I purchased a unit at auction and the process was smooth. I enjoyed the location because they let me use their dumpster.

This facility is top notch! I used their new “rent now” feature! I was able to jump online book a unit. Drove to the facility got into my unit and they had a little welcome bag sitting in my unit with a lock and key ready to use! Incredible service that made my life 1000% easier!! And they have a rental van that you can use for free within like your first 14 days to help with moving too! 🤯🤯🤯

Steve was very accommodating while adding laughter and transparency. He made the agreement make sense and broke down every category. My favorite part was he encouraged me to ask questions as he wanted me to understand what I was signing! He also smiled(yes I could see it through the mask) Thanks Steve for such great customer service!

My son rented a unit here for almost a year and we could not be happier with the storage unit and the excellent customer service and support. Easy access during off hours and the pricing was the best we could find around. You get a lot for what you pay for. When we moved out and closed the account it was super easy and hassle free. Would highly recommend and would still be using them if my son had not moved into his new apartment. Would rent a unit from them on the future without any hesitation. AAA+++ would be my rating!

Life Storage is an excellent option for your storing needs. The facilities are clean, well lit, secure, and have excellent access hours. The staff there is courteous, professional, and always willing to help. One of their employees, Steve, has given me exceptional customer service and has done a fantastic job answering my questions and assisting me with all of my requests. Borrowed the storage unit van for the afternoon when I returned the employee was very rude to me because they failed to explain that a family of mine couldn’t drive the van. I tried to explain that I didn’t know then they said I would be able to borrow said van.

This was the first storage unit I’ve ever rented, so I didn’t know what to expect. Managers Nicole & Steve were both SO incredibly nice and helpful. Love this storage. Great prices and even better staff. I used the climate control facility for more than 2 years. I never had a problem with my unit and the staff always went out their way to accommodate me (even for the small stuff). Their spaces fill up quickly so if you get a chance to reserve a space, DO IT.

A feel like a fish going upstream here, but I did not have a good experience at this facility. Here is why:1- The rate I was quoted is not the rate I’m paying monthly. I selected this place because it was a good $15 cheaper than other places, as assumed it was because it’s a second-floor walk-up. I now see it’s because you HAVE to buy storage unit insurance (which I’ve never head of). This is unlike any other storage place I’ve ever used. I would’ve appreciated knowing this ahead of time, like the days prior when I called to confirm the reservation and could’ve done more research into “rental storage insurance”2- On top of the surprising fee, we had to pay for two locks because this was a “two door unit”. This isn’t a big deal by itself, but again, I would’ve appreciated a heads up.But both of these items didn’t actually irk me until:3- When I brought it up with the guy (who must be Steve) getting us set up, asking “why didn’t we know about these things ahead of time”, the first thing he said was “you can go elsewhere”. As if yea, we’re just going to casually find another storage unit with a truck full of furniture and a mattress precariously strapped to the Jeep. We’ll just go do that, no big deal. As if I didn’t plan to have use this place for a week, and as if I hadn’t just driven 12 hours to get to this one darn place.I’m sure there are positive qualities, but I didn’t see them. To me, the whole transaction seemed riddled with poor customer service, no amenities, hidden fees, and a general sense of disappointment.

Office staff are nice place is clean and cheaper then the surrounding area.

Steve was really helpful and made the whole process much easier for myself and my husband. We have felt very secure with storing our belongings there and will be back for our future needs. I have used other storage locations in the area and this one has had the best customer service.

They have hidden costs. There are no savings here. After spending time deciding on them and reserving a space, they emailed me and told me that they require insurance. Since Im not a homeowner, I would have to buy from them and their insurance costs ate up all the savings. It would be nice if they wouldnt hide costs. It makes you wonder what else is being hidden when they are not upfront with you to begin with. I went somewhere else.UPDATE: I find out later also that they had a break in during 2013. Insurance is definitely a good idea for some but the consumer should have the power of deciding whether to insure their own possession or not. REQUIRING someone to have insurance is protecting the business from law suits and shifting responsibility away from themselves. And insurance wont cover family photos or other such items that have little monetary value but huge emotional value. They should be held accountable for damage or theft due to criminal or natural incidents. They should keep their business safe for the consumer to use and quit shifting responsibility.

Place was great. Access was easy & the people are helpful. The rates have crept up, but are still very good in comparison to anything near where I live (Montgomery County).

First time using Life Storage and it has been a wonderful experience! Steve P has a great personality and is wonderful to work with. Used the call center in Buffalo, NY. Spoke with Michelle. She was a great help, answering all my questions intelligently and clearly, even the one about the weather in Buffalo. The rates are very reasonable and are less than those of the local competition. I was contacted by the property manager, Steve, shortly after making my reservation offering to answer any questions I mightve had. I am very pleased with the customer service and the site amenities are a bonus. There were no hidden fees like I found at a competitor.They have earned a five star rating in my opinion.
