I purchased two tires w/ full warranty. Ive had to replace two already for defective tires. Now, Im in the process of the replaced tire making a warped sound which has not been located by Walmart. The manager advised me to go to Goodyear so they can find out the issue since the tires are Goodyear brand. The manager told me that he would compensate me once Goodyear locate the issue.Im tired of the going to and fro. So very tired of the ongoing tire issues.
Had the fish. Would definitely go there again food was excellent hush puppies fried mushrooms and onion rings. Quaint little placeOnly drawback is his cash only
They failed to put all of the pieces back on my car and the splash skirt underneath came apart... The manager gave me $100 to fix my car but by the time I could bring it to the mechanic the splash guard came apart and ripped the metal from the underside. I kept telling Justin that he needs to go out and help the guy working on my car I thought there was something wrong because of the amount of time it was taking him change the oil. Three times I asked Justin to go out and help the guy and every time he came in and told me no hes fine. I left the store not realizing that they didnt put it back together correctly. 2 days later I noticed the guard hanging down and brought my car back and they refused to work on it, thats when the store manager got involved. The manager of apologize to me and said that she could not make them work on the car and gave me the $100 compensation... But like I said, before I got to the mechanic shop that could work on it, the underside had already torn off. I wish I would have not taken the $100 because its going to cost me a lot more to get everything fixed... Walmart you owe me!
Fast and friendly service. Got an oil change before a long trip
Firstly the women that run the front desk are GREAT (especially Kaela). But I bought four new tires for my conversion van. After they brought the van into the bay it took them an hour to tell me they don’t have the equipment to lift my van. For fun I went to another Walmart and they did it with no problem and laughed “they can lift it they just didn’t want to. That store is notoriously lazy”. Also so many people came in to change their and they would say yea to some people and no to others but the bays were empty and workers just standing around.
I came here for a few years but ultimately stopped. The reasons for my decision were because my car leaked oil for over a week after getting my oil changed here. Overfilling your car with oil is just as bad for your car as underfilling. I also had to wait for a long time even though I had been on the books for an allotted time. Why make an appointment if it does you no good? Find somewhere else to get your oil changed.
Good. I forgot my debit card but the cashier helped me set up WalMart pay. Nice, patient lady.
Had an appointment, but still ended up waiting around for about an hour and a half. Most of the hold up felt like it was on the cash register rather than the guys working in the auto bay. It is nice to have a place to browse while your car is worked on though. Also disappointed that they don’t do alignments. The people working were nice and were patient. I am sure the slowness was frustrating them too, not sure what was the source of it. Wasn’t very busy.
Terrible could not find any to wait on me. Waited for an hour and left.
The service department was friendly and our wait wasnt not even an hour
I havent been to their auto center in years. So just stop
They were nice, did a good job.
Although normally open, they were closed that day
Closes to early to often due to man power issues
Both tires we had replaced have developed large bubbles in the sidewalls within 3 months of having them replaced. Complete waste of money and time. Horrible products.
They were just the Best
Prices beat the competitors however you will pay for this with your time because the service is never fast. I know this and still today it put me in a bad mood. So I left with the same tires on my car after attempting to make a Friday appointment. I ordered the tires and had them shipped directly to this store but they still remain unable to locate all four tires. Reggie in the Automotive department at the Gladstone Walmart has definitely made this situation better. Putting in the extra effort to locate the tires even on his day off. So Reggie is you read this. Thanks for your kindness and all your hard work!
Great staff!! Justin, is great always a pleasure to deal with.Lena is an amazing manager and is nothing but helpful and kind, she is on top of the ball and always making sure customers are in and out quickly and feel taken care of.I would recommend this service center to anyone who needs something fixed or just general maintenance on their car.
Needed a new battery for my car. I called them up to confirm that they had the correct one and the employee was very helpful. Drove straight there and was able to have battery installed very quickly. Have never used them before but will use them again.
Oil change was super quick! Quicker than any Walmart Ive dealt with. However, they told me they would find out where my coolant leak was coming from and told me there was not one. The next day my engine overheated. 🙃
Helpful and reasonable wait time.
Nice folks!
Took my car in for tire replacement. I have wheel locks received a call two hours later. Was told over the phone that they snapped my wheel lock key. Actuality they snapped my key and broke the lug but in half. Then was told they do not have the capability of fixing the issue was told to take my car to a full service auto shop to have fixed and then bring back for tire replacement. I dont think they have a single mechanic in this place. Not only will I never take my car back. I would not let these idiots work on a bicycle let alone my automobile. Just cause its cheaper you can see why. This place is a complete joke.
Very helpful customer service. Extensive products. Good buys for the money.
I went in today at about 2pm. The 2 guys working behind the counter were pretty unprofessional to other customers walking by. They were making fun of their appearance and laughing behind their backs. I stated to the same individuals politely that I have a tire that has a nail and was wondering if it could be repaired and if it cant how much would a new tire cost. I had all my information to give them but they didnt bother asking for. They just told me they werent accepting anymore customers today. They didnt give me any reason. Just that. So, I had to go somewhere else. Walmart auto care essentially lost a customer and a sale. I dont think management holds the employees accountable and they are there just to collect a check.
Its a good oil change for a little bit. Only thing is expect to wait at least an hour to get it done. Good people working there though!
Perhaps if they ever answer my phone calls, I will be able to change my review. I eagerly await that day. I ordered tires through walmart pickup to be sent to the store. Got a notification that they arrived in store yesterday, so I called and was put on hold for 15 minutes before I gave up as I had other things to do. No big deal. Called again today and was out on hold for 40 MINUTES before I could say anything at all. Then, when I asked to make an appointment, they asked for a phone number to call back because they are too busy. IF I WAIT 40 MINUTES TO TALK TO YOU, YOU ARE SURE AS HECK NOT CALLING ME BACK. Ill go in person later. Fortunately for them, I ordered tires through walmart, and I need my tires before winter comes. They are going to get my business because now Im stuck. But this is getting old. Service sucks. Hope they fix it.
I went here because my tire was leaking air. I got in rather quickly and the guy that looked at it brought it out and said it was going to be classified irreparable because the hole was on the outer ridge of the tire. He explained how they plug it and patch it and the patch probably wouldnt hold. I asked him if he would go ahead and do it anyways, and he was willing. Thank you tire guy. 😎
Brought in a flat about 630 in the evening. They were busy but got me in. It took nearly two hours but they were able to patch it for me and they filled my spare with the correct psi. If you have to wait two hours, you might as well do it at Walmart. We ate dinner, shopped, and taught my 5 years-old to ride a bike. Make lemonade!
Called to confirm if they check battery and asked about if I need an appointment. He said first come first serve but nothing about waiting time. I drive 20 minutes there and then he tells me 2.5 hours waiting and I have to leave the car.Couple of things could change here. 1. The person attending the phone could be more resourceful and tell me the waiting time. Small differerence could change the experience to a big extent. 2. Management must change the policy and should start taking appointments
Its walmart. You get what you pay for. Staff was helpful.
Took car battery in to be tested. Both clerks at the auto desk were overwhelmed, disorganized, clumsy, and very cross with one another. Stumbling around dragging the phone off the counter on to the floor. Complaining that the computer was too slow. Answering phone not being to provide estimated times for service to customers because not enough mechanics were there. This was only eight oclock in the morning! Another waiting customer was wandering around very irritated with the service he was getting. I jokingly told him I wonder what these people are gonna look like by five oclock. I got my battery tested and replaced and was glad to escape that miserable environment. Walmart should not be servicing cars!
Came in at 8am sharp to a line leftover from black Friday auto deal.. initially they said it would be a 2.5 hour wait before my vehicle would be seen but it only took them 1hr to complete my request and the peoples request that were ahead of me.. honestly Im impressed and very satisfied with the service. Thank you Wal-Mart:)
I had ordered tires online and shipped to the auto center. Had amazing coustomer service. It took a bit of time, 3 hours, well worth the wait ! I would recommend this auto shop!!
Brought my car in right after work tonight to get my tire patched. Was told by the customer service rep it would take about 45-60 minutes to get it in. I figured that wasnt too bad. In reality, I was there for 2 hours before they around to looking at it. I literally was at Walmart for 2 1/2 hours total for a silly little tire patch. Unbelievable. Save your time and sanity and go to Firestone. Might cost a little more, but I guarantee it will be done so much faster. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!
Employees here are always willing to help and if they cannot they have no problem suggesting other locations for you!!!
Got me right in fast friendly service helped myself and my daughter out new tires on her vechicle also the manager replaced my tire from damage done from a pot hole great group of guys thank you I appreciate you all!
Always do my oil changes here the only thing I wish the listen better when you tell them about something and not doing whatever they are used to do but generally good
3 star because some mechanics need extra training.
Told me 5 hour wait to fix tire. Called 4.5 hours later saying my truck was to heavy for their lift as it had a 9000 lb max lift. Got 4 weigh tickets showing my truck weighing 7700 to 7780... wasted my time for nothing. Oh and the manager checked and said truck weigh to much. By my math 7700 is less than 9000...
Long wait, but thats how it is on the weekend. Service is good at a reasonable price.
Love Walmart! Oil change $19.88. Got our shopping done at the same time.
Not deaf friendly,
Well had tires mounted and balanced... New tires... Front and back shook when driving... Went back and let them try again ... Same thing... Went to big o tire... Paid again problem fixed
Avoid at all costs. 8 hours to get a simple oil change. Terrible.
Great prices with Sams card. Employees seem very over worked and understaffed.
This place got a 1 because the staff was rude. I went to get an oil change because I just had surgery and couldnt do it myself. I went in at 4pm to be told they werent accepting new customers. No reason, just they werent. They close at 7.... I called Liberty WM and they got me right in.
The clowns they got working in automotive service departmemt need to be fired. Hour and a half to change oil on my truck..and I was the only vehicle in the garage...1 plug 1 filter 7 quarts ...it aint that hard . they need to get some employees back their that are more serious about there job. No matter what you are doing for a living be great at it.
Was passing through KC when I ran over a nail. Brought my car here to get a new/cheapest tire. They fixed my tire but when getting back my car I discovered they also punctured my other tire with what I can assume was metal tool of some kind. I argued about why would I have 1 tire fixed but not another that was clearing losing air with a hole in it. I had no proof so I paid them to fix another tire. I took both old tires with me since I had a warranty with them in my state. Upon returning to my home state I got 2 tires better quality tires put on. I reimbursed for 1 Wal-Mart tire and got new tire put on for free. The other tire I had to pay for as it was vandalism. I did receive I hefty discount since my tire place said it happens alot.
Asked them to replace a tire that kept going flat. They told me it was a 4 hour wait so I left my vehicle there. They called me 3.5 hours later and said that it was ready for pickup. They didnt replace the tire as requested, they only repaired it. Smh bad customer service and no communication skills here. Should have known better.
Why couldnt even mount and balance tires properly. Stripped my lug nut stud.
I went here two days ago to get my oil changed and my tires rotated. I also paid them to vacuum my seats and carpet.. And top off my fluids. The only thing they did was change my oil. They didnt even put a sticker on to tell me when I changed it or when I needed it changed. I would never reccomend this place to anyone. I will definitely be going to management.
Very helpful
Customer service is very poor, you nearly have to speak to a manager to get anything done. The only reason why I gave it at 2 was their prices are very good.
I went for oil change and I really enjoyed their quick services and friendliness.
Came in 2 hours before close and their not taking any more tickets! The other day around the same time it was a 3 t ok 4 hour wait.Thought I could knock out 2 things at once, but then again this is WalMart the most horrible retailer in the world, smh
Good place for oil change wander around the store about 30 minutes and your car should be ready
TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!!!! Got 4 new tires in February with road hazard. Got a screw in tire employee tried to send me to tires plus to get it fixed. I asked him if he was going to meet me there to pay for it. Ended up taking to Wal Mart to get it fixed. After two hours of watching employees stand around talking or keep looking through manuals to try and figure out how to fix whatever they were supposed to be fixing, finally got tire. I will never let Walmart near any of my vehicles.
I needed an oil change and they were not open
MOST INCOMPETENT, LAZY MECHANICS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!spent two and a half hours with one car in front of me only to be told they were unable to remove the old tires because they were seized to the hub. Ive had my tires rotated at the dealership with every oil change. Took my truck home jacked it up and popped every tire off just fine.DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR VEHICLE ANYWHERE ELSE!
Took a tire in to get patched they didnt even pull the tire off the rim to see if they could patch it. Apparently unless the hole in your tire is conveniently in the middle of the tire. Took it to tires plus no problem in and out 30 mins.Walmart has some of the laziest employees on this planet
I have been here before, and the work they do, when they do it, is not too bad. When I got there today though, I had to wait in line 15 minutes to find out there was a 3 hour wait for service. If this were the only time it was like this, that would be one thing, but this is certainly not the first, and likely not the last
Auto did a fine job of taking care of my explorer.
Always had good luck at Walmart auto. Oil changes are cheap and they will do it while you shop.
Had a flat last night and the tow truck driver brought me here as it was still open at 630pm (closes at 7pm supposedly) and he said they should have a lug nut key. However the service manager refused to intake the vehicle or look at it or keep the car keys until morning and told me to return at 7am to check it in.After a taxi ride back here this morning, during the intake that finally happened (kind of) was told - oh, you dont have a lugnut key - we cant fix this. This Wouldve been nice to know last night when it was still hitched to the tow truck.Instead, this morning Im waiting for a 2nd tow truck (2nd service call fees etc.) to take me to firestone. This was the worst service and customer service Ive ever experienced in anything.
Purchased a car battery, service was a bit slow- but the phenomenal cashiers made up for it!
Was passing thru KC and heard the doomed pssssst coming from a tire while pumping gas. Found nearest Wal-Mart from my hotel as it was early Sunday morning. Took a little longer than expected with everything considered from number of workers and empty bays, but 2 hrs it was fixed. Great customer service and clean area.
Quick friendly service. I asked them to check the air in my tires and they even replaced one of the valve caps .
One tire machanic was helpful but other staff not so much
The experience at this store compared to other wal mart tire and lubes was an eye opener. They actually provide the customer with excellent service and run a very tidy repair shop with a knowledgable service manager-(Anthony). He was right on my tire order and had them in front of me in less than 10 minutes.I tried to make 2 previous purchases at other Walmarts for tires and the automotive departments were in disarray and very unorganized with very loose inventory. Every Walmart automotive needs to base their standards off of this automotive department. I will be making the 45 minute drive to this place just for the service and peace of mind.
Walmart in Gladstone is amazing! Great people in the Auto center!!
Tires look good, they didnt call when the work was done.
Never use this service center. I took my car to Walmart for an oil change every 3 months for a period of 2 years or more. At the end of that period my car had over $3000 worth the damage due to the negligence and incompetence of the walmarts auto mechanics.
Slower than molasses in a Michigan winter. It took 2 guys standing around and 1 guy in a car to back the car out of the bay when the two standing around couldve pulled in 2 other cars!As with most anything Walmart expect less than standard care.
Came up here for an oil change. I only seen one car in front of me. The woman said itll be 30 minutes to an hour. Now its past an hour and i see my car havent even left the spot i parked lol and now its 4 people ahead of me.. so the woman at the desk tells me that the other woman messed up on the timing... Im never coming here again for any car service. This is sad..
Always have to wait 3 or more hours to get anything done.
Always great experience getting an oil change!!
They did pretty good changing my tires here
Hard to get any customer assistance for simple automobile turn signal bulb locked up!
They are absolutely horrible! They shouldnt even get 1 star out of 5!!! I took my car there today just to get an oil change. They told me it would be up to an hour and 1/2 wait time. It took them well over twice as long to finish. To top it off, they messed my car up! It sounds like a truck now and also like something is loose. I brought it back to the guy who claimed he was the manager. He told me there was nothing done wrong on there part. So why does it sound so terrible now once theyve gotten to it??? They are the Pitts and I will just have to esculate this matter further. I would never recommend them to anyone!!!!! Horrible!!!!!
Slow. Rude. Get there at least 3.5 hours before they close or they will turn you away, even to patch a hole in a tire when there is no one in line. Ive given this place 6 chances because they are close to my house. The 6th time was the first time they didnt turn me away, and they were SO slow.
Very bad attitude, they put you on hold for 15-20 minutes and then when they get back to you, they are very disrespectful and unhelpful. Walmart needs to take this section of their business seriously or just shut it down if it doesn’t create margins for their profits. What a disgrace!
Wonderful management and employs there
They are under staffed at the front counter.
Had what I needed at a reasonable price.
Waited 6 hours for tires and they were not busy at all
Going to see a girl.....so awesome
I shuld not cm back here again waiting 3 hrs and the time i was there only 2 cars infront of me
As an older female I was taken advantage a few years ago and will not deal with them again.
Fast and professional customer care
If you don’t mind waiting 2 hours for a tire patch, it could be the place for you
I was told it would be 1 1/2hours. Three hours later my car is finally in the bay getting done. They need to tell the truth or fix the problem
Kinda rude:/
Very kind and did a great job
Tire techs couldnt even remove a wheel from my vehicle. Ordered the wrong size of tire and stripped two of my lug nuts.
