My first time visiting this place. The customer service and the quality of the items purchased were good. However, the price per item is RIDICULOUS!!! It is one of the most expensive Indian grocery stores in Fremont.
Samosas are too good. Worth trying it out, you will love it.
Water is cheap but everything else is ridiculously expensive. Even a bag of sev is $4.50.Lot of the items dont even have a price tag included, so you wouldnt know the price till you check out. Makes for a very poor shopping experience
Extremely expensive. Any item is 50% more expensive than any other regular Indian grocery store. It was our first visit and the final bill caught us by surprise.Do not visit for regular grocery needs at all. They dont have price tags, one will realize the difference during check out. Not a single item is fairly priced.Last ever visit to this store!
I have been to this multiple times and always felt like I have to be extra careful not to buy expired goods.I once bought a Chawanprash bottle on which the expiry date was not present. Upon reaching home, my wife pointed that the expiry date was wiped clean - that is shady as f. Why even stock something like that goes beyond my imagination. On another instance I paid nearly 2X for a small pack of Maggi. This store is insanely expensive than other Indian stores present a short drive (~5 mi) away.I see multiple people calling them out on their BS so its not an isolated incident. They claim that the business has been active for last X years but that does not mean anything.Bottomline is : they are not being honest and transparent with their customers. Past success should not have any bearing on how they operate now.I will revisit them (maybe sometime in future as I believe in change for good) but for now, Sorry.
Beware of this store. They sell stuff comparatively much more expensive compared to other indian grocery stores. I recently went here and bought a few items. At checkout I was shocked to see the total of $53. I requested to check the prices. I took one of the item, and Indian brand cheese, with a a high price tag which I decided not to buy from there I bought the same item at another grocery store called India Foods which was half a mile away. They charged me $6 less compared to the price at Dulhan Grocery Later on looking at my receipt I see almost all items are more expensive than at other indian grocery stores. They claim their prices are in line with wholesale rates but its not true since I saw the proof myself. This is my last trip to this grocery.
Gujju ran store, little bit expensive but has a decent collection of Indian grocery. They also keep packaged food.
Ideal Indian grocery shop but expensive compared to the other similar stores.
Tasty samosa...first time there
In these extreme times Dulhan groceries is graciously offering curb side delivery where the shopper will place the grocery bag in the trunk without one getting out of the car.All stocks are available and the pick up time is short .Quality groceries and you don’t have to worry the uncertainty of online grocery shopping experience. You call them and txt the grocery list beforehand. I am getting the groceries within 30 minutes of the placement.
We visited last week, but not worth the visit. Some items were stale and not eatable. For one item even we asked whether its fresh and the owner even said yes, but it wasnt fresh and crispy and the items were pricey compared to other stores.
Most expensive grocery store ever
Very clean, fresh veggies and good gujarati stuff.
Very expensive
Its a huge store and you will find everything there just that its way too expensive than any other Indian grocery store. Everything is almost double the price so I basically go there if I dont find something at my regular store.
Visited this Indian store in Fremont for the first time. Usually I shop in Sanjose. This place felt pricier
Just visited today, and got robbed with high prices and expired groceries,I paid overall $25-$30 average more in $100 total compared to other indian grocery store. My first and last visit.I cant believe i paid $15 for tata tea which is expiring in 10 days, called store and they said no refund only store credit.
Great service. Reasonable prices.
I wish I can give 0 stars. I brought so much of stuff at this place and 80-85% stuff is expired.I wished we checked before buyingDon’t ever ever go here.Oh I forgot 1 things... it’s freaking expensive than other stores
Its a nice place to shop. But only thing is the fresh veggies are a little pricey compared to others. Other than that its nice.
Always well stocked and the cleanest most organized Indian grocery store. Helpful owner and staff always know where things are and guide you correctly in the store. Overpriced but they have quality stuff here. You get what you pay for!
Place is quite clean for an Indian grocery store. It is a bit pricey compared to the other stores. Sometimes they dont remove expired stuff. The variety they have is quite huge, still so its good. Parking is a bit of a problem because there are many famous Asian restaurants nearby. Weekend evenings is vendor parking is hard.
Very poor customer service and rude behavior. I got their dahi-vada one Sunday afternoon and it tasted stale. The vada were very hard and the yogurt was not thoroughly mixed and were in clumps. Didnt taste good. I called the store right away and the cashier girl was courteous enough and asked me to come back and exchange for another one.A couple days later, when I went to store, the store owner Anju refused to honor the statement. She started to defend herself Nobody complained. You are the only one. (That implies as if I was making a false statement). I told her I have been buying it for many months and this was the first time it was bad. She didnt want to listen further and said Ill give you $3 off max. On my way out, I saw the guy handling boxes (he is store owner, Anjus husband, I believe). He told me I should have come back right away. I said this is not good customer service. He raised his tone with antagonism saying WHAT CAN I DO? IT IS YOUR PROBLEM. and left the space. Such rude behavior. I guess they are happy to lose a long-time customer for the sake of $6. Good luck with that! A long-time customer who never complained in the past decided to mention a bad experience and thats how they handled. A great customer service is a virtue that doesnt easily get penetrated into the skulls of some business owners. At least do not be rude to the customer.
Lots of option to choose from. Get lot of fresh as well as frozen indian foods. Specially the fresh roti.
Dulhan Grocery is conveniently located on Fremont Blvd near Luckys. Its a relatively small shop and is good for mid-week grocery runs or small item runs. Aisles could be better organized. During my last visit a very strong bad odor was coming from the corner of the store. Could me much more cleaner and needs better management. Staff is friendly.
Very limited selection of produce
Excellent place for World Class Samosas. Nice service. You will not be able to get better samosas anywhere else in the Bay Area.
This is really expensive Indian grocery store which i ever found. They are looting in crucial time. I suggest never buy from this store.
Very clean, very organized and great friendly service. They have everything you need in an Indian grocery shopping. Plus great Indian food to go. Samosas are awesome.
Best samosas and chaat ! .
Very clean and homely encironment. You get all your childhood candies here.
Clean quality groceries. Friendly staff. Samosas and dhoklas are awesome.
Very close to my house and fresh vegetables and fruits available.
Trying to rob customers with high prices and bad quality and expired food. I bought mango Srikhand. Worst Srikhand ever I tasted. They said they prepare in house. Smells horrible from outside.
Our favorite store for getting Indian stuff. They have a kitchen near by which makes the best samosas and undhiyo! The grocery store carries the kitchen items cooked in small boxes, so we pick up cooked vegetables and rotis/theplas.
They overcharge for everything! Much better ones near by!
Best place to get all your indian groceries. Fresh vegetables every time that i went there. Owner is very respectful and has a smile on her face everytime that i have been there. Has all religious items. This place is definitely your one stop shop for all your indian merchandise. Prices are definitely marked reasonable.
Good Quality of Veggies and stuff.
Great grocery store. Especially for gujarati snacks. Their catering is awesome too. Very reasonable prices and great tasting food.
Great little Indian grocery store. Fresh veggies, friendly staff. Their samosas and dhoklas are fantastic!
We like the store its nice and clean and we find what we need. Thanks

Good for samosa, chaat(weekends only) and produce. Expensive for others
Excellent storeGreat peopleAnd samosa are the greatest ever...a lil pricey though
Good quality stuff and great service from owners.
Pricy $$$. But very well organized and well stocked.
It’s nice to have a corner store, but they charge 10-20% extra on every item and owner can be rude at times.
All Indian groceries are available here, fresh vegetables compare to near by Indian stores but a bit pricy.
Very convenient. And samsosa and chat are good
Best indian grocery store. Best samosa ever tested.
Everything is 100-200% overpriced. They also charge different price while billing than what’s advertised. You need to watch out and ask them every single time! Theft in morning daylight. Avoid at all costs.
The Best samosas in the Bay area.
Expensive than most other Indian Groceries stores.
Nearest to my place and best Indian store
Very high prices compared to other Indian grocery stores
Good indian grocery store, but bit expensive. Samosas is the best in town.
Has fresh snacks like samosa, decent variety of groceries, can do better with vegetables and fruits, tad expensive
Clean and all necessary Indian groceries
They have almost all the basic items but they dont carry a lot of frozen meat options such as frozen kabas etc
Great selection of veggies, groceries, convenient location
Good. Fresh produce and quality Indian grocery.
Fresh but Super Expensive. Every item is at least 60% expensive than any other Indian Grocery store in Fremont.
Overpriced and extra casual behaviour...
Great shop for Indian Groceries and stuff. A bit costly but good quality stuff
Very expensive when compared to other Indian stores. Avoid.
Indian grocery mart. Mainly crackers, small items and potable water.

Things are too expensive compared to other places.
Samosas are so good!
Has decent choices but a bit expensive.
Everything seems to be fine but it’s an expensive Indian grocery store relevantly.
