Best selection of high-quality antiques in the area, in my opinion, with fair to more expensive prices; wide variety and staff will help you load furniture into vehicle if you pull it up to curb

Go with your walls up. Wonderful items, but KNOWN for rude, arrogant front desk staff. Have personally experienced this on multiple occasions and also know of others who have similar complaints. You go out for fun weekend antiquing only to have it tarnished by employees who seem annoyed with legitimate questions or checking out customers. Not sure where the arrogance comes from, but it’s hefty and across the board. Again, great selection, but just a warning to anyone who goes- don’t expect high quality customer service and you’ll have a better time.

This is one of my favorite antique places to visit. Theyre not filled with generic grandma porcelain - they have a great eye and find a lot of truly unique, cool, historic pieces. I always drop by for a visit when Im headed through the area.

Large store, with consignment items and booths set up with antiques. I purchased 2 antique cameras from this store, in very good condition. My only issue with this store was the restrooms were closed, even for customers. I understand that they are trying to avoid large amounts of people using their restrooms, but when you spend money on their merchandise a bathroom is expected. Overall, I would come back to the store as the employees were very helpful and nice and the antiques varied.

My wife and I love taking daytrips to Frederick for antiquing. And Emporium is Antiques is always on our list to hit up.Emporium Antiques is huge with several different sections. It has a couple different entrances and usually has plenty of street parking nearby.Keep in mind, each booth is different vendors so of course pricing will vary depending on whatever booth you are in.We have found some really fabulous pieces here from little decorative pieces, wall art, gorgeous frames and furniture. The employees are super helpful with bringing heavier items out to your car. They had pretty good COVID protocols in place during the earlier stages of reopening, which I appreciate.

I was expecting over priced antiques being in the heart of Frederick. I was pleasantly surprised to find all kinds of items, at all kinds of price range. And the place was huge! Could easily spend hours shopping around the multiple areas of the store. From furniture to collectible stamps and everything in between.

My family has been shopping at this antique store for many years. Weve bought all sorts of items and everything has been of great quality. The warehouse itself is a huge space that is divided into smaller pods. Each pod is a different seller. But the sellers arent there, you are free to browse and stroll and you pay at the end at one of two registers.

One of my favorite pastimes in town. Used to come to browse when I was a kid to kill time. Glad to come back here from time to time to peruse the selection of well curated antiques. No matter what I always find a gem here.Youll need time to look, its not a venue to rush through as there are so many items to browse. Personally I always find something perfect for me or family in section E4, it never disappoints. Great place to get gifts for anyone. There is definitely something for everybody. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they helped reserve an item for future pickup just the other week. Even helped me load it into the back of my car. Theyre also very knowledgeable on the history of various items and old US companies. Thanks guys.

Definitely worth a couple hours browsing the many treasures. There are lots of vendors so pretty good chance you will find something you like. I found lots of things I liked. There is some overlap on items but not enough to bore you and ultimately it benefits the consumer because vendors have to keep their prices competitive. Should you find yourself in Frederick and like antiquing this place is a winner.

A great spot for antiques just outside of downtown Frederick. This is part of our usual antiques circuit in Frederick. Depending on what you are hunting for, they have everything from antique furniture to comic books to Lionel trains to art, etc. Prices are reasonable, too, at least for items that weve found and brought home. Weve been to a lot of antiques places where you leave wondering what theyve been smoking to justify some of the prices of items and this is not one of those places! Also, it is all one floor with wide aisles, so it is wheelchair accessible.

Huge but high priced conglomeration of stalls, most well-turned and maintained by their lessees. Downside?...not enough furniture. Strengths? Great collection of Art Deco pottery, ephemera, maps, books and postcards. An adjoining consignment area offers more affordable items. Also, excellent collection of new old stock history books.

Great selection and prices are pretty reasonable. The customer service checking out was lacking. Bought about $600 worth of items and they didn’t offer to wrap anything (mirror) and just rolled the bookcase we bought out the door and then left. The women at the front register are so incredibly rude and snotty. It was appalling and rather disappointing. My mother found this little trinket she loved and unfortunately, we weren’t carrying cash since we both switched handbags for the shopping day. The women were so rude when my mother handed them the card. I know that it charges the company to process a card but if you don’t want to make the sale, you probably shouldn’t sell items low if you’re going to be so ignorant about it. Very unprofessional.

Well-done and gorgeous shop that goes on forever, however customer service is hit or miss. Tried to purchase a small item, but the three people behind the counter were all wrapped up with the one other customer there at the time. I was invisible, yet despite that I was still in dire need of a restroom and my meter was running out.. Do they have public restrooms? When you have a place that huge to browse through, you need restrooms and maybe even a coffee shop.

I have been shopping at Emporium since I was 20 years old, about 20 years now.I dont know what kind of experience the previous reviews have antique shopping, but from my experience it is one of my favorite places. Great selection and good prices, unique items. My other favorite antique places are Rennigers in PA, Brimfield flea market MA, and Pittsburgh flea market. Emporium is the best in VA, MD, DC- hands down. The dealers that work there are helpful. If you are looking for lighting, check out the nearby shop Brass and Copper Polishing Shop for a large selection of antique lighting from every decade!

This place is HUGE!!! It even has a consignment shop attached to it. Unfortunately, this place doesnt have a lot of things I am interested in. The items that people offer here are mostly elegant decorative pieces such as china, dishware, furniture, and older imported goods from other countries. If you are an interior designer, this is a gold mine.
