The service advisor wasn’t welcoming at all. Matter fact, she didn’t even smile at all and her responses were vague. Her actions spoke terribly about the dealership. I would expect so much from such a prestigious brand Maserati and Alfa Romeo. I hate to compare but honestly, Honda/Acura and other dealership shows so much keen and nice to their customers far more than I have seen at your dealership! Honestly, I have been thinking about selling my Alfa Romeo so I wouldn’t have to deal/come to this dealership again. It is horrible, I mean horrible, the people don’t seem to like their respective jobs and seems to do whatever they do please! And the staffs are constantly on their phone and basically not doing anything but yet they can’t even make customers feel at home. I was there 8am in the morning to get my maintenance interval reset. I was in the fence to get my car serviced because my previous experience was so horrible and terrifying but then I told myself just go because things might be different this time around. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, I was actually disappointed all over again. The staffs came in as they saw me sitting down but none of them bothered to say “good morning” or even smile as they came in. Wow!!! And I am sure no one will follow up with me because they don’t care about their clientele. I doubt the manager or the general manager of this location will even reach out to sympathize with me. Truthfully, I wouldn’t be surprise if I don’t hear from anyone. #Fact!!!

This is a longer review, but I wanted to wait until a month of ownership of the Stelvio before I wrote it. Spoiler alert: we love it.First of all, if youre in the market for an X3 or Q5, you MUST test drive the Stelvio. When it comes to the driving experience, youll be pleasantly surprised.I had a 328i manual transmission couple that I loved. Our baby needed a booster seat, so unfortunately we had to transition out of a coupe. We test drove the X3, 330i, RDX, Q5, Highlander and the Passport (all 2020s).The X3, 330i and Q5 had great tech, but did not match in driving experience to my old bmw. Obviously cant compare the driving experience of a sport coupe to a sedan/SUV, but I guess I expected more from the brand new BMWs. The new BMWs felt boat-y (word?), over-styled, and looking back, I would overall describe them as underwhelming. In any event, we committed to get the X3.The Stelvio was a last minute addition. Its not on many top 10 lists, and frankly I thought Alfas were out of our price range. We were surprised to learn the Alfa/Maserati Criswell dealership was hidden off of Middle Brook Rd. close to our home in Germantown. The plan was formed to test drive the Stelvio just to check off a final box, but still 99% planned to go with the X3.We took the Stelvio home the same day. We love the car. its different, fast, fun, spacious, and handles like a coupe. The review quote that accurately summarizes our experience (my wife found it) was:In a world of bland crossovers, the Stelvio is a spicy Italian meatball in a Ferragamo suit.On top of our awesome experience with the Stelvio itself, was the excellent experience at Criswell Alfa.James was our non-pushy sales guy. He has an old dad vibe, but knew or was able to get any and all of the information we needed. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle, specs, tech and various packages that distinguished the vehicles.The finance manager Krystie is a financial guru. As a team they made us feel like they wanted our business, worked on our pricing, gave us space when we needed to consider our options, and really made the deal happen.All in all, definitely go to Criswell Alfa Romeo. Ask for James and Krystie, they made this major decision a fantastic experience.

Refreshingly pleasant, enjoyable experience working with James Tan and the Criswell team to return my leased Guilia and lease a new one.James was excellent to work with. He ensured I had a chance to see and compare all the cars I was considering, answered all questions I had, and made the entire experience a breeze.By far the best car buying experience I have ever had.

Worked with Robert and Danny on a new Stelvio via email. Very easy to deal with, straightforward, fair and transparent. Drove 2.5 hours from VA to pick up Stelvio and turn in my Alfa lease. Nearly everything was done before I arrived and was in and out in about an hour. Outstanding service and a great vehicle!Highly recommend Criswell as well as Alfa Romeo.

Sneaky dealer were, never transparent with the deal. The deal that was discussed and promised to us was different from what was put on paper. I was rushed into signing the deal at the end of the day so I never got a chance to review it throughly. My husband was very clear about our requirements and spent almost all day at the dealership discussing it. Car performance is average. Please save your self headache and avoid going to this dealershipCustomer service awful. Service center awful, a car breaks down and you can not provide a loaner car. I had to get off work early to get a rental. Worst part was my husband had to drive in bad weather with my sick child to pick me up from the train station so I could go get a rental to get to work the next day.I regret my decision to lease from them

Hands down the BEST Alfa Romeo dealership in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. This is my second Stelvio that I’ve had and I will only go back to Criswell AR for service or sales although it is a hike from me. James in Sales and Kristie in Finance and Anthony in Service are professional, courteous and patient with me and my situation. I had purchased from a dealership that is no longer around, and had therefore serviced my Stelvio at yet another dealership before I stumbled upon Criswell in Germantown. The level of service at Criswell and caring they extend, like they appreciate you are their customer is by far the best of the three Alfa Romeo dealerships in the area I’ve encountered. Customer service is incredibly important in my book. I can’t say enough great things about how positive and efficient my experience was here. If looking for an Alfa Romeo don’t waste your time going elsewhere.

Sales Rep Mr. Danny Ahn at Maserati Criswell dealership did an absolutely stunning job.He was on point about the car I was interested in on Alfa Romeo Giulia that I had no clue about until I met him in person.He was very subjective to matter and sharp on his knowledge and educated me so much throughout the whole process.I would recommend Mr. Danny, if you are looking for a new/used/leasing a car.He will not hesitate to go extra miles to do extra research and work for you even when he is off duty.Extremely satisfying with my purchase with him and here at Criswell Alfa Romeo!

I visited this dealership on May 13th (Second time) it was better than my initial visit from February but that is not saying much. I very sparsely worked with the Salesman Michael.He himself was alright as a person but it felt like he was battling me on what I was looking for on a vehicle and what I was comparing the Giulia with. It also felt like he wanted to rush me to make a decision. The vehicle a pre-owned 2019 going for $26k (a great price for that vehicle based on brand) but it felt like that is all he was trying to base his responses on. I mentioned the vehicle I test drove earlier and his response was well that is a different car. Of course its different, thats why Im comparing them.All in all, the experience was pretty subpar for a dealership the totes higher class.

After being quickly and pleasantly greeted upon arrival, I was paired up with Mike in Sales. As a younger female, car dealerships can be difficult to navigate. Mike was knowledgable, easy to work with, and he made me feel very comfortable throughout every step of the process. Everyone else I encountered at the dealership also had a positive, happy demeanor and I would highly recommend it. It was an easy decision to purchase from Criswell after my experience!

I have to say that my salesman, James, did everything that I asked of him. He let me test drive and take a couple days to think about it without typical phone calls asking ‘when are you coming back in?’ The finance person Krystine (sorry if I misspelled your name) did everything under the sun to get me what I wanted. Agree with Arielle and similar experience.. The worst possible experience you could possibly have in trying to make an informed decision. Never mind I showed up with one of current vehicles (a luxury brand that Im considering to trade in). Profiled, turned off, and turned away before I even got to the door.Poorest representation of an automobile brand that Ive encountered. I dont think Alfa Romeo would want to be represented in such a manner.

My visit was an overall excellent experience. I went in last week to test drive an Alfa Guilia. Ive had my eye on this car for a few years now and am happy to say it exceeded my expectations. Mike Disogra took me out in the car and was great to drive around with. His thorough knowledge of the car as well as his general demeanor on the ride gave me even more confidence as a potential buyer. The car appeared to have been detailed inside and out and was ready to be driven as soon as I showed up. This hasnt always been the case in past experiences at other dealerships and was greatly appreciated. From the positive attitude amongst the staff and the immaculate layout of cars in the showroom, I gathered that these guys really care about what theyre selling. All in all, the dealership was just a nice place to be.

I stopped by today and had a test drive a Stelvio with Danny. This is the best dealer experience Ive ever had. Danny has been very friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the car, and most importantly did not make me feel pressured at all during the entire process. I highly recommend this dealer and Danny for your car purchasing needs.

Quite literally the worst dealership experience of my life.I walked in, ready to buy, but having never driven the car I wanted. I was not offered a test drive, I was not offered any additional info on the car, it was basically here it is.Im a top producer in high ticket sales, I know sometimes customers give off a vibe that theyre not a buyer -- I assume I did, being young at a luxury dealership, but the salesman made that fatal assumption and someone else got my money.

TWO MONTHS FOR REPAIRS AND WEEKS OF LIES ABOUT DELAYS!!!During the car buying experience I thought the world of Criswell. However, my after purchase customer care experience has been a nightmare where my car has been in the Criswell shop for 2 months and Im told week after week its because they either the parts are backordered (a claim that Alfa Romeo denies) or in the most recent case, because they forgot to order the clips to install the replacement bumper they ordered .... overall quite possibly the worst car ownership experience Ive had in 25 yearsEDIT BASED ON CRISWELL RESPONSE - Considering this is the first time in 2 months that anyone from your management or supervisory team has responded to me (and yet have not received a call) after being lied to and shined on by both your team and Alfa Romeo your internet apology rings hollow

Bought out of state, paid full in advance, it took about 3 weeks to get the car, due to medieval administration. I had to rent another SUV for 2 weeks because of this. Dealership wrote me that the car was in like new condition, free of scratches and dents.” When the car arrived I noticed some scratches and paintchips and I asked the driver what happened. He told me they where there already when he picked up the car and showed me a Bill Of Lading (I have a copy) where the scratches and chips were marked, document signed by the dealer. Options listed in the original ad (I kept a copy in pdf) showed several options that are simply not there. No Adjustable Rail System, No 115V Auxiliary Power Outlet, No Cargo Net. Even the floormats are missing.I have contacted Alberto, Robert, Krystie, Mark, but no answers whatsoever.Be careful, do not pay full in advance! Or at least use an escrow account. Once they have your money, they couldn’t care less. Sad to see this type of “service” for such a nice brand.

If you intend to purchase a Criswell Alfa car, I highly recommend Mr. Mara. He knows every inch of the car. Let him take you for a test drive and youll be sold like I was. Service went downhill. Went over the summer to get my A/C fixed as well as my infotainment with no solution or call back/loaner available on my 2017 Giulia QV. Went over to Johnson Annapolis Alfa Romeo who was leaps and bounds better when it comes to service.
