Really nice shop with a lot of beautiful and unique pieces from around the world. Owner was welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back.
I must say Paul certainly does have some great stuff! ALOT of it! This place was almost like a well organized museum of relics from around the world! It has a very well laid out functional showroom with a huge warehouse behind it, then a scrap yard beyond that. Im usually one looking for potential bargains or furniture to repurpose so unfortunately I mostly struck out here but it was a fun, educational tour of old world wonders. Im no expert on antiques but Pauls to me feels like a place you go if you have an unlimited budget, not a place you plan to barter on.On a side note they do offer storage of items until you are ready to pick up, paying in full required. Also they have delivery options available through outside contractors. Happy hunting!
Beautiful re-engineered antiques.
Wow!!! There certainly is alot of stuff. It would take a day to see it all. The vibe in side was good.
This place is fantastic! Be sure and go early if btowsing as there are so many beautiful things to see. I ran out of time so will be back to explore the upstairs. Friendly service and clean envirinment.
Amazing place! All the pieces were so special, & beautifully restored with such attention to details!
This place seemed like it had a lot of great stuff and we were excited to look around; but as soon as we walked in, we were stopped at the door by an elderly gentleman who informed my husband that his face covering was not acceptable. My husbands face shield, which currently IS acceptable as a face covering, covered his entire face, but this guy wearing a bandana as a mask told him, You know that doesnt count as a mask, right? And would not let us in until he checked with Paul. No thanks. Educate yourself before you turn people away for stupid reasons.
We had such a great time as we browsed the furniture on our own and was followed up by the owners sharing incredible stories of where the pieces came from! Paul and Paul were gifts to the experience, I cannot wait to bring friends here to check out the selection.
There sure is a bunch of stuff there, and its aptly named. Paul is a pleasant kind of a guy - I ended up buying a beautifully made shipping box from the old Wilkins coffee company in Washington DC. Other highlights of my walk through his warehouse were an antique washer, school chairs from the 1960s, old wall clocks and receipts for medicinal alcohol during Prohibition.
I enjoyed visiting this beautiful store. Amazing selections of old and reclaimed furnitures. Tons of choices in different price range. Very helpful staff great parking space. This is a good to place for people anyone who is furnishings or update their home. I love this place.
First time visit, a very nice antique store with lots of unique pieces for decorating. Friendly staff very willing to help. Check it out.
I called ahead specifically asking if their place was handicap parking and if the inside was walker accessible inside. I was told yes. I was also offered the use of their ramp to get into the store, which was very thoughtful. However, inside, had I needed to use my wheelchair or scooter, I wouldnt have been able to go very far, maybe 20 to 25, before needing to start moving numerous and very large pieces of furniture.Even with my walker, I had to keep folding it up, to allow me to squeeze between all the merchandise scattered throughout the store. There is one pathway that had no specific size, but changes as it leads you to smaller and smaller non manageable ones.NO set structured isles to accommodate any handicapped persons needing the use of any mobile device to get around. The only way I would have been able to Very Carefully move around, wouldve been to use my cane with the assistance of my daughter. Had I been so advised in advance, I would have prepared myself for that.It was a very nice store from the little I was able to see. Would have loved to explore more, had I been able to look around without fear of knocking into everything.
Love visiting this shop when I am in Frederick. Always have some interesting items.
A treasure trove of undiscovered finds. Need an old clock? Theyve got one. How about a Church pew? Theres a few of those too. Whats that you say; in the market for a civil war era apple box? Look no further, Great Stuff by Pauls got plenty of those too.
Awesome antique shop! Tons of great finds. The owner Paul was actually there and was super nice!
There are two locations, one in downtown Frederick and the other one here. They are both filled to the gills with a bunch of cool old stuff, but its a little expensive. Someone with a good imagination and knack for interior design might be able to think of where to put things like old 1920s leather suitcases.
Fantastic stuff! Has been a must stop for years when passing by Frederick. Paul will also ship to your home.
Shop clerk yelled at me when I asked to check a price.... you are making my job very difficult..outraged..I and my friend and I left WITHOUT making our purchase due to the rude older man...that I asked to do HIS JOB..how dare I?
Beautiful shop with unique furniture and such. Items from India and China as well. We will be back.
Lots of cool stuff from around the world. Bring your credit card or just browse.
Warning!! This place is HUGE...MAKE SURE YOU PLAN AHEAD TO SPEND LOTS OF TIME HERE. They have a lots of stuff to dream about putting in your home.
Nice place, but the antiques arent very antiques but more of imported goods. Seemed way over priced.
Very cool stuff. Very expensive. Too expensive if you shop around.
Bunch of junk really. I would call this stuff costume jewelry of furniture. This junk is also way way over priced.
I love this place. Paul is a character.
The store was amazing and it was a great experience
Love in an amazing building
Though they did not have what I was looking for, he had many options.
