Well for my daughter’s first birthday we ordered a cake from classic. The cake was one of the best cakes we had in US. All the guests were asking for more. Second thing is their punctuality, 5:10 pm the ordered cake was delivered at my home. Bang on time. We have decided from now onwards each of our daughter’s birthday or any kind of family celebration / get together cakes would be from classic bakery. We love classic 🎂.

My son’s shark themed cake was amazing!! All of my family and friends loved it. I even referred Classic Bakery to anyone who asked. Not to forget the flavor was extraordinary, such a delicious cake. Ordered the red velvet cake for my sons birthday and it was delicious! It was very moist and just the right balance with the cream cheese filling. I also tried a slice of their fruit cake, tiramisu and mango cakes. All were so good!! I most definitely recommend this place. Will be ordering from them again soon :)

I always love their cakes and this time they have outdone themselves. We planned a baby shower in less than 48 hrs time and I called them day before party to order a cake, So customization is not an option. I left most of the the decorations to chef choice and asked for cake in blue/white color to match the theme. They have done an awesome job. Cake was pretty, tasty and just the right colors. I used classic bakery for my wedding, with mango mousse and lemon raspberry. For the tasting it was so hard to choose because every flavor was delicious! So light, fluffy, and rich in flavor. All you want in a cake is here. You will not be disappointed.

We special ordered a custom two-tier cake for my husbands military retirement party. I cant praise enough the incredible work put in on our cake to make my husbands retirement party perfect. The cake was amazing, beautiful, and delicious. Everyone loved the cake, especially the mango cake. We especially loved the custom laser cut cake topper and how it cast a shadow of his name on the fondant top. Like I said, perfect. The customer service was excellent. I placed a late order and was able to get a beautifully decorated red velvet cake for an adult birthday celebration. I needed to travel a couple of hours with it and got great advice on how to do that safely. Cake arrived without incident and it was delicious!

Visited earlier this month in search of a ready made cake for a birthday. They had an excellent selection of desserts and cakes! Cakes come in three sizes and are about $30 median price? Pretty standard. The staff is super friendly and helpful, we had one person (sorry I didnt catch her name!) help us very attentively. We wanted a mango cake, but there wasnt one available in the display up front, so she checked the back for us and was able to find one!! We were so thankful. I also had one of their lace cookies which was SERIOUSLY good!! Definitely recommend for your dessert needs.The only reason I took a star off is because the mango cake was not the best - the frosting ended up being a little grainy and the texture weird. I assumed it was because it was from the back and hadnt properly thawed or something if it was previously frozen. I chalk this up to our own fault for getting something from the back, but we couldnt have known. in any case, not the best mango cake weve had, but still good and still happy that we were able to get it! maybe we will come back and try it in its prime for a fair comparison 😉

We ordered an 8” signature fruitcake for my Dad’s birthday this weekend. It’s been a family favorite of ours for over 20 years. Just as delicious as the first time we had it. The strawberry cream filling is wonderful and light without being too sweet. I seriously recommend this cake!

We ordered a chocolate Nutella cake for our son’s birthday and they did an amazing job.the decoration was awesome and the cake was delicious. Everyone loves it.

Their chocolate truffle cake and various baklava desserts are absolutely scrumptious! Their cakes are not overly sweet, which is great. The layers have clean lines and the designs are pretty as well. The staff is very nice, personable, and professional. This bakery will also accommodate for allergies, which is awesome!

I ordered custom cookies and a cake for my graduation with the design logo of my school. The ginger sugar cookies came out prefectly and tasted great. The cake was strawberry cream also with custom design. The layers started to fall apart once cut but overall the cake tasted great. The letter design of the cake could have been better because some of the letters were bigger than others. The location I ordered from was Tysons Corner and not the Gaithersburg location.

I have used Classic Bakery for at least 27 years for big special occasion cakes or just a box of cookies or pastries. I have always had quality service and the most excellent cakes and pastries. Most recently I ordered a cake for a retirement party. It was absolutely delicious and everyone loved it. Everyone asked where I got the cake from so I spread the word. You won’t be disappointed!

Good cake, I ordered classic carrot cake, the cake was tasty, the butter cream was extra too sweet and sour, it was thicker texture we didn’t like the cream but the cake by itself was very good, I think it was a bit pricey for the size 55$ for 6” cake, but the ordering online was easy and the cake was on time with only one day in advance notice which was the plus since called many places they needed week or at least 2-3 days in advance notice. I do 4 starts due to the cream taste and the price.

We got our anniversary cake from here, it was a “semi-naked” design. It was amazing, delicious, tasty and soooo good! I’ll be their costumer from now on!!

I could do commercials for Classic Bakery! I needed a cake for my daughter with less than 24 hours notice and they made it happen! Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful but it was delicious too! The icing was to die for! We chose a chocolate biscuit cake which was a first for us but I can’t wait to try the strawberry and vanilla flavors next! I highly recommend this bakery and will definitely be using them again in the near future!

The Red Velvet was good, but standard. The Mango cake on the other hand was second to NONE! The Mango cake came highly recommended by a family member and it did not disappoint. Light, not too sweet, absolutely delectable! Was an immediate hit for our gathering; not even a crumb was left behind. Looking forward to trying other flavors. Classic Bakery created the most beautiful gender reveal cake for me. It was the best thing at the party. Zena went above and beyond to keep the gender a secret. He even contacted my other vendor to coordinate. We chose lemon curd filling and everyone loved it, very lemony. I will definitely use them again. Im so happy I chose them.

We got our wedding cake from them and they are extremely helpful from cake tasting to selecting the flavors to design and delivery. We chose nutella vanilla bean and nutella cream with fresh strawberries for our wedding reception. Their cakes are so moist and not dry. I ordered an Oreo Creme cake for my sons birthday. The cake was ordered online for pickup and the process was very smooth. The cake was well decorated and tasted delicious.

Hands down the best bakery in the area! so many of my friends have gotten their cakes from here for all occasions. my sister and I have both gotten our wedding cakes done here, have picked up mini cakes as treats many times, hell, our husbands even know to go here and get our favorites as a sweet little surprise. their strawberry shortcake flavor is my fave but to be honest all their flavors are good. my husband loves their red velvet and our friends love their cookies and cream. the staff is so friendly, clean establishment, plenty of parking, and their consultation team is so nice and answer any questions you may have. if you have a budget, they will work with you and offer your alternatives or tips to get what you want or at least close to it.

This place is off behind a lot of other places but is easy to get to if you put it into maps. It is pretty big inside and has a nice atmosphere to it. When I was there I got some truffles which are good and all of the six different flavors I got where dark chocolate so you have to like dark chocolate if getting them. And I got the mocha cakes which seemed to be a popular choice there sense they were almost gone. The cakes were light and fluffy the coffee flavor was not over powering. They were also not to sweet which is hard to find normally. All the pastries are charged by weight which makes a lot more sense to me than charging by peice. Overall it is a great place to go for cakes.

We ordered a simple chocolate and vanilla cream sprinkles cake for my son’s 4th birthday and it was superb! Not too sweet and super soft and spongy. Everyone in our family (even the toughest of critics) loved it and I’ll be ordering here for many more special occasions in the future!

This place is a gem. Bought two cakes first time, a German chocolate and the fruit cake to share with family. Both were bomb and everyone loved them. Moist, quality ingredients, and held up on four hour car drive. These are not your grocery store cakes and are worth the prices. Ordered online 48 hours in advance and cakes were ready without a hitch. Shop was busy when we picked up but staff were great and apologized for waits and still went the extra mile for everyone in line.The shop is cute, clean, and inviting—looks like a nice place to sip and sip. hoping to go back soon and enjoy their coffee/breakfast offerings. We also got one of the mixed cookies boxes and loved it, so many classic cookie options along with ones I’ve never tried. Will definitely be back, can’t wait to try their baklava!

Staff were very knowledgeable. My daughter is on a dairy free and egg free diet and I was happy to know that they make allergy friendly cakes. It tasted great and you wouldnt even know it didnt have dairy or eggs.

Ordering on the phone was just as easy and efficient as ordering in the store itself.What we love about the cakes is that they taste homemade but look professional. My only complaint is that we always order a slightly larger cake than needed but there were hardly any leftovers because everyone went back for seconds.

Delicious cake! My girlfriend made a custom cake order here for my birthday recently and it is easily one of the best cakes we have ever had. She asked for a Catan design and the tiles printed on the cake were so good we could have used it to play.The cake was chocolate with nutella mousse and it was amazing. We actually werent able to pick it up the day off due to time constraints, but it was still delicious when we picked it up the day after. The cake itself was soft and fluffy and the mousse was creamy and just the perfect amount of sweetness that makes you want to keep eating more without being overpowering. We cant wait to try the other treats they have and weve already decided to get the cake for my girlfriends birthday from here too next year.

It’s rare to find a bakery which carries a nice and wide assortment of baklava’s, cakes, cookies, gelato flavors and chocolates. I must say, this place just isn’t the same. I used to go to Classic Bakery when they were in the plaza by Brusters. Back then, the bakery was on fire. The flavors, the service, the quality. I still go here to support the business, but admittedly it feels like some of the love is gone.

I had to get two birthday cakes on the fly when plans changed for my hubby’s birthday. It was a Saturday afternoon and pickings in the display case were somewhat slim. I chose a red velvet cake and a (double?) chocolate truffle cake. Classic wrote messages on both cakes, we kept them in the sealed boxes on our back porch (50°F) and we cut into them the following day, 24 hours later.THEY WERE THE BEST BIRTHDAY CAKES WE HAVE EVER HAD. Their red velvet is mind blowing. I heard more than once “I usually don’t like red velvet, but…” This will be my go-to bakery now.

We ordered a cake for a 50th Anniversary party and were very pleased with the result. Cake was made exactly as we ordered and everyone raved about how it looked and tasted. The young lady who took are order spent a lot of time with us to make certain we were getting exactly what we wanted.

Classic Bakery is literally one of my constant go tos for a dessert and cake spot! I got a cake for an event I was doing and it was so easy to order and they have endless options as well so you dont have to customize! The pickup process wasnt easy so I think that could be more efficient. But otherwise the cake was delicious and beautiful!

We picked up a cake for my birthday on Sunday. I got the Oreo cake and it was superb. This was easily one of the best cakes Ive ever tasted. The icing is light and fluffy, not overly sweet. It tastes so fresh and creamy. There were tons of Oreo pieces throughout the cake, in between the layers. 10/10 cake. Im sad I dont live around here to order more of them.

Totally loved the customer service I got from the Tysons Corner location when i contacted them via email. My pick up was from the Gaithersburg location! Everything went well...cake was delicious!
