Pretty bad experience, paid deductible and was directed to here by insurance. First windshield looked fine until a crack appeared on it soon after (crack came up from under the hood / part of glass not visible), 2nd windshield is great and replaced as part of warranty. Only problem now is missing plastic trim piece. I was told by dealership, the autoglass place probably broke the tabs underneath and they could have flown off anytime. One of the trim pieces fell off, other one is loose and questionable—probably broken tabs underneath. It has been 2 months and no response from autoglass place, dealership quoted me $75 x 2 since both of these cowl trim pieces probably were damaged / broken underneath. 😔 thought this would be easy and affordable and now it is costing an arm and a leg

We had a rock hit the rear passenger window while driving down the freeway. This happened about 12:30 in the afternoon. I called two different Toyota dealerships. The first one didn’t have an appointment for over a week. The second one was more helpful and found that none of the Toyota dealerships in the DFW area had the window to replace the broken one. I was able to get an appointment on the same day with Safelite. David came out, replaced the entire window, and vacuumed up the glass, all before 5pm. He was very friendly and professional. I will call them first for any auto glass needs.

They were not in time. They did the job. They tell you not to wash your windshield for a couple of days. When needing to used the washers, the fluid wouldn’t spray much. Fluid was added and still wouldn’t work. I took my car to the car dealership and I told them this happened after getting the windshield replaced. They said the spray lines were crimped, had to be replaced and rerouted. That costed $150. They suggested I contact Safelite. I have tried calling twice. The customer service never answered AND you can’t leave a message.

Had to get my windshield replaced, and they helped me get it done nice and easy. Was about 2.5 hrs I believe before I got my car back and and looked great. Fixed good as new

Awful! Dont trust them! They use distorted after market windshield glasses. My insurance directed me to this company to replace my cars windshield. They charged me $251 for a distorted glass. Right after the work is done I checked and saw the glass is distorted. I did not agree with the given service and asked them to replace the windshield again. Their technician also checked and agreed the glass is distorted. After two weeks once again they replaced the windshield with another distorted glass. The technician who replaced the windshield later also saw and agreed the glass he put on my cars windshield is distorted. He told me the company will contact me soon and replace it with an undistorted glass. So far more than 10 days have past and nobody contacted me. This company is just a trickster!

Safelite is the only way to go if you need autoglass. Living in North Texas Ive had my fair share of chipped and cracked windshields. They do great work and wont screw you on billing.

Dropped my car off for the warranty work because the safety sensors are falling off after the original work that was done. I had to schedule a Drop before 9:30 appointment to get it in for today.I was told they would call when they were complete and that they close at 5:00 P.M.Received a message at 4:54 P.M. that work has begun on our vehicle.I have tried reaching out to Safelite throughout the day because I never heard anything - you cant reach anyone by phone.My car is not done (I guess because it is warranty and they arent getting paid, I was pushed off), now I wont have my car for work tomorrow either. The lack of communication and professionalism is staggering.It is worse customer service than going to the DMV.

After seeing some negative comments, I made a phone call a week ahead of time to verify my appointment and to make sure they had my windshield. I arrived 5 minutes early, was promptly greeted by professional staff. The process was explained to me while checking in my vehicle. I was done in 90 mins. Great customer service and a great team at the location I went to.

Visited this location as through the process of our insurance claim. Originally very impressed with service however once we picked up our vehicle, the next day when we drove it we realized the plastic cover that adheres to the window behind the rear view mirror was detached. When they came out to fix it, we were informed they had broken the plastic pieces and had attempted to “glue” it back in place. They had to order a replacement piece which should have been the first effort made. Reached out to management but have not heard back. Very disappointed.

Scheduled an appointment more than 10 days out. Got a call an hour before window closed saying technician could not make it. Fine, things happen. However instead of providing timely reschedule, they said they couldnt reschedule mobile service for 2 weeks. Absolutely horrible customer service when you screw up and do nothing to try and rectify the situation. If you screw up, own up and fix the situation in a timely manner.

My technician Tadashi arrived on time per my cell phone updates I requested. When he arrived, he explained everything in detail, stated it would take about an hour. 45 minutes later he had completed the job, removed my registration sticker from the old broken windshield and replaced it on my new windshield, explained that I could drive my vehicle 10-15 after replacement but not to take it through a car wash for at least 48hrs.He washed my windshield. and left no mess behind. I have to say this was one of the most easiest transaction I have had in a very long time. They came to my home, on time, price was very reasonable. For starters, I have written only one other review In my life. I say that so you understand I am a very patient and understanding person. My mothers window was broken by a highway worker so I called the dealership for a referral. They recommended safelite . I could not get ahold of the actual location so I booked online. I Set appointment on June 22nd for June 28th only to be canceled the day before. I was told my glass would be ready to install in 2-3 days on 4 separate occasions. I went with safelite (even though they were $200 more expensive) bc they said they could get me the glass In 3-5 days. The other companies said it would take 2 weeks which seems to be the standard. I was lied to and I can not get any resolve from the 1800 number they ask you to call. Would not recommend at all.

This could have very easily been a one star review but due to their customer service it’s a five star. I made an appointment for windshield replacement on my Audi Q7 and was told it would take 2-3 hours. I had to wait on my car because I live two hours away. After 21/2 hours they said it was almost done, finally at the four hour mark they said it’s ready. After starting my car I had several alarms go off that they couldn’t clear. They rented me a car, another Audi, not the cheapest car they could rent. They were also friendly and polite in the lobby, even offering me some of their pizza since I was there through lunch. They did get my windshield recalibrated and cleared all the alarms and even offered to bring my car to me at my house. They went above and beyond to make me happy.

When I went in today I spoke with a man at the front who I believe was named Micheal. When he went to inspect the windshield for 3 chips he told me that one of them had already been repaired before. I explained to him that that was impossible since all three occurred yesterday at the same time. He kept insisting that it was repaired already saying, “I do this everyday, I know what I’m talking about”. Clearly he does not know because he was wrong. After the repair was complete, I asked the technician outside if he thought one of the chips had been repaired before. He said, “No way, none of those had been touched before”. Why would a customer lie about a chip being fixed and why would you argue with them when they tell you it wasn’t? The guy at the front was rude and unprofessional; however, the technician was great and left the windshield looking good.

I’ve had car windows replaced in the past through other companies. The experiences were always bad. Either the glass didn’t fit right, or was wavy. Needless to say, I was nervous when my windshield got a large crack from a rock on the freeway. I put it off as long as I could then finally gave in and decided to have it replaced. I was very surprised at how affordable it was here. It was half the price of its competitors. Even more importantly, the quality and aesthetics are top notch! If I knew it would be such a quick and pleasant experience, I would have come here long ago. If we ever need another car window worked on, this will be my go to.

Made appointment online and waiting time average is two weeks. Time for the appointment got a call that he wrecked his truck and told me to reschedule. No offers for other employee coverage. Called to try to get them to send another person but no help. Had to go online to reschedule and yet another two week wait. No options to bump me up to closer appointment. Second appointment arrived and saw I had message stating the employee called in sick. No efforts to take care of me what so ever! Told to reschedule. Tried to call and make complaint but you stay on hold and absolutely no customer service at all. Called Binswanger Auto glass in Bedford. They answered the phone right away, she set me up for appointment. Very efficient. Don’t count on Safelite.

I was forced to go the Safelite route because of my insurance. First, they try to use aftermarket glass. Looking over the work order, they claim its $1100 for the glass. OEM glass for my vehicle is $571 straight from the dealer. I requested OEM glass, set the appointment a week later. Got a call after 5PM the day before my appointment saying they couldnt get the glass, and wasnt sure that theyd have it in time for the appointment. Stated perhaps if Id leave the car there they may be able to get to it. Being that its after 5, I could not call them back since the location is closed. The Safelite national number is not helpful, telling me Id have to call the location and the next appointment is a week out. I took a day off of work since the location is an hour away and they quoted three hours for replacement. I cannot cancel my day off, so Ive lost it. Ive cancelled this altogether and will go somewhere else.

Made an appointment for two cars with hail damaged windshields. Received a text message the night before with a link to instructions about dropping the car off and leaving your keys in the key drop box. Drove there, NO KEY DROP! Wasted an hour of my Sunday night. I’ll find someone else to replace the windshield.

My 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe has the “lane departure” safety system. All of the emails I received from Safelite prior to my appointment indicated that I would have to get the system recalibrated after the new windshield was installed which I planned to do once I got back home to North Carolina. When I arrived for the appointment I was told that they would NOT install the new windshield unless they also did the calibration. Another $350 and 2 1/2 hours. It would have been ok if I had know this before I showed up. Beware of using Safelite or at least ask about this surprise revenue producing policy.

Had my glass repaired today - great glass, friendly staff, and seemed like a win...until tonight when it begins to rain - my wipers (which they remove for glass replacement) were folded on top of one another and then didnt work at all. So my family and I drove home in the dark with no wipers while it is pouring. As a reviewer of many businesses, this has to be the worst rating I have ever given. I appreciate great work and friendly staff...but this is absolutely unacceptable and a poor reflection of the quality of service they provide. This could have been a total win - but this is a 0. Definitely cannot and would not recommend.Update: brought my car back and in - 100% satisfied with how they fixed things. My hope was they would finish their great service with a great fix...they did! On a Saturday too!

The window shield seems great....no problems so far

I took my car here for a small crack on my windshield. I feel they could have done a better job to get the crack completely gone because now I can see a small speck...the service was fast I was pretty much in and out but more than likely will not be returning.

The glass itself is great, but the interior of my vehicle was damaged at some point during the install. My dashboard now has a sharp indention into the material near the glass. It’s small in size, maybe only an inch big, but as someone who purchased this car brand new, I take pride in up-keeping my car. I took photos before I dropped my car off at the location in case something like this happened, and afterwards to show where the damage is. I am disappointed and expected my car to be returned to me in the same condition it was dropped off in, aside from the glass of course. I provided feedback and someone from Safelite was supposed to call regarding my bad experience and never did. I’m not about to call and gripe over the scope of things with what people are going through in this pandemic, but it’s still disappointing because something hit it hard to make that type of indention—so the technician definitely knew it happened and didn’t mention it.On top of this I had to make two separate appointments on different weekends because I was not explained how choosing after-market vs. OEM glass would affect my future services, should I need any at Honda. This was frustrating because I live about 45 minutes away and my vehicle was there for a while before I was called back to get my vehicle to reschedule and order OEM glass.After investing $1,700 into this service and windshield with this outcome, I will not recommend this location for any windshield services to any of my family and friends as a result.

I did the online quote put in year make and model of my vehicle. The quote was $900+. I had my windshield replaced before in west Texas by another company and knew that was crazy high. I contacted other companies here in Fort Worth and all quoted me more or less the same at $255. Pay more if you want for a cute commercial.

BEWARE OF INSURANCE SCAM! Insurance send you here to repair your windshield chip for free. Safelite will turn your chip into a crack and how convenient, you now need to replace your windshield for $800.Beforehand, The tech comes out and looks at my chip and says it should be no problem but off hand mentions that very rarely the windshield may crack worse but that it’s not often and he’s only seen it a few times.I understand glass is unpredictable but I do believe they either severely downplayed the risk of incidents or are deliberately careless.If he had been more forthright I would have never let them “repair” my glass. After the fact he explains that they apply pressure during the repair process and that my tiny rock chip was close to the edge, which is where they are more likely to crack.Maybe he should have mentioned that beforehand?I understand accidents happen and glass is unpredictable but I can’t help but feel like they are in bed with the insurance company and making a killing turning these free repairs into $$$ replacements.

Had a great experience once I got passed front desk. Man up front didnt seem to like his job and it showed. Technician was great, informative and cleaned my floorboards and windows! Wow, thank you!!! Maybe he should teach the front desk some customer service!

Almost feel bad about leaving a bad review for this location as I had been here 2 times previously and had good experiences. But third time was the charm I suppose. Had my front windshield replaced and all my sensors worked prior to showing up at my appointment. Had the windshield replaced and the following morning I find that my sensor for automatic headlights no longer works. Took my car in that afternoon to inform them and was basically told that it was either pure coincidence that it no longer worked or it didn’t work to begin with. Yeah ok, as if I don’t know my vehicle. So they refused to accept responsibility for the inoperative sensor and sent me on my way. Will never go back here or recommend anyone to them.

Filed a claim on Wednesday for my windshield and was scheduled for Friday. Arrived on time and was greeted quickly. A rep came out and inspected the car in a timely manner. I was told 60-90 mins for replacement of the windshield and they accomplished the repair within that time window. Looks great! Rep even vacuumed by car out. Good service. Highly recommend this Safelite location!

I truly had a wonderful experience with Safelite. My technician was able to arrive early and complete the job of changing my windshield in the time promised. He left the car pristine, I could not tail any work had been done on the car except for the beautiful new windshield!

Scheduling online was quick and easy. I was able to get in and get my back window replaced the morning after I broke it. Scheduled at 10pm and got an appointment for 9am. When I got there, they had a clean spacious lobby and the person helping me was super friendly. My car was ready just under the time they quoted me, the price was reasonable, and the work was done expertly and neatly. The technician that replaced my glass took the time to talk to me and explain the work he had done and the precautions I needed to take, and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with my service. 10/10 would recommend.

Great service by each of the team members I encounter at this location. This is in stark contrast to the poor customer service received from the Safelite call center in Columbus OH. Upon arrival at this store my claim was handled as promised, the correct part was on-hand, and my charges were reviewed with accuracy. The work completion time was reasonable - about 60 minutes. My vehicle was returned undamaged, windows washed, and interior vacuumed. WOW! Thank you Vince (technician), Rachel (local office call rep), and Joe (local store manager) for turning a bad start into a stellar finish.

Replaced windshield in my truck. Great service from great people. Explained everything thoroughly. No gimmicks, or upsell tricks. I was last in line on a Friday afternoon, and they stayed late until mine was done. Took me back to shop to show me the progress, and they even offer refreshments in the customer waiting area.

I’ve done business with you guys a few times and it was great for later models. Really dropped the ball here on a classic. Never got a call back with a quote. I went and bought one at Summit.

We used Safelite twice within a month. Once in Colorado to replace my truck windshield, and again in Texas to repair my wifes windshield as she got a small crack on the move down. Both technicians were great. Both courteous and very professional at their jobs. The technician in Fort Worth, TX, Keith, was able to get to us in the morning, way before our scheduled time frame. This cleared up our afternoon and we were able to take the kids to our community pool. Our Pueblo, CO technician, Jason, I believe his name was, was very polite and professional with my truck windshield. He notice he had the wrong windshield on his truck. My OEM had tint at the top, which I really didnt care for in the first place. He pointed out that the windshield he brought was not the same because it was without the tint. I still had him proceed with the install since I preferred no tint at the top. I couldnt ask for better service.

My Jeep had a chipped and cracked windshield that needed to be replaced. I was able to make a same day appointment. Showing up early and with in a few minutes the associate introduced himself and we were off doing a pre check of my Jeep. Everything went as planned. Staff is very nice and polite.
