Always has great $ on snacky items I like to buy. I just found out they also sell fairy garden miniature sets so may have to check those out! So cute & incredible detail!

I love the renovation, it is awesome. They have a lot more grocery options now. It feels safer to go to DG than walmart packed with 100s of people. Plus the cashiers are always nice. They say hello when you come in and always are friendly at check out. I only wish that they had more fresh veggies available like carrot sticks, celery and apples. :)

Since I was last here, they have remodeled this location. It is so much nicer. I went to get two things but ended up with a full cartload! I will go back more often!

I shop at Dollar General A LOT and not only is this store ALWAYS clean but they have the BEST staff in a 150 mile radius!!!( I can say that matter of fact!) The store stays pretty well stocked for it being in the center of such a busy suburb such as Gladstone. I never have to search for items either as everything is always where it should be which makes my shopping SOOO much easier with my OCD not going crazy which is one of the absolute hardest things about shopping in an actual store for me. LOVE the energy all around and honestly spend way to much time and money here but Ive even got my boyfriend loving the DG life❤️

Family Dollar is closer to my home but they dont always have what I need. DOLLAR GENERAL always have what I am looking for. They have rearranged the store so mush more organized now.

I normally just go here to get cat-food and its a pretty okay experience. In and out pretty fast, but with the shortened store hours the lines are kind of long and staying holding 20 lb of cat food in a line with someone taking incredibly long to pay sucks. the staff is pretty good though its just the other clientele that drive me crazy

Needed a couple of items and the customer assistant was most helpful and pleasant. Her assistance was most appreciated.

Good place to go for tp and cleaning supplies. Saves you a trip to walmart.

It IS a Dollar General, always stocking carts in the way, always a strong laundry soap-sorta-smell, always on my compare prices store to shop! Current buy for the price; laundry soap, adult diapers, otc allergy, tummy, first aide items and $0.50 occation cards- heck Im putting $20 inside whys it gotta cost $6.99.

Extremely lazy n careless employees and manager on duty as bad. Smh if u go there just go in out buy what u can n don’t expect any type of customer care help or anything period.

Nice and friendly staff. The store is MUCH larger than it appears to be on the outside. They surprised me with the vast stock of assorted items. I found everything I was looking for and even cheaper than I expected. I will of course return to do more shopping here.

I got all my Easter Candy there. With $5 of $15 and I bought 2 pillows and a few other things. With $5 of a $25 purchase. Thats why I went there 🤗

The associate are so friendly and helpful, this is honestly the biggest Dollar General I’ve seen in a long time! It’s practically like a mini grocery store to be honest and on top of that they keep it very clean. My new favorite place lol 😂

The store is ho+ inside today like every day. The prices arent that cheap either when you shop at Save a Lot next door. Also save slot employees are nicer than Dollar General employees and thats not saying much.

The cashiers always greet you when entering the store. Staff is always friendly & helpful. The store is messy at times, but I can tell when they are short staffed. My 4 year old daughter loves the yellow dollar general shopping cart. It looks like it has been used a lot. 😄

Every time I come here theres usually only 1 cashier and ALWAYS a long long line! Many times I put stuff back and leave. My time is VERY important to me. Its one thing you can never get back! Need more staff....

Visibly older cashier was needlessly rude to a lady because she saw that her total was lower than expected so she wanted to add one more item. Started huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes and neck. Just trashy.

I was there the other day, while I was there I got cabinet liners, they were priced at 1 dollar according to there they were placed, I also got several other items, after we checked out I was thinking the price was a little high so I looked at the receipt. We ended up getting charged 2.47 a piece, I went in and told her what happened, she instantly got an attitude with me and told me that she had already got into an argument with another customer earlier that day and that someone was supposed to move them to the right place. I told her that I wanted them at the price that I thought it was like it said on the shelf it was on. She got who I assume was a manager and she started my refund, I gave her my receipt and then she asked for my ID I didnt have it, so she asked for my name and then my address, I told her I didnt want to give her my address, she then also got an attitude with me saying that its company policy and that if I want my money back then I have to give her my address and phone number. They gave me my money back and both of them were giving me nothing but attitude, I will not be returning to this store, it was the worst experience Ive ever had!!!

The store is a little small but it has a good selection, staff is friendly.

This is one of the locations that may or may not have what you need. Not to mention if they do its in a box in that middle of the store. The stores are always a right squeeze especially if theyre understaffed. Honestly I only go to this one out of necessity. Usually I got to thr one closer to Barry Rd.

Have been here a few times. Rude cashier, no people skills, never wears a name badge, and does not have good hygiene skills. I live right around the corner from here. Will probably never return to this store. Shes always been rude and gives nasty looks and just plain hateful. This store needs better people.

Typical Dollar General. Not the cleanest place but a quick and easy in then out! They have sample size things and regular name brand items for often a bit less.

Sometimes they have items, sometimes they dont. Sometimes the aisles are clean and free of obstruction, sometimes its an obstacle course. Still, cheaper prices on paper goods than CVS or Hy-Vee.

It was ok. Watch your prices! You can actually purchase items at the grocery store for a lot less.
