I LOVE this place. It reminds me of the coffee shop version of Cheers, Where everybody knows your name! A wonderful community environment where we all go to share art, music, poetry and of course coffee. The outdoor patio is my fave place to sit. Try the Pancake Latte or secret menu Banana Bread Latte!
Absolutely fabulous place for a damn good coffee. Extremely friendly staff. Super chill atmosphere. Definitely my new spot to come hang and work or kick back and relax. 100% recommended 👌🏻👏🏻I gotta drop in for the live poetry and live local music at some point.
Great place, very chill, great staff. Read in the epoch times paper that this place was attacked by a dishonest non-customer whom made wild accusations that were totally false. I had to do by for a coffee to show support. Great crew. Great coffee. Stop by relax and enjoy whatever little show is taking place.
My first time here and i couldnt be happier and huevos con chorizo was great thank you guys, def coming back
Then people working here are so kind and hospitable. Everything else is a bigger plus.

I love every visit I stop by. Staff is very friendly, atmosphere is nice, and most nights they have Live Music at 8pm, though Ive never stayed that late. Love this place with all my heart, best Cafe in Downtown Fullerton, hands down.
Was my familys first time there and we loved it. Great coffee and pastries with very friendly staff! They had music night, featuring a live jazz band. It was definately the perfect finish to the day. Highly recommoned!
It is the best. All people of all backgrounds are welcomesAnd made to feel as valued and appreciatedQuests and the coffee is scrumptiousGood luck and God BlessI remain coming back. Bill Selesky.
Horrible sound guy that you sign up with ignores when you start and plays first and then lets his favorite untalented acts go right after him. What a joke were performing at the legendary Rainbow were a the legends have performed. Thats were we belong. Ha haWere all on a perpetual TRIPWEST !!!!!
Good drinks, but it took a bit too long for me to get some coffee. I was with some friends at night and it took them 40 minutes to finish my order.
Love the place and the arts on the wall. Joe, the owner is very sweet and supportive of artists
This place is amazing! good vibes, ambiance, and baristas!
I love the atmosphere in this place. The coffee and tea are good, customer service excellent, and music is relaxing and fun. I highly recommend this place to hang out or study or to bring a date or just to hang out with the fam like I did.
Outdoor patio is open and the atmosphere is just right for afternoon coffee with friends. The cold brew was perfect: zing without the sting. Plenty of street parking and public lots close by, and right in the heart of Downtown Fullerton where there are restaurants and shops aplenty.
The #NightOwlCafe is limiting in a 2.5 hour OPEN MIC night. Wow..... 😴 slow & very limiting. Was put on list @ 6:45 pm - 7:00 pm, & by 8:00 pm, 1 hour about absolutely NO one called us up. Sad. By 9:00 I learned that the Host had my name, but denied me anyhow cause I was put on the last of the list. Odd. Guest its a business heavily concentrated on usual, and cronies here, so they get priority over newbs like me. Live an 🎓learn👀💀👀
Best coffee house I could find in Fullerton.
Night Owl is a great stop off for coffee. I tried the Elvis Latte since it intrigued me and I was surprised just how good it was. The flavor of banana and peanut butter was present, but didnt overpower the wonderful latte.
For Getty aaaaa bout izzzzzzz
Great vibes! And friendly
Delicious Irish cream latte on the back patio under the trees. Really nice gal barista took great care of me and my dad.
Great coffee, excellent patio for a study session, and friendly and courteous staff/owners. Hoohoo
Although this place is very cute it really just ain’t it.,.... the espresso is pretty mid and seems to always taste burnt asl. I appreciate the baristas for being nice, but if you’re gonna recommend me a chocolate chip muffin, just be real wit me and tell me it’s a cupcake without frosting sheeesh :///
They have nice, dark espresso and lots of high quality pastry options. The atmosphere is very sweet.Only downside is that its very pricey, and theres not too many strict coffee options (only two roasts). Its mostly customization-based, rather than focusing on the types of coffee.Other than that, its a lovely place to study or hang out downtown!
I’m only giving a one star because the hours are not correct. Google said open and when I drove by they were closed. However, if you do get a chance to come here when it is open, it’s a cool spot. Drinks and desserts are good. The patio outside let’s you converse with another. It’s a great place for a date night or when chilling with friends. There are board games, sometimes - live band. Bathrooms are maintained so so. I would give it a 4 star review when they open. My only gripe is that it’s a small place if you want to sit inside.
Love the place and the people!
I got a black coffee, it was very good.
We love their coffee, I definitely recommend this place, the guys are nice and friendly, they make you feel welcome. They also have a little patio which is cute. :)
They serve beer now. Probably shouldnt mix with coffee but you can choose what you want to drink based on the day you had and never be disappointed. Oh, I think they serve wine too.
I want to visit this place, however it seems to be closed. I went on 1/13/21 at approximately 5:30pm and it was closed and did not have any hours listed anywhere on their store front. The patio furniture is all stacked up and pushed to the side. I went again this morning 1/14/21 at 9:06am, and they were closed. Their website says they open at 6am and that they are currently open, but that is not true. Not sure if theyre temporarily closed because of COVID or what, but maybe try calling before you go if you want to come here.
Great coffee shop with a delicious variety of drinks. The windmill latte was super delicious and gone immediately as I got it.
The iced coffee and lemon bar was amazing I love it here.it is so homey and pretty. My older sister showed me this place a while back.
The lil bard freah-eeks out on the stree-he-eets, handing tickets to all his freh-ends. Lookin baa-hack, she just lau-haughs. Small town livin is not so bad. ❤️🐇 Some real talent here and good lattes too.
Great little coffee spot with good coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, and the like. They have DELICIOUS pastries including the most amazing one...a giant ding dong. Its even wrapped in foil like the original. Its got dark chocolate covering a soft moist cake with cream inside. So delicious! They also feature local artists with cool paintings and drawings. They also have live music on Friday and Saturday nights in the back. Great little place
Great spot to grab coffee and chill. 5 stars if they add more vegan pastries, etc.
Excellent customer service
Great place to study with a cup of coffee
Great atmosphere with a cozy warm look. The coffee was pretty good and the service was awesome. But..... yes a but, the orders took over 20mins long to get. That is the only reason for a 4 star....
Patio opened while dine-in prohibited. Quality of coffee I ordered was great and safety measures were kept in place everywhere.
Wonderful staff and a fantastic place to get some coffee and hang, work or lounge.
We came because the reviews were pretty decent. But, I wasnt too impressed. I ordered a pastry that was just alright and our lattes were WAY too strong. The atmosphere is endearing and great to sit and chat with friends. There limited seating though, so Im not sure how that works when theres live music.
Love their summer open mic night. staff is unbelievably wholesome and kind. great neighborhood vibe.
The Night Owl is a cool looking spot. It makes you feel at home. But the prices dont, 1 Americano (large) and 1 French iced Latte for $14 bucks. They were both good, like any other coffee shop. Service was good and friendly. Cool ambiance but not good prices.
Tried this place seemed great for a to go drink. Having a cup of coffee to chat seemed difficult if that is your intention. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since the location is small, some guests upon my visit were very rowdy. Beautiful decorations.
Convenient outdoor seating in the patio area! Good lemon cake and tasty mango smoothie!
Tasty coffee and very cool atmosphere! The menu is quite unique and the service is outstanding! A must if you crave an artistic atmosphere to work and enjoy some caffeine!
This place is great for a late night treat or coffee after an eventful evening in Downtown Fullerton. Their drinks and pastries are deliciously sweet, but not too sweet. The cashiers are extremely friendly and helpful. They make the whole place feel warm and inviting. It has a very hipster vibe though with mismatching chairs and everybody on their laptops probably writing their screenplays.
Cool place. The open mic is popular but needs some work. The venue is amazing, the people are amazing but the way they do the list is ridiculous. I’m all for giving newcomers a shot but you have to limit it or what’s the point of ever returning? If you’re not new you basically have to be there around 5 PM to secure a decent spot on the list. Why bother? You can go to at least 5 other Tuesday mics in a 30 mile radius and, while you might sacrifice a little in quality, at least you’ll get to play (and often more than 1 song). I would limit the shenanigans to the first 10 newcomers based on who got there first. Everything else should be first-come, first-serve. An open mic where you get 1 song should not be a 5-6 hour venture—though people seem to be willing (for whatever reason). Someone should crunch the numbers; they could probably adjust frequency and/or add a cover/minimum purchase and still turn a profit after all the PROs fees. If is your first time, I highly recommend it as the venue is wonderful and professional and the audio setup is great. Really the only issue here is that the mic is so desirable that you can hardly get in on it because newcomers flood the scene; it just makes me wonder how or why anyone is dedicated enough to be a “regular”. As for the eatery itself, the desserts were very good and the people were extremely friendly.
Midday visit while shopping downtown Fullerton. Good coffee, danish too. We sat on the patio watched people passing bye. Good end to our day.
It was really nice place and cozy atmosphere in here. That was great treat fries and burger with so good burger. Wonderful time experience.
Tasty foods and very friendly staffs!
Ive never felt the need to leave a review anywhere before but I even left a review on Yelp and felt that I should leave one on Google with how impressed I was with this place. It was my first time here and I was immediately greeted by the bariste, Mo, short for Maureen maybe? I was having a bad day and she really made it better. She was super sweet and really helpful, she suggested the white velvet and although pretty sweet, it was delicious. The drink I had was phenomenal (a little overpriced maybe) but Ill definitely be going back in the near future especially if Mo is there.
I really liked this place. We wanted to go someplace to do some work and this definitely fit the bill. Im not a coffee drinker, so I really appreciated the different tea lattes they had. A bit too sweet, I could probably halve the sugar amount, but very tasty.
We tried their chocolate cake slice and it tasted like heaven... very nice cozy place with a backyard. Hot chocolate was so so but again it’s hard to find a good one in OC
First time coming! Delicious drink! I asked which specialty drinks were vegan and she said that any of them can be vegan by switching out the cow’s milk to the variety of non-dairy milk they carry. So, I got the Elvis with almond milk iced :DMy mom got the specialty Nutella iced coffee. She loved it.Great customer service with some chill vibes. :) very satisfied.
A fantastic coffee shop in a convenient location. In downtown, close to the train station, the farmers market, Fullerton college, and more. Great staff, fun regulars, and outdoor live music most days of the week. Sells a wide range of drinks and pastries.
Edit: Im all for supporting local shops but this place has gone downhill, theres better shops in townThis coffee shop is probably my favorite in the area. When I went Omar and Madison were very friendly and attentive. The shop is great but the staff really makes it! Im not close but Ill be coming again!
I dont remember the lattes exact name. But maple pancake or something is pretty much exactly what it tasted like. Friendly barista despite being alone and kinda busy. Cool vibe as well. Little hard to find a place to sit though when they have customers. I will definitely be back to try the other drinks. The ice alone was a plus, the cool kinda ice.
This place is amazing. The vibes are great, and every barista Ive had the pleasure of chatting with is amazing. This place is so comfortable to sit and relax in
Great spot to enjoy some coffee and get some work done. Quiet and cozy. Very familiar feel.
Try the Dirty Hippie if they have hemp milk
Very chill spot. Very common to have open mic nights for good live music. Inside is cozy with an eclectic layout. Very nice staff and many varieties in regards to allergies for diffrent milks for you coffee or hot chocolate.
Love to sit for a coffee and chat with a friend, or do some work. Coffee’s pretty good, atmosphere is nice, and it’s open late with live music some nights :)
This place has a great Tuesday night music night. Good for dates and relaxation. Friendly customer service, awesome owner, and good drinks.
Love how they have a patio where you can walk by and hear bands playing and sit down and listen for a while for free. You also can go inside to get a coffee or beverage or dessert to enjoy while relaxing..
Fantastic independent coffee shop wide variety of good quality drinks available with friendly staff. Very comfortable friendly atmosphere great variety of eclectic entertainment. A great day to go is the first Friday of the month when they have an artists event in the evening the owner is very easygoing & would be more than happy to encourage new artists to participate.
Great people who take pride in their craft.Went back several times and have not been disappointed.Great music nights, met some very interesting musicians.Owner introduced us to a great cheesecake. Please bring back movie nights
A nice small quaint Fullerton coffee house with a lovely patio in the back. Modern hip tattoo people and others a like. Don Clark gives the night owl to thumbs up
If your looking for a place to hang out and do homework, this is a good place. It a good place for students
Great place to study. I came here after class around 1pm and it was super peaceful. Around 3-4pm it gets a little busier but the barista is super sweet and the coffee was great
Super chill little get away shop. Coffee drinks and a few little bites. Live music. Artsy vibe with seating inside and out. Super nice staff
Very cute little coffee shop. The employees were able to give me some very tasty recommendations. I definitely want to visit this place again
Very friendly staff, very good drinks, very chill place and good for hanging out 10/10 would recommend as good as Starbucks
Coffee is delish and decor is on point, but seating is sparse and weirdly situated. Better for grab n go or solo work than for group hangouts. Staff was really helpful and nice!
Hannah and Taylor gave us such good service tonight! Seriously loved the conversation and welcoming atmosphere they both provided.
Highly recommend. It serves tea. Without leaving the tea bag inside the cup. Its rare.
Cool little spot for coffee and live music. The baristas were friendly and made a decent cappuccino.
Awesome place, workers are nice, relaxed, & very full of energy (maybe the tea, or coffee has something to do with it; haha). Been here for hours working on my resume and the vibe is the perfect place for work/studies. I will come back and recommend to others.
Forget the coffee!I came hopping for a good espresso and of curse being the coffee snob that I am, I was disappointed. The only have dark roast and Very dark roast.... Bitter smoky and not very pleasant to drink. The service in the other hand is really outstanding, friendly, fast and super efficient even though she had a full house and a full outside seating area. The the thing of this place that deserves a 5 STAR rating for me, is the gourmet chocolate DING DONG!! My god! This was really amazing, moist fluffy not over sweet and chocolaty delicious! Its between a brownie and a fudge, sheer perfection! I can go on and on about this delicious treat that surpass the sub-par espresso.I will come again, for a Ding Dong and have the coffee from somewhere else :)
Solid place. A bit expensive but the atmosphere and service more than make up for it. Great late night spot and decent parking if you have a little patience.Good experiences here.
Great coffee! Cant wait to come back! Also, the barista was super friendly!
Free live music on weekends! The outdoor patio is the back is perfect for a sunny day or for a chill night with friends while listening to live music. Its pretty hipster. The coffee is good but a little on the pricey side. Parking is easy with the free lot in the back and street parking.Theres also free wifi!
Good. Smells a bit.. may be it is just way it is. Or may be bread. I like to have stronger coffee smell in a cafe. Personal preference.
Come in for the great tasting coffee and stay for the charming ambience and even live music.
