This Circle K is a decent location. They have had some bad Apple employees in the past but theyre doing really good now. They were closed during odd times during the covid-19 pandemic but they have also been robbed a few times during. They have a new upgraded working car wash 12 pumps 1 bathroom ice propane logs and they are open 24 hours.
Some of the pumps have “issues”. The outside and inside is kept clean enough although I never use the bathroom. The products aren’t stale.I would definitely not recommend the car wash, I took my Jetta through due to my regular being closed and it left marks all over my car and was very aggressive. When I went inside to talk to the employee she was rude as usual and not helpful at all. Said it’s not her business and to call tomorrow.Thankfully Nadine is really nice and helped me with my refund the next day, but I feel bad for her because her employees are embarrassing.
I was double charged for gas. I suspect it happened when I went into the store to have my receipt printed since it didnt print at the pump. I called the store after seeing the duplicate charge on my credit card and left a voicemail asking that someone call me back about the matter. Never heard back, so I visited the store. The cashier was unhelpful and didnt provide a refund even though I provided documentation of my double charge and had the receipt. I wont be filling up at this gas station anymore. There is a BP about a mile west and a Mobil about a mile east of here both on Roosevelt Rd.
This gas station has gone downhill instead of the staff doing there jobs they rather run the gas station like a clubThe heavy sat lady is very rude and jealousI’ve been here plenty of times why should I have to worry about this lady rolling her eyes as a paying customerShe flirts with customers And She walks around with no shoes on and carry’s a strong odorThere was a heavy sat male that worked the night shift whom carried an odor as suchImagine asking for a pack of cigarettes and that is there replyBut at least he kept the store running and open with more then a be back note on the storefrontThe hrs are whenever they’re open not 24hrsThere was a nice gentleman that At one point had the store under good management I don’t know what happened
The new manager Nadine has turned this store around. The place is always clean, the employees are always polite, they have new toilets and the bathrooms are always clean and the drug addicts from the drug hotel don’t hang out there and harass the customers anymore. I stopped going there about a year ago because the old management kept the place dirty, under stocked and always had drug hotel residents hanging out inside and out. This new manager has improved it 1000%! They should let her fix the Lombard and Wheaton stores because they’re unsafe, dirty and mismanaged !
This place isnt open 24 hours. You need to update your website.
Place smelled awful almost wanted to throw up. Employees were hanging out in front of the store and left someone who trained to operate the register. Outside on the floor there were garbage and hair extensions on the floor.
Easy to find items and the gentleman was nice to ask if I found everything okay. The hotdogs and tornados could be more stocked for customers though as there’s always very little to none to buy... can’t get 3 for $3 when there’s only 1 or 2
Christina is rude! If you don’t like the job find a new one. It’s not fair to the people like myself who get gas and other things in the morning to start my day. Several times She’s given me the eye roll, several times it seems whatever I request she huffs and puffs. It’s not my problem your card machine is out dated and you have to do it manually. Greet people with a smile. Not with a head roll acting like it’s difficult to do your job! Rude!
BUYER BEWARE! I was a loyal customer of this Circle K/Shell Gas Station (#6700) for many years. My family routinely buys gas for our 4 cars each week and we frequently buy other things there. Against my better judgement, out of necessity I recently purchased a car phone charger there. Even though it looked cheap and unreliable, the store manager (Priscilla) convinced me to buy with the assurance I could return it if it didnt work. Less than 48 hours later, the charger failed. A couple days later, I happened to be going to the Shell in the evening to get gas and ice, so I attempted to return the charger (even though my receipt was in my other car). The cashier (Jeffrey) was on his cell phone when I entered the store and he acted annoyed that he had to postpone his conversation to talk to me. When I attempted to make the return (without the receipt), Jeffrey angrily recited the companys policy and became inappropriately agitated. When I asked him why he was treating me in such a way, he told me several times to COME OVER HERE AND SUCK ME. Realizing he had gone too far, Jeffrey then told me he was going to call the police. All completely bizarre behavior. Ive tried several times to tell my story to store manager Priscilla, but she is seemingly only in the store a couple hours a day at random times, which is probably part of the problem. Why Shell or Circle K would employ somebody like Jeffrey is astonishing. Needless to say, weve taken our business to another gas station.
The worker was on his phone hanging out and had locked the doors at 11pm
Pizza not fresh. Brownie stale. Automated espresso machine was OK. Employees were friendly and unusually helpful at 10pm, so the ⭐🌟⭐ are based on that.
Shabby customer relations, irresponsible practices, and property damage. While parked out in front, the contractors striping the parking lot sprayed white paint all over my car. When I noticed it, my husband and I went inside to ask for the manager. The clerk told us that he didnt know when the manager would be there, and refused to look at the car. When asked for the managers name, he poked his finger at us, demanded that we leave the store, and threatened to call the police. Im hoping their surveillance camera caught this episode, because Steve the clerk was pretty bizarre and frightening.I called Circle Ks headquarters and was told that I would have to deal with the contractors, who agreed to pay for the repairs; once the repairs were done, they decided Circle-K was actually responsible. Although I tried to handle things in a civil, private way via phone and email, it wasnt until I posted on Twitter that Corporate finally resolved this matter.
This location isnt open 24 hours. The woman lies when she says they are always open and never close.
Worlds slowest carwash. If theres a line it will be twice as fast to drive to any other carwash/gas station. Typing this up while stuck in line, 25 minutes going on 30 so far...
Is NOT open 24 hours.
