Excellent, excellent, excellent...I had engine work done previously at the Frisco Main location, and that was superb; they had my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer running smooth as silk. Just this past week (of Jan 2020), I had serious trouble, in traffic, with my transmission. As the vehicle has 238K+ miles, I should expect some issues, but this seemed like a show stopper, a death knell. I had it towed three times (another story), finally ending up at Frisco Automotive and Transmission #2. Nolan was very cordial, patient, and professional while taking in the TB for diagnosis and treatment.Sadly, it was the transmission, and replacement was the only reasonable alternative. Nolan explained the issue clearly and thoroughly so I could make an informed decision. This was a Thursday; amazingly, they completed the work by the end of Friday. I was expecting a much longer wait, so much so, that I was unavailable to pick up the vehicle that day. They were very easy going, saying Monday would be fine...and the TB ran beautifully.On Tuesday, driving to work, I suddenly had a engine stalling problem. Although it seemed unrelated to the transmission, I called FA&T #2 for assistance, to understand what was happening. Bill recommended I come in immediately, which I did. Ultimately, the issue was not related to the transmission, however, Bill and Melvin got me fixed up with a cleaned throttle body AND new freon and sent me on my way, no charge, just making sure I was 100% satisfied with the service.I heartily recommend bringing all you vehicles to Frisco Automotive and Transmission, #1, #2, or #3; they are consummate, no nonsense professionals and really understand what Customer Service is...Thanks to Nolan, Bill, Melvin, Warren, and all the team

The best automotive repair shop in the Frisco and Little Elm area.Their service and knowledge is by far the best that I have received.. The staff is extremely helpful and responsive. They will let you know what is wrong, what it will take to fix it and will not over sale. I highly recommend them. Glad to see that they are now on the West side of Frisco.

Jason is the best! I found this place because it is very close to my house and I wanted to support a small, locally owned business and I needed to get a vehicle inspection. He helped me out when I was told by AAA that I needed a new alternator when I only needed a new battery. Melvin came to my rescue and helped jump my car. I will definitely be coming back to Frisco Automotive for everything I need with this car. Great service and friendly staff!

I have an error reader code that I hooked up to my car. I called here and asked him to give me a price based on this error code. He kept saying bring it in ...bring it in. I tried to explain things to him he kept interrupting me and arguing. I said let me explain my why. He kept arguing. I said you won’t let me talk its not smart to sit and argue with your customer. He said. I don’t think i like this customer...and now there is no chance I’ll be a customer. I’m in sales in the automotive industry and I have plenty of patience and listening skills ...I talk to a lot of people. Work, the gym, lake etc ....just sayin.Who the hell argues with a potential customer like .....Funny already called two different places and they said. Sure. Here’s a quote. It could changed if we find different things.Perfect

I highly recommend this place. I was in a pinch because my air-conditioning on my handicap van stopped cooling, and I had a road trip to take the following day in the hot TX weather! Jason was awesome! They picked up my van that morning, repaired the ac, and delivered van back to me that same afternoon all in time for my trip. Fair pricing, great customer service and repair! I’m a penny pincher, and used to drive all the way to Duncanville to get repairs done for a third of the price other places charge, however, now that I’ve found these guys, they are my go to from here on out! My SUV (single mom) was making a grinding noise to my “knowledge” which can mean thousands of dollars. I called frisco automotive because they are only 1 mile away from me, I noticed in another comment, a bad phone call, well to be properly diagnosed and fixed, coming in is the best thing for diagnosis, or typically there are communication problems. I came in, and was in and out. Nothing was wrong with my 4Runner.While they test drove and took a look, the owner Jason, let my daughter sit on a little motorcycle and was incredibly patient with her, and all of her questions, while running a business. His communication with Melvin and his employees was amazing.It’s rare to have a honest, kind, mechanic that doesn’t think you are ridiculous for hearing “something” then additionally to walk out owning nothing, only put me at ease.I will definitely recommend to all of Frisco and Little Elm! The small things in life really are the big things! Thanks Frisco Automotive!

I love how they work, told me every step of the way what my car was doing and how they could help fix it. Transmission work is always scary, but I had a sense that they wouldnt try to make me pay for something I didnt need and in fact put forward a different thing, cheaper thing, to do first and it worked. They know their stuff and will always go back to them. As long as you understand they need your car to actually look at it and can not give quotes over the phone, which makes sense, they will take very good care of you and your car.

These guys are far beyond great, they set the very high standard and surpass it. I went in because my truck was hesitating and had loss of power. They greeted me when i walked up with happy faces that didnt just want my money. Customer service, check mate.They swiftly started the diagnostic and found the problem, they informed me it was the injector. Very fair pricing.Im in sales, so i know the sales game, they did not hit me with any of that. Very shocking because other places say this and that is what is needed.Not these guys.True customer service, True mechanics.These people are Blessed by The Best.Thank you all!

I’m always needing maintenance work done on my car as I drive a lot. After constantly being let down and given the run around by several leading Auto repair shops, I gave it a whirl and posted on Facebook for recommendations. Jason and his team came highly recommended by several of my clients. I was very happy with the timely service I received and the detail to the work they did. My little putter has found a new fix-it home. 😃

Super honest, which was a relief. I went to a place who quoted me TWICE as much for less work! And Jason is very quick to answer any questions and get back with you; I’ve had a shop have my car for two days fixed and never told me it was done until I called, so I appreciate the communication!
