The teachers are great. They have what I need (sometimes). The owner is a nice guy and I appreciate his business that he’s accumulated over the years. I’ve done private lessons at Gilbert Music and was not disappointed. Keep up the great work guys. You guys have my full support.

Owner doesnt understand how to do business. Guys attitude is like a grumpy old man telling everyone to stay off the lawn. When a customer complains he responds by telling you its your fault and blah blah. Hell lose a customer over a few bucks. So many options is Gilbert. Dont come to Gilbert Music and Lessons.Zero good reviews

Under no circumstance should you EVER rent an instrument here. Go to Milano music, but not here. The instrument I rented was poorly maintained and falling apart. I was advised by my own concert band director to never rent from here; it’s far too cheap.

Dont buy anything at this store. I bought a bunch of drum sticks for my sons band class in Junior High. I specifically asked the clerk if I could return the drum sticks and/or music book. They seemed to struggle to know what the syllabus was asking for. They didnt have everything it was asking for and then later when I learned from the school that it would be easier and cheaper to buy the whole set online, they refused to return anything and offered me store credit only. When I voiced my complaint about their mixed messages they did not acknowledge my claim and appeared indifferent and aloof. Dont go there!

Liked nothing...would not work with me. The viola they rented me had a stripped screw and it never stayed tuned. They never fixed it. Worse customer service ever and never returned a phone call...even when I told them I wanted to pay.

Clerk was friendly, but didnt seem knowledgable at all. I asked for a particular type of cable. He wasnt familiar with the cable so he looked it up in the computer. We went to the cables and the clerk said that they werent labeled correctly. He asked me what it looked like and I described it to him. We looked through the small selection of cables on the pegs. Many had been there a very long time. Store is cluttered and dirty. If the clerk wasnt friendly, I would leave a 1 star.

All of the music teachers here are top notch and very kind and cost for lessons are fairly reasonable. The only downside is the facility is a bit lacking.

The piano teacher is very nice and dedicated, as well the staff. The place is not clean and not very well maintained. The location in the map should be closer to the cinemas.

I am here on Sunday during their posted hours and no-one is here. There is even a schedule of hours on window that says 2-5 on Sunday.

The other day I switch my daughters violin cause she needed a full size and I was almost finish paying for it, to find out that when I switched the violin they said i owe them 60% of the violin. But no one told me the day i did the switch. I found out 6 months later cause I noticed the charge on my card. Now, they said they wont return my money unless I return the violin. They said they tell their policies to their costumers when they do the exchange, but do you think I would do that. if someone tells me that I would have to continue paying for 60% more. Of course I would say NO!

Just called this store to see if they had a spit valve for a trombone. The rude gentlemen was not helpful. All I wanted to know is if they have the part. He instead tells me how I may not be able to find the part theres so many different brands. As I reply well can I bring it in and see if we can find a fit all I need is the part I can do it myself Ive done it before. . He then laughs thats why you need a new part ^_^ look here ive been playing this instrument for 18 years i know what im doing and know you are good at pissing off your customers ive been quoted in mesa for 20 bucks if you can beat it and find it I would like to come pick it up so how much are they so I can come pick it up? His response 50 bucks I hang up phone.

Rents out cheap instruments that you can buy for yourself on Amazon for the cost of less than 1 years rent.
