Enthusiastic staff! Rooms are amazing, staff is quick to help with clues when asked, and the environment is clean! Loved it so much we completed two rooms the two days we stayed in Frisco.

The perfect way to spend your Saturday night! We had a blast trying to figure out all of the clues! We appreciated the help from the staff when we needed it and enjoyed the creativity and thoughtfulness that was apparent went into creating the rooms! We cant wait to go back again to try another room!

Such a cute location, gorgeous waiting room, friendly staff. We went for my husbands birthday and did the hardest room tension. Man was it hard but so creative and Emma gave just enough clues without fully giving it away. All around a great experience.

Celebrated a friends birthday here last weekend. Most of the group hadnt done an escape room before and this far exceeded our expectations. We had one member of our group have to cancel and they were quick to respond and refund for one person. Such a fun group activity. Room was challenging and staff was great - highly recommend if youre looking for a different way to celebrate a birthday!

If you are an escape room person, this place is very nice. The staff is extremely friendly and are very responsive and helpful when asking for clues. Im NOT an escape room person, but go with friends when they ask. I was a bit surprised by the price - $120/session. We had 4 in our group, so about $30 each...but it just felt pricy. If we had 6 in our group, though, I probably wouldnt have felt this way.Kudos to the nice staff, the semi-understandable clues, and the fun environment.

I took my daughter and her friends here for her 13th birthday, and they had a blast! They said the puzzles were challenging and they needed some hints, but they solved most of them and I could hear them laughing and cheering the whole time. I stayed in the waiting room, and it was clean and comfortable. They all want to go back to try another game. Highly recommend!

We had the best time at Countdown 2 Escape! The Lost Mine was fun and challenging, and we escaped just in time. Cooper as our game host made it even better. Great family activity, and we cant wait to try another room.

My family went to Countdown 2 Escape for Mother’s Day and we had a great time! We did the Tension room and found it to be challenging. The teenagers really got into the game and led the way for our family. It was definitely a good experience for the whole family! The host was very helpful and flexible with us. I highly recommend this escape room for anyone looking for a fun activity for the family or friends or co-workers!

My girls have been several times with their friends. Some of the ones theyve done are Raven Woods, The Lost Jewel of Zanzibar, The Lost Mine and just recently Tension. Tension and The Lost Mine were their favorites. Theyve only gotten out in time once, but they are getting better each time and always have blast doing it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I have been to 18 escape rooms and have to say that the experience here left me wanting for more. I dont know if we came at a time that they were busy but the onboarding was slower, employees were less than enthused, and we had no context of our game/backstory. Basically you are in a room now get out. I think there was a premium to pay for such an experience, and would suggest if this is your first time you may look elsewhere.

My friends and I came to Countdown 2 Escape for a fun time celebrating a birthday. I love escape rooms and I go to several, but this was my friends first time... and we all LOVED it!!! They had the best first time and I really enjoyed the room we were in (The Lost Mine). Their customer service was so great. Our host Jakob was very kind! We will be back!

We had a great time at countdown 2 escape. The employee was super welcoming and made the whole process pleasant. The room was challenging and the lobby is lovely.

We reserved the The Lost Mine and had a blast. This was the first escape room experience for my husband and daughter and the second for me. We worked as a team - with a few helpful clues from our attendant - but didnt complete the puzzle. It didnt matter because we enjoyed the problem solving time together!

We went to Countdown 2 Escape on a whim one Sunday afternoon and had an amazing time. My wife, son (12) and I had never done an escape room, but our daughter (22) convinced us to give it a try and it was a blast. Everyone was completely immersed in the experience and overly-excited when we completed the room. We were still laughing and talking about it later that night. Were planning on going back to do another room with more family members in a few weeks.And a special thanks to Erin! She was an awesome guide from start to finish, and made sure that our clues were just enough to nudge the kids in the right direction without giving too much away.

(4 Adults, 2 kids) - Alex was awesome, super friendly and helpful! Area 52 definitely didn’t feel like an “easy” room, but the kids were entertained still. It was challenging but fun!

We came to countdown 2 escape for part of our office company party. We are a very competitive office and love fun, new, exciting things. This seemed to be exactly what were looking for. It did not disappoint. We tried the new location with the holiday themed room. The room itself was pretty impressive, it looked like someone’s actual living room. There was only person in our group who had ever done an escape room so we we depending on him to be our leader lol. We were given the option to have unlimited clues or we could choose to limit ourselves and make the game more challenging. We obviously chose to limit the amount to make the game more exciting. If there was ever a time that we ever truly got stuck or felt that something was not working correctly the “game master” would come in and assist us so that we would be able to get back on track. I went in thinking is was going to be a pretty boring experience, but we left there laughing and smiling about what a great time we all had! The staff there was so friendly and helpful. I will have to find a time to bring back more friends to try another escape there. Go there and you will not be disappointed 😁.

Visited Friday with my 7 year old daughter and we had the BEST time! It was our very first escape room. Our host was perfect–just the right amount of helpful, friendly, and knew what we needed before we even knew it ourselves. So much fun and we will absolutely be back soon. Family wanted to have some fun family time before the kids head back to college. We searched for the Lost Jewel of Zanzibar! Genna, our game host was helpful and excited for us. We managed to solve all the puzzles in just 40 minutes! The room looked fairly basic but had some awesome surprises. I’m looking forward to another visit with family or friends soon! We plan to level up next time!

I bought tickets for my wife, daughter, and 2 of her friends for a birthday gift. They had a great time and said it was one of the best escape rooms they have been to. Will definitely be going back.

Had a great time as a family. Went in a group of five of us, three of which were kids ages 11, 9, & 8. We were all participating and enjoying ourselves, plus we escaped!

So much fun! My siblings and I consider ourselves escape room veterans and like to do them fairly regularly. This was one of the best weve ever done. The room was really well dressed, the puzzles were challenging without being impossible, and the staff, especially our game master, Stromboli were amazing. Weve never had so much fun failing to escape! We cant wait until they switch up their rooms so we can go again!

Such a great escape room! We have done many in different locations, but we always return here for a guaranteed great experience! The linear rooms with the “one and done” clues really are fun! The rooms and the themes are great! A great experience for first timers or escape room junkies! We even took pics with sanitized props at the end! Harrison was a fantastic game host!!! Super fun family experience! Our game master Kiley was friendly, helpful, and really encouraging. We had a great time solving the series.of clues and puzzles, and escaped with a respectable amount of time to spare! We will definitely go back again to attempt the other rooms.

We were looking for something different to do and CD2E was definitely it! We had two children who really enjoyed it also. With the help of the friendly staff (when needed), we completed our escape and found the jewel!

We had a great time at Countdown 2 Escape!! We did the Lost Jewel of Zanzinbar. The decor of the room was awesome and the wide range of puzzles needing to be solved was very good. Natasha was a great hostess! Very friendly and polite. She made us feel really welcome! We would love to do another!

We loved our experience at Countdown 2 Escape. Booking was easy to do online. The venue is a great spot on Main Street in Frisco and has a very welcoming vibe to it, not to mention very clean and well organized. Jaz was a great Game Master!! Highly recommend this location all-around and will be returning to give the other rooms a go!

Played here the other night with a friend of mine who came from out of town and had never played an escape room before! We did the Ravenswood room and had SO MUCH FUN! Not only am I an enthusiast, but I work for a different escape room; and I was so impressed with every aspect of my visit. From the beautiful and comfortable decor, the immersive detail of the room, even our kind game master (thanks Jaz!). Every part of this experience was well worth it and I cant wait to return soon!

I went to the Christmas themed escape room. It was phenomenal. The room itself was tiny but the clues were very difficult to find in a small room like that. For my first ever escape room it was great. Our game host Jaz/Jazz, was a nice guy and thought he was pretty cool overall.

This is a joke, right? My kids and I did the Lost Jewel of Zanzibar room and we were far from impressed. Overall this isnt something I would consider a fun experience. It wasnt very creative and I would imagine this is some sort of buy off the internet kind of deal for the owners to make a quick buck. I have lived in Frisco for years and there are definitely other places to spend the money at to have a good time with the kids.

We took our son for his 9th birthday this past weekend and had such a great time! We are a family of 4 and it was so interesting to see how our personalities and strengths fit into the game! Was not impressed. I am familiar with the escape room model and the new room they promoted was really lacking in a lot of areas when I came in to do it with my family. Would not recommend.

Enjoyed Blackbeard’s room. Got through with 23 min remaining but had an issue with the final puzzle not working and it taking some time off the clock. We knew how it worked but couldn’t get it work properly.It was nice to get out during the quarantine and have some fun with our family.

We booked Tension for my sons 15th birthday party. He and his friends did few escape rooms before and according to them this was one of the best. Great experience from start to finish and great communication from the owner (Shannon). Definitely recommend!

My family had so much fun here! It was a good way to get active but not suffer in the Texas heat! It was challenging, but not too hard (we had 3 people in their late 20s and my mom who was older if that helps put things into perspective). The people who worked there were so nice and the facility was clean and cute!!

Best escape room experience I have had. Shannon and Fred are incredible. We did the lost jewel of Zanzibar the room was really well done, extremely clean, and just the right amount of challenge. Couldnt have had a better night. If questionn or looking for fun in Frisco this is your spot! I am already planning my return.

For my birthday this year we did the Jewel of Zanzibar and it was so much fun! The team was great at providing clues if we needed them and it was definitely a challenge! We solved with 17 seconds left on the clock!! I will definitely be going back! I also loved that you could bring in your own drinks!

We got to experience Lost Jewel of Zanzibar escape room and it was a really fun experience with variety of puzzles. We went there as a family of 5 and had a blast. You can get really immersed in the scenarios. Special shout out to our game host Jaz ... he was helpful and was there when we needed a slight nudge. Will return and hopefully Jaz will be our host again.

This was a much needed outing for our 13 year olds birthday. It was just our family and we took two friends. Everything was so clean and well run. The helper helped just enough for the kids to be successful, but feel challenged. It was a blast! We will definitely be back.

I am a regular over at summer moon and I thought I would go over here to check it out and see what this is all about. I was immediately greeted by an old woman named Sharron (I think). I asked about the business and what an escape room is but I got more than I asked for. In the very short time frame I was there, I felt like I was being pressured into doing a room. I was very uncomfortable. I didnt stay long but I was very set back by this place. I know I see some other positive reviews but I honestly just cant see it. Honestly, Sharron seemed really fake and I will definitely not being going back, especially with my kids. I enjoy Frisco and the rail district, but this place doesnt seem to fit in. I can not recommend.

We went to CD2E with our kids and one of their cousin visiting us. It was my first experience and iI was GREAT fun at Lost Jewel of Zanzinbar!! The decor of the room was awesome and many puzzles to solve and kept us busy with total excitement throughout. Jazwin was a great host, friendly and welcomed us with great enthusiasm and explained very well! Would love to go back again.

We were so excited and counting down the day’s when they would be able to open again!We had 7 14 year old boys for a birthday party, and the entire staff was amazing!They were not worried about the time limit for money purposes but instead for the experience for their guests.Thank you so much Harrison for being an excellent game master for them! To have to be trapped on your birthday through this covid stuff has been hard to understand to kids, and you guys made them all laugh and smile and we are grateful for that!

We went to the Countdown 2 Escape as FIRST-timers to the Escape Room world! Had a blast, and it was certainly challenging. Upon check in, we were greeted by Lucas- who did a great job of setting expectations, and coaching us when needed. We were only a family of 4, but we managed to solve most of the clues on our own. Blackbeards Brig was our game, and required many layers of skills to navigate. Would definitely recommend!

My (almost 13) year told daughter wanted to do an escape room for her birthday. We invited a friend and the two moms helped. The lost jewel of Zanzabar was so fun! It was definitely challenging but also doable! The girls had a blast! The fun little touches (like smarties candy since we won) and the board games to play in the lobby while waiting since we arrived about 20 minutes before our scheduled escape room made it a blast! We will definitely be back!

Kiley at your front desk was amazing! very friendly, kind and patient, she walked us through the entire process. The room itself was very clean and well maintained. Plus her clues and tips were helpful. We made it with 7 minutes to spare. the overall ambience of your store is amazing! Keep the fairy lights! they look lovely and add to the charm of your business! So kind and helpful. The free coffee, water and candy is a sweet touch. we will definitely be back!

A group went for my birthday and we had a great time! The Who Stole Christmas room was challenging! It truly took the team to figure it all out. The folks were friendly and answered all our questions and gave helpful clues. One suggestion: make sure Everything (checklist) has been reset to start fresh.:)

Yall, save your time and go somewhere else. Sent my team here for a corporate team building event and it left much to be desired. Everything from the planning process was difficult, parking was a nightmare, and my employees came back saying it was their least favorite escape room weve been to yet. I cant recommend to anyone else.
