting for something good. If you have to wait in line, it is usually because you were waiting for something delicious/good, so no point in writing a negative review because you had to wait. The service and the food was phenomenal. I recommend this place highly without reservation. I will happily get up at 6 AM to drive here and wait until they open to get these donuts.
Wonderful Tasty Selection of doughnuts! Beautifully remodeled bakery. Friendly staff.
The BOMB. This place has the best doughnuts hands down anywhere period.
I am a local and have lived in the area since the 80s. Parlor Doughnuts is truly a gem of a place. I feel that our area is very lucky, blessed and all the above to have such an adorable place to grab delicious donuts, coffee and more. I love the location and being able to sit either inside or outside. The employees are so nice....always smiling and patient. Because of health issues, I am conscientious about ingredients and they were very helpful with me about that. The KETO donut is my thing....although there are so many other yummy and delicious choices!!
Honestly my top 3 favorite donut shops in the panhandle. The other donut shops that are not franchise doesn’t compare, it’s so good.
We love Parlor Donuts. Unfortunately it is usually a very long wait, especially today. They opened up 2 hours late today and were extremely short-staffed. Parlor Donuts is probably having the same problem as every other small business- Finding people who are willing to work.
The highlight of our trip! We had 5 teenagers with us. Made three trips for donuts! Great job guys.
Decent place, but not what we were looking for. One in our group was looking for a more standard donut. Said their donut was more like a croissant with filling and topping.I was really happy to see a vegan option on the menu since I havent found much local vegan food while weve been vacationing in the Destin area. I was sad to see that the vegan and gluten-free option was the same and that donut was very small. It was very tasty, though. They had decent cold-brew coffee and were friendly helpful folks. So, not for us, but probably not a bad place.
Interesting “donut” experience. It is like the reviews said - a fried croissant with phenomenal toppings. Not your average donut shop. Plan to eat your “donut” with a knife and fork! Delicious!
Food is amazing! Cant pick just one. Go for 6 or the dozen, and just share. Theyre big enough to create good sample sizes of each flavor. Staff is very friendly and helpful
This place was very surprising because I never saw donuts this big before. Very delish especially the jelly ones. Thanks so much for the delightful surprise, I am visiting from Atlanta and will be bringing some home! THANKS! 👍👍👍
I am in Law Enforcement and have ate a few doughnuts in my time but have to say these were the best I’ve ever had. ( I can imagine all the silly responses about being a 👮♀️ but I am a runner and they are my reward).
EXCELLENT DOUGHNUTS AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The doughnuts are delicious and the service was fast and very friendly. Great job. We will be back.
A huge variety of great tasting donuts. The coffee tasted anazing.
I think quite possibly the best doughnuts weve ever had. The coffee is pretty good too.
Amazing donuts. The flavor selections were amazing and the coffee was outstanding too. We will return. Keep up the good work.
A different donut for sure, but tasty. Great cappuccino
Thanks to Parlor Doughnuts, Im on my way to being a diabetic. These things are unreal. They are the best doughnuts Ive ever had and its not even close. The staff was friendly and very helpful and patient in explaining the different flavors. If you make the trip to Destin, this is a must stop and has to become a destination spot for tourist or locals.
These are the only doughnuts I will ever eat from now on! These doughnuts give me a reason to quit the gym and just get fat. I still get hungry while watching food network and eating these but they are really good!
They have gluten free doughnuts!! And they were sooooo good, for gluten free:)
Very convenient location in FWB. Donuts reminded us more of gourmet pastries than traditional donuts. That said, I really liked mine, but the wife was not a fan. Most food here was pricier than we are used to, so to be fair these may not be premium priced, but it felt that way to us. They do have quite a bit of seating, including a nice (albeit noisy) outside seating area.
Best donuts I have ever had! My favorite is the Caramel Bourbon. Fabulous!!
