Been with them for many years and they have always been very friendly and concise with their services. Dr. Suelflow is amazing, very thorough and patient. Always takes her time and focuses on me for as long as I need her to answer questions and I never feel rushed. Not sure why they have anything lower than 4.5 rating, they have always been exceptional.
I had my first visit at this office yesterday! And I was beyond impressed. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful from start to finish. They made sure all of my concerns were heard and went above and beyond. So thankful to have found a new eye doctor.
Everyone in the office was very helpful and friendly. I was impressed at how thorough by first appointment was and appreciated how everything was explained to me. in detail.
Today was my first appointment - staff was very professional and helpful! I was examined by Dr. Lindsey Suelflow. She is great! Very thorough explaining my eye scans. I was very much at ease! I made the right choice with this eye care clinic!
This has to be one of the most unprofessional places I have ever purchased glasses. I bought 2 pairs of glasses from this place. The 1st one they told me the style my son had was discontinued, so they couldnt honor the warranty, so I bought a new pair. After having the glasses replaced with 2nd pair, they told me they wouldnt honor the warranty, because he had them replaced 2 times already. There was a limit on the # of times they could replace. I wasnt mad when I heard this, just disappointed because I was told it was a year warranty. I was never told there was a limit. So, I ordered a new frame. The lady who helped me told me she would place the order and call me in 5-7 business days. I never heard anything, and after about 9 business days I called, and was told they didnt have an order for me. After numerous issues over a year, I feel there are better places to get glasses. Very disappointed in the customer service as well as lack of transparency with the employees. I feel they want to get the sale, and leave out information.
Dr. Wagner is great, but customer service of staff needs major improvement. When you call, they may or may or may not answer. When they do pick up, if they tell you they will call you back, don’t expect it to be timely. Sometimes they don’t call back at all.I requested Crizal coating on my lenses. Was told it was Crizal, but it was not. Anyone knows that when you have the Crizal coating, you receive something advising to register your lenses for warranty purposes with them. This office advertises as luxury eye care, but provides non-luxury and mediocre service.
So, I love this place. Always friendly and fun staff, they run on time and are very responsive to phone calls and questions. I saw Dr. Wagner this year, and she hooked me up with some amazing contacts which COMPLETELY change how I perform at work. Its like...I have my eyes back, and am not dependent on glasses constantly. So appreciated, and not just at the work...at home, in the gym, not always worrying about glasses...where to put them, how to clean them...so grateful. Big fan of Frisco Family Eye Care.
The staff is very professional and handles everything in a timely manner. I definitely would recommend coming to have all you eye needs met. They are extremely knowledgeable and go above and beyond to satisfy the patients. Getting my contacts seemed effortless and I felt confident about my vision when I left.
Excellent care and friendly staff, great experience all around. I was very well taken care of. Highly recommend Frisco Family Eye Care.
Lifesavers! During this pandemic I broke my glasses. I called around, and no one would attempt to fix them. Luckily Frisco Family Eye Care told me they would attempt to fix them. They did an amazing job, and now I dont have to use an old prescription to make it through this quarantine. They went above and beyond my expectations. This is now going to be the only optometrist/optical I use. Again Thank you.
Everyone here is very sweet and professional. Had a very great experience and plan on using their business again.
Staff is always extremely helpful and nice. Even through all of the COVID stuff recently they have been nothing but sincere and accommodating.
My family and I love Frisco Family Eye Care. The staff, from reception to the doctors is amazing. They make you feel welcome, they listen to concerns and are caring and professional. They have a wonderful selection of frames (and are honest to a fault if they don’t look like right 😉) I recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good practice with genuine staff.Brianna
The staff was very welcoming and professional. I never felt rushed during the whole process and I walked out satisfied. Best eye place I’ve been to so far!
I have been to Frisco Family Eye for last 2 eye exams. They are very thorough with their exams and the office staff has been very helpful. This time, after seeing one of the doctors, Diana assisted me with picking out frames and order my glasses as well with the fitting once they came in. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. At no time did i ever feel rushed and she was cheerful and polite the whole time.I will definitely recommend Frisco Family Eye to my friends and family.
Ive always had great care at Frisco Family Eye Care with Dr. McDaniel. Everyone there is very nice. If my insurance changed and they didnt take my new insurance Id still go there and pay full price. Wait time is always very short, but Ive never felt rushed.I wouldnt go anywhere else.
I am very happy with Frisco Family Eye Care. My family and I have been going there for many years. Dr McDaniel and his staff are great!! Have never felt rushed with eye exams or selecting frames. I have a difficult prescription and Dr. McDaniel has always done an excellent job of figuring out glasses and contacts that will work for me.
Incredibly rude and condescending over the phone. Was about to schedule on behalf of a new patient, and changed my mind after speaking with them... I told them I wanted to secure a time slot for an appointment and I would call back with the patients insurance information before the end of the day.. I was placed on hold 3 times and spoke to 3 different people and ultimately the last person I spoke with condescendingly remarked Well this is a medical office. So we need medical information.. Very unimpressed with their people skills as well as their ability to accommodate new patients and set up new patient appointments.. At the end of the phone call I said Thank you but I think Ill be going someplace else. She said That sounds great! Thanks! Sounds great to them that their attitude is deterring potential patients, so I would not recommend anyone go here. I suppose I dodged a bullet as there are several complaints on here regarding the patient care and rude, unprofessional staff. These people should realize there really isnt any room for rudeness when there are literally 4 other optometrists in a 3 mile radius! Too much competition to be so complacent about customer care.
If you want your concerns or problems with your new prescription ignored, go here. When you have a doctor/patient or business/customer relationship, you need to take your ego out of it and actually listen to the concerns or issues that your paying patient/customer may be having. It doesnt do them any good for you to dismiss their concerns. I understand that prescriptions can change but when I cant see with the new lower prescription and everything is blurry, even after weeks of trying to make things work, maybe a mistake was made. Maybe the patient accidentally squinted or whatever but you should still consider the issue at hand. After 17 years of -1.25 prescriptions and even the suggestion that -1.5 would work a little better, my eyes did not go to -.75 prescription. Again, it might of somehow been my fault for not getting my -1.25 eyeglasses out of the car, even after you said it was okay that I did not have them on my person. It doesnt do me any good to have a worthless prescription, especially since the military uses it to give me prescription gas mask inserts (glasses that go inside my gas mask) or tactical glasses to shoot with. Not to mention, I need them for driving and to see what my professor is writing on the board.Thankfully, after failed attempts to remedy the prescription or get retested, a receptionist finally decided to help me out and she spoke to the optometrist who made snide remarks under her breath and did not even address me, even though I was just some feet away. I thought I was back in high school and not in a professional place of business. Hope you have a better experience, wherever you may go.
I can not say enough about how amazing Dr. Suelflow and her staff are. The moment you walk in the door you are greeted and made to feel comfortable. They are super friendly and professional. If you are looking for somewhere to go for your eye care needs this is definitely the place to be. I refer all my family and friends to Frisco Family Eye Care.
I had a fantastic experience at Frisco Family Eye Care! The staff there was very friendly and patient with me considering I was new to glasses and contacts. I was surprised at how helpful they were at picking out my frames, and more surprised at how quickly I received them. I will continue to give them my business and recommend that all of my friends and family do the same!
I have never had such a bad experience getting new glasses in all my life. The doctors were nice as was the receptionist; however I think if I owned the place I would replace several employees. First of all the male person who fitted me with new glasses was very nice to my husband and just dealt with me because he had to. This all started in February 2014 when we visited for the first time and I got my final pair of glasses sometime around the end of May or first of April. The second time we went in was to pick up our glasses and my husbands glasses were adjusted so he looked like his eyeballs were twice their size because the glasses were sitting high on his face.Of course we had to come back a second time for his adjustment. The male who originally fitted us for glasses acted as if he didnt know either of us and worked hard to ignore us. My glasses were so bad that I had to go back within a week to tell them that I could not see out of them. They decided that the prescription might not be right and re-examined me. The technician who did this second exam was very rude and smart mouthed toward me. I made up my mind that I was not going to take his disrespectful attitude and went to the desk to cancel further appointments and leave the store. Both doctors talked me into staying and getting the exam completed. I did stay and went through the second exam and they ordered a new lens for me. The second lens was not right either and they had to order a third lens. The female who fitted my glasses was very nice and compassionate and figured out what the problem was and they ordered a third lens. The third lens is still not right but between my old glasses and the new ones I will manage until I can afford new glasses and my insurance helps pay a little. I also was not told that my glasses could not have the silicon nose pieces on them because the company does not make them for that new frame. If I had known that in the first place I would not have ordered the frame and the clip on sunglasses. I spent over $1,000.00 on my glasses alone and then several months later I got a bill for around $35.00 for part of the original exam that they said my insurance would not pay for. Well it just so happens that my husband spent over $800 dollars for his glasses and he has the same insurances that I do and he was not billed the extra $35.00. I guess even though it was a small amount, they thought they would get back at me for complaining. My nose is raw from these glasses and I still have problems with distance and some closer items. Bottom line is that if you are smart, you will not step a foot inside Frisco Family Eye Care.
We really enjoy our visit. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The Doctor went over everything step by step and made sure we understood. Definitely recommend coming here.
Dr Suelflow and the entire staff are so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I was struggling with finding contacts for my dry eyes and their patience went above and beyond. I feel confident recommending this practice to anyone!
The people over there are awesome and the services they offer are excellent. From the friendly staff to a great and knowledgeable doctor, they will always take care of me. Ill definitely recommend this place.
The selection of elegant and fine eyewear is amazing, you will never find this at Costco. Go see for yourself. Staff who help you find what goes really with your face measurement not what is offered in their stock. I love their professionalism, their finesse and patience.
Love my glasses. From the eye examine, selecting frames, to the fitting of the frames my experience was wonderful. Working on the computer numerous of hours per day Dr. McDaniel was the first to recommend occupational lenses. While selecting my frames I never felt rushed and knew that Crystal was knowledgeable. Thanks Frisco Family Eye Care.
I dont go there anymore. The service at Costco for eye exams is faster and offers better pricing. The vision products at Costco, both eye glasses and contacts are also better priced. Im a Costco customer now, great service, great pricing.
Great Experience! This was our 3rd time at Frisco Family Eye Care and the experience was great. My son felt at ease the entire time, and all results/options were explained in a clear way that was easy to understand. Dr. McDaniels is great.
I have always dreaded going to the eye doctor, but they staff here are extremely nice and helpful. Dr. Suelflow is very polite and respectful and doesnt make you feel like you are just being rushed through to get to the next. I would recommend friends and family to go here.
Nice enough people working there. Frames are a higher price than I would expect for the brand (or non brand) names. The Eye Doctor takes Way too long to get through the appointment. Not that he is examining you slowly, he is just telling stories the entire time.
Love Dr. McDaniel! He and his staff were supper patient with my 12 year old son and teaching him how to put in and remove his new contacts. Everyone at the office was very welcoming and nice. He will be our familys eye care doctor for years to come!
Dr. McDaniel and his staff are always so professional and friendly. I have been a patient of Dr. McDaniel for 8 years, he is always thorough with his exam and is always willing to answer any questions I have. As a bonus, they have a great selection of frames and sunglasses. I love my new Oakleys! I always recommend him to all my friends and family.
Dr. Lindsey Suelflow is amazing. She is as at ease treating my 10-year-old son as she is with treating my 64-year-old mom who has dementia. We wouldnt trust anyone else with the care of our vision.
I had not had my eyes checked since grade school, and lately I had been noticing some blurred vision. I am in my mid-30s and have never worn glasses. I came in for a full exam and Dr. Biederman and her staff were incredible. They kindly and patiently explained all tests they were doing, and Dr.Biederman was extra patient with all the questions I had since I had never had an exam done. Learned a lot of interesting information about eyes, eye health, and glasses. Looking forward to my next visit!
The staff was friendly. The only thing I didnt like was the wait time was a little longer than I expected, but after meeting with the optometrist (Dr. Suelflow) I had a great experience! Will be coming here in the future and highly recommend Frisco family eye care!
Great service! Dr McDaniel was very patient and concise explaining and showing to my 12 year old granddaughter the odd problem with my vision. They have been my vision care specialists for several years and will remain.
Frisco Family Eye Care / Luxury Eyecare is the BEST eye care center in Frisco! Dr. Lindsey Suelflow and her staff are incredible. Dr. Suelflow saved my eye vision.I have been wearing extended wear contact lens since I was 16 years old. When I developed an eye infection, Dr. Suelflows staff worked me in to see Dr. Suelflow that day. I originally thought that I had a common eye infection. Dr. Suelflow immediately suspected that my infection was not a normal bacterial infection associated with most contact lens wearers. Upon prescribing my medication, Dr. Suelflow closely monitored the progress of my development. Days after prescribing medicated eye drops, Dr. Suelflow re-examined my eye. She noticed that the infection was not a normal shape and it was not getting better. Dr Suelflow made arrangements for a Cornea Specialist to see me that day. The Specialist immediately informed me that I was extremely lucky that my eye doctor, Dr. Suelflow recognized that I did not have a standard eye infection. An eye culture confirmed that I had a fungal infection caused by dirt blowing into my eye.The Specialist told me that Dr. Suelflow saved my eyesight by sending me to him immediately. I had developed a bad infection on my cornea. Because I was put under the immediate care of a specialist, he was able to save my eyesight. The Specialist told me that most of the patients he sees with a similar infection are referred to him after some eyesight is lost. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Lindsey Suelflow for catching it early..After my eye infection cleared, Dr Suelflow has convinced me to exchange my extended contact lens for daily disposable contacts. Dr. Suelflow made the suggestion in order to prevent future eye infections. Being sensitive about the price increase, she offered me two different brands of daily wear to chose from. Both brands were offered at extremely competitive pricing along with current rebate offers from the manufactures. I checked her pricing and she beat the competition pricing.Thank you Dr. Suelflow for your outstanding service..
I worried and thought that I might have vision problems so I decided to visit Frisco Family Eye Care. It was Friday afternoon a couple weeks back. Everyone was busy but Im glad that one of the staff took time to welcome me. Well, there were lots of patients too and when it was my turn, for some reason Im not sure why but just felt a little skeptical about the place. But after speaking with Dr. Suelflow, I was blown away! She is very knowledgable at the same time clear in providing advice. I got a new pair of glasses, I will definitely be recommending them to my friends in Frisco. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised.
I started seeing Dr. McDaniel from when he first started in Frisco many years ago, him and his staff were the best. My husband died and I had to go into Medicare and was told he did not take it, so I had to go somewhere else. Then in 2014 I found out he did take Medicare patients so I went back to him and for Dr. McDaniel himself he had not changed but his staff is very rude and will not listen to what you have to say. His 19 year experienced claims person has screwed up the claims and he has not gotten paid for 2014 and now looks like 2015 as well. She had the audacity to stand over me in the lobby asking me if I wanted to be seem by him stat day and I said that is what I was there for. She screws up paperwork and gives me attitude and because of her for the first time I did not get a complete exam with dilation for my diabetes, first time ever since having my eyes checked yearly, all because of her incompetence in billing insurance.
Please do everything to stay away from it.First of all, I was not aware until return to office that they have given me already expired contact lens for trail. Called them for explanation, Amber the staff said trial lens are good 6 months after expiration. When asked for contact lens price, they gave me a price that is 25% more than 1-800 contact advertised. Try to buy market rate contact lens from other VSP optician, then to realize they have charged all my VSP allowance at once. I have no choice but to stick with them for outrage contact lens order. Please spread the words around, stay away from this rip off family eye care.
Very friendly staff. Took care of me right on time and had my prescription done in no time.Overall awesome experience!
Great place! Very friendly staff. Had issues with my lenses in my glasses. They replaced them at no charge.
We had a very unfortunate and rude experience with them esp. Heather. Our family chose this over a lot of choices we could go to bec of the reviews, our experience wasnt good. We went there to get a customized frame for my husband and we asked them if they could make it to a prescription since the oakley frame was for sunglasses. Note: we have done this a lot of times without issues, from other optical shops. Same curved shapes of the frames and what not. They said they could make it happen.. then after a day or two, we called to cancel because we found out that they were selling the glasses way higher than online, but they somehow price matched just to get us. So first fitting done, tried on for a week.. and it was not working. Turned husbands eye red, swollen and he had severe migraines. So they said they would fix the prescription, 2nd fitting, tried again for a week, same eye strain was experienced. More workdays has been missed time with his kids and family due to more headaches. Then they suggested it might be because of the prism on the lenses.. and might be the shape of the frame..(but the shape rarely affects it) accdg to the DR. Suelflow then they suggested to take the prism out and remake for the 3rd time! Both times are wasted here still my hubby cant use any decent glasses within these times. Come 3rd remake, eyes still red and STRAINED!!! they were now telling us that they think its the shape of the frame thats the problem if my hubby still feels pain! And their suggestion is to pay another $100 + something to get another frame! We already paid $235 out of pocket plus their charge for it on our insurance for the oakley frame! Then they want to charge us MORE out of pocket for glasses that is NOT working from day ONE!! Isnt that ridiculous??? And we couldnt return the failed product which we bought from them??? They dont want to return our money to get another pair of glasses that actually works! We are stuck and I think we were bullied by Heather saying that it is our fault we are insisting on what style of frame we wanted! Ridiculous, we dont mind spending this amount if we feel we really get what we paid for and a product that actually works, not makes us sick and endanger lives. I am not sure if its the laboratorys fault where they get the lenses made.. but they should be responsible and stand for their products and for The Vision of their Customers! DISAPPOINTING!!!Owner: from your reply, what is your clinics solution? Because we are still stuck with a pair of glasses that causes us medical issues right from the start. Its a case to case basis and maybe this rarely happens.. but we Did NOT Force your office to make this lens and style. We even called you to cancel the frame but you wouldnt want to lose the sale! We were merely thinking at first if the kind of frame we wanted would work and you said YES-- if Your expertise have known from the start that this wouldnt work, You shouldnt have accepted this request or style? Correct? You guys are the experts here, you should have turned this down right away if this types of requests arent common or has 0% chance of working. You pulled our chain too letting us expect and anticipate that you can work this out. Bottomline, why are you giving us a hard time returning this product and giving us our money back for a failed product? Common or uncommon dont these types of businesses have contingency plans for these types of scenarios? Insurance maybe? You would rather argue with a client for a few hundred bucks! Every visit for the whole family was paid for at this clinic.Fyi: your price was still higher than what we found online when we were talking about the frame, but we decided to still give you guys our business and gave you the benefit of the doubt. The eyeglasses are in excellent condition and we can return it right away to have another pair made. With the last conversation we had with Heather, she was telling us that this is not an option. Please clarify from your good office and for all your future customers.
The doctor and the assistants are very caring and check ups are very quick.
Didnt wait very long. They were very, very open and honest regarding questions I had about lasik and other items. I enjoyed them and will be keeping them as my provider for vision.
Update: Dr. Suelflow contacted me by phone/email and apologized for the mix up, in great detail. She provided a copy of the failed fax attempts and Dr. McDaniels letter to his patients. I have updated the review from 2 stars to 4.Ive gone to Frisco Family Eye Care (Dr. McDaniel) for the past three years and have never had any issues. When making my annual eye appointment this year, it was never mentioned to me that Dr. McDaniel was no longer with the practice. I wasnt notified of this until I was already in the exam room and the assistant mentioned it very briefly. Since I was already in the office, I decided to go ahead and continue on with my appointment. I ended up seeing Dr. Pharis, who was very professional, which helped ease my mind that maybe I hadnt made a bad decision by staying for the appointment. However, I still felt like I was duped into transitioning doctors.Fast forward to a few days later, when I stopped by LensCrafters to try on a larger selection of eye glasses (up until this point, Ive worn strictly contacts, but decided it was time to invest in a pair of glasses to wear at night and while driving). In order to get a price quote on a pair of glasses I liked, I needed to have my prescription faxed to LensCrafters. I called their office around 2PM on a Monday to make the request, and the office staff seemed to be in no hurry to have the prescription faxed over. We were in the mall, so we did some other shopping and came back an hour later and it had still not been received. After calling Frisco Family Eye Care a total of 4 times to make the same request, Im still waiting for it to be faxed (Wednesday at 12PM).Frisco Family Eye Care would prefer for me to buy my glasses from them, because they make a good bit of money on the retail side. Had they had a style that I liked, I may very well have purchased my glasses from them. I believe this is the reason for them dragging their feet and not faxing the prescription. This experience, along with being duped into seeing a new doctor and not being notified that the original practitioner had sold the practice, is the reason why Im leaving a 2-star review. Their communication is lacking to the point where its making me consider a new doctor. Hopefully this is something they can remedy to keep my business.
Theres a reason why I live in Dallas, but travel all the way to Frisco, TX to get my eye exams and glasses at Frisco Family Eye Care! The staff are always helpful while being so upbeat! More importantly, you can always depend on Dr. Sueflow to make sure that all of your needs and concerns are taken care of! Also, the selection of frames/sunglasses rivals anyone elses by having Tom Ford, Gucci, Ray Bans, MCM, and more! So friendly, experienced, and professional that you wouldnt want to go anywhere else in DFW! Thanks again for always taking care of me no matter how big/small the matter is! Cant say enough about this place!
I went here last October and was completely satisfied. I chose Dr. Suelflow as my doctor and was very impressed by her vast knowledge. She really explained a lot and took her time with me. I didnt feel rushed. The staff treated me great. I stopped in here to check out the place probably 6 months before I made the appointment. They were very kind then, and just as kind when I called to schedule appt. Finally when I did make it in, they were great! I love this place, Dr. Suelflow, and Shelly. She is a hoot! I will be back, and bring my family here. Thank you (9th cousin twice removed)
Unfortunately worst experience. It was use to be nice when Mr Patel was use to own this place. Very rude staff. Long story short make sure never get done your contact lense exam here. Go to walamrt, costco ro sams. They will tell you upfront the cost. Believe me. Worst experience ever.
I am very happy with Frisco Family Eye Care. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and both of the Doctors there are very nice and courteous. They also have a very large selection of both contacts and glasses.
Top notch. 10/10 would come again.
After my eye exam I received two boxes of expired contact lens. The lady that works there peeled off the label on these boxes thinking I wont figure it out. Too bad! The date is on the inside packaging too. And when I called in to ask for new contacts shes like we close at 6, you can either pick it up or pay $15 shipping. Why am I paying for shipping for some intentional mistakes they made? Bad services. Wont recommend this place to anyone.
We have been patients for a few years and they are always gracious and attentive. They are customercentric.
Friendly, knowledgeable, answers all my questions, and havent had any problems.
Review coming soon....
Thanks to them I have my 20/20 view again. Thank you very much doctors.
