For a good eight months, my son has been doing independent online research for a good quality Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor as his first car. Many of them were from dealers all over the country that would require us to drive or fly and figure out complicated logistics of getting the car back home.Until one day he came across a listing for a 2009 P71 at The Police Fleet, which to my delight and surprise was in Frederick, MD, not very far from us. I read the website from top to bottom, and they got glowing reviews. So I arranged to meet with Mike Davies to take a look at the car and take it for a test drive. His showroom in Frederick, MD is very clean, with a few vehicles on display, and the day we arrived, had a trailer pulling up with some recent acquisitions from a local sheriff’s fleet.Mike told me all about this car, which was a clean, single owner, rural Pennsylvania Township un-marked Detectives car. He was very upfront and honest about all aspects of the car, answered all my questions, and had all original documentation and paperwork. It drove like a charm, and my son was in love with it, and I just knew this was the car we were looking to purchase.At no time during this process did I ever feel pressure to buy or do anything. In fact, just the opposite. It was the most hassle-free, used car experience that I have ever had in my life. Mike kept me well-informed and made me feel comfortable during all aspects of the purchase. I offered to make a deposit to hold the car, which was not necessary he said. He disclosed that because the odometer pixels were unreadable, he would have to get that sent out to get fixed. It also needed MD inspection. When the odometer came back, it was actually around 10k less than what was initially indicated. He called me and described in great detail what this odometer discrepancy meant, and the impact it would have on the Carfax report. Did I still want the car? Of course I did! 78k instead of 88k? A great, clean, low mileage is now even lower-mileage.I got another call once the inspection came back. It needed almost $1,000 in suspension work. MD state inspection is pretty strict. Was I still interested? Mike offered to make and pay for the repairs and deduct it from the cost of the car. WHO DOES THIS? Who provides this kind of customer service? Mike Davies is the most honest, transparent, fair, and reasonable car dealer you will EVER work with. I am extremely satisfied with The Police Fleet Sales, and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone who is in the market for a great, pre-owned police vehicle.

As I reach the first oil change for my 10 Police Interceptor, I think its time to share my thoughts and experiences with The Police Fleet. For my next car, I had my heart set on a retired police car and when I saw their black and whites online, it was love at first sight. Everyone at the shop was super nice and accommodating with my schedule. The showroom was full of cop cars in immaculate condition inside and out. I was given plenty of time and space to give the vehicle a once over with a used-car checklist (each car I was considering passed with flying colors). I never felt pressured to make the purchase and after my inspection and some additional questions (service life, maintenance requirements on duty, etc) I felt very comfortable making a decision.As I reach 3k miles (almost 150k on the odometer), the car is running like a champ and handles like brand new! The battery did die about a month in (cold snap) from the cold weather. Everything else works perfect and shows that it was, in fact, taken care of very well during its service life.Bottom line: I could NOT be happier with my black and white and still get the biggest grin every time I get behind the wheel. If you want a fantastic used car from some good people, this is the place to go!

Purchased a 2005 P71 Crown Victoria a few months ago. Indoor showroom is a nice touch. Negotiations were easy and all paperwork was ready when I returned to take the car home. Quick and easy buying experience. Youll find cheaper P71s on Craigslist or at auctions but you wont find better quality cars than the ones offered here. Had the car looked over at my trusted mechanic and they couldnt believe how clean the car is. Thanks Mike!

I waited a few months to write a review, because I wanted to make sure no interesting issues popped up with my car. I purchased a 2003 Honda Element from these guys back in November, and I am beyond pleased with both the vehicle, and the purchase experience! Negotiations were cut and dry, and the vehicle was exactly as advertised!! Even though they are over an hour from me, I plan on checking their inventory when it comes time for me to purchase another car. A+++

Meet with the owner a few Satuardays ago talked about buying (3) vehicle on 11.14.2015. Owner stated he would be in the office, never got a phone call or anything. Very hard time keeping in contact with the owner....................................I would not recommend this business to anyone
