I hired the company through Home Depot to repair a gate in Houston for what I was later told by other fence repair companies was a very high price. The technician used the same latch the original gate had because he said it was functional but it stopped locking the door after two weeks and that was the whole point of repairing the gate. I got in touch with territorial manager directly (agent who gave me the original quote) and one month has passed and I still have not been able to get anybody to come fix the problem. Territorial manager keeps putting off coming to property because they’re understaffed, employees get sick, or there are family emergencies. I understand we are in a pandemic but company should prioritize fixing problems with preexisting projects. I would expect better service for the prices they charge. I got in contact with the company directly instead of the territorial manager and will follow up with an update to this review depending on how issue is handled.Update:I met with the boss of the territorial manager who did the work originally. Kim Lee provided empathetic customer service and was very professional. She got Jimmy and Melody to redo the gate at no charge and I am happy with the results.

They refurbished a custom driveway gate. Did a great job. Gate looks good. But when the gate started to have problems I had to call several times to get someone to come out and look at it. The hinges that they installed on the gate started to squeal loudly when opening. The gate is 2 years old. They wanted to charge me almost $1400 to replace them and I was told they didnt know how old the hinges were. I went to the office and spoke with the manager. He told me he would look into and solve the problem. Never heard from him again. They are good on the front end but terrible when it comes to solving problems and keeping their word on the back end.

The rep came out to my house months ago and since then I’ve called five times to get the quote. They always promise they will get back to me and I have yet to receive one phone call from them. I wish them the best but due to The complete lack of any communication or follow through I will be moving on.

At first they were great and had the whole new fence up when they said they would. Now when I had issues they first were very responsive and took care of it, but after the first time I had to call multiple times to get a response, now I realize the pandemic and construction material shortage was hard on businesses but I got very frustrated with no return calls after several messages. I still have some issues that I have called about with no response from them. The fence is bowing in places. I know my 1 yr warranty just expired and I am willing to pay for the repairs needed but they never returned my calls.

Their response to providing estimates is great. Ive used this company before and they did a great job. Reasonable prices.

Buzz Fence and specifically our site Manager Leo Resurreccion did an excellent job coordinating several fence projects for us including installing aluminum fencing around our home, prepping and painting the existing iron fencing around our pool, and prepping, painting and attaching new wire fencing to the pole fencing on the back of our property. The crews that came to do the work were great. We would recommend them highly.

Buzz Fence replaced a rotted wooden fence with a 6 cedar picket fence. The color is beautiful, & the installers were very easy to work with. I explained everything over the phone and it came out better than I expected. The gate hardware they use is extremely sturdy. Got it done in 2 days! Very happy with the outcome & would call them again.

Buzz fence has done two large jobs for us and both times were great experiences. We had a 8 foot fence installed for our back and side yards about 1.6 years ago and a driveway gate installed a few months after the fence. They do GREAT work! I had an issue with the driveway gate settling funny - they came to fix it as soon as possible. The sales team, billing department and crew are all wonderful to work with. They reply to emails QUICKLY ( very important me us). I highly recommend them and do to all my family and friends.

I dont give many 1 star reviews; you have to earn it, and they did. Jim tried telling me that the replacement battery was the same as the original, but technology had made them smaller. Luckily I had a picture of the old one. He eventually replaced it without admitting he was boldface lying to me or even an apology.Also 3 months to get a remote code and battery replaced. They told me it would take a while, but that is much more than I expected.The 1 star review is for harrassing me about payment for the work that was not done. I kept telling them that until you finish the job you wont get paid.

I used Buzz fence previously for a vinyl fence project and had mixed results. With this last hail storm I decided to reach back out and give them another try. Again it took several requests to ever get the estimate and when it arrived it needed to be revised. The insurance company reached out to David directly with a request to itemize the bid. David somehow couldnt understand this request and not only refused to itemize the bid but told us to find another company if we didnt like his prices. Poor customer service and completely unprofessional staff!

Great experience with installer Gilbert Ortega, he explained what he was doing, had a good eye for anesthetics and did quality work ! Very pleased with the results. Shout out to David Harrison our salesman for paying attention to what we needed and following through to make sure we were happy.

I have called three times in reference to receiving an estimate. Never received a call back. When I spoke with them this morning I was advised the lady I needed to talk to would be on the phone for a long time and she would call me later today. Never received a call back. I suppose unless you want an estimate on a large money job they don’t have much time for you

If you want a company you can trust and count on for getting the job done right the first time then this is probably not the kind of company you would want to be dealing with. I thought that since they are a subcontractor associated with Home Depot that would be safer . I WAS WRONG . After waiting almost a month for the installation of my very expensive wood fence and also they already had my money paid in full I saw the workers had placed the fence post on the out side. I call Ron to let him know what was happening and his remark was he painted the arrows on the grass in the wrong direction . He said he realized what he had done. I ask should they stop with the install and he said let them finish to secure the property. Well long story short after 3weeks the fence crew shows up after two reschedules and make the backside of my property right but the fence between the house next door has the post on there side. The fence crew informed my they had completed the repairs. I said but the side between the houses has not been fix . I call Ron and he said that’s all they were going to do .Normally that would not be a big deal but I payed and extra $600 for a wood bumper along the bottom of the fence that help keep the Pickett off the ground. Since they put the fence in like they did I don’t have access to replace the bumper.I trusted this company with my hard earned dollars and what I got was short of what I was promised.I know this company has plenty of good reviews but also have some Dissatisfied customers and I’m one them.

Love these guys! I got a custom gate from them. They came out, measured where it would go, talked to me about options, and I placed the order. Then they scheduled the install date and built my gate.Heres some things I didnt know about installation before starting out:At least in my case, on the scheduled install date, a technician came out to set the poles. That means he digs holes for the poles that the gate will hang from, and sets and concretes the poles in place. That concrete has to set before they can actually hang the gate. So (in my case) it was the next day that two technicians came out and hung the gate. Its beautiful, opens and closes like butter!It is yet a third date that another pair of technicians come out to install the opener. In my case that was not on the third day, but about a week later, because of weather delays. But the office got that scheduled, too, and they came out and got my opener installed. Then they showed me how it all works.I love it! Beautifully constructed gate with a remote opener for my car, a keypad for the yard man, and a couple of other cool tricks that Ill let you find out about when you get your own custom gate with an electric opener :)(This photo was taken before the opener was installed)

Overall we are pleased with how our front entry dog containment gate turned out. We did a custom design and the fabricator did a good job creating what we wanted, although it is slightly different than what I had envisioned, we are happy with it. The cost was on par with the quality of the work and installation, and was within what we had budgeted. The only drawback was communication- we didnt hear from them on the status of the order or installation unless we reached out, and a sketch from the fabricator before the build would have been nice. But all in all we are satisfied and would use Buzz again in the future.

Called confirmed a date to get quote rep Danny came out argued about my city fencing codes which later double checked proved him wrong and after 2 weeks still has not provided quote I instead am going with DFW FENCING they showed up early and provided and itemized quote on spot and offered to work with us on price definitly reccomend them instead

They come highly recommended but my experience was absolutely terrible. The estimates were incorrect, which was also partly my fault but this was my first experience with fence building and they are the professionals. They put in the wrong fence and much more went wrong during the install. Absolutely awful. If you get a sales person named David Ball, just run!In response to owners response: Your understanding is incorrect. I have never described the fence as beautiful and have someone redoing your work.

David was very responsive and great with getting the estimate done with reasonable pricing and putting our fence project on the calendar. Buzz Custom Fence installed a 3 tall ornamental metal fence with gates onto my CMU retaining wall and replaced the hinges on my driveways ornamental metal gate. Joel Alonso and his crew did an excellent job. Im fully satisfied with the work performed and its appearance.

One section of panels in my vinyl fence blew out during a storm. They were not damaged, just needed to be placed back in the frame. It was the second time this has happened, so Mike suggested putting screws in to hold this section in place for the future. As it is a white fence I wanted them placed on the inside, so they would only be seen from inside the yard, not by everyone driving by on the street which it faced. I thought that is how anyone would have wanted it. Unfortunately, this was not communicated to the installer. I was watching him replace the panels from inside the yard, but got a phone call I had to take inside and did not notice that when he began putting in the screws he moved to the outside of the fence. When I did, he had drilled all the holes and placed a couple screws. Since the ugliness was already done on the outside I had to let it be. So, there are these dark screws framing one panel of my white fence and it looks like someone has machine-gunned holes in my fence.The service was prompt and reasonably priced. I would use them again for any fence issues, just recommend that you not assume they are doing what you expect, but be there to see. This is probably good advice for any company you hire.

From start to finish, Buzz communicated the entire process with us. They were extremely patient as we had to go back & forth with our neighbors several times before we were able to come to an agreement with the fence. We thought we were going to be 2 weeks out once we booked our appointment, but they were able to get it done sooner than expected. Our fence transformed our backyard (or maybe it was because our fence was terrible to begin with), but the job done by Buzz was great. We’ve already had several neighbors ask who we went through for the fence.

I have used Buzz Custom fence several times - for metal gate installation, remote gate, and wood fence removal and replacement. Every time they have been responsive, efficient, professional and high quality. They REALLY know their stuff and I will continue to use them again!

My experience with Buzz fence is mixed. I had a fence replaced around the pool. There was a mix up in ordering the two gates entering the pool. This was corrected however I would caution everyone to get the design on paper to ensure no mess up.The installation was not done to the standard portrayed by the reviews. The concrete and dirt from the holes dug was spread on my yard which was not appreciated. The fence holes were not completely filled in to the existing patio which made it difficult to level once the cement was hardened.Finally the two gates were not aligned. There was an attempt to even them by bending the gate poles but to no avail.The job took over 3 months to complete.The fence itself looks good and appears to be of high quality. Time will tell.I was expecting a better job considering the cost.

Once the job was started, it was completed in a timely manor.Did a beautiful job. Just hope that it is of good quality.

This company has good reviews, had a good quote and Ive seen good examples of their work nearby. The problem was that after inspecting the site it took over 10 days to get the quote and I had to ask for it then. When I also didnt get a timely response to my follow-up inquiry about changes to the scope of the project I selected a different fence company. In hindsight, I wish I had waited longer for Buzz Fence to respond, because their quote was good and the company I selected did poor quality work and didnt honor their quoted price or provide new materials as specified.Buzz Fence Company also just sent me a Word document that is nothing more than a document that says it was created with a previous version of Word.

I had a last minute notification of a damaged/non-working gate on my fence. I was unable effect the repair myself and was in the process of selling the residence. A Buzz Fence representative came out within a couple of days. The quote was reasonable. My gate was repaired within a week. Fantastic job and highly recommended by one stressed out (at the time) former owner.

I was in need of replacing two sections of my 8 foot fence, both that just happened to be the most visible from the street. I turned to Buzz because Id been impressed when Id seen other jobs theyd completed in the area. The finished project is exactly what Id asked, and hoped for. The gentleman Buzz sent to complete the project did excellent work, was promptly on time each day, and even showed up on a Sunday! The two decorative gates, along with the fence itself, is one of the most skilled fence jobs Ive seen! The completed project adds more to the scenery of the house than I could have imagined! When Im in need of additional fence work Buzz will be the first number I call! Thanks for a great looking, and high-quality made fence Buzz!

Although my fence looks good, Buzz fencing does not communicate with the customers during the process, they do not address customers concerns in a timely manner, and still havent scheduled a final inspection of the completed fence and go over warranty (they completed fence 3 weeks ago). If you want good customer service go elsewhere!

Let me start by saying that my iron fence FINALLY looks great! It has been a process, long and drawn out. The fence that I wanted, and was described on the contract that I signed, was not the fence that was installed. It took 2 more weeks to get the correct fence installed. Installation quality on the first attempt was inconsistent and when the fence was reinstalled with the correct panels, there were quite a few adjustments that were made to make sure that it was installed consistently and correctly. If you like having a job done twice to get it done right, then this is the company for you. If you like having to supervise workers to keep them working and off their cell phones, then this is the company for you. If you, like me, are annoyed by these things, then perhaps youd do better elsewhere. They eventually got it done right, but I wont be using them again.

David Ball and crew were very professional. Work was quick and good. No follow up from sales though other than this survey request. Have a couple of areas to attend to, but will work with them directly and see how that works out.

BUYER BEWARE! Do you love Walmart’s customer service? Waiting in line way too long with a cashier that doesn’t care, when you ask to speak to a manager you are treated like the very last priority and only comes after about 45 minutes of you waiting?Yeah I don’t like that either. However Buzz Custom Fence makes Walmart’s Customer service look like a 5 star Resort that you didn’t even have to pay for.The office is full of women who obviously don’t understand or know the trade. The workers are subcontracted, leave trash in the yard, don’t speak English, and do not care about doing good work. Spend a little more and hire a Legitimate contractor this is not the one!

We had a combination of wrought iron and pipe fencing with custom gates installed. We were getting compliments on it before it was even complete. Will confidently give recommendations.

Buzz Fence finished our fence install yesterday and it is more than I expected. I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend this company. There was a lot of communication between the initial quote and actual install due to all of the rain between December and now. We never had any problem with our calls or emails being returned. I was called into work last minute but spoke to Danny on the phone while he was at my house looking at my fence. Told him what I wanted to do and he said he would get back with me shortly on a quote. Never heard from him again, will never use Buzz fencing or recommend it to people.

The initial process of communication was painfully slow. After the third phone call to them I finally received a response and the ball finally got rolling. Everything was great after that. The work was done well and the fence looks great!

Second time I have used these guys, great work and a quality job. First time I had them move a wrought iron fence back about 4 feet. The most recent job was to reset a post on our driveway gate that my teen daughter backed into. I also had them paint the entire driveway gate and it looks as new again. My next project will be to have them paint my entire back fence. I would recommend, you wont be disappointed.

Hoyt came and gave a quote on removing some old wood from existing posts, installing new wood and one new post, and replacing a gate. Carlos and Max came and removed the old wood and gate, installed the new post, gate and new wood, and hauled off the old materials. All done in less than five hours and with excellent quality. After going over the job with a fine-tooth comb, I told Victor Id like one final tweak. Rick came and understood my concern. He patiently toiled for a solid hour and left me a completely happy camper.

After I called, them arrived on the agreed upon day to look at the fence and generate an estimate. They gave me the estimate of the cost right there on the spot. The work was scheduled, done as scheduled, done well, and cost exactly as estimated. No surprises...I liked that.

I cannot comment on their workmanship but I can comment on their customer service. I submitted a request through their website on Thursday, March 26 for a quote to install a fence around a swimming pool area of a house I was closing on. The next day I got a call saying a sales person would contact me about my quote. So far, so good. On Wednesday, April 1 I received a call from the sales person asking that I re-send the drawing of area I needed fenced - apparently I attached the wrong one the first time – which I did the same day. A week later on April 8, I sent a follow up email to the sales person asking for an update on the quote. Nearly a week after that, I have yet to get a response.I am the type of person that is generally accommodating to the service industry and will give you latitude if warranted - but only if you communicate with me.Sorry Buzz Fence but you will not be getting my business.

We had an existing steel fence that was powder coated to separate our pool area from the side yard and house for security. The fence had deteriorated over the years and the coating had failed creating a rust issue. We called on Buzz to repair or replace the fence and they recommended replacement since it would be more cost effective.The final product met and actually exceeded our expectations. The fabricator was a fellow named Martin who did an outstanding job as we had several requirements and wanted to modify the existing location somewhat.The powder coating also appears to be superior to our previous product.We would highly recommend Buzz Fence if you are in need of fencing since they are very responsive to requests from the customer and have a real desire for customer satisfaction.

Buzz Custom Fence stepped in and saved the day when our original fence company refused to repair a broken fence that they installed. Every part of my experience with Buzz Fence was excellent. Although we did have Buzz Fence provide a quote for us a few years ago, we made the mistake of choosing a different company. We called Buzz again this year to come out and fix our existing gates that were already falling apart (in less than 2 years!) and to install a new fence in our backyard. We are extremely pleased with the results. The crew came out and finished everything in one day and the new fence is beautiful! We now also have functioning gates (finally!!). I would give Buzz Fence 10 stars if I could and will definitely recommend them to friends. Will call for any future outdoor fence needs.

Buzz Custom Fence did an outstanding job with our replacement fence, so much so that our daughter who is in 1st grade was amazed and pleased. I strongly recommend Buzz Custom Fence to anyone.I called Buzz Custom and within just a few days met with Mr. Gomez who explained step by step and in full detail of what I was to expect using them. He answered all our questions that day and showed us up front the pricing. We decided to schedule an installation date for Aug 4th. I later received a call saying they could install our fence a week earlier which was great! The crew came by last Wednesday and tore down the existing fence and set the posts for the new fence. The following day our fence was complete and honestly you couldnt tell that they had even been there! Other than the great job that they did.The ladies in the office were also very helpful with a few questions we had before they installed the fence and if they werent able to assist us they got us somebody who could. Needless to say my family and our new puppy are pleased with the job Buzz Custom Fence did.

Buzz Fence installed some wrought iron fencing at my house and it is perfect. The communication from the folks at the office to the communication with the men putting up the fence is first class. I found out about Buzz Fence through a neighbor who was getting a new pipe fence installed. I called them to get a quote for 100 ft of 4 ft pipe fence and Hoyt beat all of the competition on price. The install went extremely smoothly and looks fantastic. We are greatly pleased with the way it turned out and think it was well worth what we paid for it. Id use Buzz Fence again in a heartbeat.

I wont ever do business with this company. They gave me an estimate for removing my back fence and resetting it. The estimate also included repair to my side fence. They took longer than expected to actually come out,and then said they would need to do a second estimate on the side fence, because it nowneeded to be pulled up as well. I dont trust them at this point and ceased all work.

Our fence looks fabulous!! For days after the installation, we had neighbors and passers-by stop and tell us how great it looks and to ask who did the installation. The crew was professional, neat, and worked very quickly. I would recommend Buzz Fence Co. to anyone for their fence needs!

Quoting went very smoothly but after I placed the order I had to wait around a month and a half before I could be fit on the schedule (for a 1 day job). Fast forward a month and a half to the day before my install - Buzz Fencing had the wrong materials and would have to delay my install until three days later (Wednesday). Not sure why they couldn’t check the materials over the course of a month and a half? Wednesday rolls around and they tell me that the install will likely be delayed until Thursday or maybe Friday and they would let me know on Thursday what the plan was. Today was Thursday and I never heard from them. So maybe tomorrow they’ll install my fence, maybe not? Their inability to deliver in a timely manner leaves me without any confidence at this point.

This is the first time we have had anyone install a fence for us. We had alot of estimates and Buzz was our best option. They were right on schedule and because of a deck being poured we had to have them come back for completion. We called as soon as the deck was complete and Buzz was out the following day. . Great job and the fence looks great. The materials they use are high quality. I highly recommend them. Thanks Danny and his crew.

Job was done correctly and they even did it sooner than originally scheduled! The installers were polite and considerate of our animals needs. Definitely recommend.
