My car was hit while parked, so my insurance company recommended Kenwood. I looked them up and saw pictures that convinced me to entrust them with the repairs, so I dropped my car off. A week later I went to pick it up and initially thought that everything looked in order; however, something kept telling me to look closer and upon doing so, I realized how sloppy the work was. For starters, the bumper and front quarter panel arent in-line. It looks as if it was glued back on, rather that popped back in place. Glue, coming from the headlight being replaced, dripped on the bumper and was never wiped off. While other reviews raved about their vehicles looking brand new, mine looks like it has obviously sustained some type of damage and was repaired in somebodys back alley. The staff was very friendly, but I am extremely disappointed with the shotty work and will not recommend them to anyone, especially for something as simple as the work that I needed. I have taken the liberty of including pictures of the before and after. To the naked eye, everything looks great, but when you look closer at it, you can see how flawed the repairs were.

These guys are awesome. They have fixed 3 of our cars (only one was our fault haha) now and each time the body work and paint work are perfect, you cant tell that it didnt come right from the factory. They are great about letting you know what to expect and updating you with status, which I really appreciate.I just hope I dont need to visit them again too soon! :-)

After being hit by a tractor trailer and damaging the front left drivers side, I made an appointment a week in advance to have it repaired in the Gaithersburg, MD shop. I called back to see if I could bring it a day early before my appointment, and the shop manager said he cant fit it in his paint booth, which has caused all kinds of problems for me now. Wow, would have been nice if he told me that a week before!

Dave was great and very professional. While my car ended up being totaled, I felt like I received great customer service. If I ever need auto body services, they will be my first stop.

I was referred to this body shop by numerous law enforcement officers in family and others My sister has a brand new Infinity the big one and got an accident they took care of them theres a fellow named Matt there that is very conscientious kind courteous and nice thing about this body shop most insurance companies top insurance companies trust this body shop to do the right thing and charge the right price so they give them their business and you just dont get that just being a regular body shop you could have to be in business for years and prove yourself before insurance companies trust you without sending out an adjuster they send in pictures of the accident etc this is my second time there my sisters second time there and numerous friends there I have nothing but high praise for the staff Matt especially did I mention he is super thorough he gets you the rent-a-car he takes care of the insurance he takes care of your car your car is super clean when you get it what else can you ask for complete service from a to b Love it would refer somebody there would come there again and each time Ive been there I dealt with Matt but the other staff is just as kind as well

Estimating process was easy, the work was good and everyone we dealt with was very professional. The only ding I would give is on communication. They told us our car would be ready in 5 days when we brought it in on Monday, however when we went to pick it up Friday afternoon, they told us it would be ready on Monday, then on Monday, they told us it would be ready on Tuesday. Other than that, our experience was positive.

Great work repainting my rear bumper after a rear end collision. This shop was Tesla recommended and lived up to the standard you would expect as such.

I was skeptical about taking my car to any auto body shop because my request was for them to find my wedding band. It fell behind the middle console of my Model S. A guy came out and took a look and said I’ll have to drive it into the shop. He said since you’ve been driving I can’t guarantee we’ll find anything. They could have just told me they didn’t find anything, but Thank God there are still mechanics and auto body shops that can be trusted. They found my ring and handed it to me. I’m not sure what they had to take apart but they’ve started off 2020 reminding me there are still good people in this world. I’d definitely recommend Kenwood Auto Body in Gaithersburg and will use them again in the future for any auto body needs.

They promised me that my truck would be ready by this past Wednesday. Then on Wednesday Sam called me to apologize and explain that there was a unexplained delay with the body man and it would not be ready till today, Friday. I get there at the end of their day, 5 only to find out that its still not ready. When I ask for a new ETA the best the woman could provide me was another week. No phone call before hand like they had done all through the process during the last month. Im bitterly disappointed and cant believe that they let me down like this. Never again.

Horrible repair job. Couldnt complete basic part replacement and broke multiple things in vehicle not related to job at hand. Employees were beyond unprofessional about it. Shop manager lied to us about their ability to fix it trying to get money out of us when they were dealing with insurance already. Horrible experience, horrible service, you couldnt pay me to deal with these clowns again. They will screw you, find a better shop. Its a shame 1 star is the lowest option here. These guys dont even deserve that.

Took my Mitsubishi Evolution 9 there after getting rear ended and they fixed her up perfectly. I had them do a bit of additional work at the same time which complicated things, but Kenwood was extremely accommodating and focused on the customer instead of just finishing the job!

I had the displeasure of having to get my car repaired at Kenwood Autobody from June 14th-June 21st. The only pleasant part of the experience was their courteous receptionist. Other than that, the experience was a nuisance and honestly, if your insurance recommends this place as mine did, just go somewhere else. Imagine having to go through your first ever accident, your back hurts, your deemed at fault and then you can’t work for a few weeks which means you don’t get paid. That was my situation and Kenwood had no regard for it at all. I was told there was a puncture in my radiator and considering I work half a hour away (a hour total of commute) I had no choice but to leave my car in the hands of Kenwood because driving my car would’ve been dangerous. I was put into a rental swiftly due to my insurance and that part of the transaction was great. The issue came when I emailed the manager of Kenwood to see about ways I could get my deductible taken care of. Because I hadn’t worked in a few weeks, I needed to see if there was a way I could pay in installments to take care of the debt, why this man going to ask “what about credit card?” EXCUSE ME? If I am coming to you because I do not have the funds, why would that be a question you would even think to ask!? He has NO tact and no empathy clearly. You would think my insurance was not going to pay for over 2k worth of repairs!!! I let him know that if I had a credit card, I would not be asking him such a question. He goes on to say HIS boss won’t allow for the release of MY vehicle without payment of the deductible which I get but the fact that there was no willingness to work with me because of my situation is exactly why if anything were to happen to this vehicle or another in the future, I will find somewhere else to go. When I left my car with Kenwood, I had 21 miles left on my gas tank. I get my car back, my tank is COMPLETELY on E. What if I didn’t live down the street? What if I still didn’t have money? These people don’t care about you, just your money. I don’t recommend. Not too mention, the entire way home my car was making this abnormal sound it wasn’t making before in despite of it being damaged. They also took off my steering wheel cover, and left it balled up on my passengers seat. Is it really THAT hard to put things back how it was? 0/10 or maybe 1/10 because like I said the receptionist was the most pleasant part of the whole experience. I’m disappointed and I feel the money I worked hard for despite being in pain (I have a labor intensive job) was NOT well spent.

While on a cross-country drive to Montgomery County, I hit a fox. I wasnt sure where to go to get my bumper fixed so I asked for recommendations via Facebook. Three out of four people all recommended Shannon Auto Body and I wasnt disappointed. Their customer service was great, they kept me informed, and were a pleasure to work with. My bumper is perfectly fixed and Im giving them an excellent rating.

Shannon Auto Body was recommended by a trusted shop, AndrewTech, and I was extremely pleased with the service. My car was mushed in a fender bender and I went through many hoops with the other ladys insurance company, who low-balled our estimates, before we got the green light to fix things. The repair required a supplement (usually happens when dealing with hidden damage), and Mike took it all in stride, dealing with the insurance company every step of the way, with no complaints. He kept me up to date by email with photos and status reports. And my car looks great!

Kenwood did an excellent job repainting a part for one our clients. The paint work was excellent, timing was as promised and was a good value.

This shop was recommended to me by a co-worker and then I found out was affiliated with my insurance company (State Farm) as well. Even though I live in Glen Burnie MD, I work mostly in Montgomery County, so I decided to go with them. Their staff is very efficient and handled things quickly and painlessly. I got pictures every workday showing where my car was and what phase of repair it was in. My car was beautiful when I got it back. Not only, was it in the same shape it was in brand new, the detailing was actually nicer looking than when I bought it. It looked newer than new so to speak. Seriously, the inside and outside was spotless. I can see why my coworker raved about them.

So many things coupd have been prevented if they looked at my car before I picked up the car.I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager today and no one called me back. I now would like to speak with the owner of your establishment.So the windshield was not installed properly because I clearly hear the wind blowing loud as there is air coming in from the upper right corner, which I noticedafter 2 minutes of driving today. The rear view mirror mold was dangling from my car when I picked it up. The. There was the very noticeable line on the hood of my car when I picked it up, but you all did remove that today with a company after I asked you to do so.While I was driving in to work after picking up my car I noticed my side view mirror does not move when set to the programmable positions when driving. This needs to be fixed as well.Also, condensation builds up on my windshield when the air condition is turned on. I assume this is from the windshield not being installed properly.Additionally, you were supposed to call me back to let me know when the last for the rear view mirror would be in so I can drive my car all the way back to Gaithersburg again to get repaired. You did not call back. I need someone to give me a call back tomorrow/Wednesday to figure out a resolution and address the lack of service that was provided in my car repairs.

Was told they dont want to take time to find parts for my 16 year old vehicle. Paying cash, was told all insurance jobs take precedence over self-paying customers

Had my car towed to a location of theirs. Then had to have it re-towed to another location due to them not working on Tesla vehicles at the location. Something they dont mention at any point in their huge banner advertising that they work on Tesla on the website. Then, despite what their website says, they rejected me anyway due to not wanting to work with my insurance company.Update, got a call back from the owner. Changed their story to being at capacity after I mentioned the false advertising. Which I doubt, since thats what they would have said from the start if it was true. I have an archive of the site on the Wayback Machine just in case they try to edit the page and act like it never happened.

Got recommended here by a friends. they did a decent job on repainting but they left some deep, metal exposing scratches. i just asked them to cover the touch up paint (25$) the guy on the phone strait up RUDE, they know im a full time student and i cant drive over 30 minutes to get it repainted! i said ill prove it ill email u before and after pictures of my car! he insist im lying even though my parents left work early to pick the car up 30 minutes prior.
