Great little grocery store with great deals! Highly recommend their bone-in pork chops, always good and flavorful at a decent price. Their produce is better than most big box stores and is very fresh! Stop in and check out what they have, you wont break the bank!

Never been out to gastonia and didnt realize its closing on 10/2

I have tired save alot in the past and didnt like it but have recently went back and they have some really good items and you can find some good thing you cant find at other stores all though they could use a better drink section or there own name brand of drinks and also to clean alittle more but its a good store and everyone is always so nice and friendly only my second trip so far I will be back

Save a lot offers good prices much lower than most grocery stores without compromising quality.

They actually had name brand mayonnaise on Easter Sunday and plenty of eggs. The cashier was very very nice.

Not the best place to shop, the food isnt that great, sometimes its already spoiled or freezer burned, but if your on a budget it works, but honestly take my advice and just go to food lion

This store is ghetto! Yeah they have good prices but the employees and management horrible! It’s covid-19 and none of them had mask on!! Employees should be wearing mask! During this time. They didn’t seem to care, nothing was wiped down after being used by customer. They just don’t care. The cashier was rude as hell! Most of these comments talk about the cashier and how the lines are always long! Instead of saying thank you from management. Y’all need to have more employees checking out customers! Don’t make no damn sense. Nobody should have to wait in like for more than 5 mins! DO BETTER

Great place to shop with Social Distancing - always eerie quiet. Well-stocked selection of low cost store-brand staples, meats, cheeses, and frozen goods. Wont find everything on your list here if your tastes are fancy or specific, but you will get a heck of a deal on what you do find and wont have to deal with any crowds in this time of contagion.Just dont expect to use the restrooms. I have no idea what happens in there but it is consistently not pleasant. Its like a Jackson Pollock painting in there sometimes, and that aint chocolate sauce. Had to knock a star off for having to hold it until getting home - pretend they dont have public restrooms and spare yourself the horror.

Customer service was great and was out of there in no time.

This was an awful experience. Store smelled, no potatoes, blueberries, strawberries. 1 cashier. There 9 of us in 1 line and they waited until it got down to 2 people left and someone came out and opened another lane. I was in there for 4 things and waited in line 20 minutes. I let a gentleman who had 2 things in front and another gentleman with 5 thi gs put his merchandise in my buggy because we stood for so long.

Reasonable Prices. Helpful Service with a smile and thanks! Lots of people love this store in our area! We went without a Grocery Store for about 20 yrs. It was a God Send to a mostly Lower middle class and low income area! Thanks SavaLot!

Save-A-Lot is a decent store and is great for the value. The parking lot could do with a bit of cleaning up as could this door exterior. But you cant beat the value and location of this particular store. Signage on the road could also be better, as if you didnt know it was there you would miss it. But overall the store gets a five-star from me.

Save a lot has a lot of products at a very good price. The selection of meats is both great and sparse. The meats that they have are excellent cut but they dont have all types of meat, which is fine. They have name brand products and I recommend them for the price

Expiration dates not checked frequently enough, found expired product by MONTHS. Check the dates before purchase on everything.

They really cleaned up their act in this store. It now has bright lights and clean floors and pretty organized freezers. They need to work on the one cashier and long line waiting stuff as well as the find your own cart in the parking lot snafu. They might get a few more customers if they did.

A different kind of grocery store with different brands you normally dont see in large volume in the common grocery chains, its the same with a different name and possibly a different taste to your favorite snacks and drink varieties

Its truly sad when you go into a supermarket and have to wait in a long line because there is only one cashier. Its even sadder when that cashier is a miserable person with no kind of acknowledgement that you are even there. SMH if there were a way to give 0 stars I would give that for this place.

I really like Save-A-lot. Even the brands are new to me they are very good quality food. The prices are amazing.

Low priced goods. Quality of fresh foods depends on the day. Quality of non perishables are okay.

The staff is great and I love there prices. The only issue that I have is the area that the store is in. People always approach me in the parking lot begging for money. Drugs can be seen in the parking lot being sold. I feel as if I am going to get robbed walking in or out of the store. Let me reiterate by saying...inside the store is a good experience but outside the store can be scary.

This place is like Aldi. You have to have a quarter for the cart and buy bags. This is the most expensive Save-A-Lot I have been in. I try not to shop here cause thr lines are so long.

Check out there weekly sales. They have really good buys. There regular prices on something are good also.

Long lines. Not enough cashiers. I bought a pork roast and when I opened it all you smelled was rotten sour eggs. I bought ground turkey in the past and it was bad also. You have to watch the meats there. Ive talked to a few others that have had the same issue. I noticed they leave buggies with frozen and refrigerated items sitting where they were stocking but left it for whatever reason. I had been shopping for a good half hour and the buggy with the frozen and refrigerated items still sitting there when I left. But on a good note, the cashier was very friendly.

Slow checkouts. Very rarely have more than one register open at evening rush. Waited 20 minutes to check out . Manager saw the line but walked on by. Kudos to the young man ringing people out as he remained very friendly to everyone as he cashed them out.

Employees are rude and disrespectful they never have what you want. They charging for bags and carts talking about to keep their prices low but they prices are not low. Want shop there any more.

The price is good but Im so so so upset. I purchased pork chops yesterday and I went to make it today it smelled so rotten that I almost threw up. A waste of $11 I have never smelled meat so bad like that pack of pork chops.

The restroom was horrible u need a hazmat suit to go on there and customer service is bad the man that was on the floor stocking went to a register and I was carrying a basket he told me I had to take my items out so he could ring them in i thought it was part of his job I will never shop there again and the prices were different from the ones on the shelves when I got to the register first and last visit. The line was very long and they only had 1 cash register open. A couple of customers left because they couldnt wait any longer. Then the manager, Ms. Olivio was rude.

This save-alot is in a really bad neighborhood, the customer service is bad. The cashiers are rude! And I honestly didnt feel safe shopping there. I dont really want to shop there ever again.

All the bacon has went up to 5 dallors a pack and people day prices cant be beat bs the bacon prices can walmart and food lion dont charge that much for they bacon. And the bacon in save a lot is not saling and that bacon expires date is too close to today is bad meat and the bacon is not moving. They will to start giving away that bacon.
