I have been going to Suburban Chrysler Dodge in Garden City for fourteen years now. My Express Lane Consultants Phil and James are simply the most honest employees you will ever have. They never ever will try to talk you into any extra parts or service you may need on your vehicle . When I do need any parts or service on my vehicle other than my oil change I always take their recommendation because I know they are not trying to talk me into some thing I do not need.
Got an oil change and driver power seat repaired. Loud resonating noise while driving home turned out to be unfastened cover on air intake filter. Air bag warning light was unplugged sensor under seat. Sloppy trim installation console side. Broken trim clip opposite side got a tiewrap holding it on. Buy your own door lube they dont lube hinges or latches.
We visited this dealership a couple of times and worked with Steven Volk. He was very helpful. He helped to set up my purchase on the day I needed it done, and he even introduced me in person to all of the features on my car. That was a first for me. He was patient and not pushy about purchases or financing, but also very knowledgeable about financing and offered those services if needed. My whole experience was GREAT! After checking out 2 car lots prior to coming to Jeep Suburban Garden City this past weekend I just knew I wasn’t going to find anything I wanted. When I arrived at the lot I was greeted by Mike McCaulley, he was my salesman. He was beyond friendly & professional. I informed him that this would be my FIRST car purchase & I told him I was looking for a Compass or a Cherokee Trailhawk. He explained to me everything from what the stickers meant to the car, to directing me in the right direction as to what I was looking for on the lot. After giving me some time to look around on my own he asked me if I found anything I wanted & I came across a 2018 Jeep Compass Limited that seemed to be the best steal on the lot for the price & mileage. After test driving the vehicle I knew it was the one & although I was very nervous because it was my first car purchase, he insured me that everything would be ok! He explained to me how the process would work & how his finance guy (I forgot his name but he was amazing as well, he sits on Mike’s right side in a corner office) would be helping to complete the process to get me approved. The process was really quick & smooth. Mike’s finance guy asked me did I want to drive out of here with the car today & I said YES!!!!! After he finished up, I was able to leave the lot with the car that I wanted, with no money down, & I was BEYOND EXCITED!!!! Nicholas Engels finished up the process which is the signage of paperwork & explaining to me in detail about the extended warranties. What I liked about Nicholas was that he didn’t try to sell me every extended warranty they had, he picked the most important ones & explained to me why he picked them & how he felt they would be beneficial to me. Each scenario he broke down for me regarding the warranties made sense & which made me move forward his recommendations. Long story short, these 3 guys (Mike McCaulley, Mike’s finance guy, & Nicholas Engels made my FIRST car buying experience one to remember. They say the third times a charm & I’m so happy I ended up stopping in. I love my Jeep & I love them because they were really professional. I was disappointed with our service our tires needed a bit of air and the exterior of the car was not washed. Dealerships charge the most for repairs so the xtra customer service is paramount in my opinion. If its up to me, we will not return to this dealership for any repairs needed to our jeep.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change on June 30, 2021. The lady who was assisting me seemed confused as she was entering my information in the computer. When I picked up my vehicle she forgot who I was so another employee assisted me. I reviewed the paperwork before pulling off and noticed there was a leak listed. I went back in to inquire about the leak. The employee went to speak with the mechanics who performed the oil change. I stood there watching and they seemed lost and didn’t know who wrote there was a leak and what kind of leak it was on the paper. The employee scheduled an appointment for the leak to be reviewed. I didn’t make the appointment and when I called the woman that answered the phone refused to reschedule my appointment over the phone. Here I am a month later…. My car is running hot and I don’t have any antifreeze in my vehicle! I don’t have a leak ….which means my fluids were not topped off! Although, I have paperwork showing it was topped off. They also didn’t put my oil change sticker in the window so I have no idea when I need to have it changed again! Luckily, I found a great mechanic to help out with the overheating issues. I will never bring my vehicle here for another oil change or anything else! Completely disappointed!

When my 2019 DD was experiencing intermittent problems he believed me and kept working with me every single time I came back until my issue was replicated and solved. I visited the dealer a few days looking for a Grand Cherokee. The sales persons were not too keen on helping me. They did not seem to have the time to show me around. This would have been my first Cherokee and I am sure there are other dealers that are more helpful.
Dont waste your time! If you got an online offer for your vehicle from Suburban, ITS A SCAM! I was getting online and dealer (in person)quotes on my vehicle. I was completely honest about every detail when filling out the online forms. The JD Power website gave me a quote from Suburban in Garden City. It was slightly higher ($600 to $1000 more)than what I had received from other dealers, mind you I took my vehicle into the dealership and had them do the quote on the spot. They were on par with Carvanna an Vroom. I received a call from the dealership, very nice person, all eager to set up an appointment, and confirmed the offer. Good so far. I figured it would be nice and simple to drop off my vehicle, let them do the paperwork, and collect a check. Then we arrived at this rundown, ratty looking dealership. grass growing through the cracked up parking lot. The place looks neglected. Well, whatever lets see what they have to say. A salesman greeted us, very nice, got my VIN#, mileage and keys. Gave it to his manager. Manager spends about 3 minutes looking over my vehicle, didnt start it, just walked around the outside opened the drivers door poked his head in, then spends about 10 to 15 min on his computer. Heres the BOMBSHELL. He slashed the online offer by $6000But he could not point out any flaws in the vehicle that would depreciate its value. Turns out it was all just a dirty little trick to get me on the lot. I will NEVER deal with Suburban again.

Well, Im not sure what has changed at this dealership, but I will tell you its not the same as it was in the past. I have never had a problem with this dealership until this visit. To start off I drove my car there to have it serviced, it was a Friday, I was told by the service advisor that I needed to make an appointment so I did for the following Wednesday. I brought my car in at 9:00AM sharp Wednesday morning, I live close by the dealership so every now and then I would go by there to see if my car was being looked at. To make a long story short it still wasnt looked at and this was Friday, so I went in and approached the service advisor and asked her what was going on and she said she could not tell me when it would be looked at, I said that I assumed that since I had an appointment it was going to be looked at on my appointment day, or at least the next day. Since the weekend was the next day I didnt want to be without my car. She closed up my appointment was giving me my keys and said we dont know when we can look at it.So, I asked to talk to a manager, nice guy, he said that he would get the car looked at today, even if he had to look at it himself. The problem was diagnosed, the part had to be ordered, ordered Monday came in on Wednesday, they have had my car for a week now. So, I drove by the dealership and no noticed my car still in the lot, so I went in wand explained everything that has been going on, they pulled it into the dealership at 2:00pm, it was done around 4:00pm, two hours later!Ok, Im not done yet!! So, I picked up my car, everything seemed fine, then after about a day I noticed a loud rattling from the rear of the car, I looked under the car and noticed a metal bracket that holds the right muffler up was not attached so the muffler was kinda hanging there bouncing around as I drove. You see, they had to remove the exhaust system to perform the service on my car.So, back up to the dealership I go. I explain to a different service advisor about the rattling muffler and they pull my car up on a rack, I see guy looking at the problem and procedes to fix it. I get the car back home and I decide to look under it to check out the work, I wasnt feeling very confident at this point. You see, the bracket that holds the muffler up to the bottom of the car there is a little metal tab that needs to be inserted into a little hole, then the bold is secured to hold the bracket in properly, well guess what? The tab was not inserted, the guy ran the bold down and flattened down the tab that was curved to go into the hole. Granted, the bracket is secure, is it on the same way as the left one, NO. I saw him look at the left on too, so I figured he must have known about the tab. I might leave it that way or try to fix it myself. Will I take my car back to this dealership, I doubt it. The dealership has changed, I have been dealing with the dealership for about 15 or so years. Too bad its not as it once was.

My new vehicle purchase was easy! My wife and I walked the lot and we’re not bothered, after getting a better idea of what we wanted we went inside. There was no sales “pressure”, Keith was very happy to help us finalize our decision and brought us our vehicle to test drive. After the test drive we decided to buy the Jeep and Keith walked us through the credit process. We went to lunch, came back and Nicholas the business manager walked us through our agreement and finalized all of the paperwork. Both Keith and Nicholas were professional and courteous throughout the process and answered all of our questions. Overall my visit was exceptional and was one of the easiest vehicle purchases I’ve ever had!

Beyond Exceptional service!! I came to suburban Jeep needing assistance and Joe V. helped me out tremendously. He told me my car wouldn’t be fix until about 2 weeks. I explained to him how I needed to have a car to get back and forth to work. Joe told me to leave my car overnight and the next morning it was fixed!! He went above and beyond to help me as well as educate me about my vehicle and what needed to be done! He was extremely nice and patient with me! Was told the price of a car. I told them it was too high and I’d look elsewhere. Got a call back saying they could get the price where I needed it. Upon meeting with the salesmen, was told the original price and that they would not budge. I asked about being sold a different car since I made the trip and they refused to assist me in determining monthly payments on a different vehicle. Terrible salesmen, terrible service and no consideration for customer needs. Avoid this dealer.

I have been to this dealership for service on my car on several occasions and each time I am very impressed with their speed & professionalism. I also like that a technician is willing to look at your car and sometimes do a little light work on it without an appointment and not charge if it was a simple enough repair or diagnosis. This time around, James Pallone was my tech. He kept me up to date on the progress of my vehicle and even made sure to mention a few special discounts that they had to offer at the time. I have nothing bad to say about this place yet.

I went for a recall issue, related to safety, the steering wheel emblem was removed but they did not put a new cover or something that avoids the hint that the emblem left, that takes away the aesthetics and quality of the product. I have a Grand Caravan.

I usually have a great experience at this location for my oil changes. That being the main reason I keep going back.I am not sure why an oil change costs $100 now?!?! I had my father in law take it in this time. I would have liked an explanation, but none was given to me. I would hate to think he was being taken advantage of.Will be taking my vehicle to another location from here on out. Highly disappointed in the service.

Took my jeep to Suburban of Farmington because it was making a darth vader breathing noise out of AC. First they said they couldnt hear anything. Had to do a second visit to show them the obvious noise. They then said it was normal operation. All b s. Then I took it to Garden City and they fixed the condenser and refilled freon, fixed in a couple of hours. Lesson, Suburban Farmington is either incompetent or dishonest. Garden City is the best choice for service.

Joe did a great job of working with Chrysler warranty regarding my Minivan repairs. He updated me daily on the status of van. Out of my 15 years working with Service advisors, this is the best by far in making sure I was informed of everything going on throughout the entire (10 day) service of my van.
Needed to get an alignment on my wife’s 2016 Fiat 500x lounge, nothing major but every other Chrysler I called surrounding Dearborn told me I had to go 50 minutes to Birmingham or further to get help with basic maintenance! They barely offered assistance until I called here and the representative not only took time to ask questions but he was very friendly on my appointment day and told me it would take about an hour when he actually got me out in 30 minutes. Professional, polite and helpful, I will take my Chrysler and my wife’s Fiat no where else from now on.

Very disappointed with my oil change visit today. Only due to the rep that assisted me today. He seem to be rushing me during our contact. Then for my tire rotation he asked for my wheel lock, told him its in the trunk. He then proceeds to tell me I have to get it. I told him the techs here always find it Ive been here a number of times with no issues. He still said no wheel lock visible no tire rotation. He was just very in a rushing mood. After todays visit I will not be back.

This has been a great experience. I arrived at 7am, was directed to drive into the service area where I was met by Veronica. She walked me through the service process and had my rental vehicle ready for me. I was back home in less then an hour. Veronica was right on top of everything. She was familiar with my extended warranty from Route 66 and kept me informed via text as my repairs were being done. Best dealer experience ever.
