The best cakes in Boise hands down! We’ve been getting our cakes there for years and every major event. Not only does everyone love the cake, but they look like pieces of art and the owner has AMAZING customer service. They are always going above and beyond to accommodate!

Boise Cakery is the BEST! We have used them for multiple events and have never been disappointed. Even better- time got away from me for my childs birthday this year and I was worried that I wouldnt be able to order my cupcakes in time. Shantelle was so sweet and was able to sneak in my order. She really is the best and always tries to accommodate our needs- not to mention she is crazy talented! Hands down the best cupcakes in town!

Boise Cakery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️On 7/23/21, I visited Boise Cakery for the first time. My only regret is that I waited so long. As amazing as all of the baked goods looked, the items I purchased tasted even better. Here’s what I tried:Original Fudge Brownie ($2.25) - Chocolatey and moist, this was one one of the best brownies that I have ever had. Also available today was a Quad Chocolate Slab Brownie.Lemon Crumb Bar ($3.50) - Imagine the best lemon bar that you’ve ever had, and then some. Homemade lemon curd layered between buttery layers of shortbread, with a soft crumble topping. Also available today was a Raspberry Crumb Bar.Classic Banana Cupcake ($3) - Banana cake + vanilla buttercream. Oh my goodness! Everything about it was perfection. The cake had great flavor and a beautiful crumb, which was enhanced by the subtle contrast of the vanilla buttercream. Also available today were Classic Raspberry, Classic Vanilla and Classic Chocolate.Coconut Citrus Cooler Cupcake ($4) - Coconut cake, lime buttercream, mango lime mocktail pipette, lime slice. The coconut cake is made with fresh coconut, not shredded. This was my first time trying a cupcake with a pipette. Like everything else I tried, it had great flavor. Spent about three hours online trying to buy one of their cakes. The delivery said it would be delivered in three days at midnight. The pickup said it wouldnt be ready for 32 days. There is no customer service or phone number, so there is no way to know which is correct or ask questions. There arent even pictures of the cakes online, at least for mobile devices, so its difficult to know what youre getting. Im sure the cakes are delicious, they just seem almost impossible to get, it seems the owner is doing everything herself. May be time to hire a customer service person.

These cupcakes are amazing! You have to try them! I got some for my family and they were so fresh, moist, fluffy and flavorful! Make sure you try one with strawberries … there are real strawberries! I wish they were around when I got married or they would have done my wedding cake! Never had anything like it before! Seriously!!!

Driving around Boise Cakery and thinking about their delicious cupcakes! You cant imagine the cravings while breastfeeding! I pulled over just to realize they open at 11am and I am too early. I take my baby out of the car to nurse her. Unfortunately she is too fussy and I cant wait any longer for her nap. Looking through the window I see the cupcakes are ready but the lady inside is showing me 10 more minutes. I know,I can read but for me as a mom,every minute feels like an hour. They did nothing wrong,they will open at 11. However these little things mean a lot for me and as a customer, it wont make me come back no matter how delicious their cupcakes and cakes are.

We used Boise Cakery for our wedding. A two-tier cake and a bunch of cupcakes. We got the lemon lavender and it was delicious!! Also was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

Pretty cakes. The taste/texture was gross though. The bread was so saturated in butter it was translucent and appeared soaked and greasy. It was nauseating to eat because of the high fat content.I used these for pics and then tosses them. Don’t recommend these if you plan to eat them.

Omg so good!! I did a grab and go, which all of her options look amazing. I would highly recommend for taste, service, and creative!

Update:The owner was amazing and reached out with another apology and offered to make things right. I really appreciate the care and thoughtfulness that went into her message. Its hard to come by a great bakery and this is one.Original:I’ve been coming to every Saturday grab and go since the first weekend of March. It’s something that I look forward to each week. Last week we got there at 11:30 and nearly every specialty flavor was sold out and we were told by the owner that they start to sell out by about 11 so this week we showed up at 10:15. The specialty cupcakes weren’t even finished yet so they had us pay, took our order, and told us it’d be 10 minutes and they’d bring them out to our car for us. Next thing you know 30 minutes pass, so my husband jumps into the now 8+ party line that’s made it’s way out the door to make sure they didn’t forget about us.It gets to him after nearly an hour has passed and they ran out of one of the flavors we ordered and PAYED FOR. They forgot about us. We sat there in the parking lot right in front of the store for an hour to get these cupcakes, specifically this one flavor which my 39 week pregnant self has been craving since the first time I had it a few weeks ago. They replaced the cupcake with another flavor per my husbands choice. When he came back out to the car to tell me what happened I went inside and asked for a refund on the cupcake which they complied.It is absolutely not acceptable to forget about a paying customer for an hour. I get that y’all got busy but it just isn’t okay and it’ll be the last time I ever purchase anything from your store again.

I reached out to Boise Cakery for some dessert table items for an outdoor party in March 2021. Id wanted items that could be safely shared in a socially-distanced environment without having an open dessert table. Shantelle was extremely responsive and gave me excellent feedback and recommendations.But boy-oh-boy I was completely unprepared for how delicious and wonderful it all was! Macarons and brownie bites and churro cups and mini tarts...the number one comment people made at the gathering was how exquisite and creative the desserts were. Ive since become a devoted customer of their grab-n-go, and Im so excited to have such an amazing business in Garden City.

Purchased a sample box. They only have them about once a month it seems. You get a one hour window to pick up your box or they throw it away. No call. No reminder. And if you still want a box you have to buy another one. They just steal your money. They dont state anywhere that they will throw your purchase in the trash and keep the money if you miss your one hour window. Poor customer service. Will never recommend them.

We hired Shantelle to do our wedding cake and cupcakes last month. Oh. My. Goodness. They were PERFECT. Every last piece of cake and cupcake were gone by the end of the night. I even got a few messages asking who made my cake because they were so moist and the best they had ever had.I still cant get over how amazing my big day was...and I HIGHLY recommend Boise Cakery if you want cake that your guests will DEVOUR and thank you for!

Let me just say that for everyone that hasn’t tried this place, you need to now. I order a cake about a month ago for a get together and let me say I was breathless when I tried the cake. I’m sadly don’t have any pictures because I forgot to take one but I seriously love how the cake turned out and how it tasted. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is wanting to order a cake.

The Boise Cakery is amazing! I threw a surprise 40th birthday party for my wife, and Shantelle designed and prepared the perfect cake and cupcakes for the event! Shanelle did an absolutely AMAZING job on our wedding cake! We were quite picky and wanted our cake to look amazing, but also taste amazing! After trying several cakes from different bakers across the valley, Shantelles stood out to us. She was so amazing to work with and completely brought the vision we had for our cake to life. This is our second birthday cake from here, THE BEST EVER CAKES! Extremely talented & creative!We had; Black Tie, decorated beautifully with chocolate covered espresso beans throughout. The chocolate cake...moistest ever, flavorful throughout every bite. Plus not the buttercream was perfect!!Then; Southern Gent, decorated with caramel, tiny pretzels all placed perfectly. Cake & frosting again YUM!Thank you so much again, looking forward to more treats!

Shantelle is an absolute pleasure to work with!We went to her with a truly unique idea for our wedding cake. We wanted a black cake, marble print and we asked her to design it. She worked hard on narrowing down the final design for our cake and I couldnt have been happier.It was beautiful! Better than I expected!She really puts in the time and effort and it shows through her work.It was also the best cake Ive ever had. We went to her for our wedding as first time customers but I will be returning to her for our dessert needs in the future.

We hired Shantelle to do our wedding cake in 2018, when she was still working out of her home, and our cake and wedding desserts were delicious and beautiful. Now shes got her own place, and I just went back to her this month for a fun cake to reveal to my husbands family that we are expecting. She worked up a great sketch and it was perfect and painless. I cant recommend her highly enough -- everything she makes is amazing!

What can I say short of INCREDIBLE. How many times have you seen beautiful cakes, cupcakes, etc., that ended up disappointing the minute they hit your mouth? Not the case with Boise Cakery. Not at ALL! Not only is Shantelles work gorgeous, it is truly delicious. The Dessert Table she created at a recent event I threw was the talk of the party! So many choices, and so much fun.

We ordered our wedding cake for a small elopement for 14 people & even with it being a small, minor order, they poured all of their baking talent into it! All of our guests could not stop raving about how good this cake was. Especially my dad!! We are now so in love with Boise Cakery that we will be ordering the same cake for my dads bday!! Boise Cakery did an amazing job on my wedding cakes! I had a vision for my wedding cake and Shantelle was so easy to work with. She saw my idea and made it even better. It was stunning and I cant wait to get more pics of my cake. On top of the cakes looking amazing they tasted even better. We chose the lemon flavored cake and strawberry champagne. I will definitely come back for future cakes.

Shantelle did an amazing job on my mother’s birthday Ghostbuster theme cake. Not only did it look incredible, it tasted amazing too. I highly recommend getting the lemon creme with cream cheese. I’ve tried a lot of different bakers in the city and this will be my new cake person.

I just bought a few cupcakes from One Haute Cookie in Eagle where Boise Cakery has set up shop. These cupcakes are freakin amazing. Definitely the best cupcake I have had in a very long time. Seriously, excellent job. I will be dreaming about that almond cupcake for days to come.

After looking online for elegant cakes for my mothers 80th birthday, Boise Cakery was my choice. I called on a Thursday hoping they could make something elegant for Saturday pickup. Knowing that all the bakerys usually have to have a couple weeks notice, I was hesitant that they could fulfill my request. Not knowing exactly what I wanted, just elegant and delicious, I explained it all to them. I put it in Shantelles hands and I was blown away by the elegance and the taste. Chocolate cake with Bourbon Carmel filling, beautiful mauve, white, pink flowers. My mother was overwhelmed by it all! Thank you Shantelle and Boise Cakery for going above and beyond the customer care you provided me and my family. You are definately #1 on my list for elegant cakes.

Shantelle was responsible for creating our wedding cake on September 14th. To me, it turned out remarkable! It wasnt just beautiful but it was delicious. By the time my husband and I got around to picking up a piece for ourselves the cake was almost completely gone which tells it all! We had plenty of desserts to choose from. Shantelle herself made the entire process a breeze for us and I felt that our desires as a couple truly came through in the presentation of the cake. She was easy to communicate with as well. We highly recommend her!

We ordered a Peter Rabbit cake for my sister’s baby shower and we all loved it! The cake was a vanilla cake and buttercream Nutella icing! It was just the right amount of cake and it was gone by the end of the night! We absolutely loved it! Thank you!!!

Shantelle was amazing to work with and our guests still cant stop raving about our beautifully delicious cake! Solid 10/10 for her pink champagne cake with fresh strawberries and vanilla buttercream. The monogrammed pineapple topper was the perfect touch to our Hawaiian glam wedding!
