After eating dinner in the area, I had a hankering for something sweet. Walking around the different restaurant complex, I saw Fantasticks, so I went to see what they had.The place has ample parking, is located in a convenient area, and makes for an easy time aggregating with some friends. Theres enough seating and standing room to accommodate parties of moderate sizes.The reception was great. The staff had an amiable sense of humor and were good at recommending flavors and toppings according to what myself and others asked about.The ice cream was decent and there were a few different topping and drizzle selections. I must say that while the idea is unique, I found myself wanting ice cream where toppings werent falling off.Overall, everything was good, but in my opinion, theres nothing particularly outstanding setting it as a top tier competitor to other cream-based dessert businesses.

It was my first time coming to Fantasticks, so basically you choose your favorite gelato bar flavor from their selection, then choose 3 toppings and finally coat it and drizzle with the flavor of your choice. Once you paid dont forget to take a photo of your creation on their photo booths and shared it on your favorite social media.The establishment is clean and bright, Ill recommend to visit it for this upcoming summer days.By the way I purchase 2 bars and it was around $10 dollars.

Great place to visit and so yummy! Their Mini-sticks (while only come in chocolate or vanilla) are a great size for those looking to enjoy a treat when considering the budget or waistline.Staff was friendly and helpful, and all around area was clean and open. Outdoor seating is available for nice summer days and family friendly. Ill definitely be visiting again.

Fun new place to try but very very decadent & sweet.Don’t get me wrong, I have a sweet tooth myself, but it was almost too much. The chocolate dip quality however was good, next time I might just come in from a plain vanilla with chocolate dip. The kids really liked picking out their ice cream and dip flavor. A fun experience for them.

Really good. A little understaffed but it may just have been the time that we came. The gentleman that helped us was pleasant.

This was our first visit to Fantasticks in Frederick. The frozen treats were excellent and Im excited to go back and try the many possible variations of gelato and toppings. The reason for giving only 3 stars is that the person who assisted us wasnt very pleasant. She appeared very rushed and disinterested in helping us (weird as we were the only people in line). The really surprising part is that in the midst of serving us, she was training another young lady. I do hope that this is not how new hires are taught to interact with patrons.

Starting to think this place is a myth, we have been there numerous times over the past year and half and all the lights were off and no one inside. I did see they opened one at Rio. Will have to try there.

I was trying to find some new ice cream place Ive never been to. I found this place and made the drive from Hagerstown, which is around 30 minutes away. Service was excellent and the ice cream was pretty good. Ill be back

So much fun and not super expensive

The whole experience was great! We came in close to closing and the staff was still super friendly! The ice cream was DELISH! And the photo booths are such a quirky fun feature and smart marketing!

Interesting concept..gelato was good. My daughter found the white chocolate covering to be too sweet and it overwhelmed the cake batter pop she ordered. Husband ordered the Salted Caramel and he enjoyed it. I can honestly say that while it was good..I dont know that we will be back anytime soon.

Their ice cream is really rich. Had trouble finishing it before it melted.

Ordered two: strawberry cheesecake and added coconut crunch sauce, graham cracker dust, white chocolate pearls. The other was Oreo cookie with white chocolate sauce, graham cracker dust and white chocolate pearls. Interesting concept. I wasnt wowed by it, but that is only because I dont like to bite into hard ice cream; I enjoyed it better after it melted a little. The process can be a little long because u choose your flavor of gelato, then the 3 toppings and the sauce. Imagine, 5 littlekids trying to figure out what they want? I had a hard time 🙂. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon since Manhattan Pizza share the same space. Husband and wife collaboration; her vision is the ice cream, his is the pizza. Hope they are successful and last longer than Pie Five.

Hours listed as open but driving across town to go here and theres a small sign inside the store that says theyre out of order and completely empty. Very disappointing

Great place to go with family and friends and it’s in the same “room” as Manhattans pizza place so you can grad lunch or dinner and get a dessert or snack! Not very pricey only $10 for 2! Workers their are sooo sweet and friendly, there is movies and shows playing on a promethean board, and very modern/ clean! Definitely recommend. I love to come here❤️

Ice cream treats were great. Staff was Im back looking at something on a phone. We waited almost 5 minutes before asking staff at pizza counter if anyone was working.

The ice cream selection is ok. The liquid dip options are very limited. Im still speechless that the cashier girl didnt know how count my two five dollar and two one dollar bills. She literally had to ask me how much it was. And then she didnt know how to count the change owed. Our society is doomed.

This place is great! You pick your flavor popsicle, and then choose your toppings and dips. My daughter loved it, and they had mini vanilla and chocolate popsicles for her. I had a smores popsicle... definitely the fanciest popsicle Ive ever had haha. Friendly staff! Inside the Manhattan pizza.

Awesome place. First time and will be back!
