Want to start by saying these guys are amazing to deal with! From our salesman Mike to the finance guy and the closer! Cant give these guys enough praise! This round was the most pleasant dealer car buying experience weve had in a lot of years! I cant say enough how appreciative I am for the professional and courteous manner that David Burda, Sales Consultant at The Frederick Motor Company showed us. David and his colleagues were welcoming and had genuine.Recently our Sons car was totaled as a result of a distracted driver. Thankfully he was not hurt but we were forced to purchase replacement vehicle for him. As a senior in college, he requires reliable transportation. Over the past two weeks we went to a number of dealerships in the area and while they were polite they did attempt to use the Covid induced supply shortage to their advantage. Not so with David Burda. The conversation was casual but professional and he was extremely knowledgeable. Im blown away by the professionalism the service dept especially Bill, Keith the manager from the used dept., and also Ray O the sales person I originally dealt with. I had a issue with a truck I purchased, which had nothing to due with Ford, The team handled everything without 1 complaint, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and the service. I will be recommending this dealership to my family and friends. I believe I was treated like one which is very rare . A+++

Found the vehicle I’d been looking for and contacted the dealer immediately. I live across the country so I asked regarding shipping fees. They quoted me double what another company was quoting. That wasn’t a big deal. I was put in contact with the loan officer who took all day to send me a credit application. Once I submitted the application I was immediately approved. I received an email stating he would begin the paperwork. Two hours later he said his manager closed the deal already and the vehicle wasn’t available. Poor internal communication or just greed to close a deal first? I wouldn’t put energy or effort in to dealing with this group unless you are in person. They will sell the car from under you if they have another buyer.

I have been to a lot of dealership repair centers and the Frederick Motor service department folks are EXCELLENT. They go above and beyond and the service done is always reliable. Services are thorough and considerate. The only thing I wish they offered is free Loaner cars for when our vehicles are kept for more than a day. Would be helpful instead of going to Enterprise..

These are good people and they do good work, but it is not easy to get work done at this company. Long wait times to get an appointment for repairs make it difficult to use them to make repairs. I dont know what the answer is to this...it probably is just how it is with auto repairs unless one wants to sit in a waiting room for hours? Loaner cars for customers would be nice...but not practical - given the numbers of customers they deal with. A company that could figure out how to handle auto repairs as quickly, easily and efficiently as The Lube handles oil changes would make millions!

Dave is an excellent salesperson, he gives quick answers, doesnt leave you waiting, good on texting, very reasonable to talk to and deal with. The Caliber had 150K on it when I bought it and is running well so far, have put almost 2000 miles on it in a week, always a problem with used cars that components will wear out. and need replaced. So far so good. This is first car I bought at Frederick used but second or third I looked at, everyone did everything they could to bring deal together. Thanks.

Purchased a preowned BMW, low miles, excellent condition. I drove over 2 hours to buy the car. Condition was as described when I got there. Professional staff were easy to work with.Cars on the lot are local trades from the Subaru and Ford dealership part of their motor group, not from the auction. They have a lot of nice cars at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them and will be buying from them in the future.

We really like the tires and the price wasnt too bad but we would have liked to spend less of course. Now for why the 3 star rating. The appointment was set up close to a week in advance and no time was set when the appointment was made. We started to get daily emails telling us that the appointment was 8:15 am and then it was 7:30 am. When the vehicle was dropped off at 7:30 am my wife was told to go home instead of waiting for it. When I got home around 1 pm I called the service department and was told that they had not started on it yet. I told the service advisor that I was disappointed by this considering that the email stated 7:30 am appointment. Not too long after this we got a call that told us our car had been taken back and it should only be an hour more. We went shopping at Boscovs and stopped over to see if it was done and it was not so my wife waited for it. @ hours or so later they finally got it done. Seems that they had to wait for a Subaru to get its alignment checked out before they could do ours. We are not too happy with how this went and it makes me wonder if I want to bring my escape in to get new tires when I need them.

I always have a great experience with the Ford Service Department. Things are done correctly and quickly! Usually when I owned cars before Id avoiding going to the dealerships, but I love going to Ford as their oil changes are cheaper (The Works which includes oil change, tire rotation and checking your fluids, etc is only $44!) and they have a wide range of time to drop off/pick up as their hours are usually 7:30-7. And they explain things to me fully and take the time to talk to me about my car/the issues. I will continue to go to Ford for all my service needs!

Ken helped me dropping the car off and immediately asked if I needed a ride home (when I dropped my spouses car off at Fitzgerald a few weeks back I had to bring up I needed a ride twice, and the guy just wasnt that friendly). Very poor service. I had an 8:00 am appointment. I dropped my car off the night before, and was the first car in front of the garage door.I don’t hear anything all morning, so I call at 12:30 to inquire on status of pickup time. I was told the mechanics were at lunch and my vehicle was the first to be seen after lunch. I was like WTF, my appointment was at 8:00 am.I heard a slew of excuses.I call back at 4:30, only to find out that now they need parts and it will take some time to order. The same part that I had told them 3 weeks earlier was bad when I made the service appointment.I’ll be driving up the road to Hagerstown for service going forward.

There was a recall on the Ranger and the Fredrick Motor Company was the closest Ford dealer. I was treated well and a convenient appointment was made. On that day, they were ready for the car and had received the parts. The truck was ready early in the afternoon as promised. This may have been routine for the Frederick Motor Company but the promptness and the service was more than I expected.

The Frederick Motor Company hooked me up! Got myself very nice 2015 Toyota Corolla S. Great mileage very fair price under blue book. Their were few bumps while getting the vehicle (not their fault), and they were on it. They work with me, and got it done! Their were few issues with the vehicle that were not caught right away, but before left the dealership with keys to my new Corolla. They got those issues squared away, and are getting fix as we speak. This is company is were you want to get your first car from, and your last. I will be coming again and again. This company is as honest as they can be. An even though my experience was great there is no guarantees, but Ill definitely be coming back to see David L. Burda, and the other sales consultants.

So if you book online the prices are different then in store. They will acknowledge it and match the price but then add a random charge to bring it back up again. I once called in before. I called as a female and my husband called with the same info. Guess who got the lower price?After my alignment they broke something. I drove off and came back. They says the issue would be a $700 repair. Plus another $100 for an alignment. Please go to a mechanic for work on your car.

Excellent service and they make sure that it is fixed correctly. The mechanics are top notch and the service people are friendly and very knowledgeable about my car. They never try to sell you something or service that your car does not need. I have been coming to this dealership since 2004 and have always received the same excellent service from day one. Recently I had some body work and a paint job done at the body shop. And again the service people in that dept were just as kind and compassionate as the service dept. for mechanical issues. The paint job is looking really great. Their body shop people did an excellent job. They really blew me away when I found out that the job was done before two weeks were up. Awesome job for having to repair the whole drivers side.

Beware. This dealership has been on my radar for sometime. My father took his truck in. They suggested a 6000 dollar repair. We fixed it for 17 dollars. They do not care. We have had other vehicles repaired here and I am very suspicious they got us. Not this time though.

They finally fixed my car in warranty which was a battle. I have not had a good relationship with the Ford or Subaru sides of this dealership when it comes to the service departments. They have come up in the rating because once it was determined that Subaru would pay they fixed it quickly. Just the two weeks of will they wont they was stressful.

Scheduling is at least 3 weeks out... Asked to have my car done by noon and when I called at 11:45 for an update, I was told the car was just rolled into the shop. I dropped the car off at 7:30. I was then told when customers drop off cars for service, they try to get the car done by the end of the day.So, not sure why I paid 5k plus for a service contract. Apparently Ford stops caring about customers when they get their money.

Quick Lane in formed me after review of check engine light code that additional diagnostic was needed and to bring vehicle back for drop off to further investigate issue. After making arrangements to bring my vehicle in as requested, I was rejected at the quick Lane and sent to the main service center to reschedule. the manager at quick lane stated we cant do that here, it ties up too much time and production with that being said 10 years of service and serveral thousands of dollars of business, i will, after my truck is repaired(at the main office), bring my business elsewhere. Quick lane can stick to quick business I have no issues with the workmanship and mechanics its the management attitude if quick turnaround I did not appreciate especially a 10+year client.

Bunny in the Service center is fantastic! I was driving to work the other morning when my car started to act up and I drove straight over to the shop to drop off my car. We cant think of a single thing that Corey Burda could have done better while helping us buy our new truck. We are seniors and have bought lots of vehicles over the years. I am not backward about stating that Corey has been our very best salesperson EVER. I will be recommending him to everybody that I know. She gave me an estimate before the work was started and explained each charge after the work was completed. One service was completed that I had not requested (she caught this error) and she removed the charge from my bill. 1/4/2019I recently took my 2011 Ford F-150 to the Frederick Motor Company body shop for repairs to the front end and rear step bumper. Was very pleased with the Assistant Body Shop Manager Kevin Crotzer - he is very knowledgeable, courteous, competent, and has the best interests of his customers at heart - he did several repairs simultaneously and did not double charge me for labor. The Frederick Motor Company is both competent and honest. Kevin Crotzer and his staff in the body shop did an EXCELLENT job on my 2017 Chevy Trax. The paint job done was immaculate. But the superior service did not stop there. My car was cleaned from top to bottom. They notified me of how long it would take to have my paint job done. They made me feel comfortable and even called the rental company for me, to return my rental car. I would highly recommend Frederick Motor Company for auto body repairs. These guys are professional. The only place Ill go to get an oil change and other maintenance. On top of knowing that everything will be taken care of properly, we love the train table for kids and the cozy clean waiting room! My Son knows its there and immediately runs over to play and before you know it the car is done and we are ready to go! All the staff is friendly too and those extra helping hands with the car seat and the door are always appreciated!

I knew I wanted a Subaru but Walter and the Frederick Motor Company made it a wonderful experience. Kind, knowledgeable, and fair. They didn’t waste my time. There were no hidden fees. Just good business and attention to detail. Walter took the time to go over everything, answer questions, and point out things I didn’t know. He followed up with a phone call. The entire staff was helpful and kind. Trust is a very important quality, and I trust Walter and the Frederick Motor Company. Great auto company because of the people! Service was professional and extremely friendly. Salesmen were not pushy, but very helpful and respectful, unlike other salesmen we interacted with at Tate during same day. Normally I have a great experience and trust the mechanics working on my car. But this time I lost all confidence. I knew my back windshield wiper was badly shredded and needed to be replaced. On inspection the mechanic working on my car said it was good. That tells me either you didnt actually see if it wipes or you didnt actually inspect my whole car and lied on the sheet. Not happy either way.

Really disappointed in them. I’ve had my Ford Focus in there for the same recall 3 times now. Never, have I had a good experience. It’s always excuses. I get if a company is busy, I’ve worked in customer service for years. I was set up with an appointment 3 weeks out, and when I finally dropped off my car this morning, they call me (after having the inconveniences of not having a car allll day) and say they couldn’t even look at it today. I was told they’d be able to at least diagnose it today. I wasted my whole day without a vehicle. Why did they schedule me if they couldn’t even look at my vehicle? I hate yelp reviews/negative reviews in general, but I’m super unhappy with the service desk there.

Ken was so helpful in setting up a test drive with the shop foreman to determine what was causing an issue I was having with my car. Then he arranged a time for me to bring the car in when it fit into my schedule. He kept me informed about the status of my car and made sure I was completely satisfied with the service I received. Just had the 42,000 check done on my Subaru Outback and, as usual, the service was excellent. I have always waited at the dealership while different service needs were taken care of and the work has always been completed in a timely manner, a full explanation given of the work and expense and the service employees are always pleasant and cordial.
