My wife and I stopped and it All saints religious goods on Coldwater this afternoon. We have been shopping there off and on for the last few years. Its a lovely store and they have lovely items, although I have priced some of their items online and found them to be much cheaper. Its a shame the people who run the store are so unfriendly. You would think if they wanted their customers to come back they wouldnt be so rude.We always noticed the same thing when we go in. You take two steps inside the store and the woman Im assuming who runs the place, I could be wrong, is on you in a couple of seconds wanting to know what it is you want. If you try saying Im just here to look around and find something nice you still get grilled as to what exactly it is we want to purchase and shes not exactly friendly about it.Today when my wife and I went in the same thing happened, and I told her that we wanted to look around and also I was planning on doing a review for Google maps and would like to take a couple pictures if she didnt mind. At this point she got rather mean and testy, requested that we not take any photos because they had gotten so many bad reviews recently. She said she preferred to take her own photos. I respected that and didnt take any photos inside the shop. But its not the photos that matter its the experience you have while youre in the shop.I dont like being followed around the store like a criminal which is what usually happens when we go in Im not a thief I dont plan on stealing anything. I never liked that feeling they give you when you walk in. I never got the feeling that the people that run this religious items store are actually very religious they all seem pretty unfriendly and angry looking people. Its a shame because the items in the store are quite nice although rather overpriced. Also, I think the last thing I would have done if I were her, when a customer tells them that theyre going to give you a review she could have been a bit nicer. That would have been using some common Sense.Usually when my wife and I go in we just kind of blow off the cold treatment and look around and find what we want and try to not to pay much attention to the snooty lady behind the counter.Perhaps Im wrong, maybe the lady behind the counter isnt the owner. If the owner reads this you should have a talk with her or find someone thats a little bit more friendly. The shop seemed mostly clean. Although we were only there for a few moments its usually clean. They have a nice assortment of wall crucifixes, Catholic Religious gifts, a nice assortment of books, wall hangings, prints and posters, and a nice large selection of prayer cards.
Looking for baptism items. Always friendly and helpful
Beautiful store to get wonderful religious items with the help of knowledgeable and kind staff. They know what they are talking about and want to help others for sure. The prices are fair and for a small shop. I would much rather support a local business than buying off Amazon. If you have questions or are looking for a particular item dont be afraid to ask. They will do their absolute best to get the item youre looking for and will call multiple vendors to please you. I was looking for the Litany of Humility; they went above and beyond to help me locate it and gave me options.I have gotten numerous books, crucifixes, a baptismal gown for my daughter, statues, and many more. Take a chance! You wont be disappointed (unless youre Scrooge).
Great place to find religious gifts and everything. They have an oustanding selection of books, statues and gifts.
Very kind and helpful.
I was especially pleased with the wide selection of Christmas cards and the beautiful nativity figurines that were literally going to be keepsakes for my family. The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the figures. The staff persons in the store greeted me pleasantly and were patient with me as I looked over the cards and figurines. I will definitely make the trip from Ohio again.
Decent staff with beautiful statues, crucifixes, etc. Though the staff members weren’t wearing their masks over their noses and guilt tripped my dad into buying another painting.
This is a catholic store selling everthing of a christian nature that can be sold. Also, if they dont have it they will order it for you.
The store was small but cute the gentleman who is the owner along with his with wife seemed very nice but his wife on the other hand was off putting and a bit rude towards my 2 year old daughter who was not causing any trouble and both my wife and I were watching very closely to ensure she was not going grab things and or break anything. We felt that we were constantly being watched and it was not a very good experience especially for be a religious store / environment. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Love this little shop. 100 percent beeswax candles available.
I went in to get some clergy-wear. I was greeted and helped in a friendly way! Good experience, knowledgeable staff.
Great place and serve
The shop is tiny but loaded with lovely crucifixes and statues of saints. I went in to buy a statue of St. Joseph because I am selling my house. I was treated very rudely. The female salesperson yelled at me about the sin of superstition. She was so angry she was literally spitting. The male salesperson became angry also when I said that I was feeling very talked down to and he then said that involving St. Joseph in the sale of my house was not good science. Science?
Our church was wanting to have a candle stand and needed information about the various sizes and styles. The staff was very helpful, and they sent information and pricing in a timely manner. We ordered a candle station, and when we were ready to set it up in the church, the owner drove to Angola to help. All Saints Religious provided top-notch service. We will use them in the future.
All Saints Religious store had a nice selection of religious items @ different price points. The staff was friendly & eager to help me find what I needed!
I have to say the same as a couple of reviews back, the first time I was in there inquiring about a medal for confirmation for my daughter. I went back just recently to purchase that medal, I wasnt sure what she would like so I bought necklace and bracelet. The women who helped me seemed totally put out to answer my questions. She was not friendly at all. I ended up purchasing both but asked if she decides she wants one versus the other can I return it. I also asked if they took a check and she said we will gladly take a good check. Today I went to return a 22.00 item I was treated as if I somehow was doing something sneaky or that is was stolen merchandise. I had my receipt. I was treated like I was trying to get my money back for something I didnt pay for
Good people to work with... very truthful and care about the customer and there walk with God...
Very nice place, and very helpful staff. I enjoy my visit every time.
Very personable and knowledgeable!
I always find what I need here! Beautiful selection and helpful staff.
Good place to purchase religious art and sacramentals. I would stick to buying books on amazon though as prices are more competitive there. Additionally, some books prominently displayed all had an ultra conservative vibe like The Dictator Pope (a condemnation of Pope Francis) and A Pope and A President (a recount of the relationship between Ronald Reagan and JPII)I consider myself a conservative, but there is a need for both sides to be presented fairly so as to avoid groupthink. Additionally, are these politically charged books the titles needing displayed most prominently among so many great deeply spiritual classics?
Great place to pick up religious goods. Small business where the owners are also the employees! Great place to support on the north side of Fort Wayne!
Nice little shop for Catholic items with friendly staff
Excellent selection of Catholic-focused books, Bibles, statues, crucifixes, art, medals, rosaries, religious jewelry, and church supplies/candles. The most difficult part of visiting this store is trying to see everything!
Initially I had a positive experience at All Saints. I made a purchase of several church supply items, totaling about $140. When I discovered less than week later that I had been mistakenly sold the wrong sized clerical shirt (roughly $50), I returned to the store to exchange it.The elderly gentleman who seems to be the owner or at least supervisor was incredibly rude and blamed me for the mix-up. He begrudgingly exchanged the shirt and did not offer even the usual perfunctory apology, whether sincere or not, necessary to maintain good business. I found myself having to defuse a situation that wasnt even my fault. Frankly, I was taken aback by his unchristian behavior, which was completely devoid of any grace or tact.I will not continue doing business at any establishment where basic decency and decorum will not be upheld.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. A beautiful display of stock.
Great selection of gifts for baptisms!
It has what Catholics need.
Any religious book and or items that we need, we can find here if not they can order it for us.
