So impressed! Everyone was very attentive and friendly. I’m the type of customer that when I see a high rating I trust that it means the establishment means quality and stands behind it. So I invariably end up having some questions! They handled them graciously and the coffee and banana bread were both divine. First time to Niles and loved the historic feel, esp with the backdrop of the mountains. Wow! 🤩

Have been a big fan of Devout since they opened. Coffee is well made, strong, & flavorful.Folks there are well educated on their product so all my questions are answered thoroughly. The store is super cute. although its a quick order- in & out due to Covid, I believe its two customers inside at a time & the line waits outside of the door.Pastries are delicious, coffee is even better.

I love this place! They are serious about coffee. Today I had their seasonal (summer) drink which was cold brew concentrate, brown sugar and salted caramel cream. Oh to die for! The cream is foamy and salty, smooth and cool. Its iced. The cold brew concentrate works perfectly because it retains the strength and distinctive taste even though theres cream in it. The sweetening was quite light.I loved it. I took it to go so I put a lid on it and drank it with a straw. It would have been better sipping it from the open cup. This sort of drink is meant to be enjoyed from the top down, not the bottom up, like when you drink something with a straw. You dont get the saltiness of the cream otherwise.Starbucks makes a very similar drink, the ingredients are the same but not! Everything Devout uses is infinitely better and their baristas really know what theyre doing. Now the bad part...its as expensive as you would expect, actually probably more so! The drink I described was 6oz, including ice. That leaves about 3-4oz of drink. It was $3.75. It seems like a reasonable price until you see the cup!Its definitely worth it! But I wouldnt get it very often. Thats what makes a treat special, though!

I came here today after a couple of years. I got a latte and a peanut butter cookie - both excellent and the latte was smooth. My friend got a mocha and a croissant. There is hand sanitizer by the register and the line is outside. The only customers allowed inside seem to be the ones ordering and picking up after the name is called. Minus one star because the single table outside was filthy with actual chunks of dirt (I wiped it down myself) and there was no visible menu.

Decided to try out this local Fremont spot and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. While the bags of coffee beans can get expensive they will provide you with a very smooth, delicious cup. The in-person store is at a great location and has a number of rotating specials. I tried an espresso con panna which was delightful to consume.

Devout has been my go-to for 2 years now. The craft of the coffee is wonderful and I love the staff. I tried this place awhile back and wasnt super impressed. The coffee was mediocre, expensive, and honestly a bit pretentious. But I was willing to give it another try today when a friend invited me here. I asked for their Jasmime tea iced (it was a hot day so not super interested in getting a hot drink) and was told there is only one of their black teas offered iced and no others could be made iced. When I genuinely asked why that was I was told it was store policy and that the owners dont allow any other teas to be made iced. 😳 Needless to say, the second chance went wasted and I will skip this place going forward.

My go-to spot in Fremont. Love the sense of community the shop brings to Niles. Ive seen this business go through some changes throughout the years and Im really happy that they are thriving.Ive since moved away from Fremont, but I do have fond memories working there, enjoying good conversations with friends & family, and remembering the amount of care and passion they put into their coffee menu.Out of all the coffee shops in Fremont, this is the one.----On another note, I just read a poor review from someone that was not able to take an espresso to-go. Cmon man. Who drinks an espresso to-go?

This place is awesome! I found it via IG and tried for months to stop in while driving through the area. Once I finally made it I was super happy. The staff that day were wonderful. They explained everything I asked expertly and when I got my order it was excellent. I usually order espresso at specialty coffee places. Theirs is perfection. I savored every drop. Their spot offers outdoor seating and even has pastries and other bites to go with your coffee. They have a minimalist style with tons of beautiful plants. If you’re into antiques the town is littered with them.

This guys also roast their own beans in house and sometimes when I come for my morning coffee I can smell it a block away 😂 Great pastries too, almond croissant is the best in the menu. How I found this beauty of a place hidden in the middle of no where, turned out to be a delight for me. This is one roastery coffee shop that can rub shoulders with the best. The flavors of the coffee have distinct citrus hints which speaks a lot about the owner who does not confirm to playing safe as many other top shops do. The cafe is a beauty in itself with a beautiful patio. Totally worth the drive I took for this.

I loved the taste from the first sip so I will definitely be coming back again to try their coffee sans the tonic. The baristas were nice and friendly. Although the interior has become mainly a place to place your order due to safety reasons, the open area beside it is very cozy and nice. Best, Authentic coffee shop in The Bay Area!Devout is our coffee shop for personal and professional times. My husband and I have both had business meetings here, mainly because the coffee is out of this world. We often visit with our family and bring cards or chess or laptops and books for study.During SIP we are missing those visits, and the amazing friendly staff.Thankfully, they are open for to go orders and selling beans. We continue to support Devout during this time and they continue to support us.Thanks Devout!
