I purchased a dining room table from this location on 8/23 and it was indicated that we would be getting a floor model. The sales associate explained the shipping process that it would be picked up from the store and put in a warehouse at which point it would be delivered. After back and forth of trying to find out a shipping date, the sales associate told my wife that it would be shipped on 9/16. I have to assume that I found it strange that there was no shipping confirmation or any other piece of information that would confirm the information. Our intuition was right and we called the shipping department at which time they confirmed that they had actually taken the piece off of the delivery truck and was going to push our shipping date further for a table that was on the showroom floor. It almost seems that the associates and the shipping don’t talk to each other making us the middleman to figure it all out. We don’t have unlimited time to take off and now we have to make arrangements for this future date. If this company likes to waste my time, I might as well just consider another company to spend my time and money on. To top it off, we had just bought a couch from them this week, and now we have serious doubts of the reliability of this company to meet its shipping windows. When you pay good money for a reputable company, you’d expect the the customer service to be on par. If other companies can deliver in stock items in less than a month, you’d figure the same can be said about Ethan Allen.UPDATEThe management reached out to my wife to discuss situation at which time she reiterated the situation. They extended their sincere apologies for the situation and promptly rectified the problem.

We cant say enough good things about Ethan Allens thoroughness and follow-through from Nanette Baker, our Interior Designer (in Garden City, NY); to Emily (in Denver, closest to where we live), responsible for scheduling the delivery of our furniture; to Gary, Gayel, and Aaron, the delivery specialists driving the trucks for Donetta and Gerald Love of J.B. Hunt (contracted to Ethan Allen in Denver) and moving the furniture from the truck into our home, carefully assembling it, and painstakingly positioning it in the room where it was being placed; and Cliff (in Denver), the delivery overseer. Everyone with whom we came in contact was professional, efficient, courteous, caring, and effective. Each one of them was attentive to our questions, comments, and concerns, their goal being to ensure our experience was better than merely good; their follow-through was amazing (especially Nanette and Emily -- Nanette monitored our purchase from the time we placed our order after our initial contact with her until it was all delivered, contacting us after each delivery to ensure we had received our items, all had gone smoothly, and was as good or better than expected at the time our order was placed; and Emily kept us continually apprised of the shipment and delivery status since we were receiving our furniture in two different shipments, and also maintained frequent, timely contact afterward due to a minor issue that arose during the first shipments delivery to ensure the matter was satisfactorily resolved); and we cannot speak highly enough of any of these individuals as absolutely fantastic representatives of this company which so obviously has the best interests of their customers at heart.This is our first furniture shopping experience with Ethan Allen. It will not be our last!

Fantastic service from my designer Nanette Baker. Although we’ve never met she walked me through the process and I love my new living room and kitchen furniture. And delivery was easy, on time and professional. Highly recommend Ethan Allen for quality, affordable and beautiful furniture.

The table took quite a long time to be delivered due to a backlog in construction and materials. However, once we took possession, it looked amazing except there were 2 small areas that looks scratched. Ethan Allen was called and they sent a technician out to our house to evaluate the defects. He stated it was extra glaze remaining from the finishing process. He sanded it off w/ some steel woll and the table looks amazing now. Overall it was a great job and I am very satisfied w/ the product and their response to a complaint.

Very personalized service, even though I was just purchasing some dining room chairs. The designer really took the time to understand what I was looking for, how I wanted the chairs to coordinate with everything else in my home and guide me through the material selection process. I ended up with something I would never have thought of had I done it on my own -- and I love how it all came together. She also helped me find a resource to cut a piece of glass for my table which had nothing to do with Ethan Allen. But I appreciated the extra effort and full-service mentality. If Im looking for furniture in the future, Ill definitely go back!

Wow, first time here and it was so lovely. So many options and friendly staff. We came from Pottery Barn the day before, was completely ignored in the store, wasn’t given any direction on a table we were interested in purchasing, and felt like we were bothering the employees at Pottery Barn. At Ethan Allen, we were immediately welcomed and encouraged to take as much time as we wanted. Nanette was so friendly, helpful in offering creative direction, allowed us to try as many different options. It was exactly what we were looking for and I will absolutely be back in the future! We purchased a beautiful sofa and matching loveseat, and as usual the staff designers had great suggestions and were able to easily help us design our custom pieces. A fabric swatch was quickly sent by mail so we could continue to select complementary furniture, rug, paint and accessories. We were also surprised that the furniture was delivered in the promised timeframe. We have a number of home improvement projects going on simultaneously and all of the contractors are complaining about huge supply chain disruption and inability to get anything on time. Not Ethan Allen - they were easy to work with and completely reliable!

Wish I could give less than one star! The worst customer service imaginable. In addition to another chair that came damaged and had to be repaired, we ordered a $2600 wing back chair that was beautiful in the showroom. When it arrived in November, it was not at all like the floor model or any other picture of the chair we could find in all of their catalogs. Trying to get customer service to pick up the chair was a nightmare. After two months, they finally told us that they received the replacement fabric (why they didnt have the fabric in stock I will never know) and that they would come get the chair in late February. THREE WEEKS after they picked up the chair, we received a phone call stating that the replacement fabric they had ordered was not usable, and that the whole process will be delayed further because they have to reorder the fabric!! Would it not be advisable to check the fabric when it arrived to see that it was usable? And, they had the chair for three weeks - it took them that long to figure out the fabric was not usable?? It is now four months since the original delivery of our furniture and we still have no idea when we will actually get our chair. Words cannot describe the absolute frustration with this companys horrific customer service. STAY FAR AWAY FROM ETHAN ALLEN - they are no longer a company of quality and integrity. I cannot understand many of the other Google reviews, if you read reviews on other sites (e.g. the Better Business Bureau), as I should have, you will get the real story on this company.UPDATE: They finally fixed the chair (now nearly 6 months since the original delivery) and delivered it this morning. However, the chair is STILL not as depicted and the stitching is horrible - it looks like they rushed it all and gave no thought to checking the final product before it went out the door again. This chair should have been perfect with all the time they had to resolve the issues - a complete failure on their part. My previous recommendation stands... STAY FAR AWAY FROM ETHAN ALLEN!

Ordered whole house window treatment from this store, sales/designer/manager all in good manner. Things turned up side down after deposit was made, window treatment came in piece by piece, whole process takes more than four months, Installation scheduling is also disaster. When you call back, no one is available and front desk knows nothing.

Donna Classi and Ann Marie Diller were amazing designers to work with. They were patient, thorough and listened to everything I wanted. I was able to contact them with any questions and they would get back to me immediately. Even after making several changes to the design and color scheme they were more then happy to update everything to make our look come alive. I had a great experience with Ethan Allen in Garden City. We completely redesigned our living room, painted the whole living area and sanded and restained our hardwood floors. The designer who helped us, Tina, was exceptional! She took the time to come to our house and then had a personal presentation ready for us back at the store with all her suggestions on style and color. She even helped us choose paint color for the walls and stain for the floors! Delivery of the furniture and area rug went smoothly. We needed tweeking on one cabinet and EA sent a repairman quickly, who took care of the problem. A separate team came in to hang my curtains in the dining room and they were also quick and efficient. After everything was done, Tina came back to my home to look at the finished product. She was caring and attentive throughout the whole project and was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. You may pay a little extra for Ethan Allens products, but the quality is bar none and the service is excellent! Were thrilled with the way our living room turned out!

I ordered two products from here, one was defected and took forever to get a repair person to call and fix the issue, not even sure if ill be able to get replacement product. The other product was damaged while it was being shipped and its been over a month and we still dont have it. hasnt been a good experience so far with this branch.

Waited over 10 week for our bed. Today they delivered a California king head board with a king size frame, of course it doesn’t match. So so disappointed. This is the second mistake. they made on our order. When you have to pay so much, wait so long and it comes in wrong it puts a bad taste in your mouth about the whole experience

Bought a table which had a defect and it was replaced at no charge. It took some time, but I am satisfied with the resolution of the problem.

We used many pieces from Ethan Allen to furnish our home. The quality of the pieces and expertise of our interior designer, Joanne, is what keeps us coming back.
