Very disappointed with this business. They were more interested in pushing unnecessary services on me then meeting my requested need for just an eye prescription. You should be embarrassed by your tactics. They tried to act if I had no choice in selecting what services I could receive. I did have a choice - I walked right out of there. I have good mind to report them to the appropriate state agency for deceptive trade practices.

I feel I have been cheated on, I asked for a routine eye exam which is 100% covered by the insurance. I am new to the country and a new patient. I wasn’t told that the exam that would be conducted isn’t 100%covered by the insurance and I had to pay out of my pocket. Why was I expected to know this as someone who is A) a new patient and B) new to the country. There weren’t any issues with the services provided or with the doctor as such. Just that I am frustrated with the way they handle the new patient and literally look for ways to loot them.

All around great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and the doctor really cared about my results and gave explanations of everything. Could tell extra sanitation was happening too because everything was absolutely spotless. Wonderful job they did and I highly recommend them if you need your eyes checked. Location inside the mall is convenient too!

I was given a retina exam which costed me $39 out of pocket without checking with me whether i want this. This was very unfair and deceptive. On checking with the receptionist about why I was not pre-informed about the out of pocket expense, I did not get an acceptable response. All I got was usual practise. I am NOT going there again.

I loved the customer service and the detailed individual care. The doctor thoroughly explained to my son regarding a sphere retina. And he was very happy about that

Dr Farooq was really patient on explaining my eye condition, and getting the best glasses and contacts for me. She is very knowlegable in the field. I totally recommend her. All the staff was very interested on me having the best experience at Master Eye.

Dr. Farooq is amazing! As a cancer patient, I really appreciated the extra time the took to not only do my eye exams, but go over my retinol health after side effects of treatment. She goes the extra mile and truly cares about the well being of her patients. Her staff is so kind and welcoming.

This place is amazing! Dr. Faaroq Was so amazing in assessing my eyes. I found out so much information I even got a chance to look at a picture of the back of my right eye LOL! I love the fact that she uses up-to-date technology to examine my eyes. So I really appreciate how dedicated she is to help me in monitoring my eyesight. Since I wear such a high prescription, she really took the time to make sure that I was aware of the issues that I have. In time, they will be resolved, but it is better that I know now. I am so happy with the service I received. Everything was so fast and efficient. I went over to Visionworks and I found some extremely cute glasses and Gail was the one to help me out with that! She is hilarious! And we had such a good time picking out glasses that I will be wearing! Thank you master eye associates/vision works!!

I have done business with Eye Masters and Visionworks for 6 years. Usually have service above and beyond. This all changed today. I was 10 min late, which I figured would be ok since I usually sit for 15 min before going back. When I entered the receptionist was very rude. She said due to the fact I was late they could not see me. I had already done my paperwork and just needed a 10 min eye exam. There were no other customers in the store and the mall was like a ghost town. I drove 35 min to do business with this office. I will definitely find an optometrist that is local.

This was my first time visiting this facility and the experience was great. Dr. Farooq was very friendly & warm. She was very thorough with the information that she shared with me about my vision. I was really pleased and appreciative with her recommendations. I will be returning next time Im due. Great front office staff too...loved their professionalism & cautionary steps due to Covid.

Went there for the first time last week. Horrible experience. I paid to get my retinal mapping done. Doctor thinks there might be a hole in the retina. But to confirm, she wants me to schedule another appointment so she can charge my medical insurance. I went to another doctor yesterday. She could use my vision insurance to confirm there is no retinal hole. This doctor seemed very inexperienced and cares about only making money.

My experience at Master Eye Associates, was amazing. They took COVID very seriously, and had great protocols in place, to ensure everything was sanitized. The eye exam was very thorough, and everything was explained in a very comprehensive manner. Would highly recomend Dr. Farooq, as she was super helpful, in helping me understand my eye, and what if anything needed attention.Will def be coming back!

The two ladies up front were very nice.The protocol for covid was taken seriously. I felt safe.Dr Farooq was great! She remembered me from last year. She remembered my health issue that needed to be looked at. She also showed me the two problems in each eye we need to keep an “eye” on lolI’ll keep going there!!

Master eye associates were extremely friendly and efficient. Appointment was prompt and I was out of the office within 20 minutes with my RX for glasses and contacts. Additionally, all staff strictly adhered to CDC guidelines as to ensure the safety of their clients.

Everyone was welcoming and kind. The office was clean and well sanitized. Quick and easy eye exam.

Great experience here. My daughter and I went for eye exams for contacts and glasses. Very knowledgeable professional staff, and nice office environment. Its in the corner next to Macys inside the mall, next door to Lane Bryant, somewhat hidden, but was worth the visit. Definitely Recommend!

I had a very good experience at Master Eye Associates. The staff was very polite and helpful. The doctor was great and very knowledgeable about eye care. She advised me of things I had never heard before about the health of my vision and preventive measures. I didnt recommend this place to come for all your eye care needs!

I was in an out very quickly and the staff was super friendly even in that short amount of time. Love the glasses I picked out too, very cute!

Very satisfied. Very nice and attentive doctor. Professional equipment. I got my prescription for the glasses for the first time, but I didnt feel comfortable with the glasses I got. I came back to the doctor and she made all measurements again to make sure that she didnt make a mistake first time (and she didnt), we just figured out some specifics with my right eye after a couple of experiments, and she modified the prescription based on that without any charge.

I had my first appointment at this location to see Dr. Wagner. The office staff was very friendly and professional, and they did a great job on performing the pre-exam tests. I cannot say enough on how wonderful Dr. Wagner is at her job. She was thorough, personable and very professional. Dr. Wagner explained the exam as she was performing it and was very informative when answering all my questions. I absolutely recommend her for all your eye care needs.

Don’t like getting poked and prodded in the eye, but highly satisfied with the service. Dr. Farooq and her staff were extremely courteous and respectful. Highly recommend her especially if you’re one to avoid going to the eye doctor!

There is no Zero Star. Same issue stated in the other reviews. They give you Holiday Surprises when you visit them. So on phone your co Pay is X but once you reach there they will give you a different cost altogether and looks like a scheme to bring people to the door and fool them.

Lesson: always verify provider is in-network through your insurance even if the associate says they are. Called yesterday to make appointment and was told they were in-network. I arrived today and my insurance was not pulled up and I was told Id have to pay a contact fitting fee of $60. But, they hadnt pulled my benefits.... I was showing screenshots of my plans benefits to the associate and asked if my insurance provider was closed ( as I didnt understand why they didnt just call to verify my insurance) Ive never had to pull up my own info for a doctors office before. I said I would just call them to clarify the fitting fee, as I have never been asked to pay $60 dollars for one before. So, I sat down and called them and was told its because they are out of network -the reason the doctors office is asking for a fitting fee and if I go somewhere in-network I have no copay for the fitting. But, when I called the day before I was told they WERE IN-NETWORK. When I told them this she said, well we are affiliated, but not in-network, its tricky. Um....what? I would not have made the appt if I was told that yesterday. Also, I have worked for physicians before and we always had the patients insurance benefits pulled and understood BEFORE they arrived in order to correctly charge the patient.

Had a great experience with Dr. Farooq and her staff. They were very thorough with my exam and explained everything to me very clearly. Would recommend her to my friends and family.

I would highly recommend this location as well as Dr. Farooq. She was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process all while explaining each process to me. Dr. Farooq even made it a point to check in with me after the exam to make sure I was satisfied with my new prescription and contact lenses. I will definitely be returning for my regular eye check up.

The doctor was very friendly and explained everything well. I have to only give them two stars because they dont tell you until you get there that they require a back of the eye screening instead of dilatation that cost an extra 39.00 that is not covered by insurance so when my daughter and I went instead of it being 20.00 for the both of us it was 98.00.

This place is a joke. They just tried to charge me $221 for an eye exam. I have health and vision insurance. Ive never had to pay more than $70 for an eye exam in my life.

Its a little troublesome to go because its inside the mall, but its recommended because reservations are relatively open compared to other stores. I think the inspection itself is normal. It is located at the entrance of Macys on the first floor of the mall.
