This team was excellent super friendly and professional! I highly recommend them especially because of the way they respected my request to have whoever was working on my car wear a mask and gloves since I am immunocompromised and not a candidate for the vaccine. I had just gone to a different location owned by and managed by someone else earlier in the morning and got such a negative vibe and such attitude that I got in my car and left. These guys were the total opposite and I so appreciate their willingness to accommodate my needs with a smile on their face. Special shout-out to Aaron who did my state inspection and to Carl who was super knowledgeable and helpful. He was eager to educate me and suggest things I should probably look at. I was not going to deal with oil today but because he was genuine and because he was so friendly I said go ahead and check my oil. I found out I had basically no oil in my car! He did the same for my cabin air filter which BTW was filthy and the reason why I did not feel good in my car for the past few months!

For starters I was greeted by Tyler as soon as I pulled up. He invited me in to relax and keep cool in the lobby. By the time I pulled out my tablet to log in my truck was done. Excellent service all around. Two thumbs up guys.

First time here! Got my oil changed. I came an hour before closing and they got me in quick and with no issues. Carl explained everything to me really thoroughly and checked in with me to make sure everything was how I wanted it. He even vacuumed my front floors while my oil was being changed. Great experience and I will be coming back!

I went for headlight bulb replacement and one who replaced headlight bulbs has missed out to screw removed screws and also the latch that is attached to washer tank. I have paid the premium amount but the mechanic who did it is not well trained and I would not visit this place again if they fail to fix it tomorrow when I take car to themUpdate:I have visited the place and Tyler has assisted me when I mentioned the issue and fixed it. They are friendly to me and charged no amount to take care of it. I would definitely do business with them again. The person who did the replacement in the first place is no longer working in the place.

Employee’s here are very respectful, Taylor became a good friend to me, My car had a oil leak problem when I visited for the 1st time, I haven’t mentioned the problem very clearly to them, unfortunately it started leaking too heavy so I went there for the 2nd time but the issue was not solved yet. But Taylor took special care & figured out the problem & explained inch to inch very detailed with patience, he offered me to fix the issue at the best price. They even offered me to clean my drive way where the oil got leaked. I respect their hospitality 🙏. Employee’s over here are very busy so try to explain & ask them to check if there is an issue with your car so that they will help us to find it clearly or fix it.

I came here to get my oil changed because my car keeps telling me to. The helpful techs showed me that I didnt really need to change it despite what my car said. I had plenty of clean oil left. Took my truck in for a 90,000 mile service. Very disappointed at the results and level of professionalism. I understand fair pricing ... but $100 for a $35 shock?..$25 for a $7 spark plug? Really?..there are several other issues I wont go into here...bottom line is, I have emailed my concerns, no response. I went by the location to discuss my concerns, and was told my information would be forwarded to the the Service Manager and he would be in contact with me....nope, a week later nothing.I can only assume at this juncture, that KwikKar is NOT in the Customer Satisfaction business, ..nor is it part of there culture. I am concluding that my only other option is to track down the owner and visit with him/her., and file a report with the BBB......Buyers beware !

Friendly place for car repairs. I have had alot of repairs/maintenance done here to my car. I trust them! The other kwik kar on Legacy-I do not, caught them trying to charge me for something that was not broke.

Very helpful. Was able to do my brakes, oil change, and chk another area I had a problem with. Very friendly and will deff come back. They knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and didnt try and add extra or over charge like other places.

We had rodents get into our vehicle and mess it up pretty badly. The guys at Kwik Kar worked TIRELESSLY for months to get to the bottom of it! When the check engine light would come back on because of the hidden damage rodents did, they’d keep working until they figured it out!! Thanks for all your hard work!!!

UPDATE week later wife said after oil change she noticed a noise under dash its the cabin air filter fan..then I remembered they suggested replacement of filter but me being a diy guy figured I would replace it I opened the case that says do not let debris fall into fan and behold there is now leaves in there .I am still trying to get all the little pieces out of my now noisy fan WOW.

Would like to give -5 rating. I went there as my car passenger window not going up and they charged $115 (labor charge)to diagnose and asked to replace regulator and motor. So I came up with my own part from auto parts and they said its defective, so window wont go up. So they replace with their own part which is more expensive rather than auto zone auto parts price and they charged again $55 as labor charge. Eventhough window wont go up and finally they said its electrical board issue. So they suggested to replace that too.They misguided me as my regulator and motor not working and other new part also defective. And they were not ready to accept its their fault and they couldnt diagnose properly and moreover they said their part is working fine.Am not in the position to argue with them as I came from San Antonio for weekend trip with family and spent more than $400 for worth less repairingPlease be aware while you go there and they are not well trained honestly.

Went there for Bronze car wash listed price $7.00, and my credit card got charged $10.00 for a very quick automatic wash. If the credit card is charging more than the price they are displaying that’s cheating the customers. I will never go again. I rarely write reviews but my experience at this place forced me to write this. I went there for the state inspection on 05/14/20. It was the time when business were in a bad shape due to the fear of COVID-19. I was almost sure that they would perform an autopsy of my vehicle like everyone in this business and hand over the laundry list of items that needed attention. I was surprised that they just performed the inspection and handed over the keys instead of mentioning millions of things that I had to get fixed. They could have made some money by lying to me and I could see that they were in need of business.Fast forward a few months, my other vehicle needed alignment so I took it to Brakes Plus on Eldorado/Custer on 11/06/20. After spending some time on the lift, they came back and told me that the suspension was in terrible shape. A band-aid fix would cost me $400 to add cam bolts to all four wheels. If I wanted to do it right then it was going to be $1868 for all of the four struts to be replaced and that still included four cam bolts.I am a home mechanic and although not a very good one but I can still figure out if things do not make sense. A vehicle that had never been even in a minor crash would not require a cam bolt on every wheel. Looking for options, I remembered this place so I called Thomas. He asked me to bring the vehicle and promised me that he would take a look at it and give me an honest opinion.The total bill for the alignment came out to be $90 and no cam bolts were required. Anyone with some understanding of the suspension can easily figure out from the attached report that a cam bolt was not needed on even one wheel. Brakes Plus was either lying to me or I hit 4 pot holes at the very right angles to correct the camber on all four wheels while driving from that intersection to this place.This is the only place that I would use and I would highly recommend them. Their rates are competitive and you get an honest opinion which actually makes them much cheaper than others. My request to people who had a not so good experience is to reach out to Thomas directly. He is a reasonable person and I am sure that he would try his best to address the issue. My advise to Thomas is to try to reply to the bad reviews as well and not just the good ones.Update 05/21/21I went there for the annual inspection and although they did not find any issues but they did open up everything like every other place. The good thing about them on my last two visits was that they did not perform an autopsy of my vehicle without my permission. This time they behaved like every other in this business. I only want the shop to do what I am there for. Anything else, they need to ask if I am interested or not. They made me wait just to check different things that just wasted my time.They are still better than others since I have been to crooks who failed the inspection so that they could make money.I would request the owner to please ask for permission even if they are offering this free service for everyones benefit.

Theyve been working on my cars for the last 3 or 4 yours I have always had excellent service at a reasonable price

While I understand all Kwik Kar locations are privately owned basic service prices, for the most part, should be similar. The service technician attempted to up sell me on an air filter that I’d recently changed myself as well as a coolant flush which is not, per my manufacturer guideline, due for another 20K miles. I refused. At check out, my invoice reflected an additional disposal and filter fee. I’ve never been charged an additional fee for an oil filter change. After all, that is part of the oil change service. When I questioned the charge, the technician surmised that my car required a “special filter”. When I told him my car does not possess special requirements for an oil filter and I’ve never been charged to replace that at any other Kwik Kar center he rebutted with, “every location is separately owned” thus prices are different. Hmmph...ok. I won’t be returning to this Kwik Kar as I only patronized this location for the $15 off coupon. I’ll continue to have my services done at the Legacy Drive location where the technicians are always transparent and service is always expedient and top notch. I never pay for more than I need, they don’t attempt to up sell or assign added fees to meet the bottom line, and I walk out paying less than $60 with the standing coupon offered the same service. A rating of three is assigned for completing the service requested.

2nd time trying this place out, since its so close to home. Both times I sat in my car for 10 min and no one in the bays. This time I got out to look for someone to help and couldnt find anyone. On my way out I saw a worker poke his head out, but continued to sit and seemed not to care customers were needing help. Last time Ill even look at this place***edit: went in today to give them one more chance after hearing its under new ownership. Was immediately greeted when I arrived, very professional staff and was in and out within 20 min along with oil change and inspection. Ill continue to come back if service continues like today.

Speaking specifically for this location; I was very impressed! My dealership package expired so I was on the hunt for an honest shop. After to going to two other shops for an inspection and being turned around due to machine being down or broken I wound up here and I’m so glad I did. I got the inspection, breaks, and rotors changed on our Mercedes GLK. They told me back breaks had some wear and I would have replaced them if they suggested it but he said to just come back no need to waste what’s left. Really appreciate the honesty and I’ll certainly be taking both of our cars here. Lobby was nice too, watched some football and had some coffee! Excellent service!!

This used to be the service center I attended for oil and inspections. Staff was nice until my last 2 visits. One visit was for an oil change where I was told the steering fluid needed to be changed. I had it changed outside that establishment and the next visit, about 5 months later, I was told the same thing! Really?! Only because they did not change it does not mean you come back and tell me it needs changed again?! Look at the color!--NEW FLUID! Another visit was an inspection for emissions on another vehicle that they could not perform adequately. Trying to go around to do other things. Left that business and had it done no problem at another business in Prosper. Great job DRIVERS EDGE! GREAT RECOMMENDATION for those that need work done and done right without robbing you!

Took my truck to this location to improve AC performance. Truck has been in and out of the shop many times over the course of 2 months. Im told that every single piece of the AC system has been replaced now, but the truck AC was blowing hot air before I got it home for the 5th time yesterday.The employees at this shop have been friendly and helpful, but I dont have time to continue dealing with this problem at this repair shop. Ill just eat the $2000 Ive sunk here and start over at a different shop.

Great experience with Kwik Kar - Frisco. The employees were pleasant and got to work on my car there and then. It was a good experience, and I feel more comfortable about going to them again for a car fix. They dont try to up-sell you on services that you dont need. They just cheat people. I went to change the oil and they did not do anything, they just checked the levels and they say they changed it. How is it possible? if they did not take any time. No oil they have in their hands, sorry but thats not how the real mechanics look. And also, they do not even give you the opportunity to say that you want to do it to the car, I wanted synthetic oil and according to they put regular.

I go to this location almost twice a month as Kwik Kar is just down the lane, of my Dads place. I get my vehicle aligned from here and am impressed of how they fix everything. Theyve never tried to up sell me or Daddy and nothing is overpriced here. I use their services more often than my mechanics at Dallas. Its come to point where they expect me to come and greet me pleasantly, Mike is friendly and kind. They get right on to work. I like how they tell me all the details so I can make a decision. Love this place! The owner/manager is a great guy. Very fair. I come here for routine oil changes, alignments and they even fixed both of the regulators on my car windows.

DON’T DO IT! You will regret it. I purchased a synthetic oil change ( $98) and received more problems then ever anticipated. After the oil change. My car was leaking oil I took back and was informed the mechanic was a newbie and placed a stripped plug on my oil pan and they stated was fixed. Well, still leaking. I returned, they stated purchased a plug that belonged to my car and now should be good to go. Well, still leaking. I returned, now they stated nothing to do with my oil change (or anything they had touched) my car was leaking from the main gasket between the transmission and engine! I should take to Dealer because this is big problem! I had already planned to take to dealer and did so. Per dealer the car was leaking through the drain plug and Oil filter cap o ring. WOW! We called to inform them they stated owner will call us and still have not heard from the owner, MO. Now $390. Later my car is not leaking. BewareIvan the manager was

Tried to take advantage of my wife, selling unnecessary services at exorbitant costs. $400 to change spark plugs. $1200 to fix a $30 sensor that the manufacturer had a service bulletin on. Said they found an oil leak on an assembly located under the manifold. they did a simple diagnostic. No way they could have disassembled the engine to visually inspect the part. Also quoted the same labor time for spark plugs and the assembly replacement. I did the spark plugs in 30 minutes. They quoted 3 hours.

Told me they would pass my inspection if I pre-ordered a tire. Thats how they do business here.

I once loved this place. Im not sure what happened, perhaps an ownership change? During my last visit which was for a state inspection my headlamp housing mysteriously melted and the bezel for my drivers vanity mirror apparently broke itself. This was their second chance as the previous visit left my cars interior looking like a greased cat was locked in for a day. There is a new location on legacy south of Lebanon different owners, nicer waiting room, and you dont leave feeling like you dropped your soap in a prison shower.

Not sure why they get so many negative reviews, but my experience with them was good. I went to get my brake pads replaced and it just cost me $300 and was out in an hour. I encourage others to try them out again.

They told me I need to change the air filter and the cabin filter as well the transmission fluid, and when I arrived to my house my husband told me that he had changed before.

Dont know why the current rating is only 2.6; guessing that the public has not caught up to the change in management over the recent past. Been going here for years for routine stuff like inspections and oil changes. Recently I required more extensive repairs and Ive gotten excellent service from this Kwik Kar location. They take the time to explain necessary repairs that relate to safety - with no pressure to authorize needed but not urgent repairs. New manager on board for just 4-5 months and things are running smoothly - staff/mechanics are happy which translates to better customer service all around. I dont hesitate to recommend Pasqual and his crew at Kwik Kar - Frisco.

The service at Kwik Kar is great! I had a problem with my cars breaks and I needed to get them fixed last minute to go on a road trip with some friends. I brought it in really last minute but they were able to locate the problem and effectively have the job done in time! The employees are really kind and caring, and they understand mundane issues that other services may not have be willing to solve right away. These guys did and I cant thank them enough for it. An auto repair shop worth to visit. This morning I decided to buy another new set of tires and with a lifetime alignment for my other car over Costco, Michelin deal. I know I can get competitive deals and a quick service now and later on.I am an early bird person. I always scheduled my appointment at 8:00 on Sunday morning and waited in the lobby. If it is just an alignment job, I know I will be out of the store with an hour. If tires replacement and alignment like today I was gone by 10:00.The staff working at the store are very professional. They are friendly which works well for me. I am just glad that Kwik Kars computer system works and I dont need to repeat myself each time when I need something done.

LIARS! I would give them negative 5 stars if I could. My brakes were squealing, so I pulled in there to get them checked. I had never been there before. They told me the front brakes were worn out and needed to be replaced, pads and rotors. They also said that the squealing sound was coming from the squealers on the pads that are supposed to squeal when the pads are worn out. The price they quoted me seemed expensive, so I declined, and got pads and rotors from a parts store to do it myself. I pulled off the front wheels today and found that the pads and rotors are in almost new condition, not worn out as they said. So, they flat-out lied to me, and wanted to overcharge me for the parts as well ($200 for premium pads vs. $50 that I paid at the parts store). Also, a lot of the recent 5-star reviews look fake.

Take your business somewhere else !!! This Company worked on my car for over a month for the same problem each time I got my car back my check engine light would came on two days later. The only reason I returned was because they filed a claim on my warranty coverage. I had to pay a deductible each time they fixed something else (not the the actual problem) that was suppose to fix the issue. The very last time they held my car for five days just so I could return for them to tell me to take my car to the dealer. The worst part is even though they did not fix what I came in for they wouldn’t even return my deductible at the very least after collecting over $1000 from my warranty company.

This is the worst auto shop you can visit. They are literally there to extort you and have the worst customer service. Went in for my inspection, and they failed me for my wiper blades, trying to make me buy theirs and even though I declined, they charged me for the inspection anyways. Went somewhere else and was told my wiper blades were fine and had my inspection done. Take your business somewhere else, they will make you buy thier car parts or fail your inspection. Its a win win for them.

Know the saying Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Well I must be an idiot. The front desk woman was openly annoyed that I had my son with me for an oil change and while playing with the dirty toys that they provide there she turns to me and states, You know youre picking those up, right. It was weird and uncomfortable. If you dont want to pick up toys then dont put them out. I vowed Id never go there again. But shame on me I went back for an inspection sticker. They charged me $40 for the sticker then I go to get in my car only to find no sticker and an estimate for $800 worth of work. I went back in and the same rude woman told me I would get it when I did the $800 worth of repairs. There are lots of places that do cash for pass and/or at least explain whats wrong with your car. I will never go there again.

Waiting room wasnt exactly plush, but the seats were comfortable and the A/C kept the temperature cool despite the summer heat. Inspection was completed in a timely fashion. Staff was pleasant and didnt try to upsell me. Given that getting a vehicle inspection is inherently a bit tedious, this was about as positive an experience as one could reasonably hope for.

Nice place for your car, they do all kind of repairs.You can come here for state inspection and in case something is not right they will let you know right there whats the issue and how much is this going to repair that part.They got a nice small waiting area with basic amenities like coffee machines, water, have sitting for 6-7 people.Manager speaks spanish thats an add on if you are more comfortable in spanish.
