My tire was leaking air really quickly. The staff checked my tire right away and fixed it. I only waited about 15 minutes. Great service!

Total lack of professionalism. I showed up to get a state inspection, and it happened to be the end of the month. The owner looked at me and the entire group of customers behind me and says, You wanna get an inspection at the end of the month? Good luck with that! Hahaha! He says this looking out at a large group of customers behind me in order to get some kind of consensus and approval. Granted it was the end of the month, but really theres no reason to be rude and alienate a prospective customer. Prospect was as far as it went. I turn heel and walked out. Theres really no reason to be rude to anyone for that matter. Ill never go back to this place and it doesnt matter if he happened to have the best and most convenient service on the planet.Look at some of the previous reviews, youll see a pattern.Other reviews call them rude as well.

Ive been using Central Automotive for a few years (oil changes, tires & brakes). The team is always friendly and I never feel like Im being over-charged.I had a flat and they came to my work (which is a few feet from their shop) to fill my tire, so I could drive it safely to their shop. I also brought my car in for a state inspection and in the back seat had a windshield wiper that I forgot to replace. When I picked my car up from the inspection, the new windshield wiper was installed. Awesome customer service!

I called at 4:15pm asking if they were open for inspection stickers and the guy on the phone said yes but the machine shuts down at 5 p.m. he told me I would need to get there by 4:30 p.m. I left work promptly which is about 500 feet away and was at the counter by 4:22 p.m. where I was greeted with a smile. I told the guy behind the counter I was here for an inspection sticker and he told me that they are closed for the day. I told him I just called and the guy on the phone told me to get there by 4:30 p.m. To which he replied, Three people came in since then.So in 7 minutes three people showed up, and there were only two customers waiting in the waiting room.On my way out one of them was called up to the counter because her cars ready.They could have had the decency to save me a trip and tell me on the phone to come back the next day instead of lying to me.

This shop will provide sound work. The job will be completed with quality, but at an unrealistic charge to the customer. I had a starter placed in my vehicle that was marked-up almost 200% before labor. I understand that there will be a mark-up on parts (this is the nature of the business); however, Central Automotive Repair really takes the mark-up to the next level. Feeling like you are getting ripped off and actually getting ripped off are two different things - discerning the two may take researching the part you had installed. Additionally, the employee with whom I spoke, was rude; absolutely 0 customer service skills.In summary, quality work, BRUTAL PART(S) MARK-UP, poor customer service. If money is not an object and you simply just care about the job getting done then this is your place; otherwise, I would go somewhere else.

Mark was great. Everyone at Central was polite & friendly and I had my car out of there within 24 hours of bringing it in (which had extensive damage). Thank you Central!

Place was recommended as my mechanic for 25yrs had a stroke...You need to make an appointment, only inspection can walk in. I made appointment for 8am.I was looking to get ac fixedAc compressor was needed and estimated at 1200, (800 for part 400 for labor and tax..)It didnt take long 20 mins for them to come to this conclusion.It would take 4hrs for the part to arrive once ordered before the installation could start...which would be a couple hours to do.I didnt have the day off so declined to a later date..Ac compressor which fits my auto is only 350 at autozone...with lifetime warranty after 20% discount.I was charged 32.99 for the analysis..1.00 for hazardous materials and 1.00 for parts..what parts?...35.05 total...Would be credited toward the 1200.00Also my battery case cover was ajar popping up my hood which i noticed driving down rt 9 after...pulled over and fixed battery casing so my hood closed properly.Will find someone else to put in my 350 ac compressor...
