Went for a quick Diwali shopping. Its a big store and you get almost everything that you are looking for. Its Diwali, so obviously its crowded. Watch out with parking as it gets crowded, parking in or taking out needs to be done carefully.
Store is big. It has great collection of Indian groceries. Very wide variety of Diwali diyas are available. Their website for online orders is not updated for items availability.
Fresh groceries and decent prices. For kashmiri people, you can find Mongi (ghant gobi) and Nadru (lotus root) here. They have a large selection for Indian packaged snacks and masalas. They also carry a lot of organic products from 24 Mantra (and other brands) which is pretty good since it supports our farmers in India as well.
Pretty decent place. You get whatever you want. The in house brand Pooja is best priced! Hot snacks samosas & Tikkies are great!
Great grocery & convenience store for Indian, Asian, Afghan, and Middle Eastern food & grocery items, including rare fruits & vegetables. Service is good.
I placed an online order. Every vegetable I received was very fresh. Very happy with my order.
Great store with all the Indian food supplies you will ever need!
You hardly see anyone to help you if there is a question. Isles are pretty congested that getting the cart through it hard. The whole store doesnt look very organized even though Most of the Indian grocery is available there. I was looking for pan but I couldnt see any sign anywhere. I asked the cashier and she said it in the box on top of the cabinet.
Except the seemingly uninterested in their customers, the store has good amount of produce that is usually fresh and probably is the only indian grocery store that keeps fresh lotus roots. Frozen section has lots of indian ready to eat options for people who dont get time to cook. Although pricy than other indian grocery stores, I buy pomegranates and few other nowhere to be found items here.
Clean and nicely arranged. Most common indian groceries are available. Shop is hidden from outside road, need to drive little further inside to reach actual parking. Staff members are very friendly.
Nice storeVery well. ArrangedMost of the stuff is available and the staff is friendlyIt is slightly expensive as compared to Apna Bazaar
Good store, fresh produce, prices on the lower side compared to other Indian stores in the area. They have a wider range of things then other stores.Do not take the redemade snacks like samosa and others. Not really good. Otherwise a pretty decent store for groceries and indian goodies.
Nice and clean store for Indian groceries. Veggies are fresh and replenished quickly. People at veggie section are always trashing the rotten veggies and making fresh veggies available.Packaged items are sometimes expired. Frozen/refrigerated items are not kept in suitable conditions and often have gone bad. I got used puja item once which they replaced without offering any apologies. I am starting to lose trust in them.
Clean and well organized store. Easy to find everything.
Great clean store, carries fresh and frozen vegetables and groceries from India and some from other Asian countries. The owner and his family are all very knowledgeable and helpful. Added bonus, India sweets is next door to satisfy the vegetarian Indian food junkie. Always good and fresh. One stop shopping for all your Indian needs.
Good collection of Indian grocery
Good Indian groceries, wide variety of selections
Good variety of Indian spices and veggies
Its a decent store, more spacious, more snacks varieties but not for online ordering. I have ordered several times from this store, every time they either change the quantity or change the brand to increase the price for online ordering. They substitute products even though I mention clearly substitution not required pls refund.Vegetable are little bit on the pricy side when compared to some other stores in Fremont. They dont have all varities of Indian vegetables.
We just saw a big rat in the store. We complained but it was not taken care of. Pretty sure it contaminates food items.
I love this store for all my Indian grocery needs you can find almost anything at very good prices very clean atmosphere staff is really kind and helpful to name a few i remember there is one girl with name Vandana she helped me finding almost everything for a Hawan puja at my house god bless her she really saved my time by telling me the exact places for all my requirements found all the 27 items pandit ji requested cant belive they have so much of memory and knowledge about the products great work thanks God bless
Bharat Bazaar is a good grocery place for your Indian grovery needs. Apart from the regular groceries and dairy and frozen food section, they also have pre marinated non veg items for chicken and lamb lovers.
Go in for my mint yogurt drink. Plus veggie prices are best around
Best service and you will find everything.Super clean and Fresh vegetables.Price is good too.
Great place to get fresh vegetables, Indian groceries. Pretty nice location around mowry, parking becomes little tricky at times. Owner is pretty warm and nice.
Very unprofessional. The cashiers were rude and was not helpful. Treated customers very bad. Will never go again.
Nice place to shop. They have good and different varieties. Service is good.
A mixed experience some staff is good others need to get there. store offers decent variety
Reasonably clean and organized. Quality of produce is better than other Indian stores. Staff is helpful and courteous. Moderate prices
Neatly organized and categorized aisle in the store. Get all Indian groceries, and prices are also competitive.
Other location was better
Very clean, organized and lot of items
Fresh veggies and desi paneer looked actually fresh.
Almost all the Indian grocery is available. Theres a mini costume jewelry section too &Threading facility too. Right outside at the parking lot there are food trucks with Good Indian snacks & kababs/ Tikka
Good deliverys
Barat bazar customer services is very poor and staff member like Carlos /Juan is very bad as he bother customers and I saw him accusing customer for stealing as he get very personal and disrespect customers. Prices are very high compare to other stores and some items are expired. Also prices are wrong when you go to check out counter. One item has different price and at check out is different price. Please do not support store like. Bharat bazar. Don’t waste your money. If you have self respect then please do not shop at Bharat bazar. Rest it up to you guys. My word is good as gold. Please trust me and don’t shop there. Each and every item is .50 cents to $1.00 higher. Thank you.
My go to place for groceries and other Indian/Home recipies.
This store is big but low on products, there is not much option for veggies. Also, the veggies are not always fresh. Also the price is never marked on the product.Ive had an episode where there was a product offer when I went up to billing counter they charged some different amount when I confronted they said the promotion is by mistake then I argued of false promotion then the cashier went to check with owner & she mentioned this is the last time she is making exception and gave me promotion price. My point was false promotion advertisement and not lower price. This is a good place to buy any India Pooja related stuffs.
Like their organic section you get almost all variety of organic lentils and rice same goes with the locally manufactured snacks
Great Indian super market with fresh veggies
Very bad place for shopping, very bad customer service, 1 Hispanic employee name Carlos/ Juan knock doors when customers use restroom, he said go home and use restroom, he bothers customers, and he accused customers for stealing. Also item prices are high, many items are epired, many products are not fresh,Dont buy anything from this place, pls. Tnx.
Great inventory. Store is a little small, but great finds can be had here.
Clean organized store for Indian grocery.
Bad stock high price
Neatly arranged and maintained compared to other indian stores but found prices are bit on higher side
They charge you extra money which stuff you did no buy. If you check then they say sorry. If not then they do not care. This is the reason when they give you customer service they are very nice that client should not know that they are charging extra. This happen to 2 of my friends as well.
Very attentive and helpful employees. Easy shopping, and great Indian Food Trucks in the evening!
The best Indian grocery store ever. Moved to Menlo Park recently and went all over San Jose, Sunnyvale and Fremont for Indian groceries that were sooooo expensive. Found this gem in Fremont. They have fresh vegetables which is really really good. I just love this grocery store. The staff is friendly too.
Bharat Bazar is one of the best Indian stores in the the Bay. The store is a bit hidden. The parking lot is spacious. The inside of the store is very clean, spacious. You can find all your grocery needs. The store also offers some home utensils. You can also find some garlands at the entry of the store. The staff is very helpful as well. This is a very nice store.
I reduce my 5 star ratings to 4. Main reason is that I never find price marking on the product. It is always a surprise when you get to counter. Good thing is that they have started online orders and pick up.
Good quality produce and a good selection of indian groceries
A go to for Indian staples, good variety and reasonable prices
All indian items are available here
Good to place to buy indian groceries
Nice place
Produce is not the freshest. But definitely very clean by Indian grocery store standards!
Togo place, nice staff
Quite nice Indian vegetables and other groceries- but make sure you ask when they get fresh vegetables so you can have it fresh and not mushy. They also have halal meats, which is nice!
Fresh veggies and fruits are available at economic prices
One of the great stores that carries stuff belonging to all parts of India, must visit if youre looking for Indian Groceries in Fremont or Bay Area!
Many a time they continue to have stale / rotten items in the fresh / frozen section.
Clean store but customer service could use a bit more work
Youll get nearly everything needed for Indian groceries. A touch little expensive than other Indian groceries. Sometimes inventory run out too quickly.
The store is well stocked and clean and the staff is generally courteous. However on my last checkout, they tried to rip me off: they over charged us on one of the items. When my wife pointed it out, they corrected the price, but did not remove the old price. When my wife pointed that out, they rudly removed that price. After the check out, I checked the receipt again, and there was double a charge about $15 for another item. I dont think it is a systematic ripoff but the clerk was not a pleasant person. And no, the person was not an unexperieced clerk.I strongly advise everyone to double check their receipt before leaving the store.
Got the pooja toor dal from this store and it mixed with red lentils dal.
Nice place
Very good market and great staff. Although some fruits are spoil or cant find what Im looking for such as avocados. Mangos are always great. Love the Indian fritters by the register. Are really good. Cant find Coconut milk at all. Only juices. Truly recommend
Great store. Wonderful people work here. Always go here for Indian groceries.
Good for fresh vegetables but no good stock of frozen products or milk products
Got all the spices I need for a few meals. Nice place.
Good place to grocery shop and online order also good groceries delivered
Good place to shop Indian groceries
Inspires me to cook fantastic treats
Well stocked, fair prices, clean, restrooms, parking, nice staff,
Good Indian grocery store with decent produce. More spacious than most other Indian grocery stores. Couple of drawbacks - limited parking space (most of the spots are compact sized) and less variety of Indian brands (they seem to favor the Pooja brand which is not the best).
I have been a long time customer here but yesterday’s experience made me not to return to this store anymore. I went to return a perished in the bag item and was subjected to very rude behavior by the lady cashier, she asked me all irrelevant questions like what was the billing method used despite submitting the actual receipt, then she started accusing me of eating some portion of the perished item, how annoying is that. Sorry guyz you lost one long time customer
Good to see Indian intends
Good place for Indian groceries. A little inconsistent lately- they are either loaded with stuff or nothing at all.
This is a good place for indian groceries and they have a good selection of the essentials. Would recommend this place
Very good Indian store. You will get things which you might not get in India in every store. Fresh vegetables and lots of variety.
Love this place. Almost every kind of spice, herb is available here. Has plenty of parking and good customer service.
This is like the carnivore coming to the watering hole (all the meat is brought to you). Bring an appetite, if youre a first timer, the salad bar is so tempting, but leave at least a fourth of your plate empty, cause the meats coming to your table as soon as you sit down!
Best Indian grocery store in Fremont. Good variety, fresh vegetables, low prices. Washroom is really clean too. They provide eyebrow threaading service in low rate. Staff is good too!
Very spacious and prices are reasonable when compared to few other stores in Fremont. Staffs are helpful.
Usually, I go to Bharat bazar every other day and I have been going there over 17 years..!They have located at Mowry now. The experience I had today was very disrespectful and I received very bad customer service today. The thing happened that a lady at checkout counter charged me different high price of one of the produce item. When I approach an old Sikh lady and explain the problem at first she ignored and show very unprofessional behaviour..! I approach the same checkout counter who has charged me more price then the old lady came and start to argue versus apology. I wasted over 20 minutes and the old Sikh lady was walking back and forth from the produce area and the checkout counter and then the old lady Claimed that was not right which I stated..! Unpredictable, unprofessional and uneducated staff in Bharat bazar..! I feel so disappointed ☹️
Large & spacious...wide coverage of Indian Groceries
Neatly arranged, fresh and billing persons are very friendly !
It is an Indian grocery store where you can buy almost everything related to Indo-Pak cuisine and needs. There is a separate section for vegetables and fruits. Frozen meat is also available but have to verify first if looking for halal meat.
Indian Grocery store. Well organized n spacious. Specific ladies at the counter very helpful but not all. Good variety of Indian items n brands. Reasonably priced. Prime location of store.
