I ordered my glasses at the store on August 8, and they told me I would get them in 2 or 3 weeks. Today is October 8 and I havent received my glasses. I have called the store 2 or 3 times and they always say they will contact me when they are ready for pick up. Last time I called they told me there was a delay in my order, but they will call me within 2 days to pick up my glasses. Its been like 2 weeks since that, and I still waiting.I only want my glasses because I need them and also I want to know or understand why my order is taking so long. They have not provided accurate information about my order. Its the first time I shop here I dont think I will do it again.I shouldve figured out this outcome by the attention at the store. When I was there I waited minutes for someone to take my order because I lady just sat me on a chair and told me she would come back to take my order, and later she was helping someone else. So I ended up asking another person to help me. At that moment I tried to be patient and thought maybe they were too busy, but after waiting too long for my order to be fulfilled, it seems that they usually take a long time for everything.
PAM took care of me today. She served me without charge. She removed a lens from my glasses. She was friendly, helpful, and very kind! Wonderful experience!
Tricia helped us today. I gotta say when insurance is so confusing to navigate. She was the best!!!! She was so patient and sweet with recommendations! We are so glad we got her today!
Came in for assistance on previously purchased glasses and they helped out. Just so friendly and inviting store. Highly recommend.
Went for my vision checkup. Should go more often and because I dont do this often I noticed lots of advancements. LensCrafters is investing in great technology to assist in getting the best fit. Frame choices are enough that you will have a hard time choosing. Great store.
Westley was a scholar and a gentleman. Absolutely kind and helpful when it came down to purchase my lenses. Originally wanted to purchase a new set of lenses and frames, but bc I had recently purchased Oakley frames from another retailer I just purchased the lenses from LC. Thankfully my prescription was low enough that the in-house lab had them ready for me within 30 min. Same-day satisfaction!!
Alexis provided me with A+ customer service today!!! Ihad an issue with a pair of glasses I purchased from a different location. I had previously gone to the Firewheel location and received less than ideal customer service. Not surprisingly at all, the issue reoccured.Alexis replaced my frame to ensure I didn’t have to deal with issue again. I am beyond relieved.
The service here is horrible I was waiting here and no one bothered to ask me anything not even a hello. This is the second time I have come into the store and failed to be treated with common decency. ****By the way the expensive lenses I ordered was cut wrong here and failing out of the expensive frames I ordered.****
Excellent service provided with the team at Stonebriar Center. Adjustments were needed to my purchase and they always accommodated me when I visited the store, with a pleasurable experience and infectious courtesy. This team is a value to LensCrafters. They clearly enjoy their role.
Tricia listened to what I wanted and recommended the perfect frames the first time. She made sure I got what was needed for my profession and hobbies. The whole process took at most 30 minutes from walking in to checking out. It is possible it was closer to 15 minutes. Friendly, helpful and professional.
We have shopped at the Frisco location for many years. The store employees are always very friendly and helpful. Ask for Tricia when you go in. She is knowledgeable, fast, friendly, and attentive!
I bought and received my frames and lenses online from LensCrafters.com without issue. They looked perfect with the exception that they were not adjusted for my head, which was expected. Its been ~a month since I received them and was near this Lenscrafters store so I thought I would get them adjusted. Mr. ONeil, the store manager, happened to be the person available to help me with adjusting the frames. He didnt appear to be careful with my new frames while adjusting them until after he asked where I got the frames (I had already told him Lenscrafters online when I walked in). After this his demeanor completely changed. He told me the lenses were not cut correctly, causing them to not fit the frames correctly. He told me I would need to ship them back so the lenses could be cut correctly. After leaving the store and getting a closer look at them myself, I realized that he had bent the notch that holds the lenses in a way that they couldnt possibly fit anymore. I went back to the store and pointed this out. He still swears up and down that the lenses are not cut correctly when the notch that holds the actual lenses is still bent in an unnatural way that cant fit them properly. Before coming to this store, the lenses fit the frames just fine, and the notch that holds the lens was not bent in a way that does not fit the lens.To top this all off. After he fixed them he told me I should have bought them from HIS STORE and they would have made sure everything is correct. This leaves a poor taste in my mouth as my experience online was professional, efficient, and acceptable. However, I go into a physical Lenscrafters store and they are unwilling to help with an adjustment to the point that they messed up my frames and suggest buying them directly from the storefront instead.I was told at the store that the way my frames are now, the lens will not pop out but, will just look a little off. I do not intend to ship them back as I need them for my job, driving to my job, etc. Functionally, they get the job done. For +$200, I was going for a little more than just functional though...Being a young adult, on my own and with a decent job, this was the first pair of glasses I have bought for myself, and I intend on buying a pair every year my insurance will allow. My job requires my eyes to perform well. If this is the level of customer care I can expect in person, from a manager, at Lenscrafters, I do not think I will be returning. I understand that mistakes happen, but it is unacceptable to mess up and then claim it is the fault of anothers work. Especially when it would be on the customers time to resolve the issue. Next time, own it Mr. ONeil.
I was with Tricia and she was extremely sensitive to my financial situation and found a plan and frames/lenses that worked for me and my family. I was concerned but I am very happy now and excited to get me new specs!
Short wait time, decent selection of frames, and friendly staff. Overall a positive experience.
Mark was amazing!
The eye doctor was the best I have ever seen. You have good selection of frames but you are a little expensive. You get what you pay for I guess. Thumbs up !!
Great service by Trisha and love the frame we selected...😁
Called to place an order to pick up glasses on the way home after speaking with them. They changed the price after running my card and then tried to tell me it would be 8 days before the money we be back on my card and I needed to pay with another card or they wouldnt give me the glasses. So now I am stuck with no glasses and they expect to keep my $200 for 8 days for their own mistake. Unheard of! You should have to wait the 8 days and run the card again. Its not my fault.
Tricia at Stonebriar Centre was incredible, her knowledge and expertise was a breath of fresh air.
I work with VSP insurance, daily. VSP most certainly allows most members to split benefits (to purchase frames separately using frame allowance, and then use a different provider to make prescription lenses). I understand that with out of network providers this is different but youre still entitled to a 20% out of network discount AND you can file an out of network claim for reimbursement. The sales woman with modified cat-eye glasses who was assisting my boyfriend insisted this was not so and they would/could not help us purchasing a RayBan sunglass frame. I would have not left this review had she not stomped her foot and gently waved her tablet while contesting me, as if she was experiencing an internal temper tantrum. Poor form. Ill make sure to never recommend this establishment or chain to patients ever again. :)
I would highly recommend Kim!! She is far beyond professional. I have strong power in both eyes and both sphere & cylinder. Making a comfortable pair of eye glasses had been always a luxury for me until I met Kim. She had over 30 years experience working with optometrist before she worked in Frisco LensCrafters. She would recommend the frame that best fits your face and power of prescription. Go and look for Kim. She is the best associate I have ever met!
I’ve been here a few times this year and the employees are always very friendly and helpful. I previously bought a pair of glasses in March and the sales lady was very patient and through as I tried as many frames as I wanted to make sure I got the perfect pair. Sometime in November, I sadly lost that pair of glasses and had to get a replacement. I called the store and spoke to Kareem, he was very helpful and was able to make me the same pair of glasses the same day. A week later, I noticed my glasses needed some re-adjusting, I came in and Kim was very professional and got them to a perfect adjustment in no time.I’ll definitely be coming back next year when I get my lenses updated!
Tricia was amazing!! Helped me shop and find what fit me best. Didnt rush me yet it was a quick experience!! Shes the best!!
Ive been buying my glasses at this location for about 5 years. The service has always been adequate and Ive been happy with their selection. This last time I bought glasses (9/2018) I was helped by Mark ONeil, the new manager. WOW! Excellent service! I usually have a lot of trouble picking my new glasses as I am very particular. It can be a long and usually frustrating experience. Mr. ONeil was a true blessing. He helped me to compare each of the pairs, took pictures for comparison and gave his input on each pair. I dont know if thats a new thing or if I just was never offered it before but it was so helpful. When I had all the selections made he went to great lengths to make sure that I got the best price. I ended up buying 3 pairs that day. I usually have trouble finding one pair that I like. Upon return for pick up I required further adjustments. He was there and patiently helped with that as well. I was starting to consider online buying but with service like that why would I!? Great job, Mark ONeil!.
I had a glasses emergency. I need my glasses fixed right away as I can barely get around with out them. It was a Saturday morning and we were going out that night so it had to be done the same day. The first place I went to was no help. Then I went to Lens Crafters in the Stonebriar Mall. I went in and was immediately greeted with happy employees. I told them of my predicament and before I could finish, they took my glasses back to the back and got to work on them. I told them that I didnt buy the glasses from them so I didnt expect them to fix them, but they told me it was no problem. They fixed them in about 5 minutes. The guy came out polishing the lenses, told me it was done, and handed me my glasses. I asked him how much I owed him and he was adamant about not taking payment for the repair. I dont know if its always like this or just the Christmas spirit, but the next time Im looking for glasses, theyve earned my business and I will be back.
Great place ! The customer service was awesome. She helped me to get great discounts. I really loved it.
I have purchased all of my glasses in the past 10 years at this LensCrafters location and I keep on going back. Overall very satisfied with my experience. Mark, Tricia and long timer Sergio who is no longer there have always been friendly, attentive and professional in my dealings with them.
Excellent experience, plenty of choice, not hurried and professional staff
Had a broken frame yet my lenses were fine. Grandma, yep thats what everyone calls her, helped me find a great new frame and mounted my old lenses. The glasses are great and it only took about 30 minutes. Thanks Grandma, you are great! I will be coming back next time I need a new pair of glasses.
I have to admit that this location is #1 in my book. They have always taken care of me. No matter who assist you they are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I went in today for a warranty replacement and it was handled quickly and quite efficiently. The fairview location should go to this location for training. Ill never make that mistake ever again. That location should be shut down its so horrible. Be sure to come to the stonebriar mall location and they will take good care of you.
Trisha was helpful and best person to work with.
My husband had his heart set on a pair of glasses he had seen online. We didnt see them on the shelves. A very nice and courteous worker went out of the way to find what pair he wanted, and what location had them in stock. Very friendly. Wonderful customer service and appreciation.
I ordered sunglasses for me and for my wife at Lenscrafter, Frisco in Dec 2017 and received the glasses in Feb 2018. Till I buy the glasses, the service was nice and the person was helpful.I was told that i would receive the glasses in 7 days. I followed up by calling and visiting the shop in 15 days interval. However, on every followup I was told that the glasses will get ready and will be available in another 7 days.
I am reading a lot of bad reviews here but I had a great experience. Good selection and helpful customer service. I was in and out of the store in under 30 minutes during a very busy weekend shopping period.
If you truly want old school customer service, please see the staff at the Stonebriar location in Frisco.Special thanks to Kim, Tricie and Justin for going so far above and beyond...Customer for lifeKH
I have been a customer at this location since 2010. At that time, I purchased (2) frames and lenses. No problems.I revisited again needing exam and updated lenses in 2015. I was told my reading glasses (Burberry frames) they could not cut the lenses the same way so, I had to buy a new pair of frames. I begrudgingly did so. My glasses were not correct since then and I took the frames back (3) times to get adjusted and the lenses checked. I had to go back to wearing my old glasses, since those do not make my eye hurt. My wife complains about her glasses as well.I feel like spending over $800 was a waste of money!! Im very disadissatis with the overall experience.
I had a good experience ordering my glasses here through my insurance. Their lens machine was down at the time, so no 1hr option but, if I remember correctly, it only took 24hr to get them done. There was absolutely no pressure, and this is the second pair of glasses Ive purchased from Lenscrafters. Theyve both turned out really good, and the $30 insurance for the year has saved me bum once already.
Just Professional Spikes Whats Going On In The World Today..10 Across the Board
Double the price from Americas Best for the same cost frames and lenses.Watch out for slick commission based salespeople. The quoted me $310 with imed insurance and got the same designer frames for $169.If they tell you that glasses are expensive so you have no choice... run for your life. :)My guess is that the salesman increased the price so he can pocket $100 or so. Yes folks, it’s up to them to give u the discounted price.
I was down visiting my daughter ( She lives in the colony) From West Texas to visit her when I tore my left contact. I frantically tried to find someone to help me replace that contact and lenscrafters in the StoneBriar mall Center didnt hesitate!! Their customer service is amazing and I highly recommend this place! THANK YOU!!
Horrible experience. Ordered 2 pairs of lenses one with power and one without power and the sales person got completely confused. Ordered only one with power for the wrong set of glasses. He also used my insurance for that leaving me with no option to pay $183 more out of my pocket to get the correct ones. Been 2 weeks and I still dont have either of the glasses with me.
I came to the store to exchange my husbands Maui Jim sunglasses, since it was broken and he had a one year protection plan. The salesman there told me he will call me within two weeks to come and pick up the new pair. I waited for three weeks then I called the store, they said they couldnt find any glasses under my husbands name but they will look for it and give me a call. I waited for another week and no one called. I called after the fourth week and another salesman told me hell check at the back to see if its ready. He called me within an hour saying the theyre ready and I confirmed picking them up the next day. I came the next day and they kept me waiting for almost twenty minutes to look for the new pair of glasses. Two of the salesmen were searching everywhere. Thats when black comedy takes place. They found the sunglasses in the same spot they searched, over twenty times. I was shocked from the lack of professionalism. They didnt even apologize for the poor management.
Very expensive and lots of hidden charges that weren’t covered by eye insurance.Paid $18 more per box for contacts compared to Sam’s Club.
Not the best customer service. Made me feel like they didnt care about getting my business. Never did get my receipt emailed to me, i suppose the lady checking me out was too busy talking to other employees to get my email address right. they do happen to have a very large selection of frames.
Lenscrafters has gone in the toilet. I was a customer of theirs for over 20 years. I would go to them because they would make my glasses in an hour. Now it takes 3 days. This last time it took 3 pairs of glasses to get my prescription correct. They had the left lens in the right eye and vice-versus on the right lens, then instead of rechecking the prescription, they just made a second pair with the identical incorrect lenses. Stay away from LensCrafters, theyre overpriced and do a horrible job. Buy your frames online and go to Costco.
Ordered glasses and when I came to pick them up...total chaos...not enough people working to help anyone and potential customers just looking around.....bad management and scheduling. Bad customer service...what a disappointment and I paid alot of money....
One sales agent, Chrustine, is very nice and helpful. She is so patient and hels you get the best glasses.
Had a horrible experience here. Ive been coming to LensCrafters since I started wearing glasses at 10 years old and the retail manager Tricia is completely unprofessional. She and the other workers were having multiple side conversations and when attempting to fit the glasses I had picked out, she completely bent the frame. And then proceeded to continue selling me the same bent frame. They have absolutely no idea what theyre doing and are not professional in the least. Needless to say, they lost a long time customer and Im never going back.
My experience was disappointing. My frames had broke, so on Sunday the 6th, I went to the store and asked someone if they could fix it. They said that it would take less than a few days to get the same frames (ordering it) and popping the lenses out of my old glasses. Well, I still havent gotten my frames and its almost Sunday. At home, my mom called to see if the frames came in, in the first call, an employee named Star left my mom waiting for 5 minutes. The second call, the retail manager, Tricia said that shell call right back, but she didnt. If you need a good glasses store to go to, do not go to LensCrafters.
Tricia you better find something else to do with your trashy attitude.I wonder why would they keep someone like you working here with all those negative reviews about you.
Very poor professionalism and attitude. A simple repair led to a big mess - messed up frame and scratched lens... the store did replace the scratched lens but the store manager didnt even feel sorry for what they caused. This type of accident must happen all the time in their store......
Marc is awesome!
Ordered my glasses with manager Tricia after a very long wait. The store was swamped, and she was distracted with interruptions from new employees, and had me verify the prescription on the screen with her. I was ordering a complex prescription with progressive bifocals. When the glasses arrived the had no progressive lenses, and seems I wasnt charged for them, so it was an additional 107.00 bucks. I cancelled the order. Theyll just mess it up again.
By far the worst of the LensCrafters in the DFW area is the Stonebriar store. When I go in the store theyre too busy and make you feel rushed or that youre an inconvenience to them. I called to replace some lenses with a warranty today she didnt bother to look up my information and said I needed to come in to the store I couldnt pay the copay over the phone. Hung up and called the Willowbend store they helped me without hesitation, paid over the phone, and had my lenses ready in an hour, now THAT is good customer service.
I purchased new glasses last month from LensCrafters and I LOVE them! However, I recently lost my mom and had the very unpleasant task of packing her things and getting her home ready to be sold. As you can imagine this was an emotional time as well as chaotic. Unfortunately my glasses were either given to Goodwill or thrown away by mistake and nowhere to be found. After returning from my trip I called and spoke with the manager Tricia Ondich and explained my dilemma. Tricia asked me to come see her and she would do everything possible to help with my replacement. She went above and beyond to help me with the cost as well as explaining different payment options. Im also pleased to say my replacement glasses were ready within an hour! Thank you Tricia for being a wonderful example of how to conduct business while being thoughtful and kind!
I broke my frame so I went to the mall and walked into the first store my lens were expensive so I did not want to get rid of them and get new ones I asked him to help me either fix the frame or get a new frame and they literally brushed me off we walked upstairs and walked into LensCrafters the gentleman there immediately tried every possible matching frame Until he found the right one they put the old lenses in the new frame and we were out of there in 10 minutes LensCrafters gave us an outstanding service I feel bad that I did not ask for his name so I can put it in the post but OK I found his name on the receipt his name was William very nice gentleman thank you very much William I’m really grateful and for sure lensCrafters will always have my business now.
Didnt get my glasses here, but they repaired them for free after I accidentally stepped on them and broke the plastic retention wire holding one of the lenses in place. In and out in less than 10 minutes on a Sunday.
Bad customer service. They dont take care of the customer
Excellent service
Michael helped me in the store. He was very nice and helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. He is a very kind person. Definitely will be back to this location thanks to Michael.
