Mike M. in the service department has been wonderful to work with since moving to Virginia; I have had both warranty work and an oil change completed at this dealership.Mike took the time to listen and diagnose several concerns that were not corrected at a previous out-of-state Ram dealership. His diligence took care of the issues that the previous dealership attempted to unsuccessfully address several times.Im glad I found this dealership and will continue to use them for future services.
The wait time for service was short, they also kept me informed throughout the process. They were through and checked everything, service was fairly quick as well. They replaced the oil pressure sensor (part $83) in my Ram 1500 and knocked out a few recall items (no charge). Minus the sticker shock for labor ($433)my truck is running w/o issue. My only complaint is after spending a good amount of money ($563) for service, they could have given my truck a quick run through their car wash. The service albeit pricey, was top notch!

Went in for an oil change for my 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0. Got there a bit early for my appointment and they took the car right in. Didnt take long at all and the waiting area is quite nice. The overall experience was very nice. Would absolutely go back if Im able to for any future maintenance issues.

I arrived at 7:00 am and was the first customer in line when they opened the service bay doors. I was immediately greeted by a service advisor and they took my truck back to the service bay shortly after that.I was getting my brakes done. As I waited, several customers that arrived well after I did had their repairs completed and were out the door.My service advisor finally came in to tell me what the technician found at around 10:00, 2 1/2 hours after it was taken back.The work was finally finished at 11:10. My truck hadnt been run through the new state of the art car wash that the signs in the waiting area said was complimentary. The sign said you can opt not to get this service by letting your service advisor know. I didnt tell the service advisor I didnt want my truck washed.No complaints with the work done, just the amount of time it took after being the first one in line. 3 hours 45 minutes is too long to replace 2 sets of brake pads and 2 rotors

I bought my jeep here and take it to service at the same place for the past 3 years. Never had a bad experience. All around great customer service - sometimes they have lack of communication inter-departmentally but they always accommodate and make it work for me. Service dept always tries to go the extra mile with my “wants” like I had an issue with the soft top and they fixed it. It wasn’t anything big but they are helpful.My only reason for 4 stars is the expense. Charging $73 for oil change is a bit much. Luckily I don’t commute much so I keep going back to them. But if I did, I’d have to find another place I think. Other than $$$ I like it there!
Mike and his team in service department did a great job fixing my ProMaster. Very informative and professional, most important got the job done in a timely manner. So I can get it back on the road for business. First time using them and highly recommend!
Jacqueline was super patient and kind. She was personable. We got off on the wrong foot when I was in negotiations with the dealership for a vehicle that they ended up selling out from under me, then the radio didn’t work in a car I was going to get instead to which I was informed they’d have to send to auction and they weren’t interested in selling it. After several hours of test driving and looking for a vehicle, I found one that I enjoyed and purchased. Overall a good experience in the end, but definitely didn’t start out that way.
This was my second Ram truck I have bought from Safford Fredericksburg. I worked with Joe Robinson, whom made sure I got honest information and made sure I got a fair deal. Not your typical car dealership, as you dont get some fake sales pitch like others in Northern Virginia. Just fair, honest customer service from everyone who got me in and out in less than two hours.
Troy and Skyler were great to work with and Troy is a man of his word, very good people.The customer service manager and the man taking my money have a hard time with the word NO. I really enjoy driving my Jeep Wrangler. It was worth the three and a half month wait.
Not sure I would use them again, 1st they charged $169 to plug in a computer to see what the check engine light was for and will not apply this to the repair. Next they told me the inspection was fine and then the next day they said it would not pass inspection due to the headlight having water in it. 3rd the price the are charging for there parts and labor seem expensive.
We have bought our last 4 vehicles from here and dont have a negative thing to say! I tookmy wifes 300s for a detail job and it was perfect for her birthday. Very nice people and the used lot sales girls and guys all the way to finance are super cool. Thanks again for making her ride super fancy!
If I could give them 1000 starts I would. I was met with kindness and humbleness. The sales team along with financial team were unlike any other. Never did I once feel as of they just thought of me as a sale. They went out of their way to find me the best deal. Accepted the emergency drop off of the vehicle, but didnt do much to otherwise support us during an emergency transmission failure while on a road trip. Forced to walk to car rental places along road with no sidewalk with 5yr old and 8 yr old, no offer/ability to determine warranty status of extended warranty purchased from another dealer. Overall lack of empathy. Opportunities to exceed expectations were missed along with the ability to meet expectations for a vehicle still in its factory warranty. Felt as if we were an inconvenience. Perhaps local customers that plan ahead will receive better service.

Safford took my truck in when I arrived which was about 15 minutes early. The service advisor was correct in his guess of the problem and the time to fix it. He kept me posted as I waited and they had the part in stock. The truck was clean when returned and he let me take the truck and leave while he finished paperwork. It was a warranty fix so it was at no cost. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Great job team!

The prices are ludicrous for service. Can purchase every part listed for around $60 and you stated it could all be completed in 2 hours, so why is it over $700? Lost a customer for life over your shady actions. I can only imagine how many people you all rip off...smh. *Update: I did the spark plugs and air filter for $23 (30 mins)

I recently had to make a trip to Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Rams Service Center for a Jeep Recall for my 2006 Jeep. I saw this place coming thru Fredericksburg one day and randomly stopped in to see what, if anything, could be done about the recall. I was helped right away and everyone, although busy, was so friendly and helpful. They ordered the parts needed to make the recall repairs and had me scheduled for the repairs within a week. When I arrived for the repairs the following week, everything went so smoothly and everyone there exemplified exceptional professionalism in every department. I also got to see the new Jeeps! I was not there for long. The wait, while repairs were being made was extremely comfortable and they were fantastic there! I would definitely return in the future for service or sales and I highly recommend this place.
My service advisor was fine. However the replacement part did not work. So after spending most of my day with this repair/replacement, I now have to wait for the new part then utilize my time to bring into shop. My time is also valuable.
The team at Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and Fiat were professional and courtesy as can be. I had conversations with a few of the staff there and each interaction was a pleasant one. I went in to get routine service and a recall serviced and the personnel I worked with were very transparent about the entire process.

Sammy was my salesman and he was great. He was able to get me out the door in two hours and stayed after hours to get me a deal. Jeff went out of his way to get bank approval for a great deal. Mike had the paperwork down to a science and was done in ten minutes. The Jeep I got is fantastic and they even lowered the price to get the deal approved by the bank. Stafford has a loyal customer now, and will be seeing Sammy again now my son wants his own Jeep when he gets his license this summer.

Martha was awesome. I took my Ram to Lustine in Woodbridge. All they wanted was to change the oil for $220 even though I had the oil changed 3 days earlier. So I took it to Martha she found theres was a software update to fix the exact problem I was having. The other dealer didnt even check. The software was out 3 months before either appointment but only Martha cared to check.She is the only one Ill see from now on. Thank you

I wanted to give a shout out to Brett in the service dept. I went there this morning with a vehicle Ive never taken there before though I do regularly go there with my Dodge truck and Jeep. I was pressed for time and didnt think I was going to be able to wait to have an inspection and oil change done on my Nissan, well Brett started working with me and said he thought he could get it done fairly quickly. Well he got it done in 45 minutes which was fantastic and I really appreciated it. They have always treated me good there. So thank you very much for that. By the way the Nissan dealer next door said it would be 4 hours to have that done. Ill be bringing the Nissan back here from now on as well as my other vehicles.
From the moment I walked drove onto the lot at Safford I felt at welcomed. I am one that does not like to be pressured to make any type of sale, and Paul was laid back and “out of my hair.” Took the Z71 for a test drive came back and we talked. Jeff the finance guy was the same laid back way and helped get the best rate possible. Mike the final finance guy was welcoming and talked with me through all the details.Plain and simple the best staff I’ve ever worked with purchasing a vehicle. I will be back, just not soon I hope.

Horrible, liars and close to bait and switch. I was contacted about a truck so I drove to Fredericksburg for a second time. I test drove the truck and loved it. We sit down to talk price and Im told they made a mistake and the truck was priced $11,000 cheaper than it should have been but he thinks he could fight with his manager to get it for the listed price if I paid an $1,800 dollar fee to get the truck certified pre-owned status. According to Dodge website this truck is not able to get CPO status because its 14,000 miles over what Dodge allows. Find another dealership that wont lie to you.

Traveling from Tampa to York, PA towing our travel trailer we experienced an oil cooler failure on I95 in Fredericksburg, Va. After hours of sitting on the side of the highway, in 100+ degrees of heat and vehicle exhaust, we finally got both our truck and RV off the highway late that evening. Believing that it could be repaired, we selected Safford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat of Fredericksburg to have our vehicle serviced. We were in initially impressed with the quick response to service request, understanding that we were on a tight travel schedule. The service team initially believed that the engine was probably damaged, but gave us a couple lower cost options to get us back on the road if the engine had not been damaged. Based on the possibility that the engine was damaged, we began looking into new vehicles and called the Stafford sales team regarding a few vehicles they had, and also looked at other dealers in the area. The Stafford sales man Glen Curtis, called us to find out what type of vehicle we were looking for. He listened intently, took good notes and identified a great match to our needs, he drove the vehicle to our hotel, picked us and our two dogs up. Let us drive the vehicle back to the dealership and made us all very comfortable as we looked at other vehicles that would meet our needs. We continued to look at other dealers inventory. But after looking at many vehicles, we ended up selecting the vehicle that he initially brought to us. It was perfect for our needs and budget, he got it right! The purchase process was straight forward and more comfortable than I am accustomed to. They gave us a very good trade in value on our vehicle, considering our limited time constraints and the possible damage to the engine. They also provided a loaner vehicle while they detailed our new purchase. When we picked up the vehicle, they informed us that the engine was badly damaged and would need to be replaced, but they honored the original trade in value.We could not write a recommendation that would fully capture our appreciation of how we were treated by this team. At a time were we felt alone and somewhat vulnerable, it seemed like we had family taking care of us. They are truly a compassionate, honest and highly professional team! I talked to someone in parts on 9/29 around 4pm. He was incredible helpful (especially compared to the dodge dealer in culpeper who was pretty rude). He didn’t Upsell me when he could have and kind of confirmed my suspicion about needing an OEM sensor. Probably saved me $120 bucks on an additional crank sensor.I have an 05 Dodge Dakota (4.7 V8). Check engine light came on and the OBD2 Code I pulled was for the cam shaft sensor. I had already replaced that (twice with duralast parts) and the crank sensor and the truck ran worse then before I changed anything (wouldn’t rev over 2500 RPM with sputtering). I put the mopar cam sensor in and truck runs great and was able to clear the code.

Joe was awesome in discussing options, features, and helping me to order the truck I was looking for....other dealerships would have tried to make me buy whatever was on the lot. The prices were fair, negotiating was fair, and overall the buying experience was the best I have ever had when purchasing a vehicle. However, I started service with a much less customer focused dealer north of Fredericksburg. Safford has earned my Jeep service for life! From start to finish, everyone was very friendly and professional. I went in for an oil change, tire rotation and state inspection, and upon arrival I was told that the cabin air filter was a recommended service for my mileage, which I agreed to. The place seemed pretty busy at the time, but they got me out the door in roughly an hour which was much quicker than I expected. I will definitely return for future service.

The oil change sticker on the windshield showed the date and mileage when the oil change was done. Not three months and 5 thousand miles out. Also, tire pressure was not set. Right side tires have 36psi, left front is 33psi, and right rear is 34psi. All should be 35psi. I never get a check sheet of what is good or what is needed for service. When I purchase this truck, I paid $2,000.00 for maintains services. This is my second oil change with you, and I feel like you dump the oil, replace the filter, and out the door, I go.

Had an issue with my air lift rear suspension on my new Ram truck and had a trip planned. Called the service department and spoke with Jim. He advised me if I could drop off the truck that evening they would jump right on fixing it the next morning. By noon the following day my truck was fixed and a state inspection done. Great job to everyone at Safford Dodge in Fredericksburg VA for getting everything repaired in a timely manner even though I did not purchase the truck there. I was in the market for a 3500 with certain options and sadly they had none and didnt have any coming in any time soon, otherwise I would had most likely purchased here.
This was my first service visit to this facility. I was greeted my Mike in such a great friendly professional manner. He was knowledgeable and even helped me figure out my warranty that was on my Ram. They did all that needed to be done and one of the mechanics saw rust around my 4 wheel drive part and he took off all the rust and lubricated it free of charge. My vehicle’s regular maintenance work was done to my satisfaction and it was done quicker than I expected. Josh was great and recognized me as a repeat customer. He suggested what I needed to get done today and what I could put off until next time. He also gave me a heads up on what was coming up on my next visit as far as my preventative maintenance.
Good and quick service except they left my car smelling like the shop. A day later and it still smells of gas/oil. This was after I paid them for the wash and vacuum.

I came to drop my car off for my early mornin I am super blessed!My friend mechanic named Clark came straight from work to help me get my car to the dealership, I came to drop my car off for my early morning appointment and I got distress because I could not put it in reverse and I was stuck somewhere in the parking lot, they ended up fixing it for me on the spot just 15 minutes before they closed! Awesome experience here! Al was my salesman for my 2020 Redeye and made the whole experience worthwhile. He kept me informed every step of the way from factory, to VIN, to paint, to ship, to delivery. Ive bought a number of new cars/trucks/motorcycles through the years, my ram I bought from Lindsay 2 years ago.... all took all day as they beat you down on prices, pressured you into unneeded warranties, etc. Not here, they pitched, I said no, we kept moving....I respect that over sleezeball sales tactics and the bait and switch. I just wish it wasnt so far away (Im in Winchester) bc I already broke 100 miles and I just drove it home. (Or if theyd ship to the Safford here in Winchester). I would have loved to see it come off the truck.Anyways 5 out of 5 stars for the process, dealership, and Al my salesman.DONT GO TO LINDSAY or LINDSEY!

I am currently in the market for a new truck. My 2016 Laramie Longhorn 1500 is about to hit it’s 100,000 mile mark. So I figured I would upgrade. I came to the dealership, walked around for about 20 minutes with no salesman approaching me. Went inside to inquire about some information on what’s in their inventory. After their most junior associate answered my questions very directly, the sales staff never even tried to find something that I would possibly be interested in. I walked out and looked around for about five more minutes, again no one approached me. So got in my truck and now I am about to leave the parking lot very dissatisfied with their customer service.
I came to get air in my tire and learned I had a nail in it. They fit me in! Repaired my tire and since I was there, I asked to get my oil changed too. I was back on the road in an hour and now I can hit the road this weekend without issue. Grateful!
Anthony was amazing to work with. This was the best car buying experience we have ever had. Mike in the finance was great as well. We drove an hour to come to the Safford of Fredericksburg and we would do it all over again!

I just really Love the professionalism and great service I have gotten to date from all rhe Stafford Jeep staff. The Dealership and Service Center is a nice clean and welcoming place. Staff always seems willing to help and they make sure to provide you a contact text in case you need them while your car is getting work done. I would highly recommend them to all Jeep owners in the area.My husband bought a Dodge Ram from their Dodge dealership and has gotten great service from them as well.
