We received really great windows that have made a huge difference with our heating/cooling. However, the installation job is just very sloppy- not the caliber of work we expected. Nail holes are showing, some nails weren’t punched through all the way, and there is caulking smeared everywhere. Overall not totally impressed with installation- especially for what we paid.

My consultant, Keron was on time, professional and very thorough in explaining all of my options for both window and door replacement. He took his time to ensure all of my questions were answered and I knew exactly what to expect for install day.

Pella offers exceptional windows so when it was time for my husband and me to purchase new windows for our home we did not hesitate to go with Pella. We called Pella and an appointment was set up right away for a Pella representative to come to our home. This took place within 3 to 4 days.We were very fortunate to have Mark Owens as our sales rep. Mark was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He thoroughly explained the quality of Pella and made a great presentation. We could not have asked for a better or more qualified representative. We purchased the windows without hesitation.A few days after Mark came to our home, another representative from Pella came to perform a final inspection to make sure everything was in order. The price was well over what we paid for comparable windows. Our sales rep asked us if we wanted trim. We told him we wanted them to look good. Then we find out after we felt like we over paid that the windows would be left looking worse than the original windows. We were finally able to get things worked out. The contractor was supposed to take 3 days took 3 weeks. He would show up late or not at all. Not call. Say he would definitely be there after not show up or call. It happened several times.

The product is good. The installation is good. I love the windows. My only complaint is that they did not get a building permit for the work even though I asked them repeatedly about it on at least three different occasions. Apparently, somewhere in the fine print, it says the home owner is responsible, but they did not point that out to me until the building inspector showed up. I had to pay a fine for not having a permit to replace my windows, and Pella wouldnt take any responsibility for that.

We are impressed with Pella Windows! Our salesman, Jack was very knowledgeable and explained the entire process to us with no pressure. Doug did our measurements and was very effecient. We have been very pleased with this company and their professionalism.

Mr. Jake Dunleavy came out to my house today and used a computer generated simulator to show me what options I had for a replacement door at my residence. He let me know all of the color options, materials that I could choose from, and also show me what the door will look like. At the end of this presentation, he disclosed to me the the pricing for the door and that Pella offered a transferable warranty to a new owner if we decided to sell in the next 10 years. Plus he also let me know something about the company and all its certified trained technicians then let me know that the job would get done right the first time.

I wanted an expansive view of my lovely garden and had started looking at patio doors for my bedroom. I received an ad from Pella Windows and Doors in the mail offering $500 off for any door. So I called the company and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. My salesman, Tony Cheshire, was very knowledgeable and personable. I purchased a 12 foot slider which counted as 2 doors so I received $1000 discount off of my total purchase. The site manager, Matt, was very pleasant to work with. He brought Jeremy, the contractor, by to see the job at hand. Once my door came in... my experience got even better. Jeremy and his assistant, Chris, did expert quality work installing my door and refurbishing the wall around it! Jeremy, subcontracted a brickmason to complete the door surround on the exterior. Sam McCormack was our sales rep. He did a great job. He was on time, gave us enough information, but not too much. He wasn’t pushy, and he gave us a decent price. These windows are not cheap, but I bought some for a different residence 9 years ago and they look and work very nicely. We just signed the deal, and installation should be about 6-7 weeks from now. Don’t expect any problems, but I’ll repost if we have any. Call Pella and ask for Sam!

Our Pella windows purchase has been one of the best investments weve ever made. The entire process, from initial measurements to installation, was quick and flawless.We had all of our cheaply made contractor grade windows replaced with Pella Designer Series casement windows and I cant tell you what a difference it has made. Not only are we saving money on our utility bills but they are simply beautiful, elegant windows and we always get compliments on them.When we decide to open the windows to enjoy the spring temperatures it is so nice to be able to pull down the retractable screen, flip a switch and crank the windows open with no effort at all.Granted, these windows do cost some money, but Ive always known that you get what you pay for, and you just cannot get a better window for your money.If anyone out there is looking to upgrade your windows you really should buy Pella. You wont regret it.

Looking for storm doors and they have that as an option on their phone tree, however was disappointed when I was advised that they do not install storm doors. Kid that answered the phone seemed young and un-knowledgable

I requested window that had two features: 1.reduce noise and 2.matched other home windows. The window they delivered has green hue and ruins my house.In early 2016, I ordered two new windows from Pella. I was very clear about my criteria for the window. I explained, first, that the windows had to match, as closely as possible, other windows in the house. Second, the window should reduce the sound and noise from the street. Keep in mind also that I live in a historic house, in a historic neighborhood. I purchased the most expensive windows they had (total cost was around $2,800), since I care deeply about my home and this was really a question of having the best quality and best look possible.They installed the window at night and so I didnt actually see the window until the next day. Heres what happened after they left. I discovered that the window they delivered did not reduce street noise and, whats worse, the window they installed has a green tint. Given the green tint, the window looks nothing like the other windows on my house and really stands out in a bad way. In my humble opinion, my historic home looks significantly worse than before. I have contacted Pella, from time to time, but have not received a suitable resolution. They have offered to take out the green-tinted glass and replace with glass without the green-tint, but only at a significant cost. In the meantime, I have paid for another window-company to come in and add a storm window over the Pella work. However, the problem is still there and we continue to see the green. The salesman I have dealt with is Will Robertson. Customers should keep in mind that he is just in sales and, as far as I can tell, does not know anything about window installation. When I contacted him about the problem early on, he seemed to say that he had no way of knowing what color the glass would be. He later stated that green-tinted windows is the only thing that Pella can produce.

Joe was very friendly and sincere, showed great communication prior to and during the appointment and going over all of our options without being pushy. It wasn’t our only quote for our window replacement but the soft skills demonstrated made us feel confident that Pella was the best choice for us.

All of the people who came to measure, check measurements, and install did a fantastic job. They were polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. I really appreciated all they and will buy Pella with does again.

I would have rated this higher, but I was very disappointed in their installation process, or at least my experience. I have a very large home with 20+ windows to replace and was told it would take 4 days to replace my windows. The job took a little over two weeks. The initial installers consisted of 2 groups who had a falling out during my installation and it wasn’t transparent to me the customer. Also I was told the installers would arrive first thing in the morning which was 10, 10:30, and 11am most of the time. The rooms had saw dust and a lot of debri when they left and my bushes were littered with large pieces of broken glass and debri. I do like the Pella windows but was very discouraged with the installation experience.
