After years of being my favorite pizza and ice cream place, I am sad to say it looks it’s over. Despite having all the same signage, this is not the same business. I’m only giving two stars because it used to be so great before the new owners took over. Since then the ice cream machine broke and they are reselling cheap ice cream at extremely high prices. One of the staff told me they don’t think it will ever be fixed. They are lying to their customers about having “all natural” and “organic” ingredients and charging a premium for it. Super sad and a shame to the old owners. Also maybe illegal..? I wish someone with a real passion for this business had taken it over but Franklin will have to just accept the loss of its best ice cream and pizza place.

I love local ice cream shops. Fresh vibrant flavored ice cream is wonderful. Spruce Pond did NOT hit the mark. The flavors were bland. Ice cream was gritty. And WAY too expensive (4 small cups of ice cream cost over $30!!). Not worth it.

Ice cream is to die for. Pizzas and calzones are great too. Its a nice little getaway right in town.Update 8/2/2021: I dont know whats happened recently but the selection has dwindled and the quality isnt as good. I hope things improve but I wont be going back until I hear its back to its regular selection & quality.

My sister and I came here for lunch and ordered the Lightning Rod pizza. The small was just enough for the two of us. It was very yummy.We also got ice cream. My sister opted for the Cookies ‘n Cream and I got the Cardamom Ginger. We both enjoyed it (a 9/10 for both). The cardamom ginger was quite scrumptious. Very prominent cardamom flavor with little ginger bits. We both got the kiddy size, but it was surprisingly a lot of ice cream.Customer service was great. Due to Covid, there wasn’t any indoor seating available, but there was plenty of outdoor seating. There were 4 picnic tables by the parking lot under some trees for shade as well as a few benches on the patio. A nice treat overall!

Not worth the money, at least until they figure out curbside pickup. We go here whenever my son is craving pizza because they are wonderful with allergies! We have 1 person allergic to cows milk and they have a goat cheese pizza. Unfortunately they got the order wrong and the one my son wanted wasnt there. That happens but the really frustrating thing is that once your pizza is ready you have to stand in the (very slow) line of everyone ordering ice creams. There should be a separate line for order pickup. I was 3rd in line and waited 17 minutes to pick up an already paid for order. It seems a very simple fix. Please let us know when youve adjusted the pick up practice!

Some employees here are exceedingly rude to customers. I accidentally parked in the wrong place when there was NOBODY around or waiting for me to move and my partner was berated for this. I was more than happy to move the vehicle but the way we were asked was completely out of line. Great pizza, poor service. Not recommended.

I guess this place is better in the summer and better for lunch. If I come by this way again during that time, will have to try the ice cream. I like ice cream better than pizza. Partly because good pizza is hard to find and bad ice cream on a hot day isn’t a bad day.Had the calzone and watched the guy fire up a pizza. Calzone was ok and small for the price - 10 BUCKS!! The guy wasn’t as enthusiastic about his wood oven as I was. So if he wasn’t interested in his oven, I wasn’t interested in him making me a pizza. Maybe it was late and he wanted to go home. Oh well.This is a summer date kind of place. Good company is probably what makes this place better.

If i could give no stars then i would. Horrible icecream waste of money. Ordered strawberry sorbet and its plain. No flavor and waste of my money. Also i asked for a kiddie size and end of being charged for a small. When all i wanted was icecream on this beautiful dayGo somewhere else dont waste your money here !!

I have worked in many customer service jobs personally and am generally super forgiving about any issues I encounter, but when servers are just rude to me out of the gate I cant deal. Assume customers are reasonable and will understand your store policies before you show aggression toward them. Ive never treated even the worst customers the way I was treated today for such a trivial reason, lol.

Avery good place to eat realy good it organic ya finly . but i hv gone thr many times still do but thy need to change some of the food items. Its ben sam sandwiches are the same . so i feel thy need a little different thing .

We travel over 40 minutes to get pizza hear. We love it! Best organic pizza we’ve ever had. The owner is a great guy and we love the business he’s set up. It is a little pricier than other pizzas but that’s because of the quality ingredients. So worth it!

Wish I could say the salad was good but 9$ for a bowl of lettuce and stale tasteless croutons was not worth it! Pizza is tasteless.... not impressed

Very slow and very expensive. good ice cream and hot fudge but got a small for 7 dollars and it was tiny with hardly any fudge. Ice Cream machine in RI is way better and worth the extra time traveling.

Delicious ice cream & sorbet! We were impressed that our server changed her gloves between customers, wore her mask correctly, and made sure to give us a pen from the clean cup. They are clearly taking customer saftey seriously, and because of that, well be back for more frozen sweet treats.

Amazing menu, the only problem is trying to pick only one (or two, or three) things. Good for the whole family. Thoughtful and deliciously balanced ingredients, organic and fresh. Staff is friendly, smart, and outgoing. The owner has a good food philosophy that informs the menu and the result is so much more than you might expect.

The most delicious icecream!

Order small vanilla soft serve in a cup and large vanilla soft serve with flat bottom cone ....Their soft serve ice creams is was watery .. not the first but definitely the last time I drop +/- $15.00 on small watered down ice cream!!! Ive give them the benefit of the doubt on the prior watered down purchases, July heatI DONT WANT THIS BAD REVIEW TO REFLECT ON THE SERVERS THERE ! It wasn’t there fault but if u look down at there side walks, prior issues evident ! Tough place to be a server with delays and covid 19 but I hope management addresses this issue

You need to go if you are an ice cream lover!! Great variety, ask for samples. Im stick on the peppermint stick.. ice cream and frappé. Service is always helpful and friendly. I will try the pizza one day soon. Im told theyre delicious.

SPC is a nice little place but the wait times are extraordinary long for ice cream and the prices are on the high side. $8.00 for a 2 scoop sundae? The wood fire oven is a nice touch and the food is above average. The younger kids that work there are pleasant enough but the more seasoned staff can be pretty salty.

Whatever you do, dont get the mint Oreo frozen yogurt. I swear they just squeeze some crest into a cup in the back then add some black food dye. The birthday cake ice cream is also about 90% chocolate sprinkles with chocolate cake mixed in. It tasted like wax and disappointment. The pizza smells nice, did not try it though.

The pictures of the pizza looks good but I wouldnt step foot in this place looking at the prices, which seems to be what many are pointing out as well. Greed has become infectious and exists at all levels of income. It truly is disgusting! A $21 one topping pizza is beyond absurd! Someone said it is $8 for an ice cream. If only people understood that you can make more with reasonable prices and a bigger volume. You dont need to gouge people to make money.

Excellent food, and the owner is a super nice guy. Their service is also top notch. We’ve ordered work lunches from them several times and everything is always ready right on time! If you’re looking for organic food, this is the place to be!

Very delicious ice cream at good portion sizes. The ice cream is homemade and you can really taste the difference many unique flavors offered at that window service and during the colder months from the indoor counter. They also serve a selection of pizzas pasta and other confectionery is from the inside counter. Very conveniently located off 495 with ample parking. Good view from the outside seating of the local pond behind the restaurant. A great place for family or for those appreciating delicious homemade ice cream will definitely repeat

I wouldnt say this a bad place for Ice Cream but the ice cream had no fillers in it. The heath bar only had one piece and the apple pie the same. But flavor of the strawberry ice cream was awesome but again no strawberries in it. The prices are a bit steep for what u get. Did not try the pizza but it smelt wicked good

Melissa was a lovely waitress. Pizza were great. Prices are very reasonable for ORGANIC food. The ice cream sizes are enormous and also reasonable for the amount you get. Love that they are using compostable straws and Greenware too!

I love love love this place. This is one of the ONLY restaurants in Massachusetts that claims to be organic and *actually* follows through. The owner truly cares about this earth and its inhabitants by usuing clean and sustainable ingredients that help promote humane treatment of animals and less pesticide runoff into our world. Not to mention the food is so incredibly amazing that it blows my mind every time. Amazing!!!

Food was pretty good, not great. Definitely not worth $35 for a sandwich, a small pizza, and 2 - no, make that 3 coffees...refills at this place are not free, despite the servers misleading Can I get you a refill?. (I HATE being mislead!) There were some good-looking items in the display case that I would have considered taking home if only I could have gotten the attention of anyone on the other side of the counter. (Three people working there and I was the only customer. When I finally did get attention, it was less-than-friendly so... no thanks.) Lovely pond-side location, so I might go back someday to try the ice-cream... Or maybe not.

I was never a big fan of flatbread pizza, but theirs is definitely above average. So when I learned they now have regular-thickness bread and fat-bread pizzas I decided to try the former. It was very good; they cook it in a coal fired oven and its all organic. One of the best pizzas Ive had in Franklin (I think BBC pizza is better though). But its a nice place to go, and they make really good ice cream as well.

Service is prompt. Environment is clean and well kept. The staff are professional and clean. And the food is great!!!

Watched a customers kid sneezing all over the counter and it was never cleaned after. It was gross ! The worker saw it happening and didnt do anything about it neither did the parents.Specifically asked if peppermint stick ice cream had bits and pieces of peppermint in it was told yes and had none in two different cups. Your prices are also outrageous.Will not return again.

I just had a yummy frape from there but I guess they r now using a paper straw. I didnt care to use a paper straw it gets flimsy after a few sips n falls apart .love their ice cream choices they have many 😀. But if u prefer a plastic straw like me bring one.

Their flatbreads are delicious and they have great dessert options. Also the waitresses are very friendly. Because the flatbreads/pizzas are made in a wood oven expect a good wait before you get to eat.

Thin crust pizza was good, but way to expensive especially when you know there is no such thing as organic food in Massachusetts Just in case you think you are eating healthy. Calling it organic is just a way for spiking the price up by making you think it is. Being Ignorant is expensive.

Went here for the first time last weekend. I tried the cannoli flavor...it was amazing! Ive never had an ice cream based off of a cannoli. My friend had the pecan pie flavor and fell in love. Definitely found my summer go-to for the Franklin area!

Recently moved to the area with my girlfriend. This has quickly risen to one of our favorite places. They do really well with service times for a small staff. The ice cream is great with a large variety of flavors. The sundaes are a price steal as it includes whipped cream, sauce, nuts and cherry. The pizza and food is a bonus, and it is prepared right in the kitchen. You can watch them make your pizza. I cant wait to sit at their deck tables overlooking the water

Never had a bad meal or service here. Food is not only organic but delicious. Pizza is perfection and chicken parm sandwich is heaven and then the organic brownie sundae. Yum.

Loved this place! I have driven by for years but never stopped in to try organic flat bread pizza. So yummy! Me and my mom ordered flat bread pizza with sweet potato, onion on a white pizza topped with arugula tossed with maple syrup. Pizza cooked right in front of us in wood burning oven. Ordered organic craft beers . My go to place for pizza. Frozen yogurt and ice cream delicious too!! Service was great considering they had a light staff and a bus load of college kids had just arrived.

Terrible for ice cream.. the service. Asked for a scoop of cookie dough with a scoop of strawberry... with a waffle cone (that is not even a real waffle cone) the KID thought I said chocolate not strawberry so I told her... she made it again... I assume quickly because I tilted it a little to eat it like a normal human being and the entire thing just plopped on the ground. Im sure this will give everyone reading a laugh and thats all that came of this... if you wanna pay a lot of money for lack of quality this is the place youll do that.

Who ever said they have the best chicken parm ever needs to be banned from the internet. The sandwich was so soggy it fell apart and had all of 3 tiny slices of grilled chicken on it. Save your ten dollars and go somewhere else.

Not very good ice cream. The ice cream was not frozen and it was very soft. For a small cone at 5.99 they just about give you a scoop.Will not return. There is better places for ice cream. To bad thought we found a new place.

Our ice cream flavors were very good. Not cheap, but huge portions (kiddie was at least 2 huge scoops). The lackluster part was the ambiance. Theres a lot of wasted outdoor space that could be turned into a cute picnic area or kids play area. And theres no water views from the porch.
